Classics never die. When you have a great game or toy, it keeps coming back and pulling you into the action. Especially when it’s also helping you build pattern recognition and memory skills. On that note, who’s ready to play Simon again? Because the color-matching game is back.
In case you missed it, here’s how Simon works. It’s basically an electronic version of Simon Says. A color lights up and makes a noise. You press the button corresponding to that color and noise. The color lights up and makes that noise again, then follows with a second color/noise. You keep going for as long as you can. There are three built-in memory games to choose from, and I guarantee they’re more difficult than you remember. I recommend going a few rounds in Simon, then heading into Space Channel 5 so you can see how the lessons you learn apply to other mediums.
