Netherland's
Engine Software announced their futuristic PSP racer
last year already, and was recently given the thumbs
up approval from SCEE which means you'll be seeing
PSP Racing (tentative title) in the first quarter
of 2005 alongside the PSP system launch.
Taking
a nod from previous futuristic racing titles such
as XGRA and WipEout, PSP Racing is turning out to
be a street racer taking place within technopunk industrial
environments. <SARCASM>Now that's a new and
innovative idea.</SARCASM>
Good
players will be justly rewarded for their superior
driving skills with many unlockable bonuses such as
new characters, environments and vehicles. Engine
Software has also announced that the game will take
advantage of the PSP's network and multiplayer abilities
which means you'll be able to race against your friends
- provided they own a PSP and PSP Racing.
All
we have currently in the way of screenshots are concept
artwork, which should not in any way shape or form
be mistaken for actual screenshots of the game in
progress.
