Defeating the final mercenaries
At the end of the last level, use the following method to easily defeat the final group of mercenaries protecting Doyle at the top of the stabilizer. Slowly approach the ramp until you hear the radio chatter confirming they have spawned above you. Then, back up and look towards the large fuel tanks. You cannot see them, but the mercenaries are gathered around and behind these tanks. Throw all of your grenades at the tanks to easily kill or wounded almost all of the mercenaries, leaving just one or two to kill upstairs.
Driving pigs
Park a buggy in an unsafe location (for example, on a flight of stairs in the Fort level). Eventually a pig will get in and drive the buggy and park it back on the road. Note: The pig will run you over if you are in the way.
Trophies
Successfully complete one of the following tasks to get a trophy:
- Paradise Memoirs (Platinum): Unlock all trophies in Far Cry Classic.
- Wildlife Safari (Gold): Complete Dam level without equipping a weapon on person (mounted weapons are allowed).
- SpecOps Training (Gold): Do not die while Doyle hacks the entry gates.
- In the Zoo (Gold): Complete Treehouse without dying.
- Hot Zone Date (Gold): Do not let Valerie die even once in Swamp.
- Carver Style (Gold): Complete the game in Hard or Realistic difficulty.
- Ninja Jack (Gold): Collect the Key card in Research without alerting anybody!
- Contained Evolution (Gold): Defeat Krieger.
- Call Drops (Silver): Kill the Traitor with a melee attack.
- “Hurt? Who me?” (Silver): Complete a level with full health and armor.
- Of Ravens And Crowes (Silver): Kill Crowe with a headshot.
- Reenlisted (Silver): Complete Training mission.
- Offline Interaction (Silver): Complete Pier Mission.
- Mean Steam Machine (Silver): Complete Steam Mission.
- Differing Opinions (Silver): Complete Rebellion Mission.
- Operation We Want Peace (Silver): Complete Swamp Mission.
- Unleashed Fury (Silver): Complete Volcano Mission.
- Uneven Terrain (Bronze): Run over 5 enemies while driving a vehicle.
- Flight Simulation (Bronze): Fall over 150m and survive.
- Long Distance Correspondence (Bronze): Get a headshot kill from 500m.
- Oceanic Vista (Bronze): Score 1 kill each from a land, maritime and aerial vehicle.
- Bonding Experiences (Bronze): In Bunker, make the Mercs and the caged Trigens mingle with each other.
