Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag takes us to the high seas in a way that will set the standard for this genre. OK, well maybe there isn’t actually a pirate-adventure genre just yet, but this game proves there should be. The gameplay is intuitive and smart, allowing you to think like a pirate. You can decide which ships are worth plundering (and which aren’t worth the gunpowder) while making alliances with real historical figures like the Templars. You won’t find a more entertaining open-world feel in the franchise than the open seas of Black Flag.
