Mega Weapons and the Battle System | +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ============================================================================= 6.A Basics about the Battle System and the Megabuster ============================================================================= In this section, I'll explain the basics of this new battle system that's similar to the one in the first game. In this game there are two main ways of attacking; battle cards or your Megabuster. This guide, as obviously denoted by the title, shall focus on the megabuster aspect of battle. The Megabuster is Mega's built in weapon of doom, involving 3 aspects as described above. To fire the Megabuster, press the B button, too invoke rapid fire, hold B, and of course, how fast you fire is dictated by the rapidity stat. The damage of each shot is determined precisely by the attack stat.(So 1 attack = 1 damage, etc) Then there's charge shots, quite unique really, as they can only be used once the Megabuster is fully charged, to charge you cannot fire or use chips for a certain amount of time, of course, how long this takes varies on your charge stat(and once fired resets your charge time). Then there are tribes, tribes mainly impact your cards and elemental affinity, but they also affect your buster too. A normal, non-tribe charge shot does 10*atk stat, and a regualar buster shot. A Ninja's charge shot throws a volley of 3 invis piercing, wood element Shurikens, each doing 5*atk stat. Then there's Zerker's charge shot, an electrical shockwave down the column charge shot doing 5*atk stat that paralyzes. Saurian's charge is a fiery slow cannon-likeattack that fires down the row, hitting first obstacle and the row behind it doing(10*atk stat)+20. Double tribes use the second tribe's charge. And lastly, tribe king does 3 elemental sonic booms, one of each tribal element, each spanning a row and each hit doing 10*atk stat! Also, there are ability waves that impact your megabuster, as such denoted by having charge in their name. The charge V/Cross/Spread affect the normal charge shot's radius, similar to Plasma Gun2/Gun3/Spread. There are also elemental panels, so when an enemy is hit by an attack, that panel is changed to the panel denoted by the ability. Also, since the Tribe King and Saurian Tribes hit multiple panels at once, all panels it covers that instant are changed, very nifty. Also, if you haven't noticed, some Wave Command cards can upgrade your buster. ============================================================================= \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ ============================================================================= 6.B Mega Weapon's Contents ============================================================================= Ok viewers, this is how this guide would be set up for you to read it as is. Synopsis to the story | ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Ok, the setting of this game sets approximately 2-3 months after the ending of Megaman Star Force 1. After that long of a time, the main character of the story adjusts to everyday life. One day, the main character and his friends decide to travel to the technological hub of TK City, where they witness a new device known as the Star Carrier at work.. The Star Carrier is able to take radio waves and transform them into material objects, known as Material Waves. While watching a movie, Geo and his friends witnessed an attack by a mysterious man named Hyde, who partners with an Unidentified Mysterious Animal, or UMA, named Phantom in order to wreak havoc. After fusing with Phantom, Hyde becomes Dark Phantom (ok name, I guess). When Dark Phantom is defeated by Mega Man, he flees, and from that point forward becomes one of the game's first main antagonists. Dark Phantom is later revealed to work for Dr. Vega, a scientist who is obsessed with reviving the lost continent of Mu. She has allied herself with Solo (alter ego Rogue), the last survivor of Mu, and the UMAs to achieve this goal. ******************************************************************************** +++++++++++++++++++++++ | 9. Walkthrough | +++++++++++++++++++++++ The real adventure....BEGINS! /====================\ | 9.A Welcome to 220X! | \====================/ First, choose which Tribe version you want to play. After that, you'll prompted to input your Auto Brother's information into the Star Carrier (they'll automatically be the version you didn't pick. Select their handle-name and what generic NPC they'll be) You'll then automatically get you Star Carrier. Afterwards, speak to the woman nearby and watch the commercial ship