Starting on the "GO" space, your token moves around the board according to your dice roll. When you land on a space that is not already owned by someone else, you may buy it form the bank. If you choose not to buy it, the property is auctioned off to the highest bidder. Players who own properties collect rents from opponents landing there. The construction of houses and hotels greatly increases the rent you can collect on properties, so it is wise to build on as many sites as possible. If you need to raise more money, the bank can give mortgages on properties. You must always obey the instructions given on Chance and Community Chest cards. Sometimes you will be sent to jail." *Taken from the MONOPOLY PARTY Instruction Manual Pg. 7 -NOT MY WRITING- Publisher: INFOGAMES Developer: RUNECRAFT Release Date: 11/11/02 Rating: E: No Reason Specified Players: 1-4 (Multi-Tap) Memory Card Blocks: 143 KB Analog Control and Digital Control My Rating: 9/10 (Check the Reviews) As always... Your opponents can either be human or AI(Computer Controlled Artificial Intelligence). Up to four players can play each game type, depending on the number of game controllers you have. Party Mode: This is an all-new MONOPOLY game type where all players "roll the dice" and move simultaneously. While most of the traditional MONOPOLY game rules apply, Party mode results in much fast games. It's easy to learn and really fun to play. Auctions and trades are fast and furious, and the competition is fierce. You can play Party mode against up to three AI players, with up to three friends, or a mixture of human and AI opponents. NOTE: Party mode requires that each human have his or her controller. Classic Mode: Classic mode is based on the traditional MONOPOLY game, where players take turns rolling the dice, moving, buying properties, building, collecting rents and paying fees. You can play a Classic mode game against up to three AI players, with up to three friends, or a mixture of human and AI opponents. NOTE: Players can share a controller in Classic mode, passing it from player to player each turn. Themes: In addition to the time-honored MONOPOLY board (in five languages), you can play MONOPOLY Party using four alternative theme boards. Each board comes with its own special animated tokens and custom house and hotel styles. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ -----------M-O-N-O-P-O-L-Y--P-A-R-T-Y----------- $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$FAQ$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ --Section VII-- FAQ Q: Are there any unlockables? Q: My game isn't loading onto my PS2, why? A: The best answer I can give you is that you PS2 was one of the first shipped, and since this game is a blue disk, it can't be read on the first PS2's. Q: How do you use Immunities (Free Rides) or Futures? A; These rules must be turned on in the custom rule section and are used through the trade window. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ -----------M-O-N-O-P-O-L-Y--P-A-R-T-Y----------- $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$LEGAL$INFO$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Special Thanks: To the INFOGAMES team for publishing this game and the RUNECRAFT developing team for making the best Monopoly game there is.
