Introduction ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yoshi's Island is the sequel to Super Mario World on the SNES. This game is set in the past, when Mario is a baby, and is dropped by a stork onto Yoshi's Island. The Yoshis get together and decide to return Mario to his parents, but Bowser interferes, and sends a huge range of enemies out into the many levels of the game. Unlike previous Mario games, you control Yoshi instead of Mario. This game has excellent graphics, from the start of the game all the way to the end. The screen scrolls left and right very smoothly, and gives quite a zoomed out view to allow you to see quite far into the distance before you even get there. There is great detail on the foreground as well as the background, and though all of the levels are different from one another, they all retain the same amount of detail. In all, there are six worlds in this game, each of which contain eight normal levels and one secret level. Add to that one tutorial level, and there are fifty-five levels! Quite an incredible statistic for a game, considering the size and detail in each and every level, most of which contain new enemies and all of which contain new and original backgrounds, items, and tasks to do. At the end each level, you're given a score depending on how many of the required items you picked up on your journey through the level. More often than not, these items are hidden high up in difficult to reach places. Finding them all in a single level can be difficult, especially when you have an abundance of enemies rushing at you from all different directions. But if you do happen to get 100% in the eight normal levels on a world, the secret, extra-difficult level will be unlocked. Overall, Yoshi's Island is a superb game. It's one of the few games that I've bought for my SNES which I still play occasionally. The originality and size of the game are incredible, with 55 huge levels and 127 enemies. Try not to be put off by first appearances, as what may first seem to be a simple game will soon turn into one of the most complex and difficult platform games on the SNES. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2. Moves ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eat Upon pressing Y, Yoshi sticks his tongue out. Providing he's close enough to an enemy, Yoshi will usually grab them. From here, you can either spit them out or swallow them. Hover Hold B in the air to hover. This move can be used to travel long distances, and to reach places that you wouldn't be able to with a normal jump. Jump The basic jump. Run Continue to hold left or right, and Yoshi will run fast in that direction. Shoot Providing Yoshi has at least one egg, tapping A to display the egg target, and then releasing A, Yoshi will shoot an egg in the direction he's facing. Spit When Yoshi has an enemy in his mouth, tap Y to spit them out. This is useful for defeating other enemies and opening winged clouds. Stomp While in the air, press down to stomp the ground. This can be used to defeat strong enemies, but as it's quite a slow move, it can be very difficult to hit the faster enemies. Swallow When Yoshi has an enemy in his mouth, tap down to swallow them. Yoshi will receive an egg. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3. Items ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beanstalk Some winged clouds contain a seed which drops to the ground, which will then transform into a beanstalk. You can climb the leaves on the beanstalk to reach a higher point of the level. Blue Watermelon When Yoshi collects this, he can freeze enemies by shooting ice at them. The enemy will be defeated when Yoshi touches them. Chomp Rock Chomp Rock is a large circular rock which can be pushed by Yoshi. Chomp Rock can defeat most enemies. Coin The most common item in the game. Collect 100 to get one extra life. Crate A large crate. Stomp it to reveal six stars. Donut Lift A circular platform which drops when you stand on it. Egg Yoshi can collect eggs either by eating enemies, or by hitting special egg blocks along the way. Eggs are very useful in hitting enemies or other objects from a long distance. Egg Block A green block which drops eggs when you hit it. Egg Plant The Egg Plant is a small plant which fires out eggs. It will stop shooting eggs once Yoshi has six eggs. Expansion Block A block that grows in size when you hit it. Comes in useful for getting to higher parts of levels. Flower There are five flowers in each level. Collect all five to get 50% completion of a level. Goal Ring Jump through the goal ring to complete a level. Green Watermelon The most common watermelon in the game. After Yoshi eats this, he will be able to spit tiny seeds which defeat most enemies. Hut A locked hut, which contains bonus level. You will need to find a key to open the hut. Key A key which opens locked doors. Keys can be found in various places, such as winged clouds or vases. Manual Rotating Platform A platform which you have to operate by jumping from one platform to the other. Message Block A white block which gives tips on playing the game. Metamorphosis Bubble A floating bubble which transfers Yoshi into a form of vehicle. Middle Ring Pass through this ring to save your progress in the level. Needlenose Plant A variation of the egg plant which spits out Needlenoses. Red Coin There are twenty red coins in each level. Collect all twenty to get 20% completion of a level. Red Watermelon When Yoshi collects this, he is able to shoot fire. Pipe A very common object in the game. Some pipes generate enemies, some pipes lead to secret areas, and some pipes do nothing at all. Post Posts in the game vary in height, but all can be stomped. Some posts reveal hidden objects when they are stomped to a certain height. Red Switch The Red Switch can reveal invisible objects, such as platforms and coins. Some red switches also reveal a red arrow, which points to a secret area. Rotating Platform A platform which moves along a set path. There are automatic platforms which rotate by themselves, and manual platforms which the player has to operate. Star There are thirty stars in each level. Collect all thirty to get 30% completion of a level. Super Star When Yoshi collects this, Mario will transform into Powerful Mario, who is invincible and can run up walls. Spring Ball Either a small or a large ball with an arrow on it, which can launch Yoshi to higher points of a level. Tulip A red flower. Shoot an egg into the flower when it opens to get eight stars. Vase A vase, which usually can be found on a ledge. Vases commonly contain objects such as keys, but you will need to smash the vase first to reveal the object. Winged Cloud A small winged cloud. Shoot an egg at the cloud for items. As this is a tutorial level, there isn't too much to worry about in the way of enemies and other dangers, so I'll use this section of the guide to explain about some of the basic controls used in the game. For more specific information, hints and advice on playing the game, hit the various message blocks in the game. At the start of the game, press right on the D-Pad and scroll through the messages that pop up on screen. Run past the red arrow on the right to come to the first enemy in the game: a Shy Guy. There are various ways to beat enemies in this game. As enemies get more difficult later on in the game, some ways may work better or worse than others, or may not work at all. Here are all of the ways to beat the Shy Guys in this section of the level: -Option 1: Jump- This is the most basic option for beating most of the easy enemies. Just jump up by pressing X and land on top of the Shy Guy. -Option 2: Pound- Jump up over the top of the Shy Guy and press down to make Yoshi stamp on the floor. This is more powerful than the jump, but is much slower. For slow enemies such as the Shy Guy in this section of the level, this is fine, but you will need to be accurate. -Option 3: Spit- Get close to the first Shy Guy and press Y to grab him. Press Y again to spit the enemy out. This is useful for defeating a second enemy, such as the second Shy Guy in this section of the level. -Option 4: Egg- Get close to the first Shy Guy and press Y to grab him. Press down to create an egg. With the egg, face the second shy guy and press A to bring up a target. Egg throwing is one of the most useful features for defeating enemies in the game, but can look quite confusing at first. When the egg target comes up, wait until it points toward the second Shy Guy, and then press A again to shoot the egg. To pause the egg target, press either the L or R button. To bring up the target and not shoot an egg at all, press down on the D-Pad or press Y to cancel the egg. With both Shy Guys out of the way, continue right to come to a platform consisting of five blocks, with some coins high above. The middle block is purple, and increases in size when hit. Hit the purple block, and then jump up to the top of it. You can now collect the coins that were too high to reach before. Jump off the right side of the purple block and land on the rock. Jump up to the next rock on the right to land near a message block. Hitting the block will give information on the Hovering Jump, which can be used to cross large distances or gain extra height in jumps. Run right until you come to the edge of the path, and then jump high into the gap. Hold up, right and X to hover up to the top of the high rock on the other side. Walk right to come to a small spring ball. Spring balls are used to help Yoshi bounce much higher than a normal jump. For a spring ball to work, jump high and then jump again as soon as you land on the ball. Launch up to the rock high up on the right, and then run right to come to a large spring ball. This is similar to the small spring ball, but it launches Yoshi much higher. Use this ball to launch up to the rock on the right. Go right after landing to arrive near two Shy Guys. Use any of the four possible attacks shown earlier in this level walkthrough to defeat the Shy Guys, and then run right to exit the level. _______________________________________________________________________________ World 1 _______________________________________________________________________________ =============================================================================== 1-1: Make Eggs, Throw Eggs =============================================================================== -------------- - Statistics - -------------- Coins - 74 Enemies - Baron Von Zeppelin Crazee Dayzee Fly Guy Pirahna Plant Shy Guy Woozy Guy --------------- - Walkthrough - --------------- - Flower 1 - Run right when the level starts, and pass under the message block to come to two Shy Guys. Eat both Shy Guys to create two eggs, and continue right until you see a platform above with a Shy Guy on it. Jump up to the platform and eat the Shy Guy to make a third egg, and then jump off the right side of the platform to collect the first flower. - Flower 2 - After landing on the blue rock, eat the Shy Guy and jump high off the right side of the rock to avoid a Pirahna Plant. Run under the second message block to arrive near a platform with a winged cloud above. Jump up to the platform, eat the Shy Guy, and shoot an egg at the cloud, which will create some steps leading up to the left. Climb the steps to the long platform at the top, and collect the middle row of six red coins. Go to the far left side of the platform to collect the second flower. - Flower 3 - As soon as you collect the second flower, a Fly Guy holding a winged cloud will appear up on the left. He doesn't stay for long, so quickly shoot an egg at him to burst the cloud, which will make five stars fall down to the platform below. Collect the stars, and then jump back up to the platform on the right. Run right and go down the steps to the