October 12, 2005 - BIG NOTE ABOUT MAP CARDS IN FAQ! CURRENT VERSION: 2.0 ========================================================================== |Frequently Asked Questions FAQ| ========================================================================== Q: I'm getting "You do not have enough CP" at the Review Deck screen. What can I do? A: CP is your Card Points. Placing cards in a deck take up card points. If you don't have enough, you can't use all of the selected cards. You can view your CP in the window of the deck you're using. It is displayed as follows: CP [Amount used] / [Max CP] You can get more CP by leveling up and choosing to upgrade your CP. Q: How do I beat [insert name]? A: I just reccomend using the Sleights I listed and leveling up some more. Q: I can't find [insert map card]! What do I do? A: Just keep fighting and it'll eventually be dropped. NOTE UPDATE: You can hold up to 99 map cards. If you have that amount, you must discard some before you get anymore from battle. Q: I can't get a Key to Rewards card. Where are they? A: This is dropped randomly by defeated enemies. Q: Add [insert something] to your guide? A: I'll think about it. Q: I can't seem to get a Blue 1 card I need for the last door in Castle Oblivion, can you help? A: Sadly, you can only keep fighting and hoping an enemy will drop one. NOTE UPDATE: You can hold up to 99 map cards. If you have that amount, you must discard some before you get anymore from battle. Q: Do you have some special tips? A: Thanks to Julien Kwan (but rewrote by me), I do: TIP #1 - As far as I know, the Key to Rewards map card is only dropped from Floor 7 and above. (This is only for Sora's story.) TIP #2 - If you like using your new cards in your deck, then when leveling up, get CP twice, then HP, and keep alternating. Like so... LEVEL 2>CP - LEVEL 3>CP - LEVEL 4>HP - LEVEL 5>CP and so on. TIP #3 - For the fourth (I believe) fight with Dark Riku, put high numbered attack cards and some 0 cards in your deck. Use the 0 cards as backups to Card Break his Sleights like Dark Aura. TIP #4 - For bosses, use mainly high numbered cards and 0 cards. TIP #5 - In Castle Oblivion for the final time, its best to make Room 15 (according to my guide) into a Save Room. (Sora's story only) TIP #6 - As a general tip, before the fight with Marluxia, try going back and recreating rooms and continuing your fights. Try your hardest to level up and max out your HP and get all the Sleights. (Sora's story only) ========================================================================== |Walkthrough Guide WBG| ========================================================================== Here is what you've been waiting for, the guide itself. This guide will try to explain the story as best as I can as we go along. Now, let's begin! Don't get confused by the way I say doors are placed: Left Door = Northwest Door Top Door = Northeast Door Right Door = Southeast Door Bottom Door = Southwest Door &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& NOTE: THE CARD VALUES AND COLORS FOR THE SYNTHESIZATION OF DOORS MAY NOT BE THE SAME AS THE ONES IN YOUR GAME, I'M JUST WRITING DOWN THE NUMBERS AND COLORS THAT APPEARED IN MINE. &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& ||-WARNING WARNING WARNING-|| || THERE WILL BE SPOILERS! || ||-WARNING WARNING WARNING-|| -------- After the opening scene, we find our heros - Sora, Donald, and Goofy - inside an unfamiliar place: _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL ---CUTSCENE--- A little conversation begins about the inhabitants of this place. Donald says that he feels that the presence of King Mickey is lingering, and Sora says that he also feels the same including that he thinks Riku is here too. You are about to go and explore when Goofy turns around and see's a frightening cloaked figure, the same seen in the opening movie. The figure walks forward and vanishes. The party runs near where he was, only to have him reappear behind them. They turn around and prepare for battle, questioning who he is. Donald immediately makes the assumption that he is a Heartless, and tries to use Thunder on him. It doesn't work. He tries again and fails. Falling back on his other spells Fire and Blizzard, he fails yet again. For some reason, he cannot use his magic. The figure explains that once they stepped in the castle, they forgot every spell and ability they knew. He states that in this castle, to find is to lose and to lose is to find. That is the way of things in Castle Oblivion, so he says. The party is confused. The figure says that here you will see people you know, people you miss. Sora tries to say that he misses no one, but then stops. He shouts that Riku is here, questioning the cloaked man. The man asks if he wants to find him. He says that if he does... then does a weird afterimage teleport and goes right through Sora. Even though he went towards the front of the hall, he appears in the way back, at another door leading further into the castle. Sora questions what he did, and the figure responds that he sampled his memories and made something out of them. He says it is the key to reuniting with those you hold dear. He throws Sora a card. Sora questions, "a card?" The figure says it is a promise. He tells Sora to use it and press on, and that he will find his friend. He tells Sora to hold the card before him, and the door to a new world will open. You are told that on this screen you must use the arrows to choose a card and to confirm with A. For now, select the only card you have, the card of a different - but this one familiar - place: Traverse Town. Sora asks if he is doing it right. The figure tells him that he is, and tells him to go. "To lose and claim anew, or to claim anew only to lose..." He vanishes, and you go through the door. _______________________ _____TRAVERSE TOWN_____TRATOW ---CUTSCENE--- Sora exclaims that it can't be right for they are in Traverse Town. The figure reappears and tells him that he is not seeing reality. He is only seeing the memory of what is on that card. His memory of Traverse Town is sealed inside the card the figure gave him. Jiminy Cricket tells Sora to forget that and that they need to find Donald and Goofy. Sora asks the figure what he did with them, and he explains back that they are at the mercy of the cards now. He says to master the cards, and they will be his again. The figure challenges you to a fight: He tells Sora that the laws of the castle require that Donald and Goofy were turned into cards. He throws Donald (in form of a card) towards Sora, and says if he values his friends, then he will pick them up without fail. You can now use the Control Pad to move if you want.He then gives you a tutorial of the battle system. Cards you pick up are added to the top of your stack. Use them and your friends will come to your aid. Now press A to select Donald's card. Donald will appear and use Fire on the figure. He says that used cards will vanish but reappear to aid you time and again. "Cards are the hearts of your friends," he tells Sora. "Everything in this castle is ruled by cards. Whether an enemy or a door stands in your way, cards are the only way to proceed. But you mustn't forget your own strength." Now use B to jump, and tap either Left or Right twice to Dodge Roll. The figure says to think for yourself first, then use the cards. Now make sure the blue circle is locked on him and quickly keep tapping A to attack him thrice in a row. He compliments you, and says every move you make causes a card to dissapear. If you use up every card, you will be unable to act. He tells you there is a solution, then says to use up all your cards and he will tell you. So do so. Target him and keep attacking. "There. You have no more cards, and without them, no power. If you want that power back, you must focus. Bid the cards to return to you, and they will." Now to reload the cards. To reload cards, select the reload icon and hold A. Do so now. Hold A and the crown card icon will refill. Soon the screen flashes and you see all the cards return. "The strength of your heart brought back the lost cards. You can recall spent cards any time - you only need to wish it. But each time you do, the cards will take longer to return. The cards are by no means unlimited. Use them wisely. Anticipate the flow of battle and choose the most effective cards. You may use any card in your deck." Now, cycle the cards use L and R. "The four card types you can use in battle are grouped into two wider categories. The first categoy includes attack cards, magic cards, and item cards. The second category consists entirely of enemy cards. To use a card from a different category -" Press Select to switch categories. Press it again. "Cards will empower you whether you are attacking or defending. But it is up to you to decide when to attack and when to defend. Do not forget it. The tutorial ends. You are back in Traverse Town, with Goofy and Donald. They talk about what happened. They don't remember. Suddenly everyone notices that Donald and Goofy's clothes have changed. Sora asks if it is the cards, and the figure tells him that that is for him to ponder. He says to master the cards and make his way through the castle. From here on, he walks alone. He says that Donald and Goofy can't come with him. He must go all alone. Sora says that he will be fine. "Hmm, the hero speaks so boldly. Go, then. The rest of Castle Oblivion awaits. Walk the avenues of latent memory, and you shall meet someone dear to you." He vanishes. Jiminy says he's got a bad feeling, and Sora says he's ready for any tricks. He says how hard can it be to figure out the cards. Now, instructions for the field appears. D-pad moves, A swings the keyblade, and B jumps. To open doors, strike them with the keyblade. You obtain the Key of Beginnings and are set off. - ---Key of Beginnings--- Take this time to test the controls. Afterwards, strike the door. Here we see the Room Synthesis menu. To proceed on, you need Map Cards. You must use Map Cards to synthesize new, unexplored areas. You use the D-pad to select a card, A to confirm, and B to cancel. Now, select the Moment's Reprieve card. It is explained that the number you see in the middle of the screen is the criterion to open it. The criterion now shown explains that the door will open with a value of 1 or greater. You need to pick a card that meets this criterion. Cards have marked values of 0 to 9. Zero cards are special cards that meet all criteria. The card marked without a value is a keycard. Keycards only open special doors. Press A to use the Moment's Reprieve on the door. It opens. We are now officially in Traverse Town. ---Moment's Reprieve--- Go up the ladder to see a Save Point. You can use these to save your game progress and load it from the main menu later on. Stand near it and press A to activate it. Now save your game. You will now see 1F above Traverse Town, representing that you are on the floor 1. Your level is shown, which is 01. And your time spent in the game is also shown. I was already at 00:11:31. Press A again. You are now told how to quick save. Press Start to open the menu. Try to move, and you are told that striking objects may reveal items. A barrel falls down, so strike it to see a card fall out. Jump down and grab it to get the Kingdom Key. You are told that inanimate objects are the only strikable things. A Shadow appears. You are told that touching a Heartless starts the battle, but striking it first will give you the upper hand. Strike the Heartless now. In this fight, its simple. Just attack the Heartless. They die within a couple hits. Afterwards, you get EXP which is needed to level up, and you get a Tranquil Darkness card. Go use it on the door. ---Tranquil Darkness--- ENEMIES: Shadow, Red Nocturne, Blue Rhapsody RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 2 In here, attack the Heartless seen right here. After the fight, you should have a map card. Keep fighting the Heartless here until they stop coming. Go up the ladder and break the crate for some Moogle Points. Strike the door and synthesize it. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 4 Attack all the Heartless here. Break the crate at ground level for some MP. Climb the two ladders and break that one for a Potion. Strike the door on the left side. This is a special door. You need a value of 1 criterion AND a special keycard, luckily we have it. Synthesize it with the a Level 3 card and the Key of Beginnings. ---CUTSCENE--- Sora says fighting alone is rough, and then Donald and Goofy appear. After you converse, you see Leon/Squall again. He cannot remember any experiences with you, or even any of your names! Sora is mad and says under his breath how can Leon forget them? Leon says he's sorry but they've got the wrong guy. Then he says: "Don't take it personally, Sora." Donald blurts that he does know his name, then Leon is puzzled. He asks how he knows Sora's name. Goofy and Donald talk, with backs turned. Goofy asks if Donald thinks Leon is just joking around. Donald says if he is, its not funny, because Sora's really hurt. Leon says: "Who's kidding around Goofy? You and Donald are the ones who-" Leon is puzzled more, asking what's happening to his memory. A voice says that maybe Aerith was onto something afterall. Yuffie appears, and everyone talks. Yuffie runs off, then Leon wants to teach Sora how to fight in battle. Keep attacking him, every once in a while, your attack won't work, since he has the same yet higher value card. And also, sometimes it will Card Break, when you have the higher value card, so you break the enemy's defenses. Now we see how to stock cards. To stock cards, press L and R at the same time. Do this now. You will have stocked 3 keyblade cards. After stocking cards, to use them, press L and R at the same time again. Picking special cards in a stock will unleash a sleight. After a sleight attack is used, the first card picked is lost, and won't return until the end of battle. The battle ends and Leon throws Sora a card he found. You obtain Simba and the Key of Guidance. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 4 Now go up the ladder and right. Bash the crate for MP then go back up to strike the door. Synthesize it with a Level 5, if you have one. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 4 Kill all the Heartless, as always. Go up to the left and synthesize the door with a card and the Key of Guidance. ---CUTSCENE--- Here we meet Aerith and the whole party does a lot of talking. Sora then says that Leon probably won't remember what he said at Hollow Bastion. After Sora sealed the keyhole, Leon said: "We may never meet again..." and Leon finishes Sora's sentence: "...but we'll never forget each other." Leon does remember what happened. No one can purely remember what happened, but Aerith poses the possibility that Sora's heart is doing the remembering for them. He asks how that will work. Aerith says that they don't know Sora and Co, but his heart is full of memories of them together, and that those memories must resonate in Leon and Co's hearts, too. Everyone except Sora is confused. Sora says that maybe the figure is right, and that the town is an illusion, and that his memories created it. Aerith turns and asks Sora if there's someone special to him in the town. Sora is puzzled, but quickly recovers. He says he understands that his memories are resonating with theirs, telling them what happened. Anyway, he says yes, there is a friend of his in town, or, he means Castle Oblivion. Leon and Co have no idea what Castle Oblivion is. After its over, you obtain the Key to Truth. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 5 Break the crate now to get a Simba card. Go to the northern part of the room and strike this door. Synthesize it with a Level 6 if you have one. ---Room 4--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 5 Both crates here have MP in them. After taking out the Heartless, strike the door. This door requires a Green card and the Key to Truth. ---CUTSCENE--- You see Cid and a big conversation takes place. Cid says he hasn't seen Riku, only Heartless. He says that the plaza is worst, and that the word is there'll be a jumbo-sized Heartless there when the bell rings. He says to get out of here, if you value your hide. He leaves, then Goofy says maybe he's right. Sora playfully joke-asks if they want to see the Heartless, and Donald shouts no. Then the bell rings. The screen flashes and we are pit into battle. ___________________________________ //JUMBO-SIZED HEARTLESS - GUARD ARMOR\\ ----------------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Smack: Attack you with its hands. Run away to avoid. Athlete's Feet: Yes, not foot. His two feet coming running towards you to knock you down. He stands still and stomps his feet before this, so run at that moment to avoid. You may need to jump at times, too. STOMP!: He jumps up in the air and lands on you. To avoid, Dodge Roll when he is about to land and jump up to avoid the shockwave. Spin About: Float to the ground and spin uncontrollably fast at you. [Form 2] Tri-Slam: Bounce about the ground three times in a row, sending shockwaves. [Form 2] -------- STRATEGY -------- Once the battle starts, run away. Hopefully you have a premium card with you, and it is an attack card. A premium card is an upgrade to any random card in your deck. You should have had a chance to upgrade a card sometime during a level-up. If you have a high value premium attack card, stock it up with 2 other attack cards, and attack one of his feet. Keep attacking and hopefully a Donald card will drop down. Use it on that same foot. After one foot is gone, concentrate on the other. If you don't have a premium card, it'll just take a little longer to take out a foot. Now, after some attacks, there is a 70 percent chance a Green Mickey 0 card will drop down. If it does, GET IT. After getting it, use it, and the whole scene will go into negative colors, then the screen flashes. After which, Guard Armor will fall apart, and you will have time to attack his parts quickly. You should be able to destroy a full health part during this time. Green Mickey 0 cards will keep falling in the fight, so be on the lookout. Those will make the fight a whole lot easier. Keep focusing on one part of Guard Armor, and keep attacking. Remember to be wary of the value of the card Guard Armor is about to use, and if your in a tight spot, try to Card Break as often as you can. Also, take note that the Green Mickey cards usually will fall right after Card Breaks. After the hands and feet are gone, Guard Armor is just a floating piece of armor, like he was before, but weaker. Now keep attacking the armor. Beware of his Tri-Slam attack, as it hurts a lot, and can kill you while you are refilling your cards, especially if you have to fill up 3 crown card icons. The Green Mickey 0 cards help A LOT in this form of the battle. Guard Armor will go down in no time if you use the Green Mickey 0 cards. Keep attacking and remember to Card Break and avoid his attacks. Guard Armor will be down in no time. After his destruction, the Guard Armor will fall down, flash, and dissolve. We see a transparent pink heart fly into the sky, after it dissolves. Collect all the EXP and the Guard Armor card. - Everyone is in the plaza, talking. Sora says that Riku wasn't here, and they must go on. Sora says he's not in the town, but somewhere in the castle. Cid laughes at the thought of the whole town being inside a humongous castle. Leon says that Sora is probably right, and though they don't know what's going on, Sora does. Sora can see reality is bigger than just this world. Sora says he wishes he was that sure. Leon says he'll be fine, and that though he doesn't know him, he remembers Sora in his heart. Everyone tells Sora the best of luck, and everyone leaves, Leon and Co one way, Donald and Goofy the other. Sora turns to go, and Aerith comes back. She says she wants to tell him something he ought to know. She asks if he said that his memories created this town. Sora says thats what the figure told him. She says that, then this town is a figment of the imagination, and so are Leon and Co. Sora says that's impossible. She then explains that she's not really Aerith. She doesn't remember what she should, she feels what she shouldn't. She is a figment of Sora's memories. She tells Sora to beware his memories, and in the journey to come, he will be faced with more illusions. Sometimes his memories will deceive him and try to lead him astray. They talk more, and she says he mustn't be deceived. Donalds calls to ask Sora if he's ready, and Sora turns to say hold on. He turns back, and Aerith is gone. Sora shouts her name, and Donald and Goofy run over. They ask what's wrong, and Sora explains. They say that they saw Sora standing by himself this whole time, and wondered what was wrong. Sora speaks to himself, and says "So that's what she meant..." ---Room 5--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 6 Strike the door at the bottom, and synthesize with the smallest value card you have, except not a 0. ---Room 6--- ENEMIES: Shadow, Red Nocturne, Blue Rhapsody, Soldier Kill every Heartless in this room. Go back into Room 5, because to go on through here, you need a keycard. We'll get it later on. This was just to level up and kill all the Heartless here so we won't have to worry about them later. ---Room 5--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 6 Climb the ladder and use the Save Point. Go through the door. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL2 ---CUTSCENE--- Here, we are greeted by the figure again. After some quick talk, Sora asks what the figure wants from him. The figure responds that it depends on what Sora has to give. The party gets ready for battle, and someone else appear. A spiky red-haired man appears, in the same cloak as the figure, except his hood is down. The spiky haired man answers the figure's "What do you want?" with an "I got bored." He says that the figure was hogging the hero. The figure throws a card at the spiky haired man and says that maybe HE'D like to test him. The spiky haired man says that maybe he would, and the figure vanishes. The man walks up to Sora. He tells Sora it is his show now, and that his name is Axel. Axel tells Sora to commit his name to memory. Sora tells him sure, and Axel says he learns quick and: "So, Sora, now that we're on a first-name basis..." Axel raises his arms out. Two red spiked circles appear in each of his hands. Axel finishes the sentence telling Sora not to die on him. _____________________ //MYSTERIOUS MAN - AXEL\\ --------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Combo Attack: He continously attacks Sora, taking off some health. Fire Wall: He stocks three Purple Axel cards up, and shoots a wall of fire at Sora, knocking him back. It keeps moving towards you, and you must Card Break to stop it. Stock three Kingdom Key attack cards and use them. Teleport: Teleport around the hall. Boomerang: He throws his spiked disc at you, teleports to the other side, and catches it. -------- STRATEGY -------- Beating Axel is pretty simple, just continously use the Kingdom Key attacks, and make Stock Combos such as a Donald card, Heal card, then Goofy card, for a magic attack on Axel, a heal of your health, then a Goofy charge on Axel. The Sleight move Sliding Dash really helps, if you have it. Also, the easiest time to attack Axel is when he is refilling his cards. Unleash a combo on him and it'll stop him from refilling. He'll then teleport somewhere close, so be ready to keep your attacks on him so he doesn't refill. After his health is gone, a blue light appears on Axel, the screen flashes, and he is gone. Grab the EXP and MP, then the Fire card he dropped. If you leveled up, then most likely you will have a chance for a new Sleight, so get one. If you don't feel like a new Sleight, then get some Card Points. But one thing, if you haven't gotten the Sleight move Sliding Dash yet, then choose Sleight to learn it. It's very helpful. - You will be back in the main hall, and obtain "world cards." You will now have more cards to go on into a new world. Donald states that it looks like the one that made Traverse Town, and Axel reappears. He says that is correct. Axel says he was just testing his strength, and Sora passed. "Follow your memories. Trust what you remember, seek what you forgot... ...and you will find someone very special." Goofy asks if he means Riku and the king, and Axel says he doesn't know. He says you'll have to give some more thought to who's important to you. He tells Sora he can find his most precious memories, he's the only one who can. Sora asks how, and Axel responds: "The light within the darkness. You've lost sight of it, Sora. You've forgotten forgetting." Sora asks about the light. Axel asks if he'd like a hint. Goofy asks Sora if he does or not, too. Sora declines, saying he wants to find out on his own. He tells Axel if he gets in his way, and Donald butts in saying they won't let him. Axel says that's his kind of answer, what he'd expect from Sora. "But be forewarned... When your sleeping memories awaken, you may no longer be you." He vanishes. ---Floor 1--- Now, we have to go to the 2nd floor of the castle. Moving to a different floor will erase every room created by you on the current floor. When you come back, you have to create it again. Now proceed to Floor 2. You see a quick scene where Jiminy asks what Axel could have ment by that last comment. They all talk then Goofy asks if they remember that other castle with all the contraptions. He is trying to say Hollow Bastion, but can't... and Sora and Donald don't remember any other castle. Their memories are fading. ---Floor 2--- A new object appears, a warp point. It lets you move freely between floors. No use for it now, so save and go to the next door. Now, for this, we're not going to follow the original game, its easier this way. Choose Agrabah as the next location. _________________ _____AGRABAH_____AGRBAH ---CUTSCENE--- Right on entrance, we see Aladdin in trouble. The heroes run forward to help, and a battle begins. After the fight, more Heartless appear. Aladdin raises his lamp and calls Genie to grant his first wish, get rid of the Heartless. It works. Now after some more talk, we obtain the Key of Beginnings and team up with Aladdin. