Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is likely to be quite the crossover event of 2011, and will feature basically every relevant character from both the Marvel and Capcom universes. The roster looks promising with over forty characters in total, and more to be added via DLC. Confirmed characters include Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor from the Marvel universe, and Amaterasu, Chris Redfield, and Albert Wesker from the Capcom side.

Though plenty of favorite characters are returning to the franchise for its third entry, one thing that is changing is the game's visual style, which substitutes the second entry's signature sprites with 3D models. However, the game will still feature cooperative play and team-based 3-on-3 matches for maximum epic matchup potential. Check out the full preview here!

We couldn't go another year without a Street Fighter IV remake, could we? Although this time around, the series is heading to the brand-new Nintendo 3DS hardware, and Street Fighter IV will be coming at you in a whole new dimension. However, this port of last year's "Super" edition is not going to get the downsizing you might expect for a handheld version of such a massive fighter.

In addition to including all thirty-five members of Super Street Fighter IV's original roster, the 3DS version will also include a new trophy system, swappable in-game collectibles, and a new "over-the-shoulder" play method. The game has also been confirmed to support local multiplayer matches that can be accessed using an internal "StreetPass" system.