hit the ground. After the bit of commotion, talk to everyone and inspect the ship. Now you can go on air and into the Wave Hole that appears and commence the three tutorials (battle cards, war-rock attack, countering). After your quick ingame introduction, and some useless emails to reiterate, become a solid being again and walk back to the ship to automatically check it. Now talk to everyone and go over to the North and inspect the propeller on the roof of the northwest house. Now pulse in, grab the propeller, fix the ship, and speak to the movie producer to receive free tickets. So now speak to your mother, pulse, inspect your TV, then talk to your mother again (remember, radio waves can't talk to solid beings so you have to pulse to talk to someone normally). Wow, long day, go to sleep. Oh goodie, new day, rush over to the bus stop in town and choose to go to Wilshire Hills. Use the elevator and then speak to EVERYONE in the Hills(good luck with that). Head towards the outside of IFL Tower and speak to everyone (You'll have to examine the Sonia air display in order to start a conversation with the fanboy <_<. Head back to Wilshire Hills and go to the Shopping Plaza entrance. Looks like Bud dropped his ticket... Serves him right, so now it's time to play Where's Waldo 220X style. Talk to the older man to see where Bud's ticket dropped to(fishy, no?). Now to obtain the Sky Board Material Waves by first talking to one of the men, and then the lady. Wave in,examine both the man and woman's Star Carriers, and then speak to the man again to get the board. Retrieve the ticket, and then speak to Bud(wasn't that fun?). Enter the cinema, go to the top, talk to everyone, including Auron along the way, enter, the theater, and then go out to by some beverages. Come back to witness Dark Phantom's attack (about time something happened). Anyway, leave the theater and talk to the man near the elevator. What next? Of course, go on air, and go all the way down, and inspect the counters on the firstfloor of IFL Tower. The elevators will turn back on so pulse out and use them.. Inspect the ghosts at the entrance and then head back to the 3rd floor. Speak to the women in the corner. One of them should give you the Vacuum material wave. So with a huff and a puff, bye-bye go the ghosts and then head outside. Make your way to IFL Tower (the big pointy thingy in the northeast area) and Pulse in. Up and up we go along the wave roads around IFL Tower (take the purple warp nearby). If you come across missing roads, move to the area shown and engage in a battle with Ghosts with hats (WTF) to restore the road. If you bump into the ghosts, you must fight a set of the Boohat viruses as well. When you get to the top, watch the scene with Hyde and Phantom. Yay! Boss battle time so defeat Dark Phantom. Now the blonde wants to bro you, might as well to get an idea of brother banding. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ /============================================\ | 9.B Abominable Appearance of Yeti Blizzard | \============================================/ After receiving an email with the HP+50/50 Ability Wave, head to Wilshire Hills, enter the Shopping Plaza, and speak to Aaron, who will be in the cinema. Upgrade your Star Carrier. You'll receive an email from Legend Master Shin about Cipher Mail and the Sky High Colosseum.(to do the Sky High Colosseum, go talk to him at the top of the Shopping Plaza) Off to Luna's house and talk to everyone inside.Speak to your mother and then inspect your PC. Virus battle. That was epically hard. So off to bed with you! Use the air bus to head to a new destination, the Grizzly Peaks Resort and Foodtopia. Speak to someone standing outside the hotel and head to Luna. She'll tell you to check in but you can't as of the moment. Now talk to EVERY person in every area until you receive an email. Check it. Ohhh, now you can check in, so speak to the person at the hotel desk and check in. Head to your suite room thanks to that. (notice the hotel is suddenly filled with mafia women....I mean errr....nice women in black. XD) You won't be able to open it with the key you received(this place is really a shame) so pulse in, make your way into the room as Megaman, and open it from the inside. Obtain your ski gear and head outside. Make your way to Foodtopia (the place with all the yummeh food). You'll receive a 'mysterious' communication. Head to the front of the hotel and watch as a giant snow thing bomb outside inbetween the fountains.Go through the cut-scene (you'll meet a girl named Amy)and inspect it the rock-thingy.. Pulse in, remove all the rocks in the area by inspecting them and