There is nothing better than an 80s throw-back shooter that is completely self-aware. If Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon sounds like a hokey sci-fi action flick from the days of big hair and parachute pants, it’s because that was its intent! Released as a standalone expansion to Far Cry 3 from 2012, Blood Dragon gives you everything you loved from the previous installment, with a rad 80s flair! Totally boss dude!

Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep
Borderlands 2 has enjoyed its fair share of great DLC. However, anyone who’s played it will admit, there’s nothing quite like Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, now is there? Dropping you inside a D&D style table-top game (narrated by Game Master Tiny Tina herself), we’re treated to a fantasy twist featuring orcs, dragons and tree Ents (although not actually called that, they’re clearly a nod to Tolkien). It’s easy to see how this fun little expansion was met with almost universal praise. A recommended buy.
