WWE All-Stars isn't the only giant genre mashup for the year. The folks at Capcom have announced that Street Fighter X Tekken, a crossover fighter done in the style of Street Fighter IV with Tekken characters, will be arriving in 2011. The game's visual look will borrow heavily from Street Fighter IV's calligraphy-stylized visuals and will also use a fighting system that will rely on precision control rather than crazy combos (like Tekken).
Of course this is not to be confused with Tekken X Street Fighter, which is being developed by Namco, and will feature Street Fighter IV characters in a Tekken -style game. That title hasn't been confirmed for 2011 yet. But one thing is for sure: Capcom has a fever...and the only cure is more crossovers!

Not content with two Legends of Wrestlemania titles, THQ is planning yet another "event" title that will combine the biggest stars that WWE has to offer with a more easygoing arcade-style format that features wrestlers from every era of WWE history. The gameplay format will make this title accessible to casual fans of the WWE franchise, and should also be a nostalgic trip down memory lane for those who remember when wrestling characters wore neon colors and had ridiculous hairstyles.
To help facilitate this break with the main SmackDown vs. Raw series, this mash-up title will have a completely reworked visual style that features "cartoony" wrestler character models that look more like action figures than sweaty muscle-clad athletes. Confirmed wrestlers for WWE All-Stars include John Cena, The Rock, Andre the Giant, and Bret Hart.