defeating the Snoroll viruses. (one in the Fountain area, some in Foodtopia 1) Now return to the lobby and speak to the mysterious boy you see (hello thar Solo<_<).Luna will head to her suite while Bud and Zack stay in the lobby. Follow Luna to her suite and watch the cutscene. Leave the room, get Bud's transmission, and walk back in. Talk to the Concierge thing. After that we need to pulse in and make your way to the laundry room (it can't be accessed normally but it's below the top floor. Explore and the wave roads and you'll find it (appearantly they don't want you to wash your clothes)), pulse out through the wave hole, speak to the woman, and receive a new Material Wave machine. Use your new machine on Bud and watch him as he attempts to impress Ai. He thenexclaims about a weird feeling inside of him... Dun dun dun...Now we gotta pulse in and defeat Taurus Fire. Bud will return to normaL (as much as he is). Head back to Luna's room and sleep on the sofa. Watch the cutscene with Mr. Dotcom, Yeti, and Hyde... Fascinating scheme... Head to Foodtopia and materialize your spiffy new skis. Go to both the ski lifts and watch the cutscene. Head to the top and from there, ski all the way back to Gourmet Town down the slopes. Watch as Yeti Blizzard kidnaps Amy and Bud. More people to save... Wave in and make your way up the mountain. When you come to an EM ball, you have to play a a ski mini-game. An SOS is a Mr Hertz. Collect the number you need before you get to the end. Trees will damage you and Snow Gorons will subtract your Hertz count, and probably kill your pride. Get to the peak and defeat Yeti Blizzard. Rescue Bud and Ai. Hyde will abandon Rich, allowing good old you know who from SF1 to arrest him. The day is saved. You now have the option of adding Bud to your Brother Band. Watch the cutscene with Hyde, Vega, Hollow, and Solo... O_o \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ /=====================\ | 9.C Finally, a Rival! | \=====================/ Well, to begin this chapter, your first mission is to...speak to everyone in Echo Ridge! After that, go inside Big Wave and talk to Ken Suther. Head out, wave in, and go back to Big Wave to save him. Defeat the three virus sets at Big Wave. Well, well, if it isn't Sonia Strumm! Go ahead and speak to her to get a date. Also at this point, you can go to Bunny Wave Roads 1 and fight Cancer Bubble after talking to Claud inside of Big Wave. Well, it's time to meet your date at Wilshire Hills. So, head to Wilshire Hills, and have a nice long talk to Sonia. Afterwards, make your way to TK Tower, which by the way you can go in now. After making it in, obtain a guide from the lady at the counter and materialize the guide program. Head to the Star Carrier exhibit and observe the cutscene. Afterwards, examine the rest of the exhibits and continue to examining everything until you get to the OOParts exhibit. After that happens, wave in and inspect the scroll nearby the OOParts exhibit to find a secret path. Make your way through the area, making sure to avoid holes that appear in the ground by pressing the buttons correctly. If you get caught in one, you'll end up in a different dimension. Head to the white hole in the dimension toleave. Encounter the eye enemy and then chase it to the OOParts exhibit. After this whole scenario, you'll be able to add Sonia to your Brother Band again and a bonus as to getting an edit-able extra folder. Since you're outside now, speak to Detective Copper and read the email you'll receive. Head to Wilshire Hills after reading it. Wave in and speak to the needy EM Life form on the Wave Roads who sent you the SOS. You are to fetch something for him, so head to IFL Tower 1. Wave out and inspect the on the far wall behind Sonia to turn the binocular's Wave World. After that, wave back in, then wave into the old binoculars and speak to the Mr. Hertz to receive your item. Afterwards, deliver it back to the needy EM Life form. Well now, take a rest by going back home and sleep. Head to Big Wave again and watch the cut-scene. After that, go after the eye enemies and stop their doing. Once again, you should avoid the holes by pressing buttons or else you'll fall into the freaky alternate dimension. After defeating those eyes, watch the scene with Solo, who shall be counted as your first rival in this series! So, it'now time to defeat his alter ego, Rogue. Well, to read his specifications go over to the Boss guide of this FAQ. Well, it seems as it would say that you have beaten him, but quite loss a huge amount of energy to defeat him. Luckily, you should watch as Rogue spares you... Before heading to the Prez's house, inspect the