According to Activision CEO Bobby Kotick, the Call of Duty franchise might extend its dominance into the realm of massively multiplayer online games. To Kotick, the MMOG market seems to be the next logical step in the progression of the game. If you tie his enthusiasm for the idea in with the impending merger of Activision with Blizzard Entertainment, it is easy to see that the idea may become reality. As it stands right now, the idea of an MMOG is nothing more than a good idea; a proposal for increasing the bottom line.