platform at the bottom. Drop down off the right edge to activate two Pirahna Plants. Shoot an egg at the bottom plant, and go down the pipe on the other side. After arriving in the cave, go right and drop off the edge to land near an egg block. Hit the block to collect eggs, and then go right. Before collecting any of the items above, push Chomp Rock all the way to the wall on the right to defeat two Shy Guys. Leave the rock near the wall, and run back left to the start of the cave. Shoot eggs at the six red coins in the area, and shoot the two Fly Guys to make them each drop a red coin. Shoot an egg at the Baron Von Zeppelin holding the extra life, and push Chomp Rock back over to the wall at the right side of the cave. Shoot an egg off the ceiling so that it rebounds into the open tulip, which will throw out eight stars. Collect all the stars, and run right. Jump on Chomp Rock, hop up to the ledge on the right, and then go up the pipe. After emerging from the pipe, jump over the wall on the left to collect the third flower. - Flower 4 - Walk up the small steep slope on the right, and jump across the gap to land on the blue rock. Shoot an egg at the Pirahna Plant that appears, and then jump down to any one of the four purple circling platforms. When the platform goes low, drop down off the right side of the platform to land on a long platform. Collect all four red coins on the platform and run over to the left side to collect the fourth flower. - Flower 5 - Jump back on one of the circling platforms and jump off to land on the blue rock up on the right. Run down the slope to find a pipe which Shy Guys are jumping out of. Eat the Shy Guys until Yoshi has six eggs, and then shoot an egg up at the winged cloud above, collecting the five stars that fall. Jump over the pipe and continue right, eating both Crazee Dayzees along the way. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud, and climb up the left side of the newly created beanstalk. Near the top of the beanstalk, jump off to land on the rock on the left, and continue left to find a winged cloud off the edge of a rock. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud to reveal the fifth and final flower. Jump off the rock to collect the flower, and hover right to land on a rock below. Although it seems there is nothing on this rock, run right to reveal a hidden winged cloud. Shoot an egg at the cloud to reveal five stars, and then drop down off the left side of the rock. Go right and climb back up the beanstalk to the top, but this time jump up to one of the purple circling platforms above. Collect the two red coins when the platform gets to the highest point, and then jump over to the blue rock on the right. Go right to find Chomp Rock. Push it down the hill on the right to defeat two Shy Guys and a Pirahna Plant. Jump over Chomp Rock to land on the blue rock on the other side. Shoot the neabry winged cloud for five stars. From the rock, run right and jump over the five Shy Guys to come to the goal ring. Jump through the goal ring to complete the level. --------- - Items - --------- 1UP - Floating under a Baron Von Zeppelin in the cave. Flower 1 - Above the first blue rock. Flower 2 - When the steps are created from hitting the first winged cloud, run up the steps to the platform and go left to find this flower. Flower 3 - After exiting the cave, jump over the wall on the left to find this flower. Flower 4 - At the bottom-left corner of the first rotating purple platform. Flower 5 - After climbing the beanstalk, go left and shoot the winged cloud to reveal this flower. 6 Red Coins - When the steps are created from hitting the first winged cloud, run up the steps to the platform. The middle row of six coins are red coins. 2 Red Coins - Shoot the two Fly Guys in the cave to make them drop a red coin each. 6 Red Coins - Shoot eggs at the six red tinted coins in the cave. 4 Red Coins - On the platform below the first rotating purple platform. 2 Red Coins - Above the second rotating purple platform. 5 Stars - When the steps are created from hitting the first winged cloud, run up the steps to the platform and go left past the flower to find a Fly Guy holding a cloud. Shoot an egg at the cloud to reveal five stars. 8 Stars - In the cave, shoot an egg off the ceiling so that it rebounds into the open tulip, which will throw out eight stars. 5 Stars - Near the beanstalk, there is a winged cloud above a pipe. Shoot the winged cloud for five stars. 5 Stars - Near the top of the beanstalk, jump off to the left, and continue left to the edge of the rock. Jump off the rock and hold right to land on the rock below. Run right to reveal a hidden winged cloud which contains five stars. 5 Stars - Shoot the winged cloud above the Woozy Guys near the end of the level. =============================================================================== 1-2: Watch Out Below! =============================================================================== -------------- - Statistics - -------------- Coins - 101 Enemies - Chomp Crazee Dayzee Fly Guy Gusty Pirahna Plant Shy Guy --------------- - Walkthrough - --------------- - Flower 1 - Run right at the start of the level and jump up the small step. Go up the slope and drop down the other side to arrive near two Shy Guys. Eat both Shy Guys and continue right. Go up the slope and jump at the top to collect the first flower. - Flower 2 - From this point in the level to the first middle ring, Chomps will jump from the background to make gaps in the floor. The first Chomp will make a gap in the floor just after the first flower. Jump the gap and eat the Crazee Dayzee on the other side, and then continue up the slope to the top. Jump over the small ledge to land near six coins, then quickly hold right and stop under the third and fourth coins, which are red coins. Jump up to collect the red coins, and continue right, jumping over the various gaps along the way, to come to a winged cloud. A Chomp will fall down and create a gap under the winged cloud, so don't go near it just yet. When the Chomp has created the gap, shoot the winged cloud to reveal the second flower, and jump over the gap to collect it. - Flower 3 - Go right and drop down the step to land near six more coins. The red coins are the four middle coins, but be careful as Chomps can create gaps under the first and fourth coin. Use a Hover jump to collect the coins, and continue right to come to a post. Jump over the first post and eat both Shy Guys, and then shoot an egg up at the winged cloud to receive five stars. Collect the stars, then jump over the second post and continue right to pass the Middle Ring. Go right to come to a Shy Guy pipe, and eat Shy Guys until Yoshi has six eggs. This will stop the Shy Guys coming out of the pipe, so you can have some time to look around. Shoot an egg at the fluffy ceiling above and collect the four red coins that are up there, and then shoot an egg through the fluffy wall on the right. Shoot a final egg up through the ceiling to make the spring ball fall down. Go and collect some more eggs by eating the enemies coming out of the Shy Guy pipe, and then bounce up to the next area by using the spring ball. After landing on the platform, two red arrows will be pointing right. Although you can go left, it only leads through a hidden tunnel in the wall to an area with an expansion block. So follow the arrows advice and go right through the hidden wall. Jump up the two platforms to come to a junction. If you choose to go right here, you can follow a path along to a hidden winged cloud which contains a 1UP. Apart from the 1UP though, there's nothing else of interest, so go left at the junction to come to two more platforms. Jump up the platforms and go left at the junction to pass through the second middle ring in the level. After passing the second middle ring, go right and jump over the small gap. On the other side of the hidden tunnel, run under the message block and enter the hidden tunnel on the right. Bounce off the small spring ball and exit the hidden tunnel high up on the right. Go down the slope on the other side to arrive near a message block and a Metamorphosis Bubble. Touch the bubble to transform into a helicopter. Fly right and go under the first hidden tunnel section to collect two red coins. Go up after collecting the final coin to collect the third flower. - Flower 4 - Continue right after collecting the third flower, and pass through the set of coins that lead down and right. After these coins, there will be a section of wall which has three hidden entrances, one on the left, one on the right and one at the bottom. Go up through the tunnel at the bottom of the wall to find the fourth flower. - Flower 5 - Exit the tunnel and then fly up and right past the Gusty. When you see the floating island over on the right (which has arrows pointing down and right on it), go right along the island and then go up and right at the end. When you come to the two red arrows on the ceiling that point down, go up close to the arrows and then fly through the hidden tunnel on the right. Follow the tunnel down and right to collect three red coins, and then fly down and left after exiting the tunnel to hit the Yoshi Block, which will return Yoshi to normal. Run right to come to a pipe, but don't enter it just yet. Instead, jump up to one of the platforms on either side of the pipe, and then jump up into the small hidden area just above the platforms to collect two more red coins. Drop down to the pipe and go down it. After arriving in the final area, shoot an egg at the winged cloud to reveal the fifth flower. Quickly shoot the Fly Guy holding the 1UP, and then jump up to collect the flower. Run right and hover jump over the Pirahna Plant to collect the three red coins. On the other side, eat the nearby Shy Guy, and shoot an egg at the winged cloud to reveal five stars. Run right, eating the Crazee Dayzee and Shy Guy along the way, and watch out for the final Chomp which creates a gap just left of the red arrow. Jump over the gap, and jump through the goal ring on the other side to complete the level. --------- - Items - --------- 1UP - After passing the first middle ring, use the large spring ball behind the wall on the right to jump up into the area above. Go right at the first junction, and right at the second junction. Continue right and drop down off the edge of the path next to the arrow pointing left. After landing, continue right and run through two hidden walls right to reveal a hidden cloud near a third wall. Shoot an egg at the cloud to receive a 1UP. 1UP - After arriving in the final area of the level, shoot an egg at the Fly Guy at the right side of the first winged cloud. Flower 1 - Found at the top of the slope just after the first two Shy Guys in the level. Flower 2 - Shoot an egg at the first winged cloud in the level to reveal this flower. Flower 3 - After Yoshi has transformed into a helicopter, fly right and go under the first hidden tunnel section to find this flower. Flower 4 - About half-way through the journey from the Metamorphosis Bubble to the Yoshi Block, there will be a set of coins leading down and right. After these coins, there will be a section of wall. Go up through the hidden tunnel at the bottom of the wall to find the fourth flower. Flower 5 - After arriving in the final area of the level, shoot an egg at the first winged cloud to reveal this flower. 2 Red Coins - About half-way through the first Chomp area, there are six coins in a line. The third and fourth coins are red. 4 Red Coins - When you come to the second set of six coins in the first Chomp area, collect the four middle red coins. 4 Red Coins - After passing the first middle ring, shoot an egg up at the ceiling to collect four red coins (first, third, fourth and sixth coins). 