dog house near where you fought Rogue. Not forgetting to mention is to speak to the nearby repairman. You know the mission! Wave in to become Megaman and wave into the dog house. Spare the Mr. Hertz a D-Energy. Afterwards, wave out and talk to the man again to report it didn't really help. Now, you are able to head to Prez's place to talk to her. After the conversation is done, you may go home now. Enter your house to speak to your mother and then go to your room for a nap. Wake up to read Ken's email if you want. Head outside and watch the cutscene. Now what you should do is head all the way to Wilshire Hills and talk to Mr. Boreal. Then you should become Megaman, and enter the Shopping Plaza. So, make your way to the cinema and watch as the Dark Phantom summons an army of Murains. Try to make your way to him and Luna. Basically along the way, fight those many sets of Murians and Murian Gs. Omega-Xis will automatically defeat the last set on his own without Geo's help. It looks like there is the return of Queen Ophiucha. So, what you should do now is to defeat the memory of the Ophiuchus Queen. After that, do the Tribe Tutorial of Thunder Zerkrt/Fire Saurian/Wood Ninja and defeat the two Murian Gs. From here on out, your Star Carrier's color on the outside will match your corresponding Tribe. And so, you should just enjoy watching the scene with Dark Phantom and Hollow. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ /================================\ | 9.D Time to surf the Wave World! | \================================/ You'll start off by waking up from bed. Right now you should head for Luna's house. Looks like Zack is involved with Loch Mess… I know what you're thinking <_<. After a cut scene, go to the Big Wave chip shop and talk to Ken Suther (the owner)and watch him babble on. Following his talk, you'll receive an e-mail telling you to go to the hotel lobby. You know what that means right? Take a bus to Grizzly Peaks Resort ASAP! In the hotel you'll meet none other than…..your auto-brother! He/she will have the customizations you made in the beginning of the game. Anyway, he'll/she'll give you valuable info to help with your search and how you have to go to Netopia. That place sounds familiar. Not only that, but he/she will become your brother! Yay! Return to Echo Ridge and after the cut scene, go home and get some rest for tomorrow. The next day, exit your house and EM wave change. You'll be started with a batttle with Omega-Xis tutoring you on how to use the Double Tribe. Do so and continue on. Make your way to the top of Luna's house and examine the satellite dish. When you're ready, go to the Sky Waves! The Sky Waves can be confusing because of the many EM wave travel portal dashes, but it's not hard or impossible, so you should be fine.. Mess Village You'll then finally make to Mess Village! You know what's a mess? These names…>.< As I was saying, a cut scene will occur and then you'll gain control again. Talk to everyone in the village even though you cannot understand anything except the word: blah. You'll come across a man who is dressed in a safari suit. That would be Gerry Romero, A TV director. Talking to him will grant you a Translator. Now you can talk to everyone and ask about Zack! Find Bob Copper to learn about his business there. Next, there should be a man standing next to a weird glowing machine who'll trigger yet another cut scene when talked to. Go to the bridge and do what the Prez says about wave changing. Head for the bridge and talk to the Big Pink Hertz. Your objective is to get float shoes/240 from the lone hertz on the little island and trade with the pink hertz for HP+100/150. Do just that and pulse out, talk to Luna, then head for the observation deck and talk to everyone, examine everything. Leave and go to the village, Cut scene, then to Zack. There will be more cut scenes and then you should talk to Luna, and then headfor Messies' Cove. Speak with Zack once again, return to village, talk to Luna, cut scene, finally observation deck. Things are getting interesting! Time to go buck wild! Get the Diving Machine from the man from before because it's time to EM wave change! Use the machine to dive into the new area.. Loch Mess 1 In this area, you have to find the buried Mr.Hertz using the Y button while Omega-Xis tells you their location with hint pages using the L button. Here are the locations of the Mr.Hertz for this area: -By the sunken log raft -Near 2 starfish on the east side -Near a crown WARNING*Remember if you dig in the wrong place then you'll trigger a virus fight. Loch Mess 2 Here are the locations of the Mr.Hertz for this area: -The Center of 