Where
Can You Find The UFC?
The
UFC can be found on Spike TV in a variety of
different programming. If you are new to the
UFC, check out UFC Unleashed where the best
fights from the UFC archives will introduce
you to many fighters, past and present.
Ultimate
Fight Night is also a great way to meet the
UFC fighters when they meet to duke it out on
television. Ultimate Fight Night doesn't show
the main fights. In order to see the main UFC
fights, you will need to order them on Pay Per
View.

Yet,
our favorite is The Ultimate Fighter reality
show. If you haven't gotten into reality TV
yet, we suggest that you check it out Monday
nights at 10 PM EST. The new season starts on
April 6 and is sure to bring you all the drama
of other reality shows along with some really
cool fighting. The show brings a bunch of top
fighters and puts them together in one house
where they train on two separate teams and come
together to compete in challenges. Each show
features a fight where the loser is eliminated.
The coaches are top UFC fighters. In the past,
Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, Rich Franklin,
and Matt Hughes have all whipped these amateur
fighters into UFC-ready beasts. This season
features Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock as the
coaches. These coaches alone are sure to bring
some tension. Both are excellent fighters known
for their attitudes.

Tito
Ortiz is a great fighter with an attitude that
creates plenty of tension between himself and
others. He made his UFC debut in 1999 and has
been fighting hard ever since. He won the UFC
middleweight belt in 2000, but lost his belt
to Randy Couture in 2003. In 2002, Tito fought
against Ken Shamrock and won by technical knock
out in the third round.
Ken
Shamrock is a UFC legend who has been fighting
in the UFC since 1993. He has fought against
legendary fighters like Dan Severn and Royce
Gracie.
Both
men have intense tempers and a will to win.
Ortiz feels that he finds strength in those
who don't like him.
"My
fans motivate me of course because they are
always there win or lose. But the people who
talk smack and say I'm not a true champion or
that I'm afraid of other fighters are the people
who I'm here to prove wrong. I'll prove them
wrong and show them the true champion that I
really am," Ortiz stated.
Be
sure to check the show out later this week.
