Dr. Mario & Bacteria Extermination
Developer: Arika
Release: TBA 2008
Remember Dr. Mario? He may have been left out of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but he's coming back in his very own WiiWare title. It will feature the classic pill-stacking Dr. Mario gameplay, as well as incorporate the lesser known Virus Buster game from the Brain Age series as well. Both of these components of the game will incorporate Wii motion sensing functionality. Dr. Mario & Bacteria Extermination will also feature Mii support as well as online multiplayer functionality.

Defend your Castle
Developer: XGen Studios
Release: May 12, 2008
Defend Your Castle is a game with a very simple premise. You have to defend your castle from invaders. You can pick up enemies and throw them, or dispatch them the good ol' fashioned way with a vast array of weaponry. It was originally a PC flash game, but is now being optimized to be the #1 castle-defending WiiWare title ever!

Everyone's Pokémon Ranch
Developer: Ambrella
Release: May 12, 2008
Of course it wouldn't be a Nintendo launch without the accompanying Pokémon game. The premise of Everyone's Pokémon Ranch is pretty simple: you have a big ranch where a woman named Yukari takes care of your Pokémon. The real draw here is for people who own Pokémon Diamond and Pearl who can transfer up to twenty of their Pokémon per day into the game. Yukari will also make requests for certain Pokémon and help you complete your Diamond and Pearl Pokedex through trading and helpful hints.

Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People
Developer: Telltale Games
Release: Q3 2008
From the developers behind the acclaimed episodic series Sam & Max, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People marks any console's foray into the world of downloadable content. And while this series is already available in PC form, I can't help but hope that there might be a little extra content in the WiiWare version.
