Magnet Beam - Fire an adjustable beam that can be used as a platform! %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% GUTSMAN %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Start in Gutsman’s stage. Kill the 3 Metalls and you’ll come across 3 moving platforms. The top one is safe but the other two will dump you into the abyss if you’re not careful. Jump on the top platform and stay on till the middle platform is moving forward and beneath you. You may have noticed the breaks in the tracks the platforms move on. When the lower left porccion of the platforms moves over the break, it the ledge will collapse and drop you to your death if you stay on. What you do is jump when you reach the break and try to land on the platform when it retracts. You do this twice. Try to land on the lower pla- tform where you have to jump 5 times to avoid the gaps in the line and land on fresh land. You’ll face 3 Bunbi Helis next. They are tricky to avoid so try to kill them as they dive at you. Finally you’ll come across 4 Pickelmen one at a time then you will drop down. 3 Bunbi Heris appear kill them and drop down any 3 holes. To reach the 1-up, jump right a little then steer left as you drop to land on the platform then jump left for the 1-up. Drop down again to confront the Big Eye. They do a lot of damage to it’s best to avoid it but unlike the NES version of the game they are vulnerable even when grounded. Now you’re at the boss gate. Blow through the Metalls and you’ll lift another gate and face Gutsman. Boss Fight: Gutsman Gutsman can be tough so it’s best to kill him first. Shoot him as he jumps and try to get as much hang time in the air as you can when he lands to avoid being stunned by his earthquakes. Avoid the rocks he throws by trying to jump past the top rock and you’ll be alright. He will go down easier if you have Hyper Bombs. 3 Hyper Bombs and he is finished. Just be sure to time them right. As opposed to the NES Version, there are no Guts Blocks in the area to stand on for temporarily safety. %%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% CUTMAN %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%% You are attacked when you immediately scroll right by Bunbi Heris. Kill them then continue on. You’ll be facing some beaks. Shoot them when they open up. Start climbing up, killing beaks as you go. At the top, just move right and the Super Cutters won’t touch you. You’ll face a couple frogs which is no biggie. Now you come across some Suzies. Shoot them and climb up, killing the Suzies as you go. At the top, avoid the Super Cutters, kill the Bunbi Heris and grab the mega-life up if needed. Head down and be careful of the Full Metalls because they shoot in an 8-way pattern. You only face two. At the bottom is a Big Eye. Get past him and into the gate. Kill the Screw Drivers and face Cutman. Boss Fight: Cutman If you have the Super Arm. Try to nail Cutman with both Guts Blocks to kill Cutman in two shots. If you fail to kill him in two hits (fail to hit him with both blocks, then just use your Buster on him with all you got. Just avoid the Rolling Cutters he throws at you. Each time you shoot him, he gets knocked back a little bit and leaves you a little space between the two of you. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% ELECMAN %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Elecman is the next victim. Use Cutman’s Rolling Cutter on the Gabyoalls that you face in the first 2 verical rooms. In the 3rd vertical room, Avoid 2 electrical barriers by moving when they blink off. Then climb up again. Kill the Outchas on the way up the ladder. At the very top, you’ll come across an opccion which is cliché for many Megaman games to follow. This obstacle cons- ists of reappearing and disappearing blocks. Note the grid below in the order they appear. 4 3 2 1 Climb up either ladder and in the next room, more blocks appear and disappear. 4 3 2 1 Climb up once again and now we finally move horizontally though temporarily. It’s not a good idea to get the big life up, just move forward and go up the ladder. Now you have two paths. Left ladder takes you through 3 Gabyoalls first and the right one consists of electrical barriers. Keep moving up and you’ll find the platform weapon. Use Gutsman to get to it. Now continue the treck up avoiding the gabyoalls and electric barriers along the way. The Kamadohmas are no threat. Make it the top and go horizontal again and climb up again. Avoid the barriers, continue up and here goes the big eye again. Avoid him as always and head for the gate. Climb all the way up the ladder avoiding the electrical barriers and you face Elecman. Boss Fight: Elecman Don't bother fighting this guy with the regular weapon. He is super tough and can kill you with 3 Thunder Beams although you can knock him backwards with the regular weapon. The weapon of choice is the Rolling Cutter. He will fall in 3 hits. The worse is over. %%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% ICEMAN %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%% Next victim is Iceman. Watch your footing because this stage is slippery. Hey the guy’s name is Iceman so what you expect? You start off moving right and killing the Crazy Razy. Aim for the heads or else the top half will attack you similar to the Bunbi Helis. Next you gotta take a swim and make it through the Gabyoalls and Pepes. At the end, kill the Suzies and collect the large life-up if needed then drop down. You will face those disappearing and reappearing blocks similar to the ones in Elecman’s stage only blue and bigger. They appear like this 7 6 5 4 2 3 1 The best strategy is stand on 1, wait, jump on 3 before 1 disappears, wait, jump on 5 before 3 disappears, 6, 7, and to the left and drop down. More disappearing blocks appear. There is a shortcut assuming you have the Magnet Beam. Ignore the blocks and run right. When the blocks make it to the right, hop up the first two blocks and use the platform maker before the block you’re on disappears. Jump to the right. Normally you have to use the foot holders, but with the platform makers, it’s better. Move all the way right by holding the button to make the platform as long as you can then make another platform before the one you’re on vanishes. Repeat till you’re all the way to the right. There is a 1-up that is hard to get. Jump right against the wall and steer left to get to the 1-up. Collect the power-up in the room below. When you drop down you have to worry about the Big Eye but there is Run right to the gate. Avoid the Pengs and you’re off to fight Iceman. Boss Fight: Iceman His attack pattern consists of a high, mid, and low Ice Slasher in that order followed by a low, mid, high Ice Slasher. He can kill you with three hits just like Elecman and coincidenally speaking. The Thunder Beam can kill Iceman in three hits. So with a full-bar, first to score three hits wins. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% FIREMAN %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% That is too obvious. Ice=water and water beats fire. So Fireman is who you go after next. Use Elecman on the Screwdrivers and climb up and move right. Head back down, move right, avoid the fire pillars and Changkeys then climb up. Grab the small life-ups if you need them. Avoid the fire pillars though. Climb up, and move right. You got fire barriers (similar to the elcectric barriers in Elecman’s stage) in addition to the pillars to deal with now. Try to make it through the best you can. When you climb all the way down, watch out for more fire pillars and Changkeys as you move right at the very bottom. When you climb up at the end, you’ll face a touch obstacle of making it through the fire factory. If you got the platform maker, you can avoid the obstacle by making a platform to the left, hop on it, and then hop right and move up the ladder. Head right then climb down. Be wary of the Gabyoalls and Killer Bombs. Keep moving and ignore the Changkeys and watch out for the fire pillars at the end as you reach the gate. Kill the screwdriver on the way to Fireman. Boss Fight: Fireman Fireman has a pattern where he runs up, shoots a big Fireball and when you jump over it, a fire will be left burning where you are supposed to be if you didn’t jump. So steer right or left on the way down. Kill him with Ice Slasher. If you played the NES Version before, don't expect this to be as easy as it was back then as Fireman is a bitch to defeat this time around as his post-hit invinci- bility is longer. You'll need a full bar to survive. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% BOMBMAN %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Last but not least is Bombman. Head right and kill the Kamadohmas (they finally become a problem). As you go right, Boom Boom Boom's will rise from the pits and split into 4 mini-bombs and explode on the ground. The best way to avoid them is to run to the wall on the right standing on the ledge protruding from it (before the pit that each bomb comes out of). You’ll avoid 4 bombs and come across some Screwdrivers you can kill easily with Thunder beam. At the end, climb up 2 screens, be wary of the Beaks on the way, and head right again. You’ll come across Sniper Joe. Hit him with Iceman’s Ice Slasher. He’ll be frozen stiff, now just kill him without mercy. Continue right, deal with the Wave Bombs and Beaks anyway you can. Make it past the 3 Gabyoalls and climb up. Be careful of the Killer Bomb, when one leaves the screen, another enters depending on how high you are. Be careful of the spikes. Unlike the other Megaman’s you have no temporary invincibility to spikes after taking damage from enemies. When you make it to the top, Manbus will attack. Continue till you see a Sniper Joe. Freeze him and kill him to grab the 1-Up. Then go back and drop down. A Sniper Joe will be guarding the first gate to Bombman, freeze him and kill him, and then enter. Climb down and avoid the Suzies. It’s best to use Thunder Beam here to kill them. After climbing down two screens (or falling) you meet Bombman. Boss Fight: Bombman Bombman hops all across the room throwing bombs with an explosion radius of one inch. Try to stay out of the radius. 7 hits with the Fire Storm and it is over for Bombman. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% YELLOW DEVIL %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Congratulations, you made it to Dr. Wily’s Castle. To start things off, arm your Ice Slasher and run right. Freeze the Big Eyes in high jump. You can use Thunder Beam or Super Arm to destroy the blocks at the end. Use Thunder Beam since you use less energy. Freeze the fire pillar on its way down just low enough to step on, then do the same for the next one, the third doesn’t need to be stepped on, just jump for the ladder and climb up. Work your way to the ladder and don’t fall onto the spikes. Climb up and arm Fireman, use the barrier from the Fire Storm to kill the Kamadohas that try to jump you while climbing up and head right. If you need the large life up then go for it, otherwise, destroy the blocks below and head down. There are no killer bombs this time but you still avoid the spikes while climbing down. The floor and ceiling are full of spikes. Instead of trusting the foot holders, make platforms instead. At the end, grab the two mini weapon ups and climb up. You’re going to have to make platforms here. Jump as high as you can to make a platform but low enough to jump on them. You need at least 4 if you are good to make it to the ladder. Once you climb, head right and here you’ll have your first ever battle with the Yellow Devil, he appears in a whole lot of Megaman games to come in one form or another. Boss Fight: Yellow Devil Unlike the NES version, you only have 15 parts instead of 19 to avoid but its only necessary to dodge 7 of them. Look at the order below 1, 3, 6, 9, 10, 14 Good news, his entrance will not hurt you. Bad news, the fight is similar to the one in Megaman X5. You can't touch the tornado where the parts are going to go to and the tornado they came from. When he is together, zap his eye once with Thunder Beam. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% COPY ROBOT %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Start off killing the Bunbi Helis as you move right. When you drop, you’ll face Cutman. You have no blocks to throw at him so use your normal gun to kill him. Drop down and head right again. The next obstacle is Screwdrivers. They are less of a threat so avoid the shots if you can. At the end, you drop down and face Elecman again. 3 Rolling Cutters will kill him like before. Drop down, avoid the Boom BOom Booms then climb down. Electrify the Suzies and go for the 1-up. Work your way down killing Suzies and Beaks till you come into a room where you fight a clone of yourself. Boss Fight: Copy Robot Shoot your clone with all you got with simply your Mega Buster and it will push him back and allow you to jump over his buster shots from a distance. Keep up the assault till victory is yours. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% CWU-01P %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Work your way down killing Suzies and Screwdrivers, then at the bottom move right and a current will come in. The Pepes and Killer Bombs are easy to jump over. You will face off against 5 CWU-01Ps instead of 7 from NES. Boss Fight: CWU-01P Remember the Bubble Wrap Viruses from Megaman Battle Network series? Shoot the first 3 with normal shots then switch to Super Arm and kill the rest; the next one is faster than the last one. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%%DR. WILY %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Upon starting,Outchas will appear as you climb the ladder, move right and kill the Screwdrivers. You come across a moving platform. Watch out because there is a long gap in-between it. Hop onto the block above then jump to the platform on the right. The best way to get the 1-up and the Yashichi is to hang onto the ladder and wait for the platform then jump down and get them then wait for the platform's next pass and hop up the ladder, climb up and get in the little teleporter. You have a series of fights with the copies of 4 other remaining normal bosses. Kill them like before. Use Bombman on Gutsman. Throw an early bomb and bait him there. Now you face Wily himself. Boss Fight: Dr. Wily 1st and 2nd forms He fights in 2 forms. Use Fire Storm on the first form by simply avoiding the drop shots which is way too easy. 7 hits and that is it for form number one. The second one is a little bit tougher but not hard at all. Shoot Wily in the head when he is low enough and avoid his charged spiral shots. Get his energy down to zero to beat the Old-style Mega Man. ################ ### EPILOGUE ### ################ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Style These are all easy-mode walkthroughs, any changes for Normal or Hard Mode will be noted. ################## ### CHARACTERS ### ################## Mega Man: A Kind Hearted robot that vanquishes foes with his Buster Weapon Mega Man S: Press the jump button while pressing down to slide. Look! Everyone's... Everyone's going violent and haywire Light: Please my robots. Your friends.. You must stop them. For the sake of the world and all of humanity, you proceed. %%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% CUTMAN %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%% Start with Cutman Move right and stay at the top for the beginning of the stage and shoot the Bunbi Helis. Kill the Blasters before climbing up the ladder for the next set of vertical screens. At this point, you probably don't need the life-ups so ignore them and climb up the ladder. There is a checkpoint here and you'll see two blocks you need bombs. You don't have them yet so keep moving upwards. Move right fast enough to avoid the Super Cutters easily. Kill the Blasters and hit the next checkpoint. In the demo, icy blocks where here but now they are gone. Kill the Kamadhomas and they are very tricky to kill so careful not to get hit. Kill the Suzies then do the same for the next set of vertical screens. At the "not quite the top" They're are bomb blocks which only Bombman can go so go right. Get past the Super Cutters and kill the Bunbi Helis. At the end, start moving down. Get past the Manbus and at the bottom is a Big Eye. Run under him when he jumps high or you can use him for target practice. Enter the gate and you are a step away from Cutman. ~~~~~ +cutscene+ Cutman: Brother? I can't believe it. Dr. Wily was right. You've change into an evil fighting robot. Megaman: Cutman? What's going on? Cutman: You're an evil fighting robot, I'm going to stop you Mr. megaman and make you good again. +End cutscene+ ~~~~~ Boss Battle: Cutman Weakness: Super Arm Just avoid the Rolling Cutter he throws at you if you are able to. Each time you shoot him, he gets knocked back. If you have Gutsman's Super Arm then you can use that too as it does more damage. The Charge Shot is a good substitute if you have it on you and run out of Super Arm Blocks. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% BOMBMAN %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Move right and kill the Kamadomas. There are time bombs similar those seen in Megaman 8. The Bomb Boom Boom's are vulnerable now. Shoot them as they rise. At the bottom, kill the Screw Drivers then climb up the ladder. Get the check- point at the top and go right. Jump behind Sniper Joe and blast him. Kill the Blasters and Killer Bullets as you keep going. Get past one Gabyoall and touch the checkpoint then turn back and get the Heart after the other one passes by then carefully get past it on the way back. Climb the ladder and at the top of it is a screen with two ladders. Use the time bomb to reach the right one and then at the top use another time bomb for leverage to the weapon enrgy and climb the other ladder. There seems to be a spot that only Protoman can reach so continue to the right. Kill the enemies you face. With the Charge Shot, you can knock away Sniper Joe's shield and finish him off. Get the checkpoint and climb down. Kill the Kamadomas and climb down another ladder. Go right. The top path above requires an Oil Slider. So take the low road and kill the Suzies. Kill the Sniper Joes and there are a some ladders to climb down. Drop down when the Suzies are out of the way. Kill the Sniper Joe guarding the boss door and Bombman awaits. ~~~~~ +cutscene+ Bombman: Aah Aah! Don't run off. Let's have a little fun with my explosives. Megaman: Bombman! That's really dangerous. Stop setting off bombs. Bombman: you've should've come the day before yesterday. I had some big boom- booms then! +End cutscene+ ~~~~~ Boss Battle: Bombman Weakness: Rolling Cutter Bombman's patterns is a hop followed by a Hyper Bomb toss. With Rolling Cutters you can damage him and also cut his bombs in half. The best strategy is to nail him once and as he taunts, lanuch another Rolling Cutter that should nail him again once he recovers from his taunt. %%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% ICEMAN %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%% Move right and you'll enter the water. Shoot the Pepes they come at you. If they get stuck in a wall, they'll kill themselves too. Two Kamadomas appear. Take care of them and climb out of the water. Kill the Crazy Razy and fall down to the right. Kill the Shield Attacker when it turns away and drop down to the left. Touch the checkpoint. There are two series of vanishing blocks. The first one is easy so no need to explain anything. The second one, hop on the first three then wait then hop up to the left to land on the next block and proceed to the end. With Megaman S/C you can use your slide to bypass this. Jump on the Foot Holder and then jump onto the ladder and just fall down the ladder. Touch the checkpoint and you hop over the Gabyoalls and worry only about the Pepes. Another checkpoint is ahead. The fire geyser is only for use by Fireman so try not to get burned if you need life. This next area requires precise jump timing to land on the second block then drop down to the left. There are icy cubes below for Fireman use so ignore them and continue right. Carefully use the Foot Holders to make it over the spikes and drop dpwn to the right. There is an Elec Block above but ignore it. (Which Iceman was still weak to Thunder Beam don't you?). Drop down and there are more Ice cubes. Ignore them and kill the Crazy Razy and enter the door. ~~~~~ +cutscene+ Iceman: There is certain danger up ahead. Oh! Freeze it at all costs soldier. Megaman: Iceman. I don't believe it. Even a loyal Robot like you. Iceman: Well I... Soldier. Finish your mission! End cutscene+ ~~~~~ Boss Battle: Iceman Weakness: Hyper Bomb Launch a bomb and he'll run smack into it. He'll taunt and you can hit him with another bomb to run into. This is too easy. He didn't put up a fight. 