Top 10 Video Game Lookalikes

Everybody comes from somewhere. Sounds simple enough, but in the realm of video games, it can be easy to lose sight of the fact that even our most fantastical characters are rooted in reality, at least in some respects. To prove this, we've compiled some of the more uncanny game-to-reality lookalikes we could find, some maybe intentional, some not so much. Enjoy.

Max Payne and Walter White

Starting with our most recent doppelgangers, Max and Walter are two dudes who both got a bad shake in life. While Max turns to a life of alcoholism and pill-popping after losing his wife, daughter, and later girlfriend in the line of detective duty, Breaking Bad's Walter White (played by actor Bryan Cranston) turns to a life of meth-dealing and violence after learning he has lung cancer and needs to financially support his family for his eventual death. When Max Payne 3 was released earlier this year, fans were quick to note the striking similarities between the newly bald Max and the popular antihero, and it's hard to disagree with them.

Team Fortress 2 Medic and Stephen Colbert

One of the more popular game lookalikes in recent memory, the Medic and Stephen Colbert are both healers, albeit in different ways. While Team Fortress 2's bespectacled man of medicine can be seen supporting wounded soldiers across the battlefield, the TV host and comedian Colbert brings laughter to the often-ridiculous ways of our world through his Emmy-nominated political satire show, The Colbert Report.

Here's a case of two lookalikes that are pretty distinct from one another in reality. While the Punch-Out series' Doc Louis can be seen always pushing his trainee, Little Mac, towards heavyweight gold, The Office's Stanley Hudson (played by actor Leslie David Baker) can always be counted on to make a perfectly timed sarcastic quip at the expense of some of his more foolish workmates.
