CCC: Will you get to use more weapons than in the first Ninja Gaiden?
TI: Yes, and this game actually encourages it, unlike the first. There will be eight main weapons that have all been tweaked to have their own strengths and weaknesses.
CCC: Team Ninja is known for pushing systems to their limits. What have you done to push the Xbox 360 to its limits in this game?
TI: Because this game has been developed for the 360, we were able to implement a number of core gameplay elements that just weren't possible previously. The adaptive A.I., the dismembering, all the blood and different animations, the feel of the weapons, and the in-engine cutscenes are good examples.
CCC: Was the Ninja Cinema feature in this game influenced at all by the Halo 3 video recording capabilities?
Well, I suppose it has had an indirect influence on us. Many fans of the Halo series are also fans of the Ninja Gaiden series so we wanted to give them this ability. We have also been doing replays in the D.O.A. franchise for a long time now and thought it would translate well into this series.
CCC: Are there any plans for downloadable content?
TI: Right now we have a few downloadable costume packs planned for the game. Also, since all of the game's cinematics are in-engine, when you change your character's outfit he will appear that way in the cinemas as well.
CCC: That being said, are their any plans of releasing a demo for the game?
TI: Yes, we do plan on having a demo but we don't have a date for it yet.
CCC: Do you have any cheats, secrets, or strategies that you can share about the game?
TI: Not yet. Finding them yourself is most of the fun.