5 Hyper Bombs and he's down. No competition. ~~~~~ %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% FIREMAN %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Climb the ladder and kill the Screwdriver. Climb down the next ladder. Kill an- other ScrewDriver. Climb the next ladder and defeat yet another ScrewDriver and as you climb down, one more ScrewDriver awaits. Freeze the fire geyer and use it as leverage to reach the 1-up. There is a weapon-up to make up for it. Climb the ladders. Kill the Hothead and for this screen and the next one, use the Ice Slasher to freeze the fire geysers for leverage to the ladders and climb them. Drop down to the checkpoint. Avoid the side geysers and kill the Hothead. Avoid more fire geysers and kill the ScrewDrivers. The 1-up is unreachable. SO climb down the ladder at the end. You need Time Slow on the next screen so continue going down instead. Avoid the geyser and fall down the ladder. The medic block will save you. Avoid the Changkeys coming out of the lava and kill the Hothead too. Avoid the Geysers and climb the ladder at the end. You may have noticed a fire producer, get the life-up etween bursts. Climb the ladder and get the save point. You have several Changkeys, Killer Bombs and Screwdrivers to get through in addition to a Fire Geyser before the ladder. Climb down and it's safe to kill the Hothead at the bottom before climbing down another ladder. At the end is a Big Eye and two geyers and Fireman is just ahead. ~~~~~ +cutscene+ Fireman: Fire! Burn! Just keep on moving right, killing Shotmen an Screw Drivers and you'll see an example of fire and oil clashing as a Hothead ignites the oil surface in two area. There's a Elec Block which you can't utilize right now. Climb the ladder. To get the 1-up, climb up to the next screen and use Fire Storm on the vails then climb down the ladder to the 1-up. Now double back and ignore the Shotman and climb the ladder above. On the next 2 screens, don't let the Hotheads ignite the oil surfaces and climb the ladders. On the third screen up, kill the ScrewDrivers and jump for the ladder. Get the checkpoint and climb another ladder. The Thunder Beam is required to get the 1-up below. So just go right and kill the ScrewDrivers. There is a surface where Gutsman is need to break the floor. Climb up two more screens with 2 Hotheads and a Shotman and oily floors within them and at the top of the second screen, kill the BigEye. When you finally reach the top you will reach a checkpoint. You have a couple of Foot Holder and Medic Blocks to move across and climb the ladder. There is an area where Cutman can reach so ignore that and climb the ladder to the left. Use your Rolling Cutters as you make another long upward trek. Watch out for the electric barriers and while climbing, you see another checkpoint. The Outchas are slow again. At the point where disappearing blocks are, take the left ladder and avoid the electric barriers and touch the check- point. Move across the Foot Holders and ignore the Time Block and climb the ladder. Touch the checkpoint and use the Rolling Cutter as you make one more vertical trek. Thanks dear!) ##################### Challenge is the mode where both the most novice and avid Rockman gamer will test themselves on different missions and other objectives. This is a true brain-teaser for everyone, as it'll take alot of effort to even beat one of these missions. There are 100 missions available. Rockman and the 8 Robot Masters each gets 10 different missions, and the last 10 consists of Boss Survival missions. If you can beat all of them, a surprise might be reveiled To unlock the 10 missions for each Robot Master, make sure you unlocked them as playable bonus characters first. To unlock Boss Survival mission, beat New Style mode at least once. There are a bunch of different tasks to do in some of the missions. Here's a brief description on some of them (not official titles): Life: This shows how much Life Energy you will begin the stage with. Some of the missions forces you to beat them with only one hit left on you, so don't get hit, or you'll Fail. Time Limit: Yes, some missions even have a certain time limit you need to beat them in, or you'll fail. When you do fail, the character you control will blow up and that's it. Item Pickup: Some missions even require you to pick up a certain amount of things or destroy a set number of enemies or other obstacles. A majority of these missions consists of destroying all Party Balls, or collect all Score Balls on a mission. Some of these missions are limitless in time, but others will force you to pick them up fast or it's instant death. ~~~~ Megaman Challenge Mode ~~~~ 001: Jump for Joy 002: Jump for Joy 2 003: Flee From Flees 004: Snipe Hunt 005: Bomb Walker 006: Special Master 007: Dodge Octo Battery (Suzy) Assault 008: Destroy 30 Bladers (Bunbi Helis) 009: Tackle Fire (Changkey) Frenzy 010: Score Ball Wrangler 001 You needs to jump from one platform to another to reach the flag at the very end of the course. Keep running and you'll gain enough speed to jump to each platform. It's wise to always run fast and jump from the very far edge of a platform. If you keep doing this, you won't fail at all. 002 This is another jump test, but filled with spikes. This course forces you to make very high jumps to survive all the spike mayhem that shows up near the end of the course. When you see two spikes that are diagonally aimed in a north-east direction, pay attention to the platform precisely under them. You need to run and the very, very end of your current platform position, jump over the spikes and make sure you land on the platform under the spikes. With enough patience and precision, you'll make it. 003 This place is completely filled with Kamadomas trying to jump towards you and damage you. On top of things, you can only afford to get hit once, or else you're dead. Wherever you're standing, they'll keep following you. When you begin the mission, a good tip is to always run to the right and not stopping at all. If you do things right, you'll be able to run past over 50% of all Kama- domas, since they'll jump over you instead. Close to the end, you need to be extra careful with how you're gonna avoid them though, since there is no longer a straight-road path anymore, but some small platforms in different heights that may make your life a bit miserable. 004 You versus a Sniper Joe, with only one health. Both of you each stand on a long pole and it's up to you to deal some quick shots on him and jump over his bullets, or else it's over. Just stand where you are and wait until he's vulne- rable (puts his shield down) and give him everything you got. He'll come down easily. Infact, it can be done in only 2 seconds if you button-mash with your Rock Buster quickly. 005 This is another spike-filled course, but your only platform assistance is a gang of Time Bombs. Yup, that's right, the same Time Bombs from Rockman 8 that can walk in a set direction. Basically, all you need to do is step on one Time Bomb, let it take you a bit to the right and then jump to the next Time Bomb before the bomb you were standing on blows up. Also, while you do that, there will be some white blocks in the way. Make sure you shoot all of them as early as possible, unless you wanna get stuck and blown to pieces. Hit the flag and you win! 006 This mission requires you to break 25 Party Balls located in different places, and you have access to all weapons. First things first, shoot the very first one with the buster, then switch to the Rolling Cutter to destroy those that are hidden behind walls, then you switch to the Thunder Beam to destroy those that are placed on top of each other, both high and low. You will now see a few Bomb Blocks. Stand a bit to the left of them and throw a Hyper Bomb to get rid of the blocks, then throw another one to deal with the Party Ball hidden there. Also, there's a spikebed with a Party Ball over it. From a distance, throw a Hyper Bomb to blow it up. A bit further in the course, you'll spot some Fire Towers aligned in different directions. The best way to deal with them is to shoot an Ice Slasher when they're elevated almost halfway. That way, while they're frozen, you can stand on them and destroy some more Party Balls that way. At the large pit where there's some Fire Towers shooting to the left and right, step down a bit to the left and shoot an Ice Slasher through the thick wall where the Fire Tower to the left of the large pit is. Now you can quickly run over it and freeze the next one, while destroying a Party Ball in the process. Then you'll see some Guts Blocks, so get rid of them with Super Arm. Now you're close to the end of the course. When you see an Oil Block, you sho- uld first shoot an oil patch with the Oil Slider, and then run on it to skate. Keep skating forward, destroying a bunch of blocks and Party Balls in the proc- ess. Don't stop yet. When you see that you have 2 Party Balls left, stop a bit and check what is happening near the end of the course. A whole row of Yoku Blocks are appearing and dissapearing fast. The best tip here is to keep using the Oil Slider to skate over the blocks, and then hit the 2 remaining Party Balls that way. 007 Suzy Mayhem! And you can only afford one hit! Here's the thing. You need to keep running to the right and not stopping. When you're close to a Suzy and it is about to fly to the left, jump over it. You'll be threatened by more Suzys in pairs. Don't be afraid and keep running and jumping over them. The jumping is important. A bit further, you'll spot 5 Suzys in different heights, 3 at the bottom and 2 at the top. Wait for them to fly towards you, then jump between their openings that they're suddenly revealing. After that, walk to the right and you will be able to fall to the next floor. In this next floor, wait until all Suzys are stuck to the roof, and then run to the left and fall down the next hole to the next floor. Now 6 Suzys are in the way, 2 each in pair. Wait until they're on the roof, then stand between them when they go down again, making sure you won't get hit. Do this one more time and you'll run past them completely. Now it's just the last 4 Suzys left. Quickly run to the right and fall down the area seen a few tiles down, to run past the first 2 Suzys that are now flying to the left, over your head. The last 2 Suzys are flying towards you, so jump back to the upper area you came from and they won't hit you. When they fly to the right, follow them and don't stop running. When you see them stuck to an edge to your right, wait until they decide to fly to the left again, then just jump over them. Now the flag is within reach and this horror is over. 008 This mission requires you to shoot down 30 Bunby Heli's under 1 minute, and you can only afford getting hit once. This one is way more easier than the other missions so far. Keep running to the right and shoot the first batch of Bunby Heli's in a long row flying close to the ground. Then you just need to carefully jump to one platform to the next, while shooting Bunby Heli's along the way. Keep this up slowly and steadily, and they'll go down simple and quietly. 009 Another one-health mission. Drop down to the next floor. Changkeys will now fly from the holes to your left and right and then land on the oil platform under you. Don't run too much on this platform, or you'll slip and the Chang- keys will definately kill you instantly for your mistake. Stand still on the platform, and only face the left and right directions while you jump, nothing else. Also, while jumping, shoot every damn Changkey you see, or they'll kill you. Don't let them get to you at all. Don't let them touch the ground either or the floor will ignite and you're dead. Kill 16 Changkeys and this mission is complete. 