7. Would you have used a headset to communicate with your friends if that was an option?
I probably would have used a headset if the option was available, but I can't say I miss it all that much. I'm fairly sure that most people would have been the trash-talking sort, and I can honestly see how that would be a concern for Nintendo.
- Amanda L. Kondolojy
Unfortunately, most of my friends do not own a Wii, so naturally very few of them would own the headset. So I'll go with the "no" option, seeing as how I wouldn't like cocky ten year-olds screaming in my ear all day.
- Branden Barrett
Not likely. Communicating at home with a player is one thing, but this isn't an online communicative game.
- Devin Finley
Definitely, yes! Verbal sparring with online competitors and friends just accentuates the overall experience.
- Jonathan Marx
Most definitely. In fact, the lack of a headset is one of the few minor grievances that I have with Brawl.
- Joseph Catalanotto
I sure would! They left us with the option of holding the phone in the shoulder while we play, which is not as nice. I love teasing my friends, and if I can't talk to them, the game is just not the same.
- Maria Montoro
Not for a game like SSBB. Surely, nothing pleasant would come out of my mouth.

8. When is your next Super Smash Bros. Brawl get-together? Have you planned one already or do you think you'll mostly just play the game by yourself?
We had a Smash Bros. get-together on launch day, and are tentatively scheduling Super Smash Sundays at my house. While I do plan on playing solo, I definitely enjoy playing with friends and family more than playing by myself.
- Amanda L. Kondolojy
As mentioned earlier, I'm mostly going to be playing by myself or online. Maybe I can convince one of my Xbox loving friends to go pick one up.
- Branden Barrett
It's a great multiplayer game; I enjoy playing it a bit every time anyone comes over.
- Devin Finley
I think I'll mostly play with my friends and family when they randomly come over. I don't plan on hosting any Brawl get-togethers.
- Jonathan Marx
I've got a bunch of friends coming over this weekend, so we'll play a ton then. Brawl is a game that thrives when played with others, so I'll likely spend most of my time with the title playing with my family and friends.
- Joseph Catalanotto
I played so much the first few days that now everyone is tired of the game. I'll have to wait for a while, and then I'm sure I'll get to play it again with family and friends that come over.
- Maria Montoro
Pummeling pals if fun, but flying solo is equally satisfying. Also, the computer doesn't get ticked off when you pound them into the ground.
- Nathan Meunier
Sadly, most of my friends live nowhere near me, and believe me, I miss the charm of hanging out with three buddies and smashing it up. Alas, I will have to set something up online as soon as humanly possible.