2 Red Coins - After Yoshi has transformed into a helicopter, fly right and go under the first hidden tunnel section to collect these red coins. 3 Red Coins - After Yoshi has transformed into a helicopter, fly along to the Yoshi Block, but don't touch it. Instead, go straight up to the ceiling with the arrows pointing down, and then fly right to enter a hidden tunnel which contains these coins. 2 Red Coins - At the end of the area with the helicopter, there is a pipe which leads to the next area. There is a small secret area above the pipe which contains these coins. 3 Red Coins - After arriving in the final area of the level, run right and hover jump over the Pirahna Plant to collect the three coins. 5 Stars - Shoot the winged cloud above the two Shy Guys near the end of the first Chomp area. 10 Stars - Go through the first middle ring. 1 Star - After passing the first middle ring, run right to find a single star. 10 Stars - Go through the second middle ring. 5 Stars - In the final area of the level, shoot an egg at the winged cloud on the right side of the Pirahna Plant. =============================================================================== 1-3: The Cave Of Chomp Rock =============================================================================== -------------- - Statistics - -------------- Coins - 141 Enemies - Fly Guy Lantern Ghost Nipper Plant Paranipper Plant Pirahna Plant Shy Guy --------------- - Walkthrough - --------------- - Flower 1 - This level starts outside, with a green pipe on the right which leads down to the cave. Jump on top of the pipe to activate a Pirahna Plant over on the right, and providing you have some eggs left over, shoot an egg at the plant. With the plant defeated, jump over to the ledge where it used to be to find a hidden winged cloud. Shoot the winged cloud to receive a 1UP, and then go down the pipe. As soon as you arrive in the cave, a Chomp Rock will start rolling down the slope up on the left. Let the rock push you down the slope to the post at the bottom, then jump over the post and stomp the crate on the other side. Collect all six stars, and continue right to find a fluffy wall. Eat the Nipper Plant, and then jump up to the top of the wall. Walk over to the middle of the wall, and stomp the post two times to receive a single red coin. Run right and eat the Shy Guy up on top of the mushroom. Jump up to the mushroom, and hover jump over the Nipper Plants below to collect the top four red coins. On the other side of the Nipper Plant pit, run right up the steep slope and drop off the end of the path to land on a mushroom. A Chomp Rock is visible over on the right, but don't go there just yet. Instead, drop down to the lowest mushroom, and then go down the gap below it to land in a tunnel. Follow the tunnel down and along, and collect the first flower and the two red coins at the end. - Flower 2 - Eat the two Lantern Ghosts if Yoshi needs more eggs, and then run back up the tunnel and jump out of the gap under the mushroom. Climb up the steps on the right to the Chomp Rock at the top, and push it down the slope. Follow the rock down until it collides with a second Chomp Rock, and then continue following the first rock down the path on the left. Push the rock along the path to defeat two Nipper Plants, and collect the second flower and the two red coins at the end. - Flower 3 - Head back to the right, noticing the door above with the keyhole along the way, and push the Chomp Rock down the slope on the right. Follow the Chomp Rock down into the small cave, and jump up to the mushroom. Collect all four red coins, and shoot an egg at the winged cloud to reveal five stars. Collect the stars and exit the cave on the left. Run up the small slope and jump up to the first slope on the right. Run up the slope in the path, and jump over to the mushroom on the left. Jump up to the platform on the left and pass through the middle ring to receive 10 stars. Drop down off the right side of the platform and continue right up the path to the post, jumping over the rolling Chomp Rock along the way. Wait for the two Nipper Plants to bounce down from the mushrooms up on the right. Eat the Nipper Plants when they get close, and then jump up to the top of the post. Jump up to the first mushroom on the right, and shoot an egg up at the third flower high above to collect it. - Flower 4 - Jump over to the mushroom on the right, and hold up to look up higher. Shoot an egg at the three Baron Von Zeppelins holding the crate up high on the right. When the crate falls down, go over and stomp on it to reveal six stars. Continue right to find three posts. Jump up to the top of the middle post and hold up to see a Baron Von Zeppelin holding a key. Shoot an egg at the Baron Von Zeppelin, and run over to collect the key. With the key, run back to the left and go down the slope to the end of the path. Jump across to the middle path on the left and go along to find a door with a keyhole. Press up to unlock the door and enter the bonus area. In the bonus area, enter the button combinations that are shown to pass the balloon between Yoshi and the Bandit. If the balloon pops on the Bandit, you will get a 1UP. After exiting the bonus level, run right and jump across the gap to the top path. Run up the path and jump over the post. Eat the Lantern Ghost on the other side, and continue right to return to the three posts. Stomp the middle post twice and the right post three times to collect two red coins, and then continue right. Jump up to the high ledge on the right with the three coins on each side. The middle coins on each side are red, so collect those, and continue right to find another Chomp Rock. Push Chomp Rock off the edge of the path and follow it as it rolls right to defeat a Nipper Plant. Jump up to the path on the left, and jump from the mushroom to get up to the next path on the right. Jump up to the next mushroom above, and face left. Shoot an egg up to the top-left corner of the fluffy ceiling to receive a 1UP, then go right and shoot an egg in the direction of the fourth flower to collect it. - Flower 5 - Run down the path on the right and jump onto the first post. Pound the post twice to reveal a winged cloud, then shoot the winged cloud to reveal a red switch. Jump on the red switch and quickly run right to find two posts with a Nipper Plant in the middle. Jump between the posts to land on the Nipper Plant, and then press down to enter a secret area. In the area, collect as many coins as you can on the moving platform, and then use the spring balls at either side to exit the area. After exiting the secret area, jump over the two posts on the right to come to a Chomp Rock. Push the rock slowly up the small slope under the gap on the right, and then go left just before the top of the slope. Stay under the gap, and jump on Chomp Rock as it rolls down. Quickly jump up through the gap and hover jump up to the path on the right. Collect the three red coins at the right side of the area, and then jump over the gap and collect the fifth and final flower at the left side of the area. Jump down the gap and go right up the steep slope to exit the cave of Chomp Rock. Outside, run right and jump over the pipe. Shoot an egg at the Pirahna Plant, and go right to the second Pirahna Plant. Quickly shoot the plant, and then shoot another egg up at the Fly Guy holding the 1UP. Continue right to come to the goal ring, and jump through it to complete the level. --------- - Items - --------- 1UP - Outside the cave at the start of the level, shoot the Pirahna Plant and jump over to the ledge to reveal a winged cloud. Shoot the winged cloud for this 1UP. 1UP - Near the end of the cave, there is an area with a fluffy ceiling. Shoot an egg up to the top-left corner of the ceiling to receive this 1UP. 1UP - A Fly Guy is holding this in the final area of the level. Flower 1 - Shortly after the second message block in the level, there are six mushrooms in the gap on the right. Drop down the gap below the lowest mushroom and follow the tunnel along to the flower. Flower 2 - After passing the area in the cave with the six mushrooms, run down the long slope, and take the lowest path left to find this flower between two coins. Flower 3 - Above the three mushrooms where the Paranipper Plants first appear. Shoot an egg to collect the flower. Flower 4 - Near the end of the cave, there is an area with a fluffy ceiling. Shoot an egg up to the top-right corner of the ceiling to receive collect the flower. Flower 5 - Near the end of the cave, push the final Chomp Rock up the first small slope on the right, and use it jump up through the gap. The final flower can be found on the left side of the area. 1 Red Coin - When you come to the post in a fluffy wall, stomp the post twice to receive this coin. 4 Red Coins - Before the second message block in the level, there is a pit with four Nipper Plants in it. The four top coins over the pit are red. 2 Red Coins - Shortly after the second message block in the level, there are six mushrooms in the gap on the right. Drop down the gap below the lowest mushroom and follow the tunnel along to the coins. 2 Red Coins - After passing the area in the cave with the six mushrooms, run down the long slope, and take the lowest path left to find two coins on either side of a flower. 4 Red Coins - After passing the area in the cave with the six mushrooms, run down the long slope, and take the lowest path right. Push the Chomp Rock down the slope and follow it to arrive in a cave with the red coins above a blue mushroom. 2 Red Coins - Near the end of the Paranipper Plant area, there are three coins in a diagonal line on each side of a ledge. The middle coin on each side is red. 2 Red Coins - Near the end of the Paranipper Plant area, there are three posts at different heights. Stomp the middle post twice for the first coin, and stomp the right post three times for the second coin. 3 Red Coins - Near the end of the cave, push the final Chomp Rock up the first small slope on the right, and use it jump up through the gap. Three red coins can be found at the right side of the area. 6 Stars - Near the start of the cave, there is a crate at the right side of a post. Stomp the crate for six stars. 5 Stars - After passing the area in the cave with the six mushrooms, run down the long slope, and take the lowest path right. Push the Chomp Rock down the slope and follow it to arrive in a cave with a winged cloud, which contains five stars. 10 Stars - Pass through the middle ring, which is just before the area in the cave where the Paranipper Plants first appear. 