010 This is a 100 Score Ball Get mission. There are no penalties here, like low health or not being to use any weapons. Keep running to the right and pick up the free Score Balls placed in a row close to each other and keep on moving. Pick up the ones on the air as well. A bit further in the course, you'll spot the Flip Platforms from GutsMan's stage. Stand on them and jump at the precise right moment so you won't fall and pick up Score Balls on your way. Now, pick up some more between some narrow areas at the top and bottom part of the cur- rent floor and then jump on a Hammer Pendulum-thing that swings to the left and right and when it's on the right side, make a huge leap to the right and pick up 4 Score Balls there. Now proceed further and ignore the ladder seen there. You will see a long row of Score Balls in a huge pit. Basically, you need to fall down and get all of the Score Balls while falling a couple of screens down. Make sure that while you fall, press left a bit and you'll most likely get them all. If you didnt get them all on the first try, take the ladder up again, or redo the whole mission. After this, proceed to the right to see a long row of Conveyor Belts, and a White Block Generator a bit further in. Make sure that while the block gets transported to the left with the conveyor belt, run past the generator quickly and safely, otherwise you'll see more white blocks. Now keep walking to the right and pick up a few Score Balls in the sky. In this last batch of Conveyor Belts, shaped like a staircase, be ready to use Time Slow on the next White Block Generator. When the block is created, use the Time Slow to slow time, so the block gets some more screentime, giveing you lots of time to skip to the right past the conveyor belts mayhem and touch the flag at the end. ~~~~~ Cutman Challenge Mode ~~~~~ 001: Wall Jump Seminar 002: Wall Jump Seminar 2 003: Octopus Battery (Suzy) Panic 004: Octo Battery (Suzy) Exterminator 005: No Damage Flying Shell (Crazy Bomber) Heck 006: WHen Pruning Shears Attack 007: Survive Rare Enemy 008: No climbing Frozen Walls 009: Crazy Containers 010: Unstoppable Penulum 001 The easiest mission in the whole game! No seriously! This course is only one PSP screen long. Run to the right a bit, jump to the left wall and make a wall-jump in the right direction. The flag is yours. 002 Some more wall-jumping testing. Basically, you need to kick on the right wall so you can reach the platforms that are a few blocks high in the areas. Keep heading to the right until you come to a ladder. No need to climb it down. Instead, you need to fall down the narrow hole to the left of it and wall-jump on the right pillar to the left of the ladder, so you'll land on the area to your bottom-left. Now go down to the next floor and this time, you should kick the left wall to reach the flag. 003 Suzy Mayhem! This one truly tests your skills in avoid incoming enemies flying towards you. You have can only afford one hit or else you die. The trick here is that if you want to jump to the right, always do that from a wall situ- ated in the left direction, and vice versa if you want to jump left. Wait until a Suzy is about to get close to you, then use a wall next to you and wall-jump it and jump over them that way. Keep walking to the right and you'll spot some small blocks in the sky. Use the blocks to wall-jump to the right, so the groups of Suzys won't hit you. Keep moving to the right and when you see 4 Suzys in a row close to the ground and they're about to get you, use a block to your right seen above and use it to jump left just a bit, but press right while in the air and you'll fall in that direction instead and you'll make it. Proc- eed and wait until the next group of Suzys are on the right wall. Use the left one to get to the ladder. On the next floor, there's a lonely Suzy there. You can be a daredevil and run to it and jump on the left wall seen on its left side, or just wait until it's close to you, then jump up the walls and the ladder above you. Next up, there are 3 Suzys in the way and 1 to your right. It will fly away to the right though, so don't worry about it. Wait until the Suzys directly above you flies to the right, then use the blocks on your left side to wall-jump and reach the ladder to your right. Next floor, run after those Suzys that are flying to the left, by wall-jumping the long pillars in the middle of the screen. Get to the left-side pillar and make sure you're standing on it. Jump over the Suzys with precision when they're about to fly to the right and once they're gone, take the ladder up. Here's the last batch of Suzys. They will fly above the ladder you're stuck to, so wait until they all fly to the right side of the screen. Climb up and wait next to some walls seen above you. When the Suzys flies towards you now, keep wall-jumping the walls above you until there are no Suzys in your way and there's an open space for you. Quickly run to your right and up the ladder and the flag on the next floor is yours. 004 You need to kill 30 Suzys with the Rolling Cutter. You'll also stumble across spikes, White Blocks and Cut Blocks. When a block is above the spikes, make sure to not hit them, or you'll have problems reaching the other blocks and platforms further ahead. The best method here is to hit the Suzys when they are stuck on the roof or are a bit higher up than the blocks you're standing on. That way, you won't accidentily destroy the blocks you're standing on. So throw Rolling Cutter while you're jumping and you won't have so much problems with the first half of the course. The second half requires you to throw Cutt- ers through a wall if you don't want to hit the blocks ahead and just want to hit the Suzys. When there's only 4 Suzys left, you'll be standing at a huge pile of blocks. You're allowed to destroy the middle blocks if you know what you're doing. Stand on either side of this area, not touching the spikes, and hit the remaining Suzys from your current position. 005 Walk to the left and fall down the pit. OK, here's what you must do. Keep standing on the left side of the screen and destroy 25 Manbu's to clear this mission. Seems tough huh? Not really. See, if you stand on the edge of the platform you're currently standing on (to your right), and you have enough courage, you can time your Rolling Cutter attacks against the Manbu's before they even get the change to open their shells and shoot at you. So stand at that edge and time your Cutter about a second you see each Manbu on-screen and you may be able to hit every one of them without failure. 006 Walk to the left and climb the ladder. You need to destroy 25 Party Balls to clear this mission. Ignore the 3 Party Balls seen to the right, you'll deal with them from the other side. Climb the ladder and destroy the 2 Party Balls above you. Go up the next floor. Use the lonely block above you to hit both the Party Ball to your right. Climb the ladder on the left side. Once you're up in the next area, walk to the right a bit and use the small wall-structure above you to bounce a bit to the right and hit the 2 Party Balls sealed inside a small room. Now climb up the ladder above your left side. Destroy the 3 Party Balls here and keep going right, down the pit and when you're falling in the next screen, use the right wall to kick yourself to the lonely Party Ball next to some Guts Blocks. Now you may fall to the right side (and keep going right). In the screen below you, you need to jump over the spikes infront of you. Use a wall above your left side to get over them and destroy the Party Balls along the way. Climb down the ladder. In the next floor, stand to the right of the lonely spikeball and throw a Cutter to the left, dealing with the Party Ball in the middle of the screen. Use the wall to your right to jump to the left side and deal with the 3 other Party Balls with the proper use of wall-jump and throw Cutters in the air. Now you may see a small alcove you can get to on the left side. Enter it and hit the 3 Party Balls you saw at the start of the mission, by throwing Cutters through the wall. 007 This mission requires you to survive against a whole bunch of Telly's for a whole minute, on an icy platform, and you can only afford being hit once. Cruelty, I says! What you need to do is to make alot of open space so you can deal with all the Telly's chasing you. Best way to do this is to first strike a bunch of them either on the left and right side of the platform, run in that direction and hit the remaining Telly's behind you. Run in the other direction and create some more open space by dealing with more Telly's infront of you. Repeat this until time runs out. You shouldn't make any hasty turns on this slippery platforms. If you can, make small jumps only (not to high) to be able to skip in the direction you want to head without being hit or falling in the corner areas of this course. 008 This mission teaches you the difference between a regular wall and a frozen one. You can wall-jump on regular ones and not the frozen types. Therefore, you'll go through a few tests 2 floors up before you get to the real challenge. Once you're at the 3rd floor, make sure you wall-jump the small brownish blocks that are seen together with the icey ones. You need to lead to the ladders seen in the opposite directions of your position, so if you see a small block that you can wall-jump on, fall to it and press the jump button at the precise mome- nt you're in contact with it. With a bit of trial and error, you'll reach the ladder. In the fourth floor, there's a huge mix of regular and ice blocks toge- ther and you need to reach the ladder on the left side. You're gonna have to fall down this pit and make sure you press the jump button on the small block seen at the most southern area of this screen. On the next floor, wall-jump the block on the right side in a zig-zag pattern to reach the ladder above you. At the top floor, use the wall on your left side to bounce over the spikes. The same thing goes with the block at the top part of the screen. Now you need to fall down and hit a brownish block so you'll reach the flag on the right side of the screen. 