GoldenEye 007 Instruction Manual written exclusively for *Cheat Code Central* at http://www.cheatcc.com/ by Brian Kolodne BiterClown@aol.com GoldenEye 007 **Game Files** You can have up to 4 different files in Goldeneye. To delete one hit A on the Delete Icon and select the folder to be deleted. To copy a file to another file do the same thing with a copy folder. Starting a Game: Once you select a folder you can choose from: Select Mission (1 player), Multiplayer, or Cheat Select (If you have any cheats) In single player you have the option of selecting from Agent, Secret Agent, 00 Agent, and if you are really good 007 mode. Agent is the easiest mode. The mode affects how hard the enemies are as well as what missions you must complete. As you complete each mode the new modes become available for that level. As you beat each mode you can also move onto the next level. Once you select a mode you will have all kinds of briefings which you should read if it is your first time playing the level. You can press start to go right to the game. **Controls** These are the default controls, but can be changed at the pause menu (watch screen). D pad - Sidestep, look up/down Control Stick - Move, aim target, move on menu screens. L&R Buttons - Aim (Make a target appear) C up - look up C down - look down C left - Sidestep left (Strafe) C right - Sidestep right (Strafe) A button - Change Weapon/device, hold Z and press A to cycle backwards. B button - Reload, activate, open doors Z button - fire, use weapon R+Z buttons - crouch L or R+C left/C Right - Lean Start Button - Pause game and bring up options screen (watch screen). **Gameplay** During a game you are displayed with the weapon you are holding and how much ammo it has left. If you take a hit you will see two bars appear on screen. The yellow/orange one on the left is the amount of health you have left. The blue bar is how much body armor you have, if any. Pause Menu (watch screen): To quit the mission on the first screen press A and then select confirm. The next screen allows you to change weapons and is the only way to select special objects such as the camera and tracking bugs. You then get screens that allow you to configure the controller and change game options. The final screen allows you to view which missions are incomplete and complete. If you press down on this screen you will get your mission briefing, background info, etc. **Weapons and Gadgets** Throwing Knife - Can be collected after it has been thrown. Hunting Knife - Not thrown, used to slash. You can get this only from the all weapons cheat. PP7 - small pistol that can be silenced. DD44 Dostevei - Soviet pistol. Loud but Powerful. Cougar Magnum - Colt pistol. Very powerful and very slow. Only accesible by cheats. ZMG 9mm - Basically an Uzi. D5K Deustche - More powerful then ZMG, but a little slower, I think. Can silenced. Powerful and can zoom in too! RC P90 - The mother of all sub machine guns. 80 rounds per clip and fires faster than your grandma eatin' beans. Grenade Launcher - grenades explode when they hit someone or the ground. Learn to bounce em off the walls. Rocket Launcer - Everyone's Favorite! Sniper Rifle - Very fun weapon to use. When aiming (R button) press C up/down to zoom in/out. Grenades - Five second fuse. Count to 2 or 3 and throw. Remote Mines - Mines detonated by your watch or press A&B simultaneously. Wait till you clear out the enemies in the bunker before letting her out. Valentin Zukovsky - Fat boy with info for bond. 006, Alec Trevelyan - a comrade eh? Defense Minister Mishkin - Member of the Politburo, don't accidently shoot him in the Archives. Enemies: Janus - Pronounced Yanus. Leader of the Syndicate. Xenia Onatopp - name's right on up there with Pussy Galore and Dr. Goodhead. Pilot and killer for Janus. General Arkady Ourumov - Traitor that hangs out with Janus. Boris Grishenko - That dorky computer programmer. Other Villains: Jaws - One tough mutha'. Takes alot to bring him down. Mayday - origanally supposed to be in the game. Only in Multiplayer. Baron Samedi - My personal favorite! Master of the black arts. Oddjob - also supposed to be in the game but only appears in multiplayer. Only the cheap people use him cause he's short. Funny how alot of people always fight over him in multiplayer mode. **Mulitplayer** There are a few extra levels you can gain for two and three player mode after you get to them. You can also get more characters to select after you beat the game in agent mode, I think. Most of the options are self explanetory but some of them need to be defined. Scenarios: - Living Daylights Try to be the one who holds the flag the longest. - Man with the golden gun There is one golden gun which kills in one shot - Licensed to Kill One hit and your dead To access the cheats you need to beat each level in a certain mode in a certain time. You can get these off of cheatcc.com or you can look on the statistics screen after you beat a level. If the thing says target time that is what you need to beat in order to get the cheat.