1 Star - Passing through the middle ring will transform a Shy Guy on a blue mushroom on the left into a star. 6 Stars - Three Baron Von Zeppelins are holding a crate just right of the third flower. Shoot the Baron Von Zeppelins to make them drop the crate, and then pound on it to receive six stars. Key - A single Baron Von Zeppelin is holding a key just right of the third flower. Shoot the Baron Von Zeppelin to make him drop the key. The key can be used to open the doors of the locked hut, which is found on the path above the second flower. Red Switch - After the fluffy ceiling near the end of the cave, there are three posts. Hit the first post twice to find a winged cloud, and then shoot the winged cloud to reveal a red switch. After the sixth egg block, jump over the rotating spikes and continue right to the small spring ball. Use the spring ball to bounce up to the ledge on the right, and then run right to the edge. Drop off the edge and face left. Shoot both Burts to receive some stars, and collect the first flower on the left. - Flower 2 - Go right after collecting the first flower and jump onto the platform. When the platform goes to the top, jump off at the right side and run along to the paddles. After dropping down through the paddles, quickly run left to avoid a falling wall and jump up to the ledge to collect the second flower. - Flower 3 - Run right to avoid the falling wall again, and use the small spring ball to bounce to the ledge high up on the right. Run right and drop off the edge, and then shoot the two Burts on the left after landing to collect some more stars. Hit the egg block for eggs, and run over to the lava on the right. There are two slow horizontally moving platforms over this first section of lava. Jump on the first one, hover jump over to the second one, and collect the three red coins at the far right side of the lava before landing on the platform with the falling wall. Quickly run right and jump the gap between platforms, collecting the three red coins along the way. Hover jump over the next gap on the right and collect the coin on the right for the final red coin in the area. On the other side of the gap, pass through the middle ring to receive 10 stars, and then go down the pipe. After landing, run right and shoot the winged cloud after the rotating spikes to receive five stars. Continue right to find an egg block near a lava pit, with another winged cloud on the right. Get some eggs by hitting the egg block, and then shoot an egg at the nearby winged cloud to reveal a bridge across the lava. Jump on the bridge and run along it to collect three red coins. At the end of the bridge, jump up to the wall on the right, and then jump onto the see-saw platform. Go to the far right side of the platform to collect the third flower, and then jump quickly back to the middle of the platform. - Flower 4 - After collecting the third flower, the platform should be tilting up to the left. Run up it and hover jump up at the far left side to collect two red coins and land on a small platform with the fourth flower. - Flower 5 - From the small platform where the fourth flower was found, hover jump over to the right and land on the next platform. Jump onto the rotating platform and follow it around to collect two red coins, and then jump off at the right side to land near a Shy Guy pipe. You can go down this pipe to collect many coins, but there are no important items down there. Jump over the pipe and continue right past the locked door to arrive at a lava pit. There are four platforms going over the lava. Jump onto the first platform, and then jump quickly back to the left. Shoot the Gargantua Blargg that emerges, and then jump across the platforms over the lava, collecting all six of the red coins along the way. On the other side of the lava, run right and shoot eggs at the flowerpot until it falls off the ledge and smashes on the floor. When it does, collect the key that's revealed, and run back to the left. Shoot an egg at the eagerly awaiting Gargantua Blargg, and then jump back across the platforms above the lava to arrive at the locked door. Press up to go through the door. On the other side of the door, hit the egg block on the left until Yoshi has six eggs. Run right under the Burt, and then go through the first door in the area to arrive in a room with four Pirahna Plants. Shoot all four Pirahna Plants to make a flower appear. Jump up or shoot an egg to collect the fifth flower, and then exit the room. Go right and jump through the middle ring to collect 10 stars. Shoot an egg at the nearby winged cloud near the red doors for five more stars. Walk right to the red doors, and go through them to enter the first boss fight of the game. - Boss Fight 1: Burt the Bashful - An easy first boss. Burt the Bashful is a larger version of the Burts seen earlier in the level. His only weapon are his large bounces which he uses in an attempt to land on you, but these are simple to avoid. There are two gaps at either side of the area which can be used for when he gets too close. If you press down in either gap, then he can't even reach you. Shoot six eggs at Burt the Bashful to defeat him. --------- - Items - --------- Flower 1 - In the first area, just left of the first two Burts in the level. Flower 2 - In the first area, above the ledge on the left after dropping through the paddles. Flower 3 - In the second area, at the right side of the see-saw platform. Flower 4 - In the second area, on a small platform above the left side of the see-saw platform. Flower 5 - In the third area, go through the first door after the Burt and shoot all four Pirahna Plants to make the fifth flower appear. 3 Red Coins - In the first area, at the far right side of the first lava pit. 3 Red Coins - In the first area, at the far left side of the second lava pit. 1 Red Coin - In the first area, the coin nearest the middle ring. 3 Red Coins - In the second area, fire an egg at the second winged cloud, and a bridge will form over the lava. Jump off to the blue rock at the top-left corner and walk left to come to a manual rotating platform on a wire. To operate this platform, jump onto the left platform to start it rotating. When it starts to slow down, jump onto the next platform on the left. Repeat this process to keep the platform moving. Near the end of the wire, collect the two red coins under the platform, and then go all the way to the end of the wire to collect the second flower. - Flower 3 - At the end of the wire, jump up to the platform above and eat the Fly Guy carrying the red coin. Collect the coin, and continue left over the hill to the blue rock. Jump onto the donut lifts and cross quickly to the other side, eating the Crazee Dayzee along the way. On the blue rock at the other side, face right and shoot an egg at the winged cloud to receive five stars. Run quickly back onto the donut lifts to collect the stars, and then jump up to the next blue rock on the left. Hit the expansion block, and use it to jump up to the donut lifts above. Jump from the donut lifts to collect the third flower. - Flower 4 - Jump to the horizontally moving platform on the left, and then jump to the vertically moving platform above. Jump to the platform at the side of the blue rock on the left, jump again to land on a higher platform near an expansion block, and then jump up to the two donut lifts on the left to land near the middle ring on the blue rock. Go through the middle ring, and then jump up to the platform above to find yourself near a manual rotating platform with five red coins avove it. Jump on the platform and move it right to collect the five red coins and the fourth flower at the end of the wire. - Flower 5 - Jump up after collecting the fourth flower to land on a platform, and then jump across to the blue rock on the right. Five coins in a '+' formation are above. Collect the middle red coin, and then jump up to the highest of the two platforms on the left. Quickly shoot the Fly Guy that appears holding the cloud, and collect the five stars that fall. Jump to the blue rock on the right, and eat the nearby Mufti Guy before jumping up to the vertically moving platform above. Follow the platform up to the top, and collect the middle red coin of the five coins on the left. Jump to the blue rock on the right and shoot the winged cloud above for five stars. Continue right over the grassy hill, and eat the Fly Guy carrying the red coin. Collect the red coin and then jump over to the donut lifts. From the first set of three donut lifts, shoot an egg up to collect the fifth flower in the fluff up on the right. Jump onto the set of five donut lifts and wait for each one to drop so that you can collect the red coins below. After collecting all five coins, jump over to the striped path on the right and run along to the goal ring. Don't jump through it yet. Wait until the level finishes scrolling, and then jump up at the right side of the goal ring to reveal a hidden winged cloud. Shoot the winged cloud for five stars, and then jump through the goal ring to complete the level. --------- - Items - --------- Flower 1 - On the first vertically moving platform, just left of the first rotating platform. Flower 2 - Ride the first manually rotating platform over to the far left side of the wire. Flower 3 - Hit the first expansion block in the level, and use it to jump up to the donut lifts above. Flower 5 - In a block of fluff above the set of four donut lifts near the end of the level. 2 Red Coins - On the first rotating platform. 2 Red Coins - On the second rotating platform, just left of the first vertically moving platform. 2 Red Coins - Ride the first manual rotating platform over to the left side of the wire. 1 Red Coin - A Fly Guy is holding this, on the platform above the second flower. 5 Red Coins - When the level starts scrolling right, use the second manually rotating platform to collect the five red coins above. 1 Red Coin - Shortly after the fourth flower, there are five coins in a '+' formation. Collect the middle coin. 1 Red Coin - Above and slightly to the left of the first Mufti Guy in the level, there are five coins in a '+' formation. Collect the middle coin. 1 Red Coin - Shortly before the fifth flower, a Fly Guy is holding this red coin. 5 Red Coins - Below the final set of five donut lifts in the level, near the fifth flower. 5 Stars - Hit the first winged cloud in the level to receive these stars. 10 Stars - Go through the middle ring. 5 Stars - A Fly Guy holding a cloud appears just left of the first Mufti Guy in the level. Eat him, and then repeat the process on the other two Shy Guys on Stilts further on the right. Jump up to the platform with the spring ball, and use the spring ball to bounce all the way up to the top of the high blue rock on the right. Walk right to activate a winged cloud which contains a 1UP. Shoot the winged cloud, then drop down to the platform below and go through the doors. On the other side of the doors, collect all three eggs. Shoot the yellow egg at a Shy Guy for a normal coin, the red egg for a two stars, and the flashing egg for a red coin. Go through the doors. After arriving back in the main area, drop off the right side of the platform and go down the pipe. In the cave, jump on the two Shy Guys on Stilts and use the small spring ball over on the right to bounce up to the ledge on the left. Go left and eat Lantern Ghosts until Yoshi has six eggs, and then look up at the Baron Von Zeppelin holding the large spring ball. Wait until the Baron Von Zeppelin starts floating back to the left after hitting the platform with the small spring ball on it, and then shoot an egg so that it drops the large spring ball. Using the large spring ball, do a small jump up to the platform on the right, and then use the small spring ball to bounce up to the next ledge on the right. Drop off the right side of the ledge to collect the first flower. - Flower 2 - Run back to the left and use the large spring ball to bounce up to the high path on the right, collecting the three red coins along the way. After landing on the path, run down the slope on the right and jump over the two Shy Guys on Stilts along the way. At the right side of the path, eat both Lantern Ghosts and jump onto the yellow platform to exit the first cave section. After exiting the cave, follow the platform up to the top of the track and collect the three red coins. Drop down to the path and run along to find three Shy Guys on Stilts. Eat them all, and then shoot an egg at the winged cloud to receive five stars. Continue right and jump through the middle ring at the top of the slope, and then run down the slope at the other side. Jump over the gap at the end of the slope and jump/stomp on both Shy Guys on Stilts. Go back to the left and stomp the post under the tulip three times, then run right to collect a red coin and the second flower. - Flower 3 - Jump up to the yellow ledge above and run back to the left until you get under the tulip. Hold A to bring up the egg target, and then press either L or R to stop the egg target at the lowest point. When the tulip opens, jump up and shoot an egg down into the tulip to receive eight stars. Run right and go up the hill to come to a message block, which contains some information on switches that open secret entrances. Jump down off the blue rock to land on the platform below, and then turn left to face a Pirahna Plant. Shoot an egg at the Pirahna Plant, and drop down into the gap on the left to collect a red coin. Jump back up the platform and drop down to the gap at the right side to collect another red coin. Jump up to the platform again, and stomp the post twice at either side. Run under the platform to collect the third flower. - Flower 4 - Jump back up to the platform and shoot an egg at the winged cloud to receive a red switch. Jump on the switch, and then run right to the red arrow pointing down. Press down to enter a secret area. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud to reveal a Metamorphosis Bubble. Touch the bubble to transform into the Mole Tank. Go right and dig through the fluff to find the two red coins: one is third coin from the start and the other is at the top-right corner of the fluff. After collecting both coins, dig down and hit the Yoshi Block, which will return Yoshi to normal. Go right and enter the doors to exit the secret area and return to the main level. Jump from the platform up to the blue rock on the right, and jump from the blue rock up to the top of the message block. Do a hover jump off the right side of the message block to collect the fourth flower. - Flower 5 - Run down the slope on the right and jump onto the post near the bottom. Stomp the post three times, and then continue down the slope to enter another cave section. After landing in the cave, walk slightly to the right and eat the Fang that flutters toward you. Stomp the Shy Guy on Stilts, and eat the two Lantern Ghosts shortly after. Run up the slope on the right and jump across to the blue mushroom. Jump over to the next mushroom, and then jump over to the platform on the wire. When the platform goes up high and is about to start falling back down, jump up and land on the platform. Eat the Lantern Ghosts coming out of the pipe on the left if you need to refill the egg supply, and then go to the edge of the platform on the right. Shoot an egg that follows the line of coins to collect six red coins and the fifth flower. Drop down off the right side of the platform, and then fall through the paddles on the right to land on the blue mushroom below. Fall down to the mushroom on the right, and jump over the Shy Guy on Stilts to land on the next red mushroom. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud up to reveal a beanstalk. Climb up to the highest leaf on the left side of the beanstalk, and eat the Fang that flies down. There are four coins above, and the two middle ones are red. Shoot an egg at the two red coins, and then jump over to the ledge on the right. Bounce on the large spring ball to exit the second cave section. After exiting the cave section, shoot an egg up at the winged cloud to receive five stars. Quickly run right under the goal ring and eat the 1UP balloon before it gets carried away by a hidden Fly Guy, and then jump through the goal ring to complete the level. --------- - Items - --------- 1UP - In the first area, use the large spring ball to bounce up to the top of the high blue rock. There is a hidden winged cloud here, which contains the 1UP. 1UP - After exiting the second cave section, quickly run under the goal ring and eat the 1UP balloon for this 1UP. Flower 1 - In the first cave section, shoot an egg at the Baron Von Zeppelin, and use the large spring ball that is dropped to bounce up to the second platform on the right. Drop through the paddles to collect the flower. Flower 2 - After passing the middle ring, there is a tulip. Stomp the post below the tulip three times, and then run right along the platform to find the flower. Flower 3 - In the area after the first cave section, pass under the first message block and drop down to the platform below. Stomp the post at either side of the platform, and run under the platform for the flower. Flower 4 - In the area after the first cave section, jump on the second message block and shoot an egg up and right to hit the flower. Flower 5 - In the second cave section, jump on the first platform on the wire and jump straight up at the highest point. Shoot an egg in the direction of the coin line to collect the flower. 1 Red Coin - In the first area, use the large spring ball to bounce up to the platform with the door on it. Enter the door, and shoot the flashing egg at one of the Shy Guys for this red coin. 3 Red Coins - In the first cave section, shoot an egg at the Baron Von Zeppelin. Bounce on the large spring and follow the line of coins. 3 Red Coins - After exiting the first cave section, continue to ride the yellow platform up to the top of the wire to find these red coins. 1 Red Coin - After passing the middle ring, there is a tulip. Stomp the post below the tulip three times, and then run right along the platform to find the red coin, which is the final coin in the line. 2 Red Coins - In the area after the first cave section, pass under the first message block and drop down to the platform below. There is a red coin at either side of the platform. 2 Red Coins - In the area after the first cave section, hit the red switch and press down on the red arrow to enter a cave. Using the the mole tank, dig through the fluff on the right to find two coins. 6 Red Coins - In the second cave section, jump on the first platform on the wire and jump straight up at the highest point. Shoot an egg in the direction of the coin line to collect six red coins. 2 Red Coins - These coins can be found above the beanstalk in the second cave section. 5 Stars - In the area after the first cave section, there is a winged cloud above three Shy Guys on stilts. Shoot an egg at the cloud for these stars. 10 Stars - Pass through the middle ring before the tulip. 8 Stars - After passing the middle ring, there is a tulip. Shoot an egg into the tulip for these stars. 5 Stars - After exiting the second cave section, shoot the winged cloud for these stars. Mole Tank - In the area after the first cave section, hit the red switch and press down on the red arrow to enter a cave. Hit the winged cloud for the mole tank. Red Switch - In the area after the first cave section, pass under the first message block and drop down to the platform below. Jump over the gap to land on the grassy platform, and then drop down the other side to land at the base of another slope. Push the nearby Melon Bug up the slope and over the gap at the top. Jump over the gap to land near another Melon Bug on the other side. Push this Melon Bug up the slope on the left, and he'll fall down the gap to collect the first flower. - Flower 2 - Continue right to come the bottom of a large step. Shoot an egg at the Pirahna Plant if it hasn't already been hit by a Melon Bug, and keep moving right to reveal a hidden winged cloud. Shoot an egg at this winged cloud to receive five stars, and then jump both steps on the right. At the top, push one of the two Melon Bugs down the grassy slope on the right to defeat five Tap-Taps. Run down the slope and jump up the small step at the bottom to land near a locked hut. Jump up to the wooden platform with the hut on it, and walk right until you see three Tap-Taps on a platform over on the right. Wait until the two red Tap-Taps have walked off the edge of the platform, and then jump over the small gap to the platform on the right. When the remaining Tap-Tap has walked right, jump up to the platform above and go over to the left side. Jump left and hover jump up to the platform at the bottom-right corner of the fluff. Go to the left side of this small platform, and shoot an egg up and left to collect the second flower. - Flower 3 - Collect both flashing eggs, and then jump up to the middle of the platform on the left after collecting the second flower. Shoot an egg straight up to hit a winged cloud. A key will drop. Collect the key, and then jump up and over the fluff on the left to drop back down to the grassy floor. Jump up the small step on the right again, and jump back up to the platform with the hut. Press up to enter it. In the bonus area, gather more coins than the Bandit before the 30 seconds are up and you will win a bonus item. After exiting the bonus level, go right to the end of the platform, and wait again for the two Tap-Taps to to walk off to the left. This time, shoot the Tap-Taps with both flashing eggs, and two red coins will appear. Collect the red coins, and then look up to find a watermelon. Shoot an egg to make it drop, and then eat it. You will now have 30 watermelon seed bullets to shoot. Jump over the small gap to the platform on the right, and when the remaining Tap-Tap on the platform above walks left, jump up on the right side of the platform. Quickly turn left and fire a seed to shoot the Tap-Tap off the platform. Go right and jump on top of the block of fluff. Stomp it to collect the red coin, and then jump out of the fluff to land on the platform down on the right. Shoot an egg/seed up to the block of fluff above to collect another red coin. Jump from the platform over to the grass slope on the right, and run down it to find the middle ring. Pass through the middle ring, and then jump over the high ledge on the right to collect the third flower. - Flower 4 - After landing on the grass floor on the other side of the high ledge, the Fuzzy section will begin. If you still have the watermelon seeds left over from earlier in the level, this would be the best place to use them. Go right and jump up the first big step. Collect the three red coins above, and then continue right along the path. Shoot eggs/seeds at the Fuzzys that hover around this section, and then jump over the gap to land on a higher section of path. Shoot an egg/seed at the Pirahna Plant that emerges soon after you land, and collect the two red coins above. Continue right quickly and drop down the two steps before the Fuzzys get too close. Hit the egg block at the bottom if you need to refill the egg supply. Go right and jump over the ledge to land in a gap where the fourth flower is found. - Flower 5 - Jump up the two steps on the right, and shoot eggs/seeds at the numerous Fuzzys at the top. Jump over the small gap to land on a small section of floor, and shoot an egg up at the winged cloud to receive five stars. Go right and drop down the two steps to land on a section of floor with lots of coins above. Run right until you see the flower above, and shoot an egg/seed up to collect the fifth flower. Run right and jump up the two steps. At the top of the steps, quickly shoot an egg/seed at the Fly Guy that appears holding a 1UP. Jump over the big gap on the right, and jump on one of the two Mildes to fire the other one off the platform. Collect the two red coins above, and jump over the next gap to land on the path up on the right. Shoot the winged cloud near the start of the path to receive five stars, and then run right to enter the final area of the level. Go right and jump over the two blocks to land on a bendy platform. You can break these platforms by stomping on them, but there's no need to stomp this one. Just walk on it to collect the red coin below, and continue right to find another bendy platform. Stomp this platform to break it, and then jump through the shallow water to collect three red coins. Jump up through the third bendy bridge at the right side of the water, and go left to come to a slope. Go to the top of the slope, and jump straight up to reveal a small spring ball. Jump on the spring ball to enter a secret area. After arriving in the secret area, jump up to the ledge on the left and continue to find a Chomp Rock. Jump on top of the Chomp Rock and walk slowly to the right to roll Chomp Rock away from the wall. When there's quite a big gap, jump over to the left side of Chomp Rock and push it right to reveal a winged cloud. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud and a beanstalk will grow. Jump up the beanstalk to the top and then jump off at the right side to land on a long cloud. Run along the cloud to the right, jumping up to collect all four red coins along the way, and shoot an egg at the winged cloud at the end of the cloud to receive five stars. Run back to the left and drop down the gap in the clouds. Go right after landing, and eat the two Mufti Guys on the way to the pipe. Go down the pipe to return to the main part of the level. Go right after landing to come to the fourth bendy bridge in the area. Walk on the bridge to collect the final red coin in the level. Continue right and jump through the goal ring to complete the level. --------- - Items - --------- 1UP - After passing the Fuzzy section, a Fly Guy appears holding this 1UP just before the two Mildes. You will get one red coin for each flashing egg that you hit an enemy with. 1 Red Coin - In the lower fluff block shortly after the hut. 1 Red Coin - In the higher fluff block shortly after the hut. 3 Red Coins - At the start of the Fuzzy section, these coins are found at the top of the first step. 2 Red Coins - In the Fuzzy section, these two coins are above the Pirahna Plant. 2 Red Coins - Above the two Mildes after the Fuzzy section. 1 Red Coin - Below the first bendy bridge in the second area. 3 Red Coins - Break the second bridge in the second area, and run through the shallow water to collect these coins. 1 Red Coin - Below the fourth and final bendy bridge in the second area. 4 Red Coins - After passing the second bendy bridge in the second area, jump up to the top of the slope and then jump straight up to find a spring ball. Jump on this to enter a secret area. Roll Chomp Rock right to reveal a winged cloud. Shoot the winged cloud and climb the beanstalk. There are four red coins above the long cloud on the right. 5 Stars - Shortly after the first flower there is a Pirahna Plant. Roll a Melon Bug into the Pirahna Plant and continue right to reveal a winged cloud, which contains these stars. 10 Stars - Pass through the middle ring, which is just before the third flower. 5 Stars - In the Fuzzy section, shoot the first winged cloud for these stars. 5 Stars - Shoot the final winged cloud in the first area to receive these stars. 5 Stars - After passing the second bendy bridge in the second area, jump up to the top of the slope and then jump straight up to find a spring ball. Jump on this to enter a secret area. Roll Chomp Rock right to reveal a winged cloud. Shoot the winged cloud and climb the beanstalk. Run right along the long cloud and shoot the winged cloud at the right side for these stars. Key - This key is found in the fluff above the second flower. Shoot the winged cloud to receive it. Watermelon - At the right side of the fluff there is a platform. Walk over to the right side of the ledge and jump onto the green rotating platform. Wait on the platform until it stops rotating, and then jump back over to a green platform on the left. Collect both red coins, and then jump back over to a green platform on the right. When the platform has moved close enough to the rolling platform, jump up to the top of the rolling platform and quickly hover jump to collect both red coins above it. Continue hovering right, and land on the purple rotating platform. Move the platform right and jump down to the platform on the other side. Continue right to come to another rolling platform. Jump onto the left side of the rolling platform and then quickly hover jump up and left to collect the three red coins. Jump back onto the rolling platform, but this time hover jump up and right to collect three more red coins and land on the small platform above. Go to the right side of this platform, and use the thin platforms to jump up through the gap. At the top of the gap, run left to collect a red coin, and then drop down the wide gap to collect the first flower. - Flower 2 - After collecting the first flower, you will land on the rolling platform, so quickly run right to avoid falling into the lava. After passing the rolling platform, enter the pipe on the right. After arriving in the second area, you should notice a Spray Fish in the water over on the right. Wait for the Spray Fish to stop shooting water, and then quickly jump onto the green platform that the ghost is holding. The platform will go slowly up and right, and then it will quickly move left and down. When it starts to move left and down, hover jump to land on a small ledge at the entrance to a tunnel. Go left through the tunnel, and then walk left to collect the second flower. - Flower 3 - Go through the pipe on the right to enter the second area again. Run and hover jump twice to land on the platform at the top-right corner of the area, collecting the third flower on the way. - Flower 4 - Go through the tunnel on the right to enter a small secret room. Collect both red coins, pass through the middle ring to receive ten stars, and shoot the winged cloud for a further five stars. Exit the room by going through the pipe on the left. Drop off the platform and hold right to land on a platform below. Go through the tunnel on the right. After arriving in the third area, run under the message block and hit the green block to switch the green platforms over. Continue right and jump onto the log platform near the Bandit to collect the fourth flower. - Flower 5 - Run back to the left and jump onto the green platform. Jump up to the platform up on the left and shoot an egg at the winged cloud to receive five stars. Jump over to the small platform on the right, and then jump to the slope up on the right. Go about half-way up the slope and jump to the green platform on the left. Jump over to the purple rotating platform, and wait for the platform to go around about three-quarters of the way before jumping up to the log platform above. Go right along the platform and shoot an egg at the red block to switch the red platforms over. Go right and drop down onto the first red platform. Continue right and fall down the gap under the second red platform. Run left down the slope and drop onto the small log platform at the bottom. Walk right and drop onto the green platform below, and then jump over to the log platform on the right. Jump over to the red platform on the right and walk right to collect three red coins. Go to the right side of the red platform and jump up to the purple rotating platform above. Wait for the platform to go three-quarters of the way around, and then jump up to either the right or left log platform above. Jump up to the higher log platform, and push the flowerpot right or left so that it crashes down to the platform below. Collect the key that is revealed, and jump back up to the log platform where the flowerpot used to be. Run left and jump onto the tiny log platform next to the wall, and then jump up through the log platform. Run right and hover jump over the big gap to land on a path. Run right along the path to collect the fifth flower. Go left along the path and drop down the small step near the end. Drop off the edge of the path to land on a sloped log platform below, and then jump to the red platform up on the right. Jump over the small gap to the second red platform and run right to collect two red coins and arrive near the locked door. Press up to enter the door. After arriving in the fourth area, walk right and stop under the spinning arrow platform. Jump onto the platform when the arrow is pointing up and ride the platform up until you see the ledge over on the right. Jump over to the ledge, and run right to find the middle ring. Jump through the middle ring, and then jump onto the arrow platform on the left when the arrow is pointing straight up. Jump to the log platform when the arrow platform gets high enough, and press up to enter the red doors. - Boss Fight 2: Salvo the Slime - Run right and jump up the steps to enter the boss arena. Kamek appears and transports a Lemon Drop into a huge monster one named Salvo. A slightly more difficult boss fight than the first, Salvo the Slime will bounce around trying to push you into the lava at the right side of the area. Shoot one egg at Salvo the Slime to make some Lemon Drops appear. Eat the Lemon Drops to refill the egg supply, and shoot eight eggs at Salvo the Slime to defeat him. --------- - Items - --------- Flower 1 - Above the third rolling platform in the first area. Flower 2 - Jump on the Support Ghost's platform in the second area, and jump off to the platform at the top-left corner of the room when the platform quickly moves left. Jump up the small step to land on top of a ledge near some lava. At this point, Poochy will make his appearance. Quickly jump on Poochy and face right to make him run in that direction. Tap left and right to control Poochy as he runs through the lava, and continue right to jump up the big step on the other side. After landing on the slope, jump off Poochy and shoot the winged cloud for five stars. Jump back on Poochy and run into the lava on the right. When you come to the platform in the lava with the small gap below, jump from Poochy and land on top of the platform. Shoot the winged cloud above the platform for five more stars, and then hover jump down from the platform to collect the first flower and land back on Poochy. - Flower 2 - Continue right through the lava and jump up both steps at the other side. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud at the top of the second step for five stars, and then drop down into the lava on the right. Go through the lava and jump up both steps on the other side. Tap left and right to control Poochy from going too fast at the top of the second step. Walk slowly off the right side of the slope to drop down into a gap with the second flower. - Flower 3 - Wait until the Bullet Bill has passed above, and then quickly jump out the right side of the gap. Hover jump from Poochy and hold up to float to the top of the platform high up on the right, following the trail of coins along the way to collect three red coins. Shoot the winged cloud above the platform to receive five stars, and then hover jump off the right side of the platform to collect three red coins. After collecting the third red coin on the right side of the platform, drop down to collect the third flower and land on Poochy. - Flower 4 - After landing back on Poochy, run right through the lava. At the other side of the lava, jump up the small step to land at the bottom of a big slope. Run up the slope, eating Fangs along the way to refill the egg supply. At the top of the slope, shoot an egg at the winged cloud for five stars, and then jump up the large step on the right. Run down the big slope on the right while eating any of the Fangs that get too close. There are four Tap-Taps on the way down the slope, which cause no problem as long as you have Poochy. At the bottom of the slope, drop into the small gap to collect two red coins, and jump out on the other side. Run up the small slope, and Poochy will automatically jump to collect the fourth flower at the top. - Flower 5 - Drop down into the lava section on the right. Run quickly to the right and jump from Poochy to collect the three red coins. Quickly land back on Poochy and run back to the left before the Ball and Chain gets too close. When the Ball and Chain is horizontal, quickly run right to pass under the Ball and Chain. Shoot the first winged cloud on the other side of the Ball and Chain to receive five stars and then continue right to collect two red coins. Shoot the second winged cloud for a further five stars, and go right for two more red coins. After collecting the second set of two red coins, jump up to collect the fifth flower and hover jump over to the platform on the right. Drop off the right side of the platform and hover near the lava to collect five red coins and land near the goal ring. Drop down off the right side of the platform to collect the flower. Flower 4 - At the top of the long slope shortly after the third flower, jump up the big step and go down the slope on the other side to arrive at a lava pit. Jump over the lava pit and continue up the small slope on the other side to find the flower at the top. Flower 5 - After passing the second winged cloud after the Ball and Chain, jump up to collect this flower 6 Red Coins - After passing the second flower, there will be a cannon which shoots Bullet Bills. Jump on the Bullet Bill and hover up and over the platform, collecting the red coins along the way. 2 Red Coins - At the top of the long slope shortly after the third flower, jump up the big step and go down the slope on the other side to arrive at a lava pit with two red coins in it. Jump on Poochy and ride through the lava to collect the coins. 