009 The stage begins with a bunch of Cut Blocks blocking the way for you. Dest- roy them with the Cutter and jump on the walls to proceed. You'll also spot some Guts Blocks a bit further in, and you can't destroy them, so just focus on the Cut Blocks. You'll see a conveyor belt at the top area of the screen to your right and a Guts Block is approaching you. Wait until it's very close and jump on the right side of the Guts Block when it's about to fall and wall-jump to the ledge to your left. Now keep going further in the stage and get to the conveyor belt at the bottom part of the screen. Stand at the edge of that conv- eyor belt's Guts Block and be ready to jump to a wall that can be seen on the roof and wall-jump it so you'll land in the area to your right. Now a bunch of Guts Blocks and Cut Blocks gets constantly created by generators. Jump past the Guts Block generator when there's some space and keep throwing Cutters near the Cut Block generator and you'll create enough space to travel further. Go thro- ugh that space quickly or they'll come back fast. Wall-jump on the right side of those generated Cut Blocks to proceed. Now, the next conveyor belt area requires you to stand on the right edge of a Guts Block and when you and the block are about to fall down the pit, quickly wall-jump the right side wall and then the left one at the top of the screen to proceed unharmed. the next conve- yor belt area has generators that keeps making Guts Blocks that falls to the left and the right. Focus on the one that falls to the right and stand on it so you can reach the ledge to the next area. This one is a bit simpler, but it still takes efforts from you, since there will be Cut Blocks generated and transported on generators. Keep running to the right and keep throwing Cutters on them and reach the ladder above you. Alright, the last one requires a bit of thinking to beat. A bunch of Cut Blocks and Guts Blocks are blocking your way to the flag. In the first area, focus on throwing a Cutter at the Cut Blocks above you, in hope of them not falling at you. Now deal with the rest of the block in this particular area. The last area has 2 Cut Blocks and a Guts Block between them. Throw a Cutter at the top Cut Block through the wall and you'll have enough space to wall-jump onto the Guts Block and reach the flag. 010 This is a Hammer Pendulum platform type mission. You'll see these Pendulum- shaped things hanging up-side-down and they swing to the left and to the right, and you need to stand on them to proceed to the right. Ignore the first one and jump on the second one to get past the first pit. Now to reach the third pendulum, use the small wall pillar stuck to the roof and make sure you land on it properly. The next area has 2 pendulums over a large pit, so stand on them with precision and safely land on solid ground on the other side. Walk a bit to the right to see a ladder. To reach it, wait until the pendulum above you is about to swing to the right, then wall-jump the right side of it to reach the ladder. The next floor has small spikebeds with a pendulum over them. Land on the platform and let it swing you to the ladder on the left side. The next floor requires you to fall down a pit, land on the pendulum that swings there and jump to the bottom- right corner of the screen. Do it when the platform swings to thr right side, land on it and then jump to the right. Walk to the right to see another ladder and a pendulum very high up. Use the right side wall to bounce to the platform and then wall-jump the platform's right side to get to the ladder. Climb the ladder and another one to get 2 floors up. Jump on the right side of the pendu- lum seen in the skies to reach the ladder above you, but once you reach the next floor, don't climb up all the way. A pendulum blocks your way, so wait until it's swinging to the left or right, then jump on it and wall-jump the left side of the right pendulum to reach the ladder. Get up on the ladder and touch the flag! ~~~~~ Gutsman Challenge Mode ~~~~~ 001: Container Factory 002: Containers Underfoot 003: Stack Attack 004: Hard headed Hero 005: Throw Mania 006: Elevator Panic 007: Can't Make Blocks on Conveyors 008: Secure a Foothold 009: Only 5 at a time 010: Stack and Climb 001 This course is only one PSP screen long, and there's a spikebed on the right side. Use GutsMan's Super Arm ability to place Guts Blocks on the floor and reach the flag that way. 002 You start at the top-left side of the screen. Keep digging out Guts Blocks under you to reach the ladder. On the next floor, focus on only digging out the Guts Blocks on the right side of the screen to reach the flag. 003 You have to strategically place Guts Blocks correctly to beat this mission. Begin jump onto the second single platform on this course and place 3 Guts Blocks in a stair-shape onto the third platform. Stand on the top-most Guts Block you created and make 2 more Guts Blocks in a stair-shape on the fourth platform. You can now reach the fifth platform. From there, create 3 Guts Blocks in a stair-shape on the sixth platform so you can reach the last plat- forms seen above the ladder on your screen. Now the trick here is to stand on the eighth platform and place 2 Guts Blocks shaping like stairs in the left direction instead of the right direction like you just did a while ago. Stand on the Guts Block that's at the bottom and pick it up. The moment you pick it up, control GutsMan so he falls to the right and lands on the eighth platform again. The Guts Block that was at the top will now be one tile directed to the left, and you can now throw away the Block you're carrying. Make one last Guts Block onto the Block that moved one tile to the left and you can now reach the ladder. On the next floor, make one last Guts Block to reach the flag! 004 Pick up 24 Score Balls. You begin at a narrow area with a Guts Block under you and lots of small blocks that has a crack on them. If you jump on them, they will break, but if you're only walking on them, they will remain unbroken. Pick up the Guts Block and fall down a few floors, picking up a couple of Score Balls in the process. On the third screen, it doesn't matter which Score Ball you're going for first. If you fall, just place a Guts Block so you can reach the second one. Now fall down to the fourth screen. Now here, you need to fall to the left narrow road, so you don't break the small blocks and fall down the spikes. Now take small steps to the left until you can reach the Guts Block stuck there. Pick it up and throw it. Now whenever you're ready, hurry and run to the Score Ball on the left side of the screen and then you may fall down to the next floor. Now you see 3 cracked blocks and one Guts Block on them. The best thing to do here is to first place a few Guts Blocks of your own and then walk onto the Guts Block that's placed on the cracked blocks. Stand on the edge of the second Guts Block you created and pick up the Guts Block that stands on the cracked blocks and then throw it away. Whenever you're ready, pick up the 2 Score Balls that was under it, then keep running to the right without stopping, or else you'll break a few small blocks and fall down the pit. Whenever you see Guts Block blocking your road, pick them up while you're jumping and nothing else. When you get to the spikes that blocks your road, jump on the cracked block that you stand on to create a new road, and keep walking to the right without falling. You'll eventually reach the ladder to the next floor. On the next floor, smash the blocks here with your head and pick up the Score Ball. To be able to reach the next floor, you must carefully smash the blocks on the left side of the screen with your head and keep doing so while carefully walking onto the blocks under you. Do this quick and make a desperation jump to reach the ladder. Smash more blocks with your head here, and on the right side, smash the 2 blocks closest to you to make a Guts Block fall down. Throw it away, pick the Score Balls up and climb to the next floor. The last obstacle requires you to keep running and just fall down on the blocks on the left side of the screen one at the time, and at the same time, hit the blocks above you with your head. Do this quickly and make one last desperation jump to reach the ladder to the next floor. All you need to do now is just throw away some Guts Blocks and pick up the last Score Balls. 005 This mission requires you to kill 15 Manbu's with the use of Guts Blocks. Begin the mission by picking up a Guts Block close to you and fall down on the Flip Platform under you. Don't worry, it won't flip you down the pit. A gener- ator behind you will constantly create Guts Blocks and you need to pick them up and throw them at the Manbu's. A tip here is to stand on the left side of the Flip Platform, facing to the left, and when you get close to a Block that has been generated and it gets lighter (indicating that you can carry it) press the Super Arm button and carry it up. Now, when you're gonna attack the Manbu's, don't jump too high when you throw the block at them. Make light jumps and throw the block when they open up (about the point where the Flip Platform is situated on the right side of the screen). Repeat this pattern without missing the chance to pick up a Guts Block and you'll definately make it! 006 It's a Flip Platform mission. The trick to clear this course is to place Guts Blocks on the Flip Platforms and then build a stair to reach the flag at the end. Plus, you can only afford being hit once. On the first Flip Platform, place one Block on it so you can cross the pit, or just travel on the Flip Pla- tform instead. Now, the next area has a Flip Platform line that's broken on its right side, so you need to wait and then place a Guts Block on the Flip Platf- orm. It will carry the Block over to a spikebed and once the Block falls on the spikebed, you can easily jump to the Block and place some more Blocks to shape a bridge to cross to the other side. The next area has 2 Flip Platforms over a pit. From the current spot you're in, place a Guts Block on the first Flip Pla- tform, then build a staircase and stand at the very top of the staircase. Make sure you drop a Guts Block on the second Flip Platform, and then jump on it. Build another staircase onto this Flip Platform, or wait until its on the far right side and place one on the single spikeball that can be seen a bit furt- her. From there, you can create a staircase to reach the upperlevels. The fou- rth area requires you to place a Block on one Flip Platform and then quickly jump on it and when the Platform flips, the Block will fall on the next Platf- orm below. If all this is successful, you can now place some more Blocks on the spikeball seen next to this Platform and build yet another staircase to the next upper area. Next, you must place a Guts Block righr infront of you, so a Bunby Heli won't be able to get to you and after a while, it'll die by itself, because it bumped into the Block too much. Sometimes, an extra Bunby Heli may appear, so grab your Guts Block and be ready for it and then throw the Block at it. Now, place a Block on the Flip Platform infront of you and quickly stand on it. Create yet another block as either a shield or as weapon. A bunch of Bunby Heli's will fly towards