May 10, 2006 - Have you ever known people who couldn't name their baby until it was born? I'm assuming that's the same sort of trepidation Naughty Dog is having with their first PlayStation 3 title currently in development. From the screens we've seen and the small preview at the Sony press conference, the game seems to be a hybrid of action styles, paying homage to Tomb Raider, Pitfall and even Flashback. Heck, there's even a nod to Old Navy....I just bought one of those shirts the dude in the game is wearing....and it comes pre-ripped no less!

The jungle setting seems to be the perfect environment to run around and kill mercenaries, but what is the motivation for our character? Perhaps, he needs to save his own ass or maybe, just maybe, some kind of princess has been taken hostage and he must rescue her. Stranger things have happened.

As soon as we have a name, you'll hear about it.
