Reports from the Suffern, NY Walmart seem to confirm that the PS3 tripled its monthly sales in March.

Electronics department manager Bob Jenkins commented on the recent success, “We actually sold three of those things this month.  I remember because I’m the only one with a display case key.  Besides, the customers all had forked-tongues – friggin’ foreigners!”

Apparently, Europeans have been traveling to the U.S., taking advantage of the disparity between the dollar and the euro to visit the Big Apple and pick up cheap electronics while they’re here.

While Sony attributes the recent sales increase to the announcement of game add-ons to such titles as Pain and PixelJunk Eden, Mr. Jenkins insisted that they’ve got it all wrong. “They’ve got it all wrong! It’s not about games, it’s just those fancy-pants Frenchies from across the pond, with their candy-colored currency and BO-masking cologne!”