you so make sure they don't get to you, or you die. Throw a block at them or just use a block as shield so they will just ram onto it and they eventually die. Actually, it's better to just place a Block as a shield, since none of the Bunby Heli's will reach you then. Keep riding the Flip Platform all the way and you'll reach the flag! 007 This mission is packed with conveyor belts and Guts Block generators. What you need to do first is to run to the first generator that spits out a Guts Block, stand on the Block and create a staircase. At the end of the conveyor belt, you'll spot a pit. When the blocks are about to fall down the pit, jump safely to the ledge in upper part of the screen. On the next conveyor belt, ride the Guts Block there and place only one block on it so it shapes like a small staircase. At the end of this ride, you will see a Guts Block blocking your road. Quickly pick it up and walk to the right, or else you'll fall down the pit along with the staircase you created. Now walk to the right a bit and jump over the small pit there. Keep walking and jumping on the conveyor belts that faces the left direction and go all the way until you can't go further. You should face a wall. Tap the left direction once so you stare in that dir- ection. Once you're ready, create a Guts Block, quickly jump on it and keep making more and more Guts Block in the right direction (not left). You'll eventually place one of your Guts Blocks on a spot where it won't move on a conveyor belt. This is your chance to climb it and proceed with your mission. Now there's a conveyor belt and a pit ahead. Create a Guts Block on it and stand on the Block, when it falls and you almost fall down the pit, quickly jump to the right and you'll make it. The next area has a long row of conveyor belts and a long row of spikes at the top. A bit further ahead on the road, there will be a conveyor belt on the same ground you are at and a conveyor belt that runs very fast. Your job is to place a Guts Block on the conveyor belt where the spikes are and then chase it on the bottom road. When it gets to you at the far-right side of the screen, quickly stand on it and create a stai- rcase of a total 4 blocks. Run to the right edge of this staircase and be ready to jump to the other side, or you will fall. When the whole staircase of 4 blocks falls down, you should also jump at the same time, to the right, so you will safely land on the next area. Now you will see a ladder and a generator that keeps making Guts Blocks that falls to the ground. Stay on the bottom floor and make one Guts Block right under the generator. Now the generator will stop making blocks and you can take the upper road to the next generator. On this generator, stay on the upper floor and place a Guts Block right under the generator (at the edge of the platform you're currently standing on). The gene- rator will stop making more blocks, and you can take the bottom road to proc- eed. Jump over to the other side and face the next obstacle. This last obsta- cle will have a generator that spits out lots of Blocks and a fast conveyor belts pushes them all the way to the right. Make sure that you spot some space inbetween the blocks and jump down to the conveyor belt, run a bit to the right and keep jumping on the Blocks that comes at you, until you can reach the Guts Block above you that blocks the road to the flag. Jump to that block and pick it up and get the flag! 008 Big Eye versus you! And you only have one hit on you or you'll die. You will be placed between two Guts Blocks, and the Big Eye keeps jumping on the Blocks. The trick to beat him is to wait until he's jumping to the left. Pick up the Guts Block on your right side and throw it away. Quickly run to the left Guts Block ready to jump onto the block when the Big Eye is about to jump to the right. You have enough space to jump past him. Now build a staircase facing the right-diagonal direction, and you will lock the Big Eye behind the stair- case. The staircase should consists of 3 blocks. Stand on the second block and pick up the third one. When the Big Eye jumps high, throw it at him and create another Guts Block where you are and pick it up. Keep making and throwing bl- ocks at the Big Eye everytime he jumps high and you'll beat him! 009 You have only one hit to afford here and the place is surrounded with both Elec Waves and spikes. Climb the ladder to your left. The trick to beat this course is to always stand at the very edge of a platform and place Guts Blocks onto the Elec Waves to proceed. You can't stand on a Elec Wave and make Blocks that way. You can only do that from a regular platform or if you already stand on a Guts Block. Plus, you're only allowed to have 5 Guts Blocks total on the screen. If you throw some blocks away or walk a bit away from them, the PSP screen can make them dissapear (somehow). To even be able to proceed further, you need to master the staircase building technique from the last few missions. Place 2 Blocks on the lonely spikeball to make a staircase, stand at the very edge of it and place a Block on the first Elec Wave. Throw away the top block you placed on the spikeball so you can make more blocks. Build a staircase on the Elec Wave, stand on the edge of it and place a Block on the next Elec Wave that shoots electricity to the right instead of up. Keep throwing away old blocks and place new ones in this manner. Stand on the Block that's on the second Elec Wave and build a staircase on the 2 spikeballs infront of you. Throw away the block on the Elec Wave or walk away from it. Now you face anot- her Elec Wave and a spikeball and another Elec Wave. Keep stacking up Guts Blocks onto these 2 threatful objects and remove old ones along the way and you will eventually reach the flag at the end. Just a head note: When you place your blocks, make sure it's as far out to the right as possible, so you'll get some extra distance and can reach the flag faster. 010 When you arrive on the course, you'll spot the flag right above you, but you can't reach it. You must go down the ladder and take the long way to it. What a drag! Start by climbing down the ladder, jump onto the Flip Platform that has a Guts Block on it, place another Guts Block on the right side of it. Pick it up and wait until you see a Shield Attacker on the right side of the screen. Throw the Guts Block you created at him and quickly make another block and carry it. There will be another Shield Attacker approaching you. Throw it and make yet another block and carry it. 2 Shield Attackers will fly at you this time, so throw the block at them and they'll blow up. You don't have to jump and throw the blocks. Just stand still and do that. Just make sure that you don't pick up the Guts Block that stands on the Flip Platform, because you will need it to reach some high ledges a bit further ahead. The ledges you see will have conveyor belts on them, so when you walk on them, you should also jump a bit so you can gain control of your movement while you keep following the Flip Platform you were riding on. You need to follow it all the way or you have to redo this mission all over again. On the third ledge, there will be no conveyor belts, but the Flip Platform of yours will drop the Guts Block down the pit, so you need to walk to the edge of this current ledge, place a new Guts Block on the Flip Platform and then quickly ride on it. The fourth ledge has a very fast conveyor belt pushing you to the right, so you must jump in the air when you walk on this belt so you keep gaining control of GutsMan without falling. You should only fall down once the Flip Platform is right under you. The fifth ledge has 3 Guts Blocks blocking the road and the Flip Platform moves away from you fast. You must pick up these blocks while jumping, since that's faster than standing still and pick them up. Keep walking to the right, keep jumping and press the attack button and you will get rid of those blocks fast and reach the Flip Platform without problems. Once you are on the Flip Platform again, create a Guts Block on it and carry it. Throw the block at a Shield Attacker once you see it, and then climb up the ladder infront of you. Once up, go to the left and jump on the Flip Platforms with careful precision. You will spot a Guts Block on a ledge after 2 Flip Platforms. Stay there and create another Guts Block and carry it with you (don't throw it away yet). You must now carry the Guts Block in your hand to the left without falling off the Flip Platforms. The first platform is high up, then another one is on a lower level, then at the middle of the screen. On this middle-part platform, you will see a platform that is far away from you but is still approaching you. Stand on the edge of the middle-level platform you stand on and jump to the left with all your might, and you will make it. Jump onto the next couple of platforms from here. After about 3 platforms, you will see a Flip Platform that flips at the end of the line (making anything that stands on it fall down), but you still need to ride this platform. Jump onto it and when it's about to flip, jump down to the platform right under it. You will hopefully make it, otherwise you have to start everything over again. Wait on this new platform and wait until the one you stood on moves to the left and then you should jump on it again and ride all the way to the left. Now you can safely jump on the next platform at the bottomleft corner of it, and the next platform is in the same direction too, so jump on that as well. Now you're only 2 platforms away from the flag, so go left and jump on the middle-level Flip Platform that you see on your left, stand there and let the Shield Attacker get to you. Throw the Guts Block at it and then wait for the last Flip Platform to show up. Jump on it and it will take you to the flag! ~~~~~ Iceman Challenge Mode ~~~~~ 001: Freeze and Climb 002: Climb Ice Tower 003: Use attacks to your advantage 004: Freeze and Go 005: Cross the Frozen Fire 006: Freezing Blizzard 007: Cross Octopus Battery (Suzy) Canyon 008: Cross Flee (Kamadoma) Valley 009: Freeze! You're Toast 010: Killer Bullet Ice Field 001 This one is simple. Run to the right, then wait until the Suzy flies to the right, jump and freeze it. Jump on it and jump to the flag! 002 You can only afford to be hit once or you will die. Wait until the bottom- most Suzy is on the right side, then freeze it and jump on it to reach the lad- der. On the next room, walk close to the Metall and freeze it when he's vulner- able. Jump to the ladder. In the next room, stand close to the hole on the right side of the ground and freeze a Bombombomb that pops up. Jump on it and climb the ladder above. In this next room, wait until the Killer Bomb is almost under the ladder, then freeze it and climb the ladder. Then you will spot a Batton on the roof close to the next ladder. Walk to the right and lure it to you, then run past it, jump and freeze it on the left side of it. Jump on it and climb the ladder. In this next room, either jump over or run past the Kama- doma and stand at the very far left side of the room. Wait for the Kamadoma to get close, then freeze it and jump to the ladder above. The last room has a Bunby Heli chasing you. Hurry adn run to the right side of the room and wait for it to fly down to you. Freeze it and jump to the ladder. Now you can run to the flag and grab it! 003 You versus a Changkey Maker! You have very low health too. You will fall down to the battlearena, and then you will spot the Changkey Maker on the top- right side of the screen. You need to wait for him to throw Changkeys to you. When the first Changkey has fallen long enough, freeze it, jump on it and fre- eze the next one, so you build a staircase up to the Changkey Maker. Once you are high up enough, keep mashing the attack button onto the Changkey Maker for about a second, and then fall down again. If you stay on the Changkey too long, it will unfreeze and it will burn (and kill) you. Run to the left again and build the staircase of Changkeys up again and repeat this process until the Changkey Maker is killed! 