- Jiraiya: Successfully complete Story mode.
- Kabuto: Win 15 battles in Survival mode.
- Legendary Sannin: Win 15 battles in Survival mode.
- Non-Shippuden Characters: Win 15 battles in Survival mode on the Difficult setting.
- One Tail Kyuubi Naruto: Successfully complete Story mode on the Difficult setting.
- Sasuke (S): Successfully complete Story mode.
- True Form Sasori: Successfully complete Sidequest 2.
- Tsunade: Successfully complete Story mode.
- Uchiha Itachi: Successfully complete Sidequest 1.
- Four Tail Kyuubi Naruto: Successfully complete all 30 floors in Exploration mode with all 10 characters on the Normal difficulty.
Instead of going south in Story mode to find Sai, go east to start Sidequest 1.
Instead of going south in Story mode to find Sai, go east, then northwest to find Shino. He will give you Sidequest 2.
Successfully complete Story mode to unlock Exploration mode.
