Why You Should: Be Excited for the Fall 2011 Gaming Season

1. No Music Games!

Generally, every year there is at least one new game that everyone is sure is going to be a flop. In recent years, the music genre has taken the brunt of gamers' ire during the fall, as games like DJ Hero 2 and Rock Band 3 have failed to shift units in the fall season, leading to the deaths of their respective series. This year, however, there doesn't seem to be a clear loser among the crowd of fall games. While not every game will suit every taste, there's enough diversity this fall that every game should reach its target audience. Which is exciting indeed.

In fact, we'll be lucky to be done with all these games by the time next fall comes around!