004 You have very low health on this mission. You will see alot of Big Eyes stuck behind walls. When they jump very high, you should freeze them and run right past them. You can also let them make low jumps, freeze them and then keep shooting their eyes and they will eventually die with enough shots. You can also shoot your Ice Slashers through walls, so things gets very simple here. You should let the fifth Big Eye live though, since you need him as a platform to reach the flag at the end. Just wait until that Big Eye jumps very high, then freeze him and run past him, all the way to the wall on your right side, where the flag can be seen. Wait there and let the Big Eye jump close to you. Make sure that when you freeze it, it does not jump. Let it stand still, then freeze it and jump on it. Now you should jump to the flag! 005 Low health on this mission too. Begin by freezing the Fire Tower in front of you and jump on it and to the ledge above. Now you should shoot at least 3 Ice Slashers, one on each Fire Tower infront of you, so you can skip on them and jump over the fourth Fire Tower. In the next area, wait until the Fire Tower is all the way up, then freeze it, run on it and jump over the pit in front of you. In the third area, hit the Fire Wave infront of you right away, run on it and jump to the other side. Now there's another Fire Wave in front of you and a Fire Wave on the other side. Freeze the first one and then the second one when the stream of fire is long enough on both of them and then run over them to the next area. Now you need to wait until the Fire Waves infront of you are low enough on the ground. Freeze each of them and walk past each one care- fully. If you're brave enough, you can wait until the first Fire Wave has the fire lowered down to the floor completely, then you just run straight forward without stopping. All the Fire Waves will lower their fire once you run close to them, so when you keep running, you will make it without any damage. Now you will see 4 Fire Waves infront of you and this time, you need to freeze them when they're not so long and when the tip of their fire is close to the roof. Freeze and walk past them slowly and safely. You can do the same thing as you did on those last 3 Fire Waves before though: Wait until the Fire Waves are not shooting long fires, then keep running past them without stopping, and you will once again get past them without damage. The next area has 2 Fire Waves: one in front of you and one stuck to the roof. Focus on the one infront of you. Freeze it and run over it while the Fire Wave on the roof is not breathing any fire. Run quickly over it and don't be afraid. The next Fire Waves are breathing fire upwards, and first one goes up and down. Freeze the first one when the elevat- ion of its fire is in middle position and then quickly freeze the second one too, so you will shape a staircase. Climb on them and run to the next area. Now the final area has two Fire Waves breathing fire right infront of you. When the fire is long enough, freeze both of them, watch out for the spikes and jump to the flag! 006 You versus 2 Sniper Joes! You have very low health too. You begin by fall- ing onto a pillar in the middle of the screen and you will see a Sniper Joe on both the left and right side of you. You need to focus on one of them and keep shooting Ice Slashers on him when he doesn't guard himself, while you also avoid the bullets from the Sniper Joe behind you as well. Begin by patiently waiting for one of them to drop their guard, quickly freeze him and then jump over the other Sniper Joe's bullets with precision and make sure that you shoot some more Ice Slashers at the first Sniper Joe while you jump. With a bit of skillful jumps and shooting, he'll eventually blow up. Now you can turn around and wait until the last Sniper Joe start shooting, and when he does, freeze and shoot him with all your might, mash that attack button like crazy and he'll go down quickly! 007 You have very low health and you need to use Manbu's and Suzys as ice plat- forms to cross large pits. For starters, run to the right and get close to the first pit, keep running and shoot the first Suzy from the ground (not jumping or anything). While you're jumping onto the Suzy, freeze the Manbu that comes close to you while you're on the air. You will land on the Suzy and then you can quickly jump on the Manbu you just froze. Climb on the ledge to the right and then wait next to a pit for a Manbu, and freeze him to create a bridge over the pit. Walk to the right and jump down close to the next pit and you will spot 2 Suzys. Freeze the bottom one either by falling from the ledge you came from, or do a small jump and shoot and quickly make a huge leap onto this fro- zen Suzy while you freeze the next one infront of you. If you do things right, you'll create a staircase and can jump to the next obstacle. Now you're in front of a spikebed and 2 Suzys are flying up and down at the same spot. You need to freeze one of them and keep him frozen while you wait for the other one to the right to fly downwards, so you can freeze him and create a staircase. Run onto the first frozen Suzy and from that spot, freeze the second one and run on him and jump to the ledge infront of you by jumping from the very edge of the Suzy you just froze. With enough precision, you'll make it across, othe- rwise, you'll fall on the spikes. There are now 3 Suzys blocking your way, so you should just freeze them and go past them. Now you will see another Suzy that is flying over a pit and flies in the left and right direction and the road he's under is very narrow for you to cross. You must freeze this Suzy while he's at the precise middle part of the pit, and then run and leap across this small Suzy bridge by jumping from the very edge of your platforms, not earlier, or you will definately fall, so to recap: run on the ice block in front of you, jump from as far from this edge as possible to land on the froze Suzy and jump from the far edge of this Suzy as well, and you will get across this horribly constructed bridge of doom. Now all there's left for you to do is to run as fast as you can, and eadh time you see a pit, you should freeze the Suzy that hovers over each pit, freeze it fast and use them as platforms to reach the other side. If you're too late, they will fly away from you, and if they do, you should walk a bit off screen and then return and they will most likely come back and you can try again. After 4 pits filled with Suzy platfo- rms, you will reach the flag! 008 You have low health on this mission and Kamadomas are jumping everywhere. You will need to use the Kamadomas as ice platforms over a lot of pits a bit further ahead. Begin to run to the right without stopping and you will avoid 3 Kamadomas right away. Now when you see the first pit, wait until the Kamadoma on the other side jumps close to you and then freeze him. Jump on him and run over to the other side by jumping. Do the same thing with the next 3 Kamadomas in front of you. Now you will be very high up and 3 Kamadomas are jumping at you from low pillars. Stay where you are and freeze each Kamadoma when they're close to you and keep using them as ice platforms. Now you will see a Kamadoma a bit higher up than you, so wait until he's close to you and freeze him. Jump on him and run to the ice pillar that the Kamadoma stood on before. Now wait for another Kamadoma to get close to you and use him as a ice platform to get up to the ledge infront of you. Now, in this next area, you will see long gray platforms and a bunch of Kamadomas. You're supposed to run past alot of them and use only one or two of them as ice platforms to reach the gray platform high in the sky, where it's safe. Or you can always listen to my suggestion: from the ledge that you start at, freeze the very first Kamadoma to get past him, then proceed over the next couple of platforms and try to trick a Kamadoma to fall down from the gray platform in the sky. Freeze him and run past him, then stand on the platform under the one in the sky and wait for another Kama- doma infront of you. Freeze him when he's close and use him as ice platform to get up to the gray platform, then run all the way to the right and grab the flag! 009 This one is very easy. You begin by falling down to the ground, where there are spikes behind you. When you are on the bottom floor, you will see 3 Suzys in front of you. You just need to kill them to beat this mission. Just stand where you are and keep shooting all of them right where you are. They will go down quickly and the mission is complete! 