Ready to shape the world? Civilization VI will let you do it. It’s once again time to create and maintain an empire. You begin by choosing from one of 19 possible civilizations to control, each with their own unique ability, unit, and infrastructure. You then set out to take over the world, hopefully winning with a culture, domination, religious, science, or time/score victory.
You’ll need to take extra care this time to watch your cities. Instead of being one-tile areas, they can expand across multiple districts. Each tile can add to housing metrics, improve happiness, and offer the opportunity to choose what builds do and don’t appear there. Wonders, similarly, now sit on their own tiles. Researching works quicker, since meeting Eureka conditions could help you develop technologies faster due to experiences you’ve had. You can customize your government’s structures by mixing and matching the policies you like best. Also, you have immediate access to both espionage and religion without needing to get expansions. Best of all, the dulcet tones of Sean Bean accompany you every step of the way with a wonderful narration.