3 Red Coins - Near the Ball and Chain shortly after the fourth flower. 2 Red Coins - Under the first winged cloud after the Ball and Chain. 2 Red Coins - Under the second winged cloud after the Ball and Chain. 5 Red Coins - Above the final lava pit in the level. 7 Stars - Shoot an egg at the winged cloud just left of the starting point. 5 Stars - After crossing the first lava section with Poochy, shoot an egg at the winged cloud on the other side. 5 Stars - After passing the first winged cloud, ride Poochy through the second lava section and jump up to the platform about half-way. Wait until the Paratroopa has floated low, and then jump over the gap to land on the big rock on the other side. Run right to the edge of the path and drop down to the pipe. Go down the pipe. After arriving in the secret area, jump up to the platform on the right and continue right under the message block to encounter a Super Star. Collect the first Star to transform into Mario. Run up the curved wall on the right and continue over the red blocks to arrive in another area with a Super Star. Collect the second Star and run up the next curved wall on the right to come to another Super Star. Collect the third Star and run along the ceiling until you hit the wall and land on the floor. After landing, quickly run left along the red blocks and down the sloped wall on the other side to collect the first flower. - Flower 2 - After landing back on the platform, go up the pipe to return to the main section of the level. Jump up to the grass slope up on the left and then hover jump over to the block on the right. Jump up the step to the thin block on the right and quickly jump up to collect the second flower before the block drops. - Flower 3 - After collecting the second flower, hover over to the block on the right. Face left and stomp the Koopa on the block below. Walk to the middle of the block and face right. Shoot an egg down and right at the winged cloud to receive a 1UP, and then jump up to the block on the right. Jump over the gap to the next block and quickly collect the two red coins above before the block falls. Jump over to the thin block on the right, and then jump up to the big block on the right. Collect the two red coins above the block, and then quickly run to the left side of the block as it starts to fall. Run right to collect the two red coins when the block gets low enough, and then hover jump over the Paratroopa to land on the final block in the area. Jump off the right side of the block and go down the pipe. After arriving in the second area, drop off the platform and run right to find Poochy. Hit the egg block to refill the egg supply, and then jump on Poochy. Face right to make Poochy run in that direction. After Poochy defeats the seven Tap-Taps and passes the third spike gap, he'll jump up and enter a tunnel. When Poochy jumps, jump up and right to land on a ledge. Run right and drop down off the other side of the ledge to land near a crate. Collect the four red coins around the crate and then stomp the crate to receive a key. Collect the key, then jump back on Poochy and face left. Jump up and left when Poochy jumps to land on top of the ledge. Hover jump from the left side of the ledge to float over all three pits, and then run all the way back to the pipe at the start of the area. Go up the pipe. After emerging from the pipe, run right and pass through the middle ring. Go over to the large spring ball and use it to bounce up to the third area. After arriving in the third area, the screen will start to slowly scroll up, and blocks will fall from above. Wait for the first block to drop down on the right side and jump onto it. Two more blocks will drop. Run left and jump up to the far left block. Two more blocks will drop. As soon as the second block lands, quickly jump up to the top of it. When the next two blocks have dropped, run right and jump to the top of the far right block. Three blocks will drop. Run left and jump up to the far left block. Three more blocks will drop. Jump up to the closest block on the right, and then quickly jump onto the far right block to avoid the block above. Don't collect the flower just yet. Instead, jump to the grass path on the right and wait for the final two blocks to fall. Jump onto the blocks and run left to collect the third flower. - Flower 4 - Continue left after collecting the fourth flower and jump near the wall to reveal a winged cloud. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud to receive five stars. Go right to the grass path and jump up the three platforms to the small ledge at the top. Drop down off the right side of the ledge and go left onto the thin platform, which will start to drop. Face right as the platform drops, and eat the four Shy Guys on the way to collect the red coins that they hold. Go right and use the small spring ball to bounce up to the platform above. Jump up to the grass path on the right and run off the right edge of the path to land near a pipe. Run right to the post, and then quickly stomp to make the Eggo-Dil hide. Jump over the tall post and the short post, and then run to the edge of the path and jump over the gap. On the other side of the gap, quickly run right under the three Baron Von Zeppelins and jump the next gap. Jump back to the left side of the gap, and then shoot the three Barron Von Zeppelins holding the crate. Stomp the crate to receive six stars. Jump over the gap on the right and shoot the Baron Von Zeppelins holding the second crate. Stomp this crate for six more stars, and then jump over the gap on the right. After landing on the other side of the gap, go up to the left side of the small slope and face right. Shoot the Fly Guy that appears holding the 1UP, and then quickly run under the Baron Von Zeppelin and jump the gap at the right side of the path. Stomp when you land on the other side of the gap to make the Eggo-Dil hide, and then continue right to find some more falling blocks. Quickly run right into the gap and jump out the other side to collect the fourth flower. - Flower 5 - As soon as you collect the fourth flower, run back to the left through the gap to avoid the blocks dropping above. Back on the left side of the gap, face right and jump up the blocks to the small ledge at the top. Drop down off the right side of the ledge and continue right. Jump over the gap to land on the other side, where two blocks will be falling. Quickly jump onto the first block, then the second block, then jump up to the ledge on the right. Run right to reveal a winged cloud and collect the fifth flower. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud to receive five stars, and then drop down through the paddles on the right. Run up the slope on the right and drop down to the blocks on the other side. Run along the first block and hover jump over to the second block, collect the two red coins as you hover. Hover from the second block and land on the third block, collecting two more red coins. The third block will start to drop, but stay on it and wait for the fourth block to get lower. When the third block starts to drop quickly, jump up to the fourth block and then jump to the fifth block. Hover jump from the fifth to collect the two red coins and land on the striped platform. Press up next to the hut to enter it and play a bonus game. After exiting the hut, run right and jump through the goal ring to complete the level. --------- - Items - --------- 1UP - After the pipe in the first area, jump over to the third block on the right and shoot the Koopa shell right so that it hits the winged cloud. 1UP - Shoot the Fly Guy holding the 1UP that appears shortly after the second crate in the third area. Flower 4 - After passing the first Eggo-Dil in the third area, quickly run right to collect the fourth flower, and then run back to the left before the blocks drop. Stomp on the two Green Gloves and the Slugger, and shoot an egg at the winged cloud to lower the platform on the right. Jump over the platform and land on the other side to collect the first flower. - Flower 2 - Continue right and jump over the two Shy Guys on the way up the slope. At the top of the slope, hover jump over the Blow Hard to land at the top of another slope. Hover jump from the top of the second slope to jump over another Blow Hard, and land on the first Milde on the other side. Jump over the other two Mildes and go right to come to three platforms. Jump to the top platform and eat the Shy Guy, and then jump straight up over the Needlenose that the Blow Hard shoots. After landing back on the platform, shoot an egg at the winged cloud above the Blow Hard for a 1UP, and then quickly jump over the Blow Hard and land on the platform on the other side. Drop down off the right side of the platform and continue right to come to a pipe. Eat the Shy Guys coming out of the pipe until Yoshi has six eggs, and then jump on top of the pipe and face left. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud to create a beanstalk. Climb the beanstalk to the top and jump into the tunnel at the left side. Run left along the tunnel and jump onto the platform when the tunnel curves up. Jump over to the path on the right and jump up the four platforms at the right side of the Blow Hard. From the fourth platform, jump up to the path on the right. Jump up the next four platforms, and then jump to the left path from the fourth platform. Run left up the small curved path, and look up to see two Fly Guys holding red coins. Shoot both Fly Guys to collect the red coins and then run right along the platform and jump up to the grass path. Go right and drop down the gap with the red arrow pointing down to land on a platform near a message block. Go right along the platform and drop down through the outline blocks to land on some steps. Run down the long steps all the way to the bottom, and continue right after landing to drop down another gap. After dropping down the second gap, shoot an egg up at the arrow cloud to make the Super Star fall down from the gap up on the left. Collect the Super Star to transform into Mario, and then quickly run through the paddles on the left to find the second Star. Continue left up the steep slope and along the red blocks to find the third Star. Keep going left to find the fourth Star just after the red blocks. Run up the steep slope to find the fifth Star, and run up the wall to collect the sixth Star. Shortly after collecting the sixth Star, Mario will be outside. Quickly jump up to the platform and run right, jumping up about half-way along the platform to collect the seventh star. Jump onto the grass path at the right side of the platform and jump into the gap at the right side of the path to collect the eighth and final star. After landing, quickly run right and jump over the blocks to land on some spikes. Run along the spikes and jump through the middle ring on the other side. Shortly after this, Mario will return to normal and you will be able to continue playing as Yoshi. Jump over the small gap on the right and hit the egg block to refill the egg supply. Continue right down the tiny slope and walk near the right edge. A Slugger will be walking about on a small platform down on the right. Wait until the Slugger is facing right and then shoot an egg at the winged cloud to reveal the second flower. Wait for the Slugger to face right again, and shoot an egg at the second flower to collect it. - Flower 3 - After collecting the second flower, jump up to the platform on the right and run along to the gap. Jump over the first gap and hover jump over the second gap. Hover over to the horizontally moving red and yellow platform, and then stomp the Green Glove on the platform down on the right. Jump up to the red and yellow platform on the right, and shoot an egg down and right along the spikes to collect the three red coins and a 1UP for hitting the winged cloud. Jump up to the ledge on the right, and then jump up to the grass path. Drop down both big steps on the right and continue right to enter the second area. After arriving in the second area, run right and eat the blue watermelon on the second tree. Continue right up the steps and shoot ice at the Pirahna Plant and the four Shy Guys. Run right and use the large spring ball to bounce up to the platform above. Run left along the platform and jump up the big step to land on the grass path. Go left along the grass path and enter the hidden tunnel at the end to find a middle ring. Pass through the middle ring, and then run back to the far right side of the grass path. Jump into the first small hidden tunnel up on the right. Jump from the hidden tunnel to the platform on the right, and walk to the far left side of the platform. Jump up and tap right to land in a hidden tunnel above. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud to receive five stars, and then jump over to the platform on the left. Jump over to the next platform on the left. From this platform, jump up and right to land in a hidden tunnel which contains a red coin. Collect the red coin, and then drop back down to the platform on the left. Jump over to the grass path and hit the egg block at the left side of the path to refill the egg supply. Use the large spring ball to bounce up to the top of the high platform on the right. Jump down to the platform on the right, and then jump into the hidden tunnel of the next platform on the right to find a winged cloud. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud to reveal the third flower. - Flower 4 - After collecting the third flower, jump back to the platform on the left and then jump up to the platform on the right. From this platform, jump over the gap and enter the long hidden tunnel on the right. After entering the hidden tunnel, run down the slope on the right. Stop near the bottom of the slope and quickly fire an egg at the Blow Hard on the ceiling. Continue right to come to the first junction in the path. Take the high path and eat the Little Mouser on the way up the slope to come to a small area with three coins. Shoot an egg at the Pirahna Plant, then jump over the small gap on the right and collect the middle red coin. Run back to the left, jump over the gap and go down the slope to come to the junction again. The Blow Hard have reappeared, so quickly drop off the platform, turn right and take the low path. Walk down the path until you get near the edge. Slowly walk off the edge of the path and hold left to avoid the Pirahna Plant. After landing, eat the Little Mouser that runs up the slope and then go down the slope to come to another junction. Go left at the junction and eat the Little Mouser that rushes toward you. Fire an egg at the Pirahna Plant, jump up to eat the blue watermelon near the ceiling, and go left to collect the fourth flower. - Flower 5 - Go right to the junction and continue right. Shoot ice at the Little Mouser that runs toward you, and run under the Pirahna Plant that appears on the ceiling. Jump over the small gap and continue right to enter the third area. After arriving in the third area, run right and enter the hidden tunnel. Shoot an egg at the winged cloud to reveal a Metamorphosis Bubble. Touch the bubble to transform into a Mole Tank, and then start digging through the fluff on the right. Collect the second coin, the fourteenth coin and the eighteenth coin for all three red coins, and then dig out of the fluff on the right side to hit the Yoshi Block, which will return Yoshi to normal. Run down the small slope on the right and drop down onto the first of many junctions in this area. Go right at the junction and jump the gap further on the right. On the other side of the gap, walk close to the Slugger on the platform. Wait until the Slugger walks to the right side of the platform, and then shoot an egg up and right over the top of him so that it collects the two red coins in the room. With both red coins collected, run back to the left and jump over the gap to arrive back at the first junction. Go left at the first junction and jump the gap. Eat the Little Skull Mouser on the other side of the gap and continue left to come to a crate. Stomp the crate for six stars, and then run right and drop down the gap. After landing on the path, face right and eat the Little Mouser that rushes toward you. Go right and jump over the gap. Continue right after landing on the other side of the gap to come to a small room with three coins. Eat the Little Skull Mouser and then collect the middle red coin. Run back to the left and drop down the gap. After landing on the path at the bottom of the gap, run right and eat the Little Skull Mouser. Continue right and hover jump over the Tap-Tap to arrive near a winged cloud. Shoot the winged cloud for a 1UP and then run back to the left. Jump over the small gap with a Tap-Tap in it and collect the middle red coin on the other side. Jump over the second gap with a Tap-Tap in it and continue left. When you come to the slope that goes down, jump over to the other side of the gap and fire an egg at the Tap-Tap to move him out of the way. Collect the middle red coin and eat the blue watermelon, and then go right to the gap. Drop into the gap and run down the slope on the left. Wait at the bottom of the slope for the Tap-Tap to appear on the other side of the gap. When he walks back to the left, jump over the gap. Run left on the other side of the gap and shoot the winged cloud for three stars. Run back to the right and drop down the gap. Go down the slope and eat the Little Mouser that emerges from the hole. Continue right down the slope to enter a large circular area. Jump onto the platform in the middle of the long circular area and then jump on top of the message block. When the tulip opens, bounce an egg off of the ceiling so that it lands in the tulip, which will throw out eight stars. After collecting the stars, drop down off the left side of the platform and run right to drop down to a log platform. Drop down off the right side of the log platform to land on a grass path. Run over to the far right side of the grass path, and shoot an egg down and right to collect the only red coin in this room. Run back to the left side of the room and jump up both log platforms. From the top log platform, jump up to the right yellow platform. Jump up the small step and then run along the path on the right. Eat the Little Skull Mouser at the top of the first slope under the Pirahna Plant, and continue down the slope on the other side to come to a small gap. Drop down the small gap to land on a small spring ball. Shoot an egg down and right under the blocks to collect the fifth flower. Bounce on the small spring ball and jump out the right side of the gap. Run up the slope on the right and eat the two Little Mousers that come out of the holes. Go up to the top of the slope and shoot an egg at the Pirahna Plant. Exit the hidden tunnel and continue right to the goal ring. Walk to the bottom of this slope and jump straight up to collect the single red coin above. Continue right to come to a gap with a winged cloud floating above it. Shoot the winged cloud to reveal a flower, and then jump over the gap to collect the first flower. - Flower 2 - On the other side of the gap, run right up the small slope and jump up to the ledge at the top. Quickly jump over the gap to the ledge on the right and shoot an egg at the Fly Guy holding the 1UP. Face left and shoot an egg up at the winged cloud above to receive five stars. Drop off the right side of the ledge and continue right to come to a gap. Jump over the three gaps on the right and run up the big slope after the third gap. Jump over the fourth gap at the top of the slope, and then face left. Walk left to the top of the slope, and shoot an egg at the winged cloud in the gap to reveal the second flower. Shoot another egg into the gap to collect the second flower. - Flower 3 - Run down the slope on the right and duck under the first low-flying Gusty. Continue right to find a Shy Guy. Eat the Shy Guy, and then hold down to duck under the second low-flying Gusty. Run up the big slope on the right and drop down onto the pipe. Go down the pipe. After arriving in the second area, face right and eat the Lantern Ghosts coming out of the pipe until Yoshi has six eggs. Drop down to the pipe and then jump through the middle ring up on the right. Continue right under the message block after landing and jump up to the small ledge on the right. Shoot an egg down and right so that it bounces through both fluff walls and collects the two red coins along the way. Drop down the step on the right and continue right to the next big step. Jump up the step and shoot an egg through the wall on the right. Go right and jump over the gap. On the other side of the gap, run right to come to a series of fluff walls. Shoot an egg right so that it goes through all of the walls and collects the two red coins. Run right through the gaps in the wall, collecting the two eggs along the way, and drop down the small step. Walk right and shoot an egg up near the top-right corner of the fluff ceiling to receive three stars from a hidden winged cloud. Shoot an egg up and right, and then jump up the big step on the right. Go down the small slope on the right, and jump up at the bottom of the slope to collect the top-right red coin. After landing, shoot an egg up at the Fly Guy to make him drop the red coin. Collect the red coin and continue right. Eat the two Mildes on the way along the path and continue right to come to a tunnel with three winged clouds and lots of Fangs. Shoot the first winged cloud for five stars, the second cloud for a single coin and the third cloud for the third flower. Avoiding the Fangs, run right and jump up to the platform to collect the third flower. - Flower 4 - Drop down off either side of the platform and fall through the paddles below to collect a Super Star. As Mario, run left down the slope and defeat the various enemies along the way. When you come to the junction in the path, continue left arrive in a room with a huge fluff ceiling. Stand on top of the pipe and jump over to the platform on the left. Walk over to the left side of the small platform and shoot an egg up and left to create some steps in the fluff. Climb up the fluff steps to the top, and then jump over the block on the right to collect the fourth flower on the other side. - Flower 5 - Jump over the high section of the platform on the right and stomp the fluff on the other side to land back near the pipe.
