Ever since we first saw the reveal footage of Far Cry 4 at this year’s E3, we’ve been intrigued. Everything it has to offer, from the snowcapped peaks of Kyrat to its indigenous wildlife (I’m talkin’ honest to goodness lions, tigers and bears here people) sets the stage for an over-the-top thrill ride which immediately kicks into high gear and doesn’t slow ‘till the end-credits roll.

You have to admit; one look at characters like Oddsock, Sackboy and Swoop causes an uncontrollable need to grab a DualShock controller and play with them for hours on end! Only by working as a well-oiled machine (switching off between characters multiple times through a single level) will players be able to traverse the complex platforms and pathways needed to navigate the stage. Sometimes it becomes much like a rigorous routine of patting your head and rubbing your stomach simultaneously, but in the most fun way imaginable! Also, it’s worth noting many of the restrictions found in previous iterations of the level editor have been removed, thus allowing for a much broader sense of freedom when creating.
