3. What's your #1 character in SSB Brawl and why?
My number one character has always been Kirby. He is the most versatile of all the characters, and his power-cloning abilities are not only cute, they're also effective!
- Amanda L. Kondolojy
Though I am a fan of practically every new character in Brawl, my favorite brawler would have to be Pit. Flight, two sweet daggers, and some interesting bow tricks definitely make him my fighter of choice.
- Branden Barrett
It's got to be Mario. His coin-laden uppercut and his jumping abilities are awesome.
- Jonathan Marx
Probably Pit, firstly because he's just so cool. But in addition, he's got a nice smash and good aerials; he's a well-rounded character, and he's got an incredible recover -- oh, and did I mention that he's an angel?
- Joseph Catalanotto
Mario is my favorite; the coin sound you hear when using one of his special attacks is very satisfying. I also enjoyed most sword-wielding characters, although Link is my favorite of those.
- Maria Montoro
R.O.B. is the best. A fighting robot based on a clunky and pointless Nintendo peripheral of ages past…hell yeah!
- Nathan Meunier
Mr. Game & Watch; the quirky 2-D character is flat-out the man. His deceptive skills play right into my strategy.
- Tom Kelly

4. What's your favorite control style: Wii remote and Nunchuk, just Wii remote, GameCube controller, or Classic Controller?
My favorite control style when I first started playing was the GameCube controller, just because it felt so familiar. However, as I began to try out the different styles, I found the Wii-mote and Nunchuk configuration to be fairly good as well.
- Amanda L. Kondolojy
Well, in my eyes, there really is only one controller option and it happens to be for Nintendo's last console. The Wii remote and Classic Controller are just a tad too awkward for my taste, but the GameCube's button placement and comfortable feel make it a must have.
- Branden Barrett
I like the original GameCube control for this game, though I haven't tried the classic.
- Devin Finley
The Wii remote and Nunchuk style was my favorite. It makes gameplay like Melee without actually being Melee.
- Jonathan Marx
GameCube controller for me. I've actually tried out all the control schemes, and to me the GameCube configuration is just more natural (probably from several years of playing Melee, admittedly).
- Joseph Catalanotto
Wii Remote and Nunchuk together work the best, no doubt. The ability to choose different buttons for each action makes it just perfect, and the separate controllers give you more freedom. The GameCube controller is my second choice.
- Maria Montoro
Giving plays a few control choices was a great move. The simplicity of the single Wii Remote control scheme is great for beginners and veterans alike. Who needs blocking anyway?
- Nathan Meunier
Suffice to say, after giving the classic controller its fair shake, I was out searching for a GameCube stick the next day.