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Green Requiem, Yellow Opera, Bandit, Fat Bandit, Shadow RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 7 Kill all the Heartless, the usual. Now strike the left door. Synthesize with a green card and the Key of Beginnings. ---CUTSCENE--- After much talk, Aladdin promises Genie to use his third wish to set him free. Afterwards, you get the Key of Guidance. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Barrel Spider RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 8 Watch out, the barrels now have spiders inside them, giant spiders. Watch out which ones you hit. Go to the top door and use your smallest value card, except a 0 one. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: Bandit, Fat Bandit, Green Requiem, Yellow Opera, Air Soldier, Shadow RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 9 Kill all the Heartless here, too. Use the left door, synthesizing with a 2 card or more. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 9 Kill the heartless here, its a simple process. Go to the door, and use your highest number cards. Find an 8 and a 7 so you don't have to waste any other cards. Then use the Key of Guidance. ---CUTSCENE--- We walk in to find Jasmine being attacked. Time for a rescue! Or not. Genie does it for us. More Heartless appear, and Aladdin is about to waste his last wish, when Sora steps up. Now we rescue! From this fight we get an Ether card. All of the sudden, a flashing light appears. Jafar appears, and says his plan didn't really work out. Now, we have to go after Jafar, and get Jasmine + Genie back. ---Room 4--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 10 Kill all the Heartless. Go out the bottom door. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 11 Go to Room 1. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 11 Use the door on the right. Synthesize with a red card and the Key to Truth. ---CUTSCENE--- You see Jafar and confront him. Aladdin jumps down as a sneak attack to get Jasmine, but Jafar orders Genie to get him. Genie apologizes and punches Aladdin into the wall. It was a trap, though. Jafar just blew his 2nd wish. Jafar says that Aladdin's plan didn't work, and wishes for Genie to make him an all powerful genie. You are transported to a firey battle arena, with the hot red Genie Jafar sitting in the lava. __________________________________________ //ALL POWERFUL GENIE AND HIGH VIZIER - JAFAR\\ ------------------------------------------ ------- ATTACKS ------- Fire Eyes: Shoots a fire beam from his eyes. Height Change: Change the height of the three platforms you're on. Power Punch: Slam a firey fist onto Sora. Fire Rock: Pick up a huge boulder of earth and lava to throw at Sora. -------- STRATEGY -------- You can easily defeat Jafar. Don't attack him directly, attack the lamp that Iago is holding onto. If you are stuck on a platform by Jafar, then Card Break to stop any of his attacks, but you don't need to waste Card Breaks if you can evade them as they are pretty simple. Keep jumping and attacking the lamp. I don't know why Aladdin cards drop down, they are useless. If you have one, then try to see if you can use it for a Card Break. Other than that, just keep attacking and jumping and dodging. Green Mickey 0 cards will occasionally drop down in this fight so use them. They raise the three platforms super high so you are right underneath Iago and don't even have to jump. Jafar can still hit you, but only when he does his Fire Eyes move, so stay on the middle platform when he comes up. Also, one more note is that if he is using his Fire Rock move, DO A CARD BREAK. It will make the rock explode while he's holding it and take a chunk out of his health. Its a lot easier than hitting the lamp. Also, finally note that this doesn't always happen. After he is defeated, a transparent fireball floats in front of him and the screen lights up. He will dissapear. Grab the goodies and the Jafar card. - Everyone talks and is happy about rescuing Jasmine. Aladdin has one last wish so Genie tells Aladdin to wish for him to be a prince. Aladdin says alright, and then wishes for Genie's freedom. Genie is stunned. Aladdin says that no one evil can use him again. Genie says he'll never forget this, then asks what Aladdin will do about Jasmine. Aladdin says he was wrong to think of using Genie to get her. He said he'd be no better than Jafar. Aladdin wishes Sora good luck on his journey, and starts to tell Genie something. Genie says he's one step ahead of him and gives you the Genie card. ---Room 5--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 12 Go up the ladder, save, and go through the door. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL3 ---CUTSCENE--- Goofy is feeling bad, and says that he knows he didn't make up that castle. (Hollow Bastion) He says its where Sora used the Keyblade to free Kairi's heart. Then Sora disspeared after that, for a while. Sora remembers, it was when he turned into a Heartless. Sora still doesn't remember the castle. Donald says he remembers it perfectly, and Sora asks its name. Donald thinks, and doesn't remember. He asks if Jiminy wrote everything in his journal. Jiminy says he finished the first volume before they got to Castle Oblivion. He brings out the book, and looks at it... the pages have vanished! Every word of scripture, gone. Everyone is astonished. Sora questions under his breath: "What kind of castle is this?" ---Floor 2--- Talk to Donald and Goofy if you want, and go to the stairs. ---CUTSCENE--- Here we see a girl with blonde hair drawing. We then see the party going to the next floor. Donald says something funny is going on. Sora says it may not be just the stuff they wrote down that's vanished. Goofy said they've been to another castle, but none of them really remember. Maybe their memories are the things being erased. DING DING! Donald doesn't believe it though. Jiminy hops out and quotes the figure: "In this place, to find is to lose and to lose is to find." Jiminy says he was talking about memories. Sora says that if they go on, they will only lose more memories then... No wonder they call it Castle Oblivion. Donald asks: "So the higher we go, the more we forget? What if we forget everything and can't get it back?" Sora frowns. He says he'd forget Riku and Kairi, too. Donald says they should turn back. Goofy rushes back and tells them not to worry. He says they may forget where they've been and what they've saw, but they won't forget their friends. Donald asks what makes him so sure, and Goofy asks if Sora forgot them when he was a Heartless. Sora says of course not, he'd never forget. Goofy says that no matter what happens, you can't and won't forget friends. They carry on. ---Floor 3--- Save your game. Go to the door, and choose Olympus Colliseum. ___________________________ _____OLYMPUS COLLISEUM_____OLYCOL ---CUTSCENE--- Donald notices an announcement. Now the party decides to enter the competition. But they must first beat the preliminaries, so they rush off. We see Hades walk up to the announcement. He is infuriated at them calling Hercules the perfect hero. Then we see Cloud walk in. Hades tells him to dispose of Hercules, and Cloud finishes that Hades will restore his lost memories, as they agreed. It seems someone else notices that their memories are being taken. You obtain the Key of Beginnings. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Bouncywild, Blue Rhapsody, Powerwild, Barrel Spider RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 12 Kill all the Heartless. Go to the right door, and strike it. If you have a Moogle Room card, use it. ---Moogle Room/Room 2--- ENEMIES: None/Same as previous + Large Body RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 13 If you are in the Moogle Room, you are good. Talk to the Moogle. If you haven't been to a Moogle Room here before, you will get a free pack of cards. They will most likely contain all attack cards, with one premium. After that, you can either buy a pack with your MP, or trade in cards. Let's trade in some cards, shall we? Trade in any useless cards and cards you don't use. (Same thing.) I traded in some old keyblad cards, an Ether, and Simba. Don't trade in Genie, though. He IS useful later on. Strike the top door. If you are in Room 2, then just kill all the Heartless, and use the top door. Synthesize the top door with a card value of 9, if you have one. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: Same as previous + Shadow RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 13 Kill all the Heartless, the Large Bodies are tough. They are like the Fat Bandits of Agrabah, they reflect attacks from the front. Use a 0 card on the bottom door. ---Room 4--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 14 Kill the Heartless, again. Go up and use the door on the right. If you have one, then use the Calm Bounty card here. ---Treasure Room/Room 5--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 15 If you are in the Treasure Room, use the chest. I learned Blizzard Raid from it. Now, jump on the big tan brick block to the right. MP will fall fly out. Now strike the door. If you are in a normal room, kill the Heartless and strike the door. Synthesize it with a 5 or higher card first, then a 7 or higher card and finally the Key of Beginnings. ---CUTSCENE--- You meet Phil, and he enters you into the Cup. He tells you that you can't beat Herc. Sora asks why, and Phil says: "Two words. You - ain't - heroes!" Sora tells him he's wrong, and Goofy says: "Yeah, he said three words!" Sora tells him not that, then says they are heroes. They bicker some and Herc comes and says Sora has a point. Phil starts to say that since Sora's team and Herc are the only contenders - "They're not. Name's Cloud." Phil says there's a few rules. --Rule #1: First through the obstacle course wins --Rule #2: In rule of a tie, a battle declares the winner --Rule #3: You can interfere with your opponent on the field --Rule #4: All challengers have to give it everything they got On your mark, get set, GO! You obtain the Key of Guidance. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 15 Go to the open door back to Moogle Room/Room 2. ---Moogle Room/Room 2--- ENEMIES: None/None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 15 Use the right door. Synthesize with a green card and the Key of Guidance. ---CUTSCENE--- You see Cloud stopped. Goofy thinks he's waiting for you to catch up. Sora says he's trying to fight them to interfere. Cloud tells them both is wrong. He says to keep walking. Sora asks if he's sure, and Cloud says he's not here for the Cup, but Hercules. Sora draws his keyblade. Cloud tells him he doesn't want to do that. Sora tells him its Rule #3, and he wants to fight Hercules, too. Cloud just says: "Big mistake." _________________________ //LEGENDARY WARRIOR - CLOUD\\ ------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Falling Blade: Jump up and slam his blade on Sora. Swing: Repeatedly swing his blade at Sora. Sleight - Cross-slash: Combo attack thrice with stocked cards. Sleight - Omni-slash: Fly in the air, come down and strike Sora. He does it two more times. Floating Slices: Floats around in the air and hits Sora. -------- STRATEGY -------- It is best to just keep regular attacks on Cloud. He Card Breaks any special summon, etc. When he it stocking, attack. When he has his back turned, attack. Cloud is a rough opponent, he will beat you, easily. Note to attack when he is refilling. Heal a lot, and keep attacking. Dodge Rolling really helps here. Note that he can heal, too, so stop him. - After his defeat, he vanishes. You get the Key to Truth and are sent back. ---Moogle Room/Room 2--- ENEMIES: None/None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 15 Go up to Room 3. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 15 Go through the bottom door. ---Room 4--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 15 Go up and use the left door. Synthesize with a card value of 3 or lower. Then the Key to Truth. ---CUTSCENE--- We see Herc standing in a fight, with Cloud on the ground. Cloud lost. Cloud gets back up, and Herc says he can't guarantee his safety. Cloud tells him to worry about himself, and Sora stands up to help Herc. Cloud says to get all the backup he wants, he'll still beat Herc and get his memories back. Sora questions him. Hades appears and tells Cloud they don't want to spill the beans. Hades is mad, and tells Cloud that he's fired. Cloud is alarmed: "But... my memories! We made a promise!" Hades returns: "Did you really think you could get your lost memories back like that? Get a grip!" Hades says he'll take care of Herc himself, and sends a shockwave that knocks back the party and Cloud. Herc still stands. Hades says some wacky trademark saying: "Rule #5: Its never too late to enter the games!" Hades says Cloud may have failed, but he weakened Herc: "Time for Plan B!" Sora runs and says another trademark: "Hold it, hothead!" Herc tries to stop him, but Sora insists. The fight begins. Hades makes one more wacky saying: "Rule #6: There are no rules! Ha ha!" _______________________________ //RULER OF THE UNDERWORLD - HADES\\ ------------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Explosion: Make a little explosion of fire. Sleight - Temper Flare: Causes himself to go berserk. He turns red, gains strength, and gets new powers. Lasts the whole fight. Flamethrower: During Temper Flare, emit flame lines from both hands like a flamethrower. Sleight - Firaga Ball: Conjure a big fire ball and throw it at Sora. Fire Swing: During Temper Flare, swing hands at Sora and make fire emit from them. -------- STRATEGY -------- Hades is by far the toughest yet. Right at the start, attack him. Try your best to attack him while he's blue and normal. Don't let him use Temper Flare, try your hardest to prevent it. If he does use it, then watch out for some new moves. When in Temper Flare, if he uses Flamethrower, do a Card Break. Its the only way to stop it. If he uses Firaga Ball, Dodge Roll out of the way. His Fire Swing move is pretty simple to dodge, and he rarely uses Explosion in Temper Flare, but that's easy too. Any spells like Blizzard and Blizzaga help a whole bunch. Try your best to use those at the right time, and don't waste them like when he has a bigger value card or in Card Breaks. I was near dead when I struck the final blow to Hades. Again, he dissapears like Jafar did, and becomes the card. Pick up the Hades card. - The games are cancelled and you don't fight Herc. He tells you he'll fight later, and then Jiminy yells to come over. Cloud is waking up and he's alright. Sora gives Cloud some good advice about his memories. Cloud thinks then gives Sora a card. He tells him its for Sora, for helping him out. Sora asks if he wants to come with them instead. He declines. You get the Cloud card. ---Room 6--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 16 Save the game and go through the door. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL4 ---CUTSCENE--- Donald is feeling bad now, he hopes the king is alright. Sora asks why he brought it up, and Donald says he wants to make sure he doesn't forget it. Goofy remembers too, and Sora remembers about Riku. He says that its probably not easy to forget important memories, and Donald says he hopes so. ---Floor 3--- Talk to Goofy and Donald, then go to the stairs. ---CUTSCENE--- We see a blonde haired girl and Axel. She says that Axel seems interested in Sora. He asks if she isn't. She hasn't made up her mind. He says that Sora became a Heartless, and that she knows what happens to people who do. Larxene (the girl), says: "People who lose their hearts also lose their minds, their feelings... They're consumed by the darkness." Axel responds: "Right. But this didn't happen to Sora. He kept his feelings, even as a Heartless. Only one other man managed to do that." "So it's the strength of his heart that intrigues you - the heart chosen by the Keyblade." "What makes his heart shine like that? What sleeps in its most secret depthes?" "The heart is a mysterious thing, Axel." "Maybe so, but unlocking its secret is the whole reason, we, the Organization, exist." - We see Sora and Co again. Donald says that they forget everything bit by bit, except friends. Goofy wonders what they just forgot. They won't be able to tell. He says it must not have been important. Sora shows them the good luck charm Kairi gave him. He says its special to her, he promised to return it. He says he'll never forget that promise, which is why he won't forget Kairi. He wonders what she's doing. The screen goes black and we see Sora. Then Kairi appears. She begins to transform into that blonde haired girl. Sora asks who that was, and Donald asks if he's alright. Sora says its nothing. ---Floor 4--- Save the game, talk to Goofy and Donald, then go to the door. Choose Wonderland as the next destination. ____________________ _____WONDERLAND_____WONLAN ---CUTSCENE--- On arrival, we see someone coming. Its that Late Rabbit. He runs off in a frenzy. You obtain the Key of Beginnings. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Shadow, Soldier, Large Body, Red Nocturne, Creeper Plant, Crescendo RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 16 Kill all the Heartless as the normal routine. The Crescendos are bothersome enemies though, kill them first. They can call other heartless. Hit the flower to get some MP, and jump on the big mushrooms here for more MP and a card. Strike the door and synthesize with a value of 1 or up. If you got a Premium Room card from one of the fights, use it. In the next room, after you win fights, you are more likely to get the bonus of upgrading a card to Premium. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 17 Fight all of the Heartless in here. Climb up, bounce up, and hit the door, synthesize it with a card of 4 or more. (Rhyming skills, yo!) ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 17 Kill the Heartless. Strike the left door. Use a Moogle Room card if you have one. ---Moogle Room/Room 4--- ENEMIES: None/Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 18 If you're in the Moogle room, you know the drill. They give you another free pack here, too. Trade in any cards, and buy some packs. Strike the bottom door. Synthesize it with a card of 8 or more and the Key of Beginnings. ---CUTSCENE--- We walk in on Alice's trial. She is charged with aiding the Heartless. She asks for evidence, and the Queen says she forgot, which is the evidence. She says Alice stole her memories. Sora comes to her aid. The Queen asks who the thief is, and Sora stupidly says he is. The Queen sends the cards after Sora. ______________________________ //QUEEN OF HEART'S ARMY OF CARDS\\ ------------------------------ ------- ATTACKS ------- Normal Attacks: Spades attack with axes. Hearts attack with spears. -------- STRATEGY -------- [Wave 1 - The Spades] This isn't a boss battle, but its tough. Just keep attacking and Dodge Rolling. It shouldn't take too long to take out the Spade cards. [Wave 2 - Spades and Hearts] This is the second wave, not the spear carrying Hearts are here. Repeat the same moves over. After you defeat them you get the Card Soldier card. - We see that Alice escaped, but then the Queen of Hearts sends more cards for us. Sora and Co run, and we get the Key of Guidance. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 18 Proceed back to Room 3. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 18 Proceed back to Moogle Room/Room 4. ---Moogle Room/Room 4--- ENEMIES: None/None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 18 Strike the left door. Synthesize with a card of 8 or more. ---Room 5--- ENEMIES: Shadow, Soldier, Large Body, Creeper Plant, Red Nocturne, Crescendo RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 18 Kill all the Heartless. Go back out. ---Moogle Room/Room 4--- ENEMIES: None/None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 19 Go back out again. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 19 Strike the right door. Use a card of 1 or more and the Key of Guidance. ---CUTSCENE--- We meet Alice. The party talks with her for a while. Then the Cheshire Cat appears. He says the Queen is a stickler for justice and won't forget Alice until she remembers. "She won't stop hounding you till you get her memory back. Did she forget because she remembers? Does she remember that she forgot? Doesn't matter, I suppose." They agree to do something about the Queen to help Alice. "You should do something. But you don't have to do anything. If you can't remember something, its like it never happened. Likewise, if something never happened, you can't remember it. Try too hard to remember, and your memory might lie to you." "Lie?" "That's all I'll say. The rest is for you to figure out." He dissapears and you gain the Key to Truth. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 19 Go to Room 2. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 19 Go to Room 3. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 19 Take the top door. You should probably have a Black Room card. Use it if you do. ---Black Room/Room 6--- ENEMIES: Black Fungus/Shadow, Soldier, Large Body, Creeper Plant, Red Nocturne, Crescendo RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 19 If you're in the Black Room, then evade all the Black Fungus unless you want an annoying fight. Fighting the Black Fungus aren't hard, its just annoying. They Card Break A LOT, and when they turn to White Fungus temporarily during the fight, they're invincible. Strike the door. If you're in a normal room, kill all the Heartless. Strike the door. Synthesize with a red card, a green card, and the Key to Truth. ---CUTSCENE--- We're inside a house now. Alice runs off, and we see the Queen. She is about to sentence you to death, then she forgets EVERYTHING. She doesn't know where she is and all that. Lights keep flashing, then the Trickmaster appears. _______________________________________ //WONDERLAND MEMORY STEALER - TRICKMASTER\\ --------------------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Fire: He shoots a fireball at Sora. Slam: He raises his hands and slams them for a shockwave. Upswing: When you are attacking Trickmaster or are close, he'll sometimes swing his arms up to knock you away. -------- STRATEGY -------- Trickmaster is the simplest to fight in the whole game. Whenever you Card Break one of his attacks, he falls over and leaves himself open for a flurry of 3 to 4 attacks. Also, whenever you Card Break, sometimes a Green Mickey 0 card will fall down and you can use it. When used, it creates a table in the middle. Jump on the table and you can use spells like Blizzard or Blizzaga to hit him. He has two health bars, but that is no problem. After he's defeated he dissapears and leaves you goodies and a card. Pick 'em up. - Afterwards, the Queen questions what they did, and Alice tricks the Queen into thinking she gave them the orders to do that. She falls for it. ---Room 7--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 19 Climb the rope, save, and go through the door. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL5 ---CUTSCENE--- Sora wonders who that blonde haired girl was. Sora is thinking really hard of what the name is, then Donald breaks his concentration telling him to come on. ---Floor 4--- Talk to Donald and Goofy then go to the stairs. ---CUTSCENE--- We see the girl drawing again. Then we see Sora and Co. Sora stops and shouts that he remembers. He remembers that there was another girl on the island with Kairi, Riku, and himself. They ask why he's remembering now, and he says that its coming back to him in bits and pieces as they move on. He doesn't remember her name yet. [Note from the Author: It's like Axel said - To lose is to find. They are losing memories, but finding more at the same time.] ---Floor 5--- Save, talk to the party, and go to the door. Choose Monstro as the location. _________________ _____MONSTRO_____MONSTRO ---CUTSCENE--- Its purple and everything, yuck. Sora says everything is so springy and soft. Then a voice speaks, Pinocchio appears. Jiminy is overjoyed. You follow Pinoke. You also get the Key of Beginnings. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Air Soldier, Search Ghost, Tornado Step, Shadow, Green Requiem, Yellow Opera RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 19 Kill all the Heartless. Strike the right door. Use a Calm Bounty card if you have one. ---Treasure Room/Room 2--- ENEMIES: None/Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 20 If you're in the Treasure Room, use the chest. I learned Fire Raid here. Strike the top door. If you're in the normal room, kill the Heartless. Strike the top door. Synthesize it with another Calm Bounty if you have one. ---Treasure Room 2/Room 3--- ENEMIES: None/Same as previous + Large Body RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 20 Treasure Room: Use the chest and strike the left door. Normal Room: Kill the Heartless and strike the left door. Synthesize with yet another Calm Bounty if you have one. ---Treasure Room 3/Room 4--- ENEMIES: None/Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 20 Treasure Room: Use the chest and strike the top door. Normal Room: Kill the Heartless and strike the top door. Synthesize with a Calm Bounty AGAIN, if you have one. ---Treasure Room 4/Room 5--- ENEMIES: None/Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 20 Treasure Room: Use chest and strike the door. Normal Room: Kill the Heartless and strike the door. This time synthesize with a Moment's Reprieve. ---Save Room/Room 6--- ENEMIES: None/Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 20 Save Room: Save and backtrack all the way to Treasure Room 2/Room 3. Normal Room: Kill the Heartless and backtrack to Treasure Room 2/Room 3. ---Treasure Room 2/Room 3--- ENEMIES: None/None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 20 Strike the right door and use a Sleeping Darkness if you have one. ---Room 7--- ENEMIES: Air Soldier, Search Ghost, Tornado Step, Shadow, Green Requiem, Yellow Opera, Large Body RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 20 Sneak past the enemies if you have used the Sleeping Darkness, or just sneak attack them. If its normal, just kill them all. Strike the right door. You must synthesize this door with high number cards. That's why I took you through those Treasure Rooms because you: a) Would have the chance of getting more map cards from the chests b) Most likely had low number Calm Bounty cards and stuff, which isn't needed for this room. After reaching the value of 20 or more, use the Key of Beginnings. ---CUTSCENE--- Here we meet Gepetto. After much conversation, you're set off to find Pinoke and you get the Key of Guidance. ---Room 7--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 20 Go back into Room 3, then down to Treasure Room/Room 2. ---Treasure Room/Room 2--- ENEMIES: None/None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 21 Strike the bottom door. First use a red card, then a card of 5 or less, then the Key of Guidance. ---CUTSCENE--- We see Pinnochio again. After some more conversation, the place starts to shake and rumble. Pinnochio runs, then we see a boss. It turns out, Pinoke is trapped inside this boss. ________________________________________ //TOXIC TRAPPING HEARTLESS - PARASITE CAGE\\ ---------------------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Toxic Hazard: Not an attack, but if you touch the toxic liquid, you lose some health. Toxic Slam: It slams its arms down to cause the platforms to fall in. Jump to avoid touching the liquid. Body Smack: It holds itself up with its arms, and throws its body out at Sora. Toxic Breath: Shoots a fume of toxic gas at Sora. -------- STRATEGY -------- Six words: SUMMONS REALLY HELP IN THIS BATTLE. The Parasite Cage is hard to reach, even on a platform close to it. Attacking it normally will cause Sora to fall off into the liquid. Summons of Simba, Genie, and Cloud (when on a platform right beside it) will take it down in a snap. Also, magic spells of Fire and Blizzard will serve it right too. It having two health bars doesn't really help either, but you can suffice. Keep using summons and magic, and never normal attack unless its necessary. If you're lucky, you'll get a Green Mickey 0 card. Using this creates one platform that moves with you, so you can get in close and unleash combos of attacks. Grab the goodies and the Parasite Cage card. - [Note from the Author: Isn't it odd, we beat the boss, yet only used the Key of Guidance and Key of Beginnings? Where's the Key to Truth? Looks like this place isn't over with yet.] We see Sora trying to comfort the trapped Pinocchio. Pinocchio is able to break free. Now we get the plan of making Monstro spit us out, and we get the Key to Truth now. ---Treasure Room/Room 2--- ENEMIES: None/None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 21 Go all the way back to Save Room/Room 6. ---Save Room/Room 6--- ENEMIES: None/None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 21 Strike the door. After the fight, pick up the Dumbo card. Now the place shakes and rumbles again. Monstro sneezes and we're back where Gepetto was. Gepetto and Pinocchio escaped from Monstro. Now we should too. ---Room 8--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 21 Climb the bone ladder, save, and go through the door. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL6 ---CUTSCENE--- We see the party again. Donald asks if Sora remember the girl now. Goofy asks to tell them about her, so he explains: "She was quiet...and almost always drawing pictures. While we were all swimming at the beach, she'd draw a picture of it instead. Sometimes she drew us, too! She was really good at it. I think sometimes Riku and I would fight over who would get his picture drawn next. But one day, she was gone. Just like that. I think our parents knew the reason. They might've even tried to explain it to me. But I was little. I probably didn't understand what was happening. I remember crying a little after she was gone. But that's it. I still can't remember her name." "Still, up until now you didn't remember any of that!" Donald tries to cheer him up. Jiminy brings up an interesting thing: "Anyone notice something odd? Sora's remembering things, instead of forgetting them. Hmm... maybe forgetting things is the only way to reach the memories buried deeper down." "You mean you have to forget to remember?" Goofy asks. Sora responds: "So its like those black-robed guys said. Our most precious memories lie deep in our hearts, out of reach. And all that stuff about finding being losing and losing being finding... I didn't get it at first but maybe this is what they were talking about." They talk some more, then go off. ---Floor 5--- Talk to Goofy and Donald, then go to the stairs. ---CUTSCENE--- We see Larxene and Axel talking again. Axel asks if its time for another round. Larxene says only if its her time to play. Axel throws her a card. He says their job is to deliver him in one piece. She asks if she can't have her way first. He tells her not to break him, and she asks if he's soft. He says that Sora is one of them, and they talk a little more. We see the party. They talk a little more, then off again. ---Floor 6--- Save, talk to the party, and go to the door. Halloween Town is the last world. ________________________ _____HALLOWEEN TOWN_____HALTOW ---CUTSCENE--- The party talks some, and we meet Jack Skellington. They talk some, then Jack says there's a problem in town. Sora asks what problem. Jack responds: "Like this!" and throws his arm out, making Heartless appear. After the fight, Donald complains to Jack. Jack says he didn't call them, in fact, he'd like to get rid of them. Jack runs off and you need to follow him. You will learn Terror and get the Key of Beginnings. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Shadow, Wight Knight, Gargoyle, Creeper Plant, Search Ghost RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 21 Kill all the Heartless and strike the door. He says to get back and to stay away. ______________________________________ //CREEP OF HALLOWEEN TOWN - OOGIE BOOGIE\\ -------------------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Roll Dice: He rolls the dice to determine an attack. Blade Roll: A spinning green sawblade bounces around. Blade Legs: Sharp pointy blade-like legs stomp around. Recover: He heals himself. Summon: He summons enemies to attack. -------- STRATEGY -------- Oogie Boogie is very easy to cope with. When he drops the dice down, Card Break and attack them. After destroying one, stop. The gates will lower, then he goes for more dice. Repeat until the gate is down. After which, jump up and unleash your best attacks on him. Soon the gates come back up and you are pushed back down. Keep attacking the dice. If you're lucky, you'll get a Green Mickey 0 card. Using it stops any attacks in progress or about to happen, and lowers the gates all the way. Take this time to unleash more fury. After his health is gone, he dissapears. Pick up the EXP and Oogie Boogie in the form of a card. - We see Oogie didn't drink all of the potion. After much talk and happenings, we learn that apparently when true memories are awakened, it causes the body to malfunction and something unpredictable happens. Sora asks what'll happen when his memories awaken, and the Doctor says probably something more terrible. Jack asks if the Doctor's theory scares Sora. He agrees, and asks why. Jack says that fear and insecurity are signs of a strong heart. ---Room 9--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 23 Go up the ladder, save, and go through the door. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL7 ---CUTSCENE--- We meet Larxene in person now. After a quick introduction, she tells Sora that the bad guys are holding the forgotten girl deep in the castle. She tells him that he has to save her, but there's a catch. She does a flashing through movement like she did earlier, when she was under the hood, but this time it hurts Sora. He falls and we see a cinema of the star necklace falling off. She's a bad guy, and they have to go through her. Then, Sora asks what it is. Larxene tells him to remember, and he starts to remember the girl's name. Her name is Namine. Larxene calls him heartless for forgetting the girl's name. She gets ready to smash the necklace, and Sora stands up to fight. He knocks her away and says its precious to him. Larxene disagrees, telling him moments ago he didn't know what it means. _____________________________ //ORGANIZATION MEMBER - LARXENE\\ ----------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Normal Combo: Larxene continously attacks Sora. Nail Strike: She throws the nails she's carrying at Sora, which grow huge and hurt a lot. Thundaga: She casts Thundaga. Sleight - Lightning Bolt: A lightning bolt picks Sora ups in the air and stuns him. It drains his health until Larxene stops the move and drops him. You are stunned until you recover or she attacks again. NOTE: This CAN be evaded. Right when she points her finger, Dodge Roll behind her. Use Item Card: She uses Item Cards to aid her. -------- STRATEGY -------- Larxene is a rough boss. You must attack her at any open time. Try your best to prevent her from using Lightning Bolt, it really hurts a lot. Try to avoid her Nail Strike too. Whenever she is refilling, attack. And whenever she is about to attack, try to use a Card Break. Sleights like Strike Raid, Fire Raid, and Blizzard Raid work really well here. So do Summons like Genie, Cloud, and Simba. She has two health bars so its a long fight. Whatever you do, try to stop her from doing Lightning Bolt, it is EDIT: avoidable! [See above] Keep attacking and using combos until you win. She will dissapear after the fight and leave behind the Thunder card. Be sure to get any Sleights if you level up. - After the fight, Larxene calls you a heartless hero, and Sora asks who asked her. She asks if it hurts 'cause its true and to grow up. She asks if he's gonna be a baby to play with these - she tosses more cards. She tells him to say thank you, and ta-ta. She leaves. Sora states that he hates her and that its not fair that she made him remember. He says that Namine is too special for that. We receive more "world cards" and we're off. ---Floor 6--- Talk to everyone and go to the stairs. ---CUTSCENE--- We see Larxene back with Axel, and she tells him she threw the battle. He responds: "Throwing the battle? Looks to me like you plain old lost the battle." She is infuriated and complains, but is cut off. Someone speaks and tells Larxene that it was an ungainly performance. Another man walks in, by the name of Vexen. He's an Organization scientist. He says he wants to experiment with Sora to clear his doubts of Sora being a hero. Axel tells him to do as he wants, but to drop the act, as testing Sora is just an excuse to test Vexen's little follower. Vexen calls whatever it is a product of his research, and Larxene calls it a toy. Vexen says he's wasting his time. Axel gives Vexen a card, and they say more to each other. Vexen turns to leave, and we see the screen scroll down a little to reveal the silver hair of a person walking towards Vexen, who is undoubtedly Riku. We see Sora rushing ahead of the party, and he says that they have to rescue Namine. ---Floor 7--- Save, talk to the party, and go to the door. Choose Atlantica as the location. ___________________ _____ATLANTICA_____ATLICA ---CUTSCENE--- We meet Ariel who doesn't even introduce herself. She says if anyone asks, the party didn't see her. We see something sparkle on her neck, and she swims off. We get the Key of Beginnings. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Aquatank, Screwdiver, Sea Neon, Search Ghost, Darkball RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 24 Kill the Heartless as usual. The Darkballs are here, whom are the black/purple floating balls that you met at Hollow Bastion and the End of the World in Kingdom Hearts. Strike the door. Strike the bottom door and use a card of 7 or more. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 25 Kill the Heartless and strike the left door. Use a red card and the Key of Beginnings. ---CUTSCENE--- We meet Sebastian and he speaks that someone stole the King's Trident. A lot more talking, then we're off with the Key of Guidance. We have to find Ariel because she stole it to give it to Ursula. ---Room 4--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 25 Kill the Heartless and take the left door. Synthesize it with something of 5 or more. ---Room 5--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 27 Kill the Heartless and take the left door, synthesizing with 5 or more. ---Room 6--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 27 Kill the Heartless here too. Now go back out. ---Room 4--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 29 Go out the right door now. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 29 Strike the top door. Synthesize with a card value of 7 or up. ---Room 9--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 29 Kill all the Heartless then strike the door. Synthesize with a green card and the Key of Guidance. ---CUTSCENE--- We see Ariel again, talking about what happened. Ursula comes in and more of this plot is unwravelled. Ursula leaves and the party offers their support. We get the Key to Truth and are set off. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 29 Travel all the way to the end to Room 6, saving on the way if you turned Room 7 into a Save Room. ---Room 6--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 29 Strike the left door and synthesize with a blue card plus the Key to Truth. ---CUTSCENE--- We meet Ursula, and after much MUCH more talking, Ariel gives up the Trident. Ursula actually releases Flounder, but uses the Trident to grow super huge. Time to fight. __________________ //SEA WITCH - URSULA\\ ------------------ ------- ATTACKS ------- Thunder: Ursula casts Thunder. Confused Bubbles: She blows bubbles which take off health and make you confused so your directional controls are reversed. Lightning Mouth: She shoots a big ray of lightning from her mouth. -------- STRATEGY -------- This fight is pure ease. Card Break to stop either of her attacks. All you have to do is take out a tentacle, then she stops attacking. Jump up and combo her ugly face. Soon after, the tentacle will Card Break and come back up. Just take it out again, or take out a different one. Every once in a while, she moves around so just keep attacking but moving with her. If you get a Green Mickey 0 card, it lowers her down for a temporary time so you can beat her face in. Keep attacking and using combos to finish this in no time. After her defeat, she dissapears. Pick up the EXP and the card. - A lot more talking goes on now, then we leave. ---Room 10--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 30 Climb the ladder, save, and go through the door. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL8 ---CUTSCENE--- The party comes back to the castle to meet a long lost friend. Riku is here. Riku gripes and asks Sora to let him know if he's getting in the way of something more important than reuniting with him. Sora tries to disagree, but Riku doesn't listen. He says that Sora probably forgot all about him. Sora asks if he's crazy. He tells him that he came out here to find Riku. Riku says that its not that anymore, now Sora wants to find Namine. He says that Sora doesn't care about him anymore than he cares about Namine's feelings. Sora asks what that means, and Riku asks if he ever gave a thought about it. He says that just because Sora wants to see Namine doesn't mean it goes both ways. Sora says that's funny, unconvincingly. Riku asks who's joking. He says that Namine doesn't even want to look at Sora. Sora asks why, and Riku tells him to ask his memories. Riku says if Sora even bothered to remember her reason for leaving the islands. Sora asks if he did something. Riku is quiet, and Sora says his name. Riku tells Sora to go home and that he can take care of Namine. He says that anyone who goes near Namine - then he makes a movement, the screen flashes, and he's Dark Riku. The way he was when Ansem was controlling him, with his purple, black, and Heartless symbolled suit. He even has a blade with him. - goes through him. Sora asks what his problem is. Riku asks when Sora has ever cared about him. He says that Namine isn't the only one sick of Sora. Sora tells Riku to stop, but he doesn't listen. ______________________________________ //EVIL FORM OF A LOST FRIEND - DARK RIKU\\ -------------------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Normal Attacks: Dark Riku attacks normally with his blade. Spin Slash: He spins and swings his blade to knock Sora back. Use Item Cards: He uses Item Cards to aid him. Jump Slash: He jumps up in the air and slams the blade down on Sora. Combo: He uses normal attack combos which actually hurt a lot. -------- STRATEGY -------- Dark Riku is a very tough opponent. He isn't the true Riku, but he's hard. To defeat him, as usual you MUST use a lot of Card Breaks. Attack him whenever he stops moving. Attack him when he is refilling. There are no major attacks to worry about other than his combos, which hurt a lot as mentioned above. Summons and Enemy Cards like Darkball, Jafar, and Parasite Cage help too. Keep using combo attacks and stocked spells like Firaga and Blizzaga. Keep at it until he has lost. He has two health bars so it might take a while. One stocked attack that REALLY REALLY HELPS, is stocking three Clouds to use Omnislash. That takes CHUNKS out of his health for every hit. After his health is down, grab the goodies and you'll most likely level up, and grab the dropped Aero card. - When he's defeated, Riku stops, then runs off. Sora begs for him to come back, but to no avail. ---Floor 7--- Talk to the party then go up. ---CUTSCENE--- Sora screams for Riku to come out. The party asks if Sora is alright. He says to forget about him, and he wants to know what happened to Riku. Jiminy says its almost as if the Heartless are controlling him again. Sora says that Ansem got him once, but Ansem is no more now. Sora says they saw to that. Goofy wonders what is wrong then. Donald spurs up a thought, and asks if King Mickey was supposed to be with Riku. He says if something happened to Riku, the king may be in danger. Sora says yeah, but is depressed. Jiminy tells him that Riku is still his friend, that's no mistake. Sora asks if he's sure Jiminy says that Riku said some horrible things back there, but not to forget - they're in Castle Oblivion. People lose their memory a bit at a time, and that Riku forgot that they were friends, probably. Jiminy says that'd be his guess, so instead of being sad, they should try to make him remember. Sora says that's ok, and Donald tells him the Keyblade Master shouldn't sound like that, so Sora does a funny 'being the hero' saying, and we're off. ---Floor 8--- Save, talk to the party, and go to the door. We'll slightly go off the path of places the game is already saying to go to, and we'll go to 100 Acre Wood. _______________________ _____100 Acre Wood_____ACROOD ---CUTSCENE--- We meet Winnie the Pooh, and after a long talk, we have to do a minigame. We have to help Pooh find his friends. Use R to Call Pooh over to you. - EMAIL w/ grammar correctionsFROM "JOEY KLINE": 1. If you lead Pooh to the hole with footprints, you'll find Roo. 2. Lead Pooh to the beehive by Eeyore. Hit it some times and Pooh will free Eeyore's tail. - EMAIL w/ grammar corrections FROM "JONATHAN HA": 1. To get Rabbit, you must first get Pooh on the wagon. Pooh will do this automatically. Then, jump on the wagon with Sora. It will break. Next, go to the end and whack all the poles down. Soon, cabbage will start falling. Hit(?) them and they will get in a pirimend(what?). Then Rabbit will come. 2. Get Pooh to ride the balloons. Owl will find him. 3. By Tigger, get Pooh on a stump. Then get Sora onto the one clockwise from Pooh's. Call him and he will jump to yours. Just to the next one in a clockwise direction and call him again. Jump again, and keep repeating that until Tigger will talk to you. - Now, first off go forward and call Pooh. Talk to Rabbit, then call Pooh over to eat the honey. Now go forward again and call Pooh. Lead him in front of Piglet and watch the cutscene. You will learn Confuse. Now keep going forward, calling Pooh. Lead him to the honey here. Now keep going on. Lead him on to the next honey, then to Tigger. No cutscene here, so keep going on. Lead him to the honey, then keep going. Lead him to more honey, then on and on. Finally, get to the log in the ground at the end. You'll see a cutscene, then obtain Bambi. Save the game. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL9 ---CUTSCENE--- We see Dark Riku again. A lot of talking goes on again, and Sora asks why he won't come home because Kairi wants to see him. Riku says that he told Sora back at Kingdom Hearts, when they sealed the door to darkness, to take care of Kairi. Riku tells him to give it up, he's not going back. Sora asks about his other friends. Riku tells Sora he can have him, and that he forgot about those losers a long time ago. Sora tells Riku to listen to himself, and Riku asks Sora about himself. He asks if Sora remembers what they all look like. Sora says he does, but stops. He can't. Riku tells him not to feel bad, as that is what the castle does if you stay too long. He says you forget all the useless stuff and remember for the first time what really matters. Riku says he remembered the most important thing to him: that he's staying to protect Namine and nothing else matters. Sora thinks, then asks Riku if he can jog his memory, and draws his Keyblade once again. Riku tells him to go ahead and try. Sleight - Dark Firaga: He shoots a ball of dark, yet white, fire at Sora. -------- STRATEGY -------- Dark Riku is no different than the last fight, except he has a Sleight move now which is called Dark Firaga. He shoots a ball of dark fire at Sora, yet the dark ball is white. Anyway, just avoid it, and try to stop it since that hurts too. He still has two health bars so it shouldn't be a problem. Do exactly what you chose to do last time, except tweak it for some preventative moves for his Dark Firaga, and don't forget to Card Break a lot. Be careful when attacking this time though, Dark Riku will Card Break a lot more often this round. Again, the stocked combo of three Clouds to make Omnislash works real well here. One final note is that if you have the Sleight move Blitz, use it. Stock three different Keyblade card types and you'll attack Dark Riku strongly in 3 times in a row, which usually never miss. - After he's defeated, grab the goodies. He will tell you too bad, and that nothing is coming back to him. He tells Sora to hit a little harder, and Sora says that's enough. He tells Riku to stop, and let them both save Namine. Riku says that's so like Sora, trying to worm his way into Riku's heart. Sora asks when he did that. Riku tells him he probably forgot. He says it never mattered to Sora how Riku felt. He runs off, and Sora says that he won't let Riku push him away. You'll learn Warpinator, ---Floor 8--- Talk and take the stairs. ---CUTSCENE--- We see Axel talking to Namine. He says he knows how she feels. He tells her not to get her hopes up, and that nobodies can't be somebodies. He tells her to think, and that he's sure there's SOMETHING that she can do. She is silent. We see the party, and Sora is depressed again. He says that Riku and he want the same things so he doesn't understand why they fight. Donald tries to cheer him up. He says that they are inseperable: Sora, Riku, and Kai... he can't remember Kairi's name. Jiminy says that their memories are fading fast. He tells them to hurry. Sora says they're probably right, himself, Riku, and Namine. He's forgotten Kairi. ---Floor 9--- Save, talk, and take the door. Just use combos, summons, magic spell stocks like Firaga and Thundaga, stock summons like three Clouds to make Omnislash, and Sleights like three different type of Keyblade attack cards to make a Blitz. Hook has a little pinch of a second health bar, so he's easy to beat. The only main worry is his Combo & Present move, and the boat rocking back and forth. Do what I said and he should be done for. After that's over, grab his card and if you leveled up, choose Sleight. If you're lucky, then you'll probably learn Ars Arcanum. - More talking goes on, you'll get the Tinker Bell card. ---Room 11--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 37 Climb the ladder, save, and through the door. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL10 ---CUTSCENE--- The party arrives and expects Riku, but he's not here. ---Floor 9--- Talk to everyone then go up. ---CUTSCENE--- We see Vexen, Larxene, and Axel. Larxene tells Vexen that it looks like Riku isn't taking orders anymore. Axel says to give Vexen the benefit of the doubt, and maybe Riku is hiding to lure Sora in further. Larxene apologizes. She says she's used to his experiments being funny. Vexen is enraged and tells her to shut up, and calls her conniving. He is cut off by yet ANOTHER Organization member, Marluxia. Notice all the X's in the names? Marluxia tells Vexen not to dissapoint them again. Vexen says that Marluxia, or No. 11, presumes too much. Vexen says that he, No. 4, will not stand for snide remarks. Marluxia disagrees and says Namine was entrusted to him. He says to defy him is to defy the Organization. Marluxia says he will report this failure to the Superior. Vexen pleads not to do it, and Marluxia says he won't, under one condition: Vexen gets rid of Sora personally. Vexen asks why, and Marluxia tells him to just do it. Axel tells Marluxia that Vexen WILL do it, since he has no choice. Marluxia says that neither do they. He walks over to Namine. He asks her what to do as her hero is about to be wiped out. He thens says that he made a promise to her, "didn't he?" She lights up, and says "yes." We see the party. Jiminy says that they've lost 10 floors of memories, and that they can still turn back. Sora says that he made a promise. He says that when they were little, he promised Namine that he'd always keep her safe. Its another memory he just got. He says he can make up for forgetting by keeping it. ---Floor 10--- Save, talk, and go to the door. Choose our final destination, Hollow Bastion. ________________________ _____HOLLOW BASTION_____HOLBAST ---CUTSCENE--- We see Belle and Beast talking. Something is wrong with Belle and she tells Beast she is staying with Maleficent. She goes away. The party tries to comfort Beast, but he leaves. We get the Key of Beginnings. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Wyvern, Wizard, Darkball, Shadow, Defender RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 37 Kill all the Heartless or run. The Defenders are the toughest Heartless in the whole game. Strike the top door. I am now saying to use this room as a Save Room. It is a NEED for this level. Synthesize with a Moment's Reprieve. ---Save Room--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 37 Save and head back out. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 37 Take the left door. Synthesize with 1 or more. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: Same as previous + Tornade Step RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 37 Kill or run again. Forget the bottom door, its an extra room. Take the left door, and use a 1 or more card on it. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 38 Kill or run, whichever you choose. Strike the right door and make it a Moogle Room. ---Moogle Room--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 38 Take the top door, make it a Black Room. Trust me, you're strong enough for the boss and probably don't want to fight the annoying Defenders. ---Black Room--- ENEMIES: Black Fungus RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 38 Evade the fungus. Take the left door and make the next room a White Room. ---White Room--- ENEMIES: White Mushrooms RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 38 Go back to Room 3. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: Same as previous/None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 38 Fight the Heartless if there's any, or don't. I don't care. Take the left door and synthesize with a normal 6 or more. ---Room 4--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 38 Kill them or run. Take the bottom door. Synthesize with a 7 or more. ---Room 5--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 38 Kill them, I reccomend you do here. If you get to Level 39, then just kill any more Heartless lying around the in the previous rooms. It'll help, because for some reason, after opening this room, the Defenders get stupid and are easier to fool and defeat. Strike the door. Use a blue card, 3 or less card, and the Key of Beginnings. ---CUTSCENE--- We meet Belle. A lot more talking and we hide. We see Maleficent and her and Belle talk. Maleficent dissapears and takes Belle. Off with the Key of Guidance we go! ---Room 6--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 39 See, we spared some cards when we didn't unlock this door from Room 4. Kill the Heartless and go back out. ---Room 4--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 40 Go right once, then go up into the Moogle Room. Synthesize the door with a green card, a 7 or more, and the Key of Guidance. ---CUTSCENE--- We see Maleficent trying to make Belle call Beast so he can fall for the trap. As usual the party comes to the rescue. But then we see that Beast is here. But Belle tells him to leave and that she doesn't wish to see his face, only so he won't get hurt, but he does, not physically but emotionally. He explains why he is the way he is, and his background story. He tells Belle that he won't leave. He says to consider it his final selfish act. Maleficent then says that Beast's heart is more pure than Belle's and that she will claim his instead. Belle tells her not to. She runs in front of the attack. She turns into a heart, which floats into Maleficent's scepter. She dissapears. The party offers their help. The Key to Truth is ours. ---Save Room--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 40 Go back to Moogle Room then continue all the way to the last room in the path, the White Room. ---White Room--- ENEMIES: White Mushrooms RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 40 Strike the door. Use a red card, a 0 card, and the Key to Truth. ---CUTSCENE--- We meet Maleficent and we talk more. She turns to a dragon form and attacks. _________________________________ //EVIL FAIRYTALE WITCH - MALEFICENT\\ --------------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Stomp: Maleficent stomps and makes a shockwave. Lunge: She launches her head at you to attack. Fire: She breathes green fire which spreads on the ground. -------- STRATEGY -------- Maleficent isn't too hard. You can win with normal attacks. Avoid her attempts to kill you, and keep doing combos. She has a tiny pinch of a third health bar but don't fret, you can still win easily. Keep attacking, and use stocked Sleights and summon combos. Green Mickey 0 cards create a little pillar for you to stand on to reach her head. After winning, grab the card and the EXP. - Belle comes back to us, and we talk more. ---Room 7--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 40 Climb the ladder, save, and go on. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL11 ---CUTSCENE--- The party meets Vexen. Sora asks why he is controlling Riku, and Vexen says he sees no need in telling Sora, since he'll be dead soon anyway. So it is Vexen who's making Riku evil... ___________________ //THE ICE MAN - VEXEN\\ ------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Attack: Vexen slashes Sora with his spiked shield. Blizzard: He casts Blizzard on Sora. Sleight - Freeze: He freezes Sora and he constantly loses health while frozen. Sleight - Diamond Dust: He makes a big blizzard of ice appear. Sleight - Iceneedles: Pillars of ice spike from the ground and follow you in a path. -------- STRATEGY -------- Vexen is a pain. Mainly the only worry is his shield. He is guarding almost all the fight and has two health bars. The only times he's open is RIGHT after an attack, refilling, and behind him. Just constantly get behind him and unleash combos. The stocked combo of three Clouds to make Omnislash works well again. After he's gone, grab the Mega-Ether. - He says that it was a splendid fight. Vexen tells that he delved deep into Sora's memory during the fight. He created a new world card from it. He says that if Sora wishes to REALLY fight him, use the card and fight him in the world. He says the world is made from memories locked in the other side of Sora's heart, and he vanishes. ---Floor 10--- Talk and go up. ---CUTSCENE--- We see Axel, Marluxia, and Larxene. Larxene asks if Vexen really lost it. She says he did something very rash. She asks Axel what is next, and says that the show is over if Sora finds out about the other side. Axel says that if he passes through without catching on then they can patch things up later. Marluxia says to let Namine handle it, then says that Axel knows what to do. Axel says he doesn't, and Marluxia says to get rid of the traitor. Axel says its done. The party talks about the card and we go on. ---Floor 11--- Save, talk, and go to the stairs. We see a new world... _______________________ _____TWILIGHT TOWN_____TWITOW ---CUTSCENE--- The party talks about where they are, and the story unwravels a little. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Super Strong Versions of - Shadow, Soldier, Air Soldier RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 41 Kill the stronger Heartless. Synthesize the door with a 1 or more. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 42 Kill the Heartless. Synthesize the bottom door with a Moogle Room. ---Moogle Room/Room 3--- ENEMIES: None/Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 42 Moogle Room: Use it and strike the door. Normal Room: Kill the Heartless and strike the door. Synthesize with an 8 or more. ---Room 4--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 42 Skip all the Heartless, there's a lot. Strike the door and use a 9 or more card. ---Room 5--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 42 Kill the Heartless. Go back to Room 2. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 43 Strike the top door, synthesize with 7 or more. ---Room 6--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 43 Fight and strike the top door. Synthesize with a 1 or more. ---Room 7--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 43 Fight the Heartless and strike the door. Synthesize with: 1 value 5 or more card, 1 value 5 or less card, 1 blue card, and the Key of Beginnings. ---CUTSCENE--- We see the party outside a mansion. Sora says that the place feels familiar. We talk more and Vexen appears. He asks if his memories of Namine are more real than the feelings of familiarity here, or vice versa. He says Namine. Vexen talks more, and says Sora is bound by the chains of memory, and that the other side of his heart knows this place. He says that if Sora refuses to believe it, he might as well throw his heart away. He says Sora is no Keyblade Master nor a master of anything, just a slave of twisted memories. He says Sora is just like Riku, not fit to exist. Vexen calls Riku his. Sora accuses Vexen of changing him. Sora says that everything Vexen said is a lie, and that he will take him down and save Riku and Namine. He says that's what is in his heart. Sleight - Iceburn: He causes ice spots to appear everywhere. If you step on them, these puddles make you slip and become vulnerable to attack. Sleight - Iceneedles: Pillars of ice spike from the ground and follow you in a path. Sleight - Diamond Dust: He makes a big blizzard of ice appear. -------- STRATEGY -------- Same strategy as before, just tweak it to adjust to Iceburn and Iceneedles: Vexen is a pain. Mainly the only worry is his shield. He is guarding almost all the fight and has two health bars. The only times he's open is RIGHT after an attack, refilling, and behind him. Just constantly get behind him and unleash combos. The stocked combo of three Clouds to make Omnislash works well again. - After winning, pick up the Vexen card. Vexen says that you must be exterminated because you're so dangerous, even at the mercy of your memory. Sora tells to put Riku back the way he was. Vexen says that Sora knows nothing, and that Riku's one fate is to sink into darkness. Vexen says that it will happen to Sora too. He says that if he continues to seek Namine, the shackles will tighten, then he'll lose his heart and become Marluxia's pawn. Sora asks who Marluxia is and what he has to do with Nami- and is cut off. A light flashes and we hear Vexen gasp. The light fades, and we see Axel behind Vexen, holding out his weapon. Vexen falls to his knees. Vexen asks Axel why he did this. Axel tells Vexen its about time for him to shut up, forever. Vexen tells him not to do it. Axel tells him that they're nobodies, and they have no one to be, but they still "are." He tells Vexen to look on the bright side: he's off the hook. Vexen can now be nothing instead of nobody. Vexen pleads for mercy. He says that Vexen can now say he doesn't respect his elders. Axel kills him. Sora asks who they are, and Axel says that he wishes he knew that answer himself. He vanishes. ---Room 8--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 45 Climb the ladder, save, and go one. