Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe got some serious attention at this year's Comic-Con including new character announcements and an updated demo build as well as a dedicated panel. New character reveals included Joker, The Green Lantern, Liu Kang, and Kitana.
The team also went behind some of the new gameplay mechanics and showed off some signature character moves. The team also confirmed that the game is only coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360, much to the chagrin of Wii and PS2 owners who were hoping for a port.
Manga on Wii
It was announced that Japanese Wii owners would be able to subscribe to their favorite Manga serials via a new Wii Channel. Although this was somewhat of a low-key announcement, many fans are excited for the potential uses for this new application in the US. Could an online delivery service be on the way for American comics or even the American Jump serials? Hopefully!
All in all, it was a pretty jam-packed event and featured quite a lot of new and exciting announcements, despite the fact that it followed the "big act" of E3. And who knows, perhaps the Comic-Con will be the next big event for gamers, and more companies will get involved as the years go on! But speculation aside, that's all for now. Time to start waiting for next year's Comic-Con!
