DC: Donny Clay - Producer of Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit
CCC: Cheat Code Central
CCC: 7. Will there be any real differences between the Japanese and the American localization?
No, the scripts are almost identical. Of course, if you know Japanese you could switch the dialogue over and translate it since all the Japanese voice-overs are in the game as well!
CCC: 8. DBZ Burst Limit marks the DBZ series' first foray into online gaming. What can we expect to see in the online modes?
We will be revealing that shortly, I can't reveal too much at this time, but I can say that fans should stay tuned. ☺
CCC: 9. The DBZ series has been around for quite a long time. To what would you attribute the series' longevity?
Our fan base has just been so supportive over the years - it's such a great concept for entertainment.
CCC: 10. Will there be any differences between the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions?
No, we wanted to make sure everyone got to see everything the game has to offer no matter what system they choose to play it on.
CCC: 11. Is there anything you would like to tell the fans who have been playing all the last generation DBZ brawlers?
This one cannot be missed.
CCC: 12. Can you give us the inside scoop on any secret unlockables, tips, hints or cheats?
Well there are a ton of unlockable drama pieces (they help during fights) for each character buried all over the place in the game. Also, you start with three characters open initially so you need work to get the rest unlocked as well, and there is no easy way to do it, like by entering a code or something. You have to unlock everything the old-fashioned way: by earning it!
As for hints: Start working on your reflex and timing skills now and you'll have a leg up on the competition! All the counters and teleports are all timing-based so you have to be fast if you want to succeed. The better you get at it the better the fights become.
Many thanks to the producer of DRAGON BALL Z for giving us the inside track on DragonBall Z: Burst Limit. Whether you've been a fan of the series ever since the 90s are just getting into it, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit looks like it will satisfy both fans of brawlers and fans of the series. This title looks to be the best entry in the highly successful DRAGON BALL Z franchise yet, and we can't wait for its release this June!
