Action
RPG's are big with the latest generation of
gamers and Sony is hoping Untold Legends will
spur them on to purchase a brand spanking new
PSP at launch later this year. Let me put it
another way: if hack n slash games are your
thing and you want a PSP, this is the only title
that will satiate your hunger for this particular
genre.
The
title is looking very impressive so far, although
the extremely tight top down perspective is
raising some red flags. We hope that it can
be adjusted at least a few varying degrees "upwards"
so that more of the surrounding area can be
seen at one time.
We
expect that PSP owners will love the four player
multiplayer aspects of the game although it
hasn't been made quite clear whether four players
will be able to play the story
mode together or if there will be specific multiplayer
levels - for the moment we believe that 4 players
will be able to tackle the games main mode together.
As
with most of the PSP titles, visually Untold
Legends is looking good although the level of
detail seems to be toned a bit compared to some
games we've seen so far. It's safe to assume
that this might be due to the mutliplayer aspect
and it's a tradeoff we think will be worth it.
Untold
Legends comes your way in March. Stay tuned
for more screens and info.