5 rocks near the east -Front of coral near a mermaid -Near toppled statue -Beneath a submarine -By a blocked cavern close to an octopus After that, talk to Zack, watch the cut scene, and prepare yourself for a boss fight! \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Plesio Surf Element- Aqua HP= 1200 Abilities: SuperArmor Attacks: Lightning Blazer (Elec): Plesio shoots an electric beam down a column Dodge – Step away from the blast Aqua Fang (Aqua): Plesio appears from underneath and attempts to bite you with a range of 2 panels. He may try to chain the bites in succession. [Breaks Shield] Dodge- Step away to safe panel Torrent Wave (Aqua): Plesio will lift his body up and crash onto the water creating a full 3 row tidal wave towards you. It will also sweep up the rocks on the field to try and break your shield. Dodge- Shield, but beware of rocks that will break Not too hard, avoid his sometimes unexpected attacks since he pops out of the water. Watch out for rocks in your path when he uses his Torrent Wave. Once you beat him and all that, become Zack's brother. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ /=============================\ | 9.E Anger of the Ancient god? | \=============================/ Well, wake up and you should get an e-mail afterwards. Read the email from Legend Master Shin about Best Combos/Legend Force if you want to. Then, you'll get a call about going over to Zack's place to discuss about finiding your other missing friends. After viewing the cut-scene, make your way to Big Wave and talk to Ken Suther about the Whazzap Village. Well, you're going to prepare what ever you need first for your big trip the day after. After you're done, go home and sleep. (At this point, you can now fight Kung Foo Kid by heading to Mess Village, talking to Kid Gruff, and then heading to the wave roads of Mess Bay). Well, start your day by going to the parabola antenna and use it to head to Sky Waves. After getting to Sky Waves, head to a new location, Whazzap. Whazzap is just passed the door near by the warp to Mess Village. Once you arrive at Whazzap, try speaking to everyone.. Afterwards, speak to the village shaman, who isn't hard to point out because of the way he dresses different from everyone else. Try speaking to everyone again and you'll activate a cutscene. Afterwards, head to the next area, Whazzap Line ruins, and look at all the geoglyphs on the ground. Weird and strange, huh? Don't forget to speak to everyone as well. Once you have done so, head back to Whazzap village to find a very shocking and weird appearance of Bud Bison! After the brief cut-scene, head back to Whazzap Lines and speak to Luna. You now need to gather food ingredients for your very large eating machine friend. >_> Start off by grabbing beef and rice by examining the beef offering as well as talking to the old villager in purple in Whazzap Village. Gather an egg off the nest from the top of a cliff in Whazzap Lines via waving in. You could find onions in the nearby patch by walking south of the group of villagers in Whazzap Village. Bring the ingredients back to Luna and receive the booking machine. Use it to make a beef bowl meal. Go back to the village square and watch the the surprising cutscene. Looks like it's time to save the trembling deciever from the troubling terror. Wave in and make your way to them. When you're there, have your rematch against Rogue. You'll actually beat him this time. He should be much easier now that you have Tribe/Double Tribe/Tribe King. After that, speak to Bud and the shaman. Wave in afterwards and speak to the Shaman again. After that's done, wave out, then talk to Luna, head to Whazzap Lines, and inspect the tent. From their, you're going to take a day's nap, whereas you don't save before napping. Looks like there's trouble afoot. Wave in from Whazzap Lines and go back to the village as Megaman, and then go to the sky waves to head back to the way home. Watch as another sucker, such as the shaman himself, falls to Hyde's temptation. Seeing as this entire village worships Mu, of course the shaman wants power from Mu.... Yes, take a long travel back to Echo Ridge's Sky Waves and watch the cutscene. Looks like Terra Condor has captured our friends before they could escape to Electopia (haven't seen this word in a while). Talk to the nearby Driverman to get the key to Whazzap Village. Well, return to Whazzap Village and wave out. Head to the nearby ruins. Wave in and enter the ruined temple. To progress, you need to escort red EM Life forms to specific destinations (the pedestals). Each EM Life forms goes to a SPECIFIC pedestal. As you lead the the Life form around, the condor enemy will attempt to attack you. Use the underground shelters to avoid being attacked by that heck of a condor enemy. In the second area, in the case of the twins and the triplets, you must gather all in the set before bringing them to their pedestals. Well, after you're done with that annoying mission of the game, defeat Terra Condor. Use the Boss guide to look up Terra Condor's specifications to see what he has up in his sleeves. He's rather easy to beat if you load yourself with fire chips or using Tribe Saurian (if you have that version) to beat the pointy beaked bird. Afterwards, watch Geo accepting the shaman's apology that's bound to happen. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ /=================================\ | 9.F Time to settle things, Rival! | \=================================/ Go to Bud's house. Head to Mess village Area via the Sky Waves. Getting to the Whazzap Village should be LOADs quicker now that you have the Whazzap Key. Use it on the gate as soon as you enter the Sky Waves and backtrack from Whazzap's sky waves. Watch the scene once you arrive. Speak to the camera man and then head to Messie Bay. Speak to the pilot nearby the entrance. Go back to the village and talk to Bob Copper. Afterwards, wave in. Head to the second lake area and retrieve the black box from the southern most area (underwater. You'll need the diving machine). Bring it back to the pilot. (You can see Plesio Surf EX down here too immediately to your left after entering the 2nd area) Borrow a projector from the cameraman and bring it to the pilot. Materialize it for him. Take the sky waves to Whazzap Sky Waves and on the east side, examine one of the security gates. It leads to Bermuda Maze's Sky waves. Take the warp and you'll have a cutscene with Harp Note and another one with Hyde, Hollow, and Vega. From there, you'll automatically be back in Echo Ridge. (If you didn't realize it...you lose your Brother Band with Sonia. Take the bus to Wilshire Hills. (it'll automatically be your destination) Examine the Air Display with Misora's face on it on the upper level. You'll stay until night....because you have nowhere to go really....Wave out before attempting to play hero and defeat all the Errand sets. Now try to fight Rogue EX. (you cannot harm him due to the weird barrier-thing from the indie proof. The battle ends after a few turns) Watch as Harp Note saves you from Rogue and Hollow. (If only you could beat here up now...) You'll be back in Echo Ridge. Head back to your place. Go to sleep. Wow, so Harp Note appears to be against us, then she saves us, and now she's talking to Hollow about getting your OOParts. Geeez. Head outside the next morning and watch the scene. Awwww, your friends want to support you. Even War Rock...how nice. Now if only the 3 musketeers would actually do something... Head to the Bermuda Maze via Sky Wave area. Oh, NOW fight Harp Note. Reinstall Sonia to your Brother Band. Continue to the weird Labyrinth -thingy as you fight your way through the maze. Follow the ghost (though sometimes you'll have to guess on your own). If you make a mistake, you have to battle three sets of viruses in a row (Oh joy). Get to the end of the maze. (This is going to be reallly long) Harp Note and the ghosts will give good hints. Try to avoid guessing with the EM Ghost and stars in the air display become some of them will actually lie to you. If you really need help... Note: Remember that down-left does not mean go to the down portal, then left portal. The maze is not a + cross, it is an X cross. It basically means that down-left is the same as saying going southwest. Think of the maze as the diagonals of a compass. From the beginning: 1. down-left 2. up-left 3. up-left 4. up-left 5. up-right 6. down-right 7. down-right 8. up-right 9. up-left 10. up-right 11. up-left 12. down-left 13. down-left 14. down-left 15. up-left 16. down-left 17. up-left 18. up-right 19. up-left Feel special? That was the most LONG and ANNOYING part of the game. Now go beat up Hollow. LONG cutscene sequence afterwards. Head back to the area after Rogue boots you and watch more cutscenes... Now for the not-so-green fighting machine in EX. