Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell 6'2"/226 lbs. Birthplace: Santa Barbara, CA Fighting out of: San Luis Obispo, CA Weight Class: Light Heavyweight Professional MMA Record: 17-3-0 Chuck Liddell currently holds the light heavyweight belt. This powerful striker has defeated such powerful fighters as Renato Sobral and Tito Ortiz. His most recent fight was defending his belt against the former champion, Randy Couture. This was the third fight between Couture and Liddell. Couture beat Liddell in the first fight to take the belt from him. In the second fight, Liddell was the first man to ever knock Couture out to take the belt back. The third title fight allowed Liddell to solidify his place as the champion.

Randy "The Natural" Couture 6'2"/205 lbs. Birthplace: Everett, Washington Fighting out of: Las Vegas, NV Weight Class: Light Heavyweight Professional MMA Record: 14-7 Randy Couture is one of the greatest fighters that the UFC has ever seen. Couture is the only fighter to hold the belt in two weight classes, heavyweight and light heavyweight. Forty-two year-old Couture has fought in the UFC since 1997. He has won the respect of many by defeating opponents like Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, and Vito Belfor. After losing for the second time to the current belt holder, Chuck Liddell, Couture retired from the UFC. Yet, he left a great legend behind him.

Matt Hughes 5'9"/169 lbs. Birthplace: Hillsboro, IL Fighting out of: Hillsboro, IL Weight Class: Welterweight Professional MMA Record: 40-4-0 Matt Hughes is currently one of the biggest celebrities the UFC has and holds the title of welterweight champion. Hughes is extremely strong and an excellent wrestler. He has beaten great fighters including Joe Riggs, Frank Trigg, and George St. Pierre. His next fight is against UFC legend Royce Gracie. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu has launched many fighters into the UFC. Hughes is a true warrior though. His fight against Gracie hasn't phased his unwavering confidence. "I don't think it's a big thing. I'm fighting an opponent. His last name's Gracie, but that's not a big deal to me. I don't think it's anything special," Hughes commented when asked about the fight. "What's the big hype? It's an opponent; that's all it is."

Rich "Ace" Franklin 6'1"/185 lbs. Birthplace: Cincinnati, OH Fighting out of: Cincinnati, OH Weight Class: Middleweight Professional MMA Record: 21-1-0 Rich Franklin currently holds the belt in the middleweight class. Franklin dominates his weight class with his excellent freestyle fighting skills and determination. He has battled against fighters like Evan Tanner and Ken Shamrock. Before Franklin was a professional fighter, he was a high school math teacher.

Andrei "Pit Bull" Arlovski 6'4"/240 lbs. Birthplace: Belarus, Belarus Fighting out of: Chicago, IL Weight Class: Heavyweight Professional MMA Record: 11-3-0 Andrei Arlovski is the current heavyweight champion after beating Tim Sylvia in February of 2005. Arlovski has been fighting in the UFC since 2000 and is an excellent striker and grappler. He is set to defend his title against Tim Sylvia in UFC 59 on April 15.
