TGS 2008: Castlevania for 360 and PS3 Announced

Though still a long ways off, a new entry in the Castlevania series was announced at the Konami press event in Tokyo. ITmedia reports that the game will be available on both the Xbox 360 and PS3. There are no details as to whether the game will be a 3D or 2D title, but a short trailer featuring a man (similar to Alucard) holding a blood red sword was on display.
