GTA IV Patch 1.01 Now Available for PS3

According to Rockstar, patch v1.01 is now available for download for PS3. The fix updates the software in order to deal with the freezing issue due to server cache overload. The official released statement reveals that the patch "prevents Gamespy's servers from being overloaded and therefore reduces the impact on those servers that were causing the game to stutter and lock up." Additionally, Rockstar issued an apology to consumers and would "continue to monitor the performance of the game both on and offline and...provide further updates as necessary." |