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL12 ---CUTSCENE--- We see Axel arrive back. He, Larxene, and Marluxia talk, watched by Namine. This talking goes on for a while, and the plot is shown a little more. They talk some more, then Marluxia and Larxene vanish. We see the party back and Riku's here again. Sora says Vexen is gone and Riku is free. Riku says that he is saving Namine because his heart told him so. He says that he made a promise to Namine to keep her safe. He starts talking about the night when there was a meteor shower...which was when Sora made the promise, not Riku. Sora knows it was his so he finishes Riku's sentence. Riku asks how Sora knows, while he puts his weapon down. Sora tells him it was his promise, and Riku calls him a liar. Sora asks why she gave him the good luck charm and pulls it out. Riku is puzzled and stunned. He utters the question of where Sora got that, and then the screen turns to negative colors. It changes back and Riku goes on the offensive. He says that Sora's is a fake, and he pulls out another good luck charm. Sora asks how there is two of them. Riku says he'll teach Sora to make stuff up. Sleight - Dark Firaga: He shoots a ball of dark, yet white, fire at Sora. -------- STRATEGY -------- This fight is no different than the last. Follow the same strategy. Here it is again if you need it: Dark Riku is no different than the last fight, except he has a Sleight move now which is called Dark Firaga. --New Addition-- Using Omnislash makes quick work of him. His attacks are a lot weaker now that we've leveled up so you should have no problem. He still has two health bars. You'd think he'd have three or something. After defeating Riku for the third time, you'll probably level up. - Riku runs off again, but drops the good luck charm. Sora examines it, and its just like the one she gave him. He wonders how Riku got it. It floats into the air and turns into a card, another world card. ---Floor 11--- Talk and go up. ---CUTSCENE--- Donald asks someone to explain what's going on. Sora says it doesn't matter. Donald disagrees, and says that they both have the same memories. He says they both can't be right. Sora takes offense as if Donald said Sora was wrong, and complains. Goofy says Sora is wrong about what Donald said, and Sora just says to hurry up. He yells at them and tells them to come on. Goofy asks what has happened to Sora, and Sora asks what it means. Goofy tells him he gets touchy when it comes to Namine, and asks him if he ever asked himself why. Donald says that before they came to Castle Oblivion, he didn't know her name, and now Namine is all he thinks about. Goofy says it doesn't make sense and Sora should stop and think things through. Sora says that is abandoning her what Goofy means by saying think it through. Donald tries to disagree and Sora cuts him off. Sora tells them do whatever they want, he doesn't care. He charges off and says that he alone is going to find Namine. Donald is stunned. We see Axel talking to Namine. He says that she is the only thing "he" has left and if she doesn't stop all this, no one will. She says that its too late. Axel says he doesn't think she should give up yet. He then asks if she's seen Marluxia around. She asks what he means, and he says that no one is here to stop her. She stands up, and he tells her to: "Do it right." She runs off. Axel grins and starts laughing, but we can't tell if it be good or bad. He says that what's going to happen will be great, and then: "All the actors are in place. Now, Sora! Riku! Marluxia! Larxene! It's about time you gave me one hell of a show!" We see Sora and Jiminy tells him to talk to Donald and Goofy. He is cut off, and Sora tells him to keep it to himself. ---Floor 12--- Here we lose the Donald and Goofy cards, so if you use them a lot, then its bad for you. Save and go to the door. Choose the next location... _________________________ _____DESTINY ISLANDS_____DESISL ---CUTSCENE--- Sora asks himself if he is going crazy. He remembers this as the place Namine and him used to play. We see Selphie, Wakka, and Tidus come up. Sora and them talk for a minute or two. They start saying that Sora is thinking about "her" and that he probably wants them to leave so they can be alone together. Sora says he guesses, though he's confused. We get the Key of Beginnings. ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: Stronger Versions of - Crescendo, Tornade Step, Creeper Plant, Darkball, Shadow RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 46 Kill the Heartless. Strike and synthesize the door with 1 or more. ---Room 2--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 46 Kill the Heartless and synthesize the next room with a Moment's Reprieve. ---Save Room--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 47 Save and hit the right door. Use a 2 card, an 8 card, and the Key of Beginnings. ---CUTSCENE--- We see Riku. After some talking, the place shakes. Now we have to go rescue "her." ---Room 1--- ENEMIES: None now RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 48 Go back to the Save Room. ---Save Room--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 48 Use the top door and synthesize with 7 or more. ---Room 3--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 48 Kill the Heartless. Use the door with an 8 or more. ---Room 4--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 48 Kill the Heartless. Use the door with a 9 or more. ---Room 5--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 48 Kill the Heartless. Use the right door with a 0. ---Room 6--- ENEMIES: Same as previous RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 48 Kill the Heartless. Strike the door and synthesize to a value of 50 and the Key of Guidance. ---CUTSCENE--- We rush out here to see Darkside. __________________________ //DEMON HEARTLESS - DARKSIDE\\ -------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Heartless Fist: Darkside slams his hand into the ground to make Shadows appear. Shockwave Fist: He slams his hand on the ground to make a shockwave. Dark Light: He shoots a big ball of light at Sora. Light Shower: He shoots a light ball in the air to make lots of light balls rain down. -------- STRATEGY -------- Darkside is relatively easy. He just has a WHOLE lot of health. He has up to a 4th bar of health, but its only filled halfway. The only attack to avoid really in the Light Shower. Card Break to stop it. Keep using combos, summons, magic, and all that other stuff to win. - After the fight, we see Sora on the cliff. He says he needs to keep her safe, and calls for Namine who is right there. She says that she's wanted to see him too, after he says he wanted to see her. But she says she messed up. She didn't want to see him like this. He asks "not like what?" She responds: "I've been alone for so long. I could not bear it anymore...So I beckoned your heart to lead you here. And I'm so glad you found me. But your heart, I had to - " "No, it's ok. I promised I'd protect you. That's why I came." "Thank you. Oh, Sora, forgive me...I'm not supposed to be in this picture." "She's right." Another Namine appears: (For the sake of confusion, the first Namine you were talking to is evil. The second one is good.) S: "Namine!?" Evil N: "That's not me." Good N: "I'm not in your heart." Evil N: "I'm not in anyone's heart." Good N: "I never have been." S: "What...What are you saying Namine? What's gotten into you?" The place starts to get wavy: S: "We were inseperable! But then I lost you...I came here so I'd never lose you again!" Good N: "Was it really me you came for?" S: "Of course it was! I may have forgotten things in the castle, but not you! Look! You gave me this, didn't you?" Evil N: "You still have it! My good luck charm..." Good N: "No, Sora! Don't believe me!" S: "What am I supposed to do..." Good N: "Think, Sora. Think of the person who's most special to you. See that faint glimmer way in the back of your heart? That's a piece of your memory, Sora. Call out to it! No matter how far away you get, your heart's voice will always reach it." S: "But I already know who's most special to me. It's you, Na - " We see a cinema where the good luck charm turns into the drawn good luck charm that Kairi gave Sora. He looks up to see Namine, back facing him. She turns around and changes to Kairi. Then the cinema ends. Sora is alone in a different area of the islands now. He doesn't remember Kairi but he knows she is familiar. But then he remembers Namine, and hurries off to find her. We get a new Keyblade, the Oathkeeper. ---Room 7--- ENEMIES: None RECCOMENDED LEVEL: 48 Climb the ladder, save, and go through. _________________________ _____CASTLE OBLIVION_____CASOBL13 ---CUTSCENE--- We see the real Namine, the one who appeared during the talk with the fake one. We see the good Namine. Sora tells her that she's not who is most special to him. She smiles and says no. She tells him that "she" is. Sora says he can't think of her name. He asks why he can't remember if she's so special to him. She tells him that its because she went into his memorie, and she is cut off. Riku comes and says to let him explain. He tells Sora his memory is a train wreck. He says that Sora isn't meant to protect Namine, he is...: "But you and your messed up memories always get in the way!" ______________________________________ //EVIL FORM OF A LOST FRIEND - DARK RIKU\\ -------------------------------------- ------- ATTACKS ------- Normal Attacks: Dark Riku attacks normally with his blade. Spin Slash: He spins and swings his blade to knock Sora back. Use Item Cards: He uses Item Cards to aid him. Jump Slash: He jumps up in the air and slams the blade down on Sora. Combo: He uses normal attack combos which actually hurt a lot. Sleight - Dark Firaga: He shoots a ball of dark, yet white, fire at Sora. Sleight - Dark Aura: He makes the screen go black and he shoots around the whole room and repeatedly goes through Sora with his sword. When he lands, he causes almost the whole floor to have big firey auras shoot up from it. -------- STRATEGY -------- Dark Riku is a real pain this time around: 3 health bars and the new Sleight attack, Dark Aura. Dark Aura will take almost a third of your health away. DON'T let him use it. To beat him though, follow the same strategy: combos, Sleights like Ars Arcanum or Judgment(yes, it's correctly spelled) if you have found it in a chest, Omnislash, summons, magic, etc. Also, using Firaga seems to work REALLY well. Just stock 3 Fires and attack. Finally, one thing that works the best in this fight is the Sleight Ragnarok. To use it, stock 3 Keyblade cards with a total value of 7 to 9. After the fight, you'll probably level up. So if you don't have the Sleight move Ragnarok yet, choose Sleight and see if you get it. ---Floor 12--- Walk up to Riku. ---CUTSCENE--- Sora checks to see if Riku is alright, and Riku does a sneak attack. While he is down on his knees, Riku hits Sora with his sword which knocks Sora some feet back. Namine screams. Sora asks Riku why he did it, as Riku comes over and raises his sword to Sora, whom is on the ground. Riku says it looks like he wins. Namine tells him to stop. Riku then says: "You're through, you fake!" But then Namine screams to stop, then screen flashes negative colors, and Riku falls down. Sora asks Namine what she did, but Larxene comes and answers. "She broke his heart. More like smashed it, really." "Smashed!? That means he's... he's..." "Ah ha ha! You're so much fun to watch. If it's Riku you're worried about, worry no longer. Riku was never here." "What do you mean?" "You want me to tell you? Gee... I really HATE spoilers..." "Quit playing games!" "All right, have it your way. It'll kill you to here this - but I can live with that. That thing lying there is a puppet Vexen made. Nothing more than a toy. It's laughable, really. It called you a fake, but IT was the fabrication all along." "A fake? A fake Riku!?" "Fake in every way. It was only finished recently. And without any past, how could it remember anything? Its memories with Namine were planted, not real. All this time it's been picking fights with you over bogus memories. Isn't that right, Namine? Behind that cute little face you do some awful things." "No...not Namine." "You are so STUPID. Don't you get it? Messing with people's memories is about all she's good at. She steps into people's hearts and rearranges their memory. If she wants, she can even draw new memories of things that never happened. The girl you've been dying to protect...is a manipulative witch who shackles people's hearts with phony memories!" "Then my memory...Everything I remember...it's..." "Lies, lies. All lies! An illusion Namine made. Binding you to the chains of your own memory was central to our trap. It makes me tingle to how easily you were duped. This was our chance to make the Keyblade master our puppet! We nearly had you...But that jerk Axel used Namine to wreck everything! He betrayed us!" [So Axel is good!] "You'll pay..." Namine jumps in front of Larxene. "Don't!" Larxene tells Namine it's too late to grow a conscien