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ /=====================================\ | 9.G The Beginning of a terrible End?! | \=====================================/ Well, welcome back to your house. You were said to be dragging yourself and a girl back to Echo Ridge and presumable passed out. Well, you have to go watch some TV with Luna. You turn it on to find a terroristic message broadcasting on television hosted by Vega herself. You get the drills, head outside, wave in, and proceed to the Sky Waves. Make your way to the deep Bermuda Maze. It's deadly virus battle time! There are four sets of G viruses in this battle, be prepared and take cautions. After that, proceed to escaping from the alternate dimension. You'll find yourself in Wilshire Hills. Watch as Mu returns and made a giant hole to mother Earth. There is absolutely nothing in your power you could do for today. Go home and sleep. Then, just watch as Vega releases Le Mu. Copies of Murians, Phantom, Yeti, Plesio, and Condor run wild for terror! The next day, you'll Wake up and head outside to find out it's the UMA attack invasion! Wave in. You automatically take care of defeating the UMAs. Afterwards, try to examine one person's Star Carrier. Notice that their Link Power is suddenly at 0. Wave out and head to Luna's house. Watch the the cut-scene. Boreal will send you an email. Read it to accept your UMA Giga card (Phantom Slash for Saurian version, Flying Impact for Ninja version, and Avalanche for Zerker version). Head outside, wave in, and head for the Sky Waves...AGAIN. Make your way to the Bermuda Maze. From the beginning of Bermuda Maze, take these directions (the ghost life form will tell you them): 1. up-right 2. down-right 3. down-left 4. up-right 5. up-left After that, take the warp to Great Sky Platforms. You'll encounter Dark Phantom EX so, defeat him and watch the cut-scene with Rogue and Hollow. Hyde now faces his fate as nothing but a mere disposable pawn. Leave him be and head on to the next area. Welcome to the world (or should I say continent) of Mu. Okay, I'll explain this once. In each area, you need to find four panels. Examine each panel to get an image. You'll also get a key item that's got the picture attached in case you forget. Anyways, these pictures are the hieroglyphics of the Mu language and the items are labeled with their pronunciations. Each door requires you to draw the symbols in a certain order from left to right. (While gathering the items, Murians will chase you around the map. If you get caught by one, you have three seconds to draw the symbol on their chest. If you fail, you'll have to fight a set of various Murian Gs.) Okay the first door to getting closer to Le Mu. (NOTE: Of course we can't have pictures, but I linked the picture to see how they would all look like. THESE ARE ALL IN ORDER!!!) http://www.theundersquare.com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/1.gif http://www.theundersquare.com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/2.gif http://www.theundersquare.com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/3.gif http://www.theundersquare.com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/4.gif After unlocking the door, proceed to fight Yeti Blizzard EX. Advance forward and do the annoying mission of getting all those keys for the next door. After doing so, here's the pics on how each panel should be: http://www.theundersquare.com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/5.gif http://www.theundersquare..com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/6.gif http://www.theundersquare.com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/7.gif http://www.theundersquare.com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/8.gif Plesio Surf EX will await you. Kick the mythical tale out of him to prove the denial of his existence! Proceed into getting the other keys. Here are another patch of pics on how the panels should be: |--------------| |/ +| | / +| | / +| (This is the one I made myself since the other link was | / +| missing a line.) | /========+| | \ +| | \ +| (So what should be count as the lines are the slashes, | \ +| equal signs, and the plus sign.) |\ +| |______________| http://www.theundersquare.com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/10.gif http://www.theundersquare.com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/11.gif http://www.theundersquare.com/guides/shooting_star_rockman_2_visual/12.gif After unlocking that door, you will fight Terra Condor EX. Defeat him then go on. Until you reach that long cut-scene of you with Rogue and Hollow, try saving at that point, or maybe you don't have to since you're going to be automatically asked to save before entering the next area. After that, prepare for battle against Le Mu. A deadly boss to defeat. What's helpful with the battle is having the Tribe King form. After defeating him, you will learn about the past and truth of Hollow and Vega. After that, just watch the ending cut-scene and enjoy for now. ******************************************************************************** *--------------------------------* | | | | | 