Ridge Racer
When choosing "OK" at the car and track confirmation screen (final screen before the race begins) in single race or time attack mode, hold Select.
Successfully complete all EX Tours to unlock the Max Tours.
When choosing a course in single race or time attack mode, hold Select.
Before the start of a race, press X, and at the bottom you will see all the numbers. Keep it at 7 to get a great start.
When going around any corner, enter a drift by holding X + Square and the direction of the turn. It will automatically keep you in the middle of the road. Any time you enter a drift, it will steer for you and keep you in the middle of the road.
On turn five, where there is grass before a tunnel, there are no walls preventing you from going across. This allows you to cut a corner on a slightly unnecessary turn and help you with the lead. Note: This trick works better with a Nitrous boost if the grass slows you down.