10. SECRETS, or Chapter 8 | | | | | *________________________________* Well, welcome to the SECRETS section. This section will mostly explain the after story of the main story.....or so I would say. On the side note, here are some updates of what you can do now: - Meet Pat and fight off Gemini Spark. Pat wll be located at Whazzap Ruins Area One and he'll be at the pedestial on the right of the area. Talk to him and Gemini Spark will be available in Whazzap Ruins Area 2 of the Wave World. They will be at the wave road of a dead end before reaching the shrine of the area. - You get the chance of now sidequesting your 4 in-game Brothers. Get the chance of pulling the highest Link Power off. - You get the chance of entering the Secret Areas of this game, also to fight bigger and badder bosses. Any case, you'll be back to where you were, but trying pulsing out. After pulsing out, you find a mysterious e-mail delivered to you. It says something and something about a present in Vega's hideout. Well, the hideout can be reached through the Bermuda Maze. I'd love to explain it all on how to get their, but why don't you all just take a step back to Chapter 7.G to see the directions. Assuming you all would already reach there, just step into the portal to find you're there. Go ahead and pick up the dark mysterious item. Before you leave the place, go check up on the wall to the left of the room and find something really special. Yay another Indie Frag! Anyway, pulse out from there and you should be by the satellite dish again. Watch as a cut scene occurs. Before you go through that crazy portal, be sure to save and prepare yourself for what is ahead. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Taurus Fire IF HP=3200 Element: Fire Abilities: SuperArmor Yup! Before you even do anything, a cut scene happens, and you have to deal with a boss fight. Great…<_< Taurus Fire IF is basically the same Taurus Fire, but he is faster, stronger, and has more HP. IF forms are harder than their HP form, so get ready for a challenge. Look at Taurus Fire if you want to know more about this bad cow. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After beating him, the Mr. Hertz will tell you all about this new world you're in. Now you're in the... ALTERNATE FUTURE DIMENSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh no! I feel like I'm in an episode of the Twilight Zone! Looks like the world has been wiped out of all of its inhabitants and its new ruler is Bass...NOT!! It's Apollo Flame! WARNING*The viruses here are strong and most of them are in their final form. It's a good place to get some cards for your library. All you have to do to proceed is...cross the streets to the other side and enter the portal...but before you do that, inspect Bud's dog house for...another Indie Frag! Trans. Dimension 1 Before you proceed, prepare yourself for a cut scene and... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dark Phantom IF HP=2200 Element: None Abilites: Floatshoes Kill his ugly face like all the other times.... DUM-DUM-DUMMMMMMMMMMM You heard me alright; you have to beat all of them by going through an excerpt of their stage. And what is Mega man game without portals leading each to a different boss! It's a mega man tradition for crying out loud! But before you go through a time-consuming death seizure, find the ghost fellow to the left of the entrance portal. He'll sell you some things including HP memories, cards, and another Giga card for 50000 zennys! Zerker-Gemini Thunder Saurian-Taurus Tackle Ninja- Gorgon's Eye So just step into a portal make your way through the boss. The location of the boss is pretty easy to find, it is usually obvious such as a large platform or the place you fought them in the story. The only hard part is getting there. I'm not going to tell you about this part since it's pretty much self-explanatory, but I will tell you which portal leads to whom. Yeti Blizzard Gemini Spark Queen Ophiuca Cancer Bubble Portal to 2nd floor Plesio Surf Harp Note Terra Condor Entrance You’ll notice gates too, those will open once you beat specific bosses, so basically once you beat all of them, and you may open all gates. *Notice-In Queen Ophiuca’s stage there is a merchant who sells star cards depending on what card you show him. He’ll ask you to input a command code which you can obtain through the wave command cards. -There is a dying Mr. Hertz in Harp Note’s stage, if you talk to him; he’ll use his last strength to give you Solo’s Wallpaper. Be cautious and you should beat him! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You defeated the ruler! Yeah!