010 You have very low health on this mission and Killer Bombs are hunting you down viciously! First, run to the right, jump over a Killer Bomb and wait next to a pit. Freeze or destroy the Killer Bomb that comes on the left side behind you so it won't bother you, and then wait for a Killer Bomb that comes on the right side. Freeze it and jump on it to get over the pit safely. Now you will spot another pit, so shoot the first Killer Bomb you see, jump on it and shoot the second one that comes. You build a small staircase so you can safely go over the pit. Now destroy all the Ice and White Blocks infront of you and then wait for a Killer Bomb that flies behind you. Take it all the way to the long pillar infront of you and then freeze the Killer Bomb when its close to the pi- llar. Jump on it to reach the top of the pillar. Now pay attention to the small ledge infront of you. There's a small ice block that you can shoot an Ice Slas- her through. Wait until you see a Killer Bomb flying near the pit infront of you, then freeze and use him as a bridge to get to the other side. Now you will do the same thing with 2 other Killer Bombs that are flying towards you a bit further ahead. Freeze the first one then run on him, freeze the next one and jump on him too, and you will be able to cross the large pit. Run to the right and down to the bottom floor and be ready to attack a whole row of Killer Bombs approaching you. You should keep killing the Killer Bombs in the bottom area and keep running forward. When you get to a ladder, make sure that you destroy the Ice Blocks next to it and wait on the spot where the ladder is. The row of Killer Bombs that were chasing you are flying on the right-side direction now, and 2 of them will fly through the narrow path you just created. Run behind them and when you see a pit, shoot the bottom Killer Bomb first, then jump and hit the top one, so you'll create a staircase over the pit. Now you will see a Ice Block generator and a Killer Bomb flying at the bottom. Freeze the Killer Bomb when it's right under the generator and it will stop making more blocks. Run past the generator and wait next to the second one. Wait for a Killer Bomb to show up and freeze him right under the generator and keep on going. Now wait for the Killer Bomb again and freeze him under the third generator and jump to the flag! ~~~~~ Bombman Challenge Mode ~~~~~ 001: Bomb Container Destroyer 002: Switch Block Mania 003: Angle Throw Panic 004: 1 Minute Crisis 005: Block Obstacle Course 006: Aim, Throw, Destroy 007: Bombing Errors Lead to Doom 008: Count Bomb Explosion 009: Victory or Destruction? 010: Secure a Path 001 This easy mission can be beaten by first throwing some Hyper Bombs upwards on top of the Bomb Blocks to your right. Then you blow up the bottom ones by pressing down and drop bombs close to the Bomb Blocks. Be careful so the Guts Block don't fall on you. When the Guts Block is down, jump on it to reach the flag! 002 This mission requires you to his some red or blue colored switches with the Hyper Bomb to make blocks of the same color appear. Begin this mission by stan- ding where you are and throw a Hyper Bomb to the left so it lands on the conve- yor belt under you. The conveyor belt will take it to the blue switch so it turns red and then the blue wall will dissapear. Now climb up the ladder. Once you're high up on the next room, run a bit to the left without falling and press left and the attack button almost at the same time and you will throw the Hyper Bomb very far and it'll bounce the wall on the left side and then land on the switch below you. This will create a blue bridge, so cross it to the other side and up the ladder. Place a bomb near the next switch and then run past the blue blocks that just dissapeared. Now throw a bomb at the switch again to make the red blocks near the ladder dissapear. Climb the stairs and get ready for a speed test. Stand on the left side of the switch seen close to the ladder you just came up from, press down and quickly drop 2 Hyper Bombs and run as fast as you can to the left. The first Bomb will make the blue blocks dissapear and then the second one deals with the red blocks below the ladder, so with that out the way, get up the ladder. Climb all the way up the ladder and stand on the right edge of the blue block. Hold up and throw a Bomb so it lands next to the switch below. When the explosion effect of the Bomb is almost gone, jump to the red block that is about to show up. You have to make sure that you stand at the very edge of that blue block behind you or you will fall. Now on the red block, stand on the right edge of it as far as possible without falling and then hold down and drop a bomb on the switch. When the bomb blows up and the effect wears off, quickly jump to the blue block infront of you and it will appear. Before climbing up the ladder, stand on the edge of the blue block you are standing on, press up and throw a bomb so it lands next to the switch. Hang on to the ladder and wait for the switch to change colors. Now you may climb up the ladder and get the flag! 003 You have very low health and you need to destroy 25 Screw Drivers with your Hyper Bombs to beat this mission. Begin by destroying the Bomb Blocks in front of you, and throw a long bomb at the first Screw Driver. Jump on the ledge he was standing on and throw some bombs upwards to deal with the next few Screw Drivers. Jump on the third ledge and throw a high bomb at the Screw Driver to your right, get down to where he was and throw a bomb at the Screw Driver behind you. Now climb up to the right and throw some more high bombs at the Screw Driver to your right, climb down carefully and deal with the 2 Screw Drivers behind you. Now walk to the right, jump down to the next area there and throw some bombs down to the Screw Drivers behind you that are placed close to each other. Walk to the right and throw a long bomb at the Screw Driver that is stuck inside a square-shaped platform. Jump on this platform, and throw a long bomb while you make mini-jumps, at the next Screw Driver infront of you. Jump down to the lower levels and throw a long bomb at the next Screw Driver in front of you. Stand on his platform and throw a bomb at the Screw Driver at the bottom-right corner. Proceed a bit further and you will see a Screw Driver stuck between 2 pillars and that can only shoot upwards. Throw a high bomb so it lands on him. Walk to the right some more and throw down a bomb near the Screw Driver stuck between 2 platforms. Stand on the same platform you're on now and throw a bomb a but further ahead so you hit a Screw Driver stuck betw- een 2 pillars. Now walk inside this narrow corridor and meet 3 Screw Drivers. Throw a bomb up, then down and then up again to deal with all 3 of them. Now run to the Bomb Blocks infront of you and go through them. Inside a room, the last Screw Drivers will be seen stuck on the roof, so throw some bombs at them carefully and one by one and you will beat this mission! 004 You have very low health and you will fall down to an arena with Telly's that teleports from the bottom of the screen and approaches you fast. You need to survive against them for one minute! The best way to deal with them is to jump to any of them that are almost at the top, hold down and drop a bomb in front of them. The bombs you drop this way will act as a quick-bursting shield and if you keep dropping bombs infront of you this way, the Telly's won't touch you at all. You still need to move around a bit though, so you can avoid them better. Keep this up until a minute has past and you'll win! 005 This mission requires you to place Hyper Bombs next to red/blue switches that activates blocks with the same colors, and between each switch between colors, you just jump to the next block, or else you'll fall. Remember that before you even decide to make long jumps, jump from the very far edge of a block (as far out as you possibly can without falling) and you will be able to land on the next set of blocks without any problems. When the bomb turns red, the bomb will blow up right away, so make sure that you take note of the bomb colors, because when it does turn red, you must jump to the next set of blocks, or else you will fall. Begin this mission by dropping a bomb behind you so the red wall goes away. Walk to the right and stand on the blue blocks, throw a high-distance bomb so it will land on the switch below, jump to the red blocks, turn around and drop a bomb to the switch, turn around and jump to the next blue blocks to the right, then turn around to the left and throw yet another high-distance bomb at it, and get ready to jump to the right and land on red blocks. From here, jump and throw a regular-distance bomb at the switch to the right, and then when it blows up, jump to the blue blocks above you. Stand on the right edge of the blue blocks and throw a high-distance bomb so it lands on the switch and when it blows up, jump to the red blocks infront of you. Stand on the left edge and drop a bomb on the switch again, then when it blows, jump to the blue blocks to the right. Turn to the left and throw either a high- distance or a regular-distance bomb at the switch to the left, then jump to the red blocks when it activates the switch. Sometimes, the bomb will not activate the switch because it may be too far away from the screen, so if it does, either you're screwed or the blue blocks may still stay put where they are. If so, try throw a bomb again, this time while jumping in air and throw it high up. Anyways, once you reach the red blocks to the right, you will also see blue blocks right above you. You need to throw a high-distance bomb at the switch to the right and when the bomb turns red, jump straight up and when the switch activates, you will (hopefully) land on the now visible blue blocks. If not, then you will fall and you have to redo this mission again. But if you succee- ded, then stand on the right edge of the blue blocks and throw a high-distance bomb so it lands on the switch below, then jump to the red blocks to the right. Now turn left and drop a bomb to the switch under you, then jump to the blue blocks that are seperated from each other. Stand on the right edge of the sec- ond blue block and place 2 bombs on the switch next to you with at least a half second interval between each bomb-droppings. The first bomb will make the red blocks appear, so run up on the top blocks and then the second bomb will acti- vate the blue blocks seen on the right side of the screen, so when the bomb does blow up, run quickly to those blue blocks. Once you're on these blue blo- cks, turn to the left and throw a high distance bomb at the switch behind you and then jump to the red blocks to the right. Now this is the last obstacle, so pay attention. You see that not only are you standing on red blocks, but there is also red blocks blocking your way and more blocks that acts as platforms. To proceed further, you place 2 bombs onto the switch under you, no specific inte- rvals involved here, just drop 2 bombs as quick as you possibly can without any delays inbetween. When the first bomb is about to blow up, jump to the right and the wall and the blocks you stood on will dissapear, but the second bomb will now blow up and make the blocks appear again and if you did things right, you will be standing on the blocks on the other side and the wall is of no bother to you anymore. Jump to the right to pick up the flag! 006 You versus 15 Pepe's. You have low health and have 30 seconds to kill all of them. You begin by falling down onto a Foot Holder and the Pepe's will fly from the right side of the screen. A good way to get rid of them is to throw long-distance Hyper Bombs while you jumping. When jumping, you will get a better aim when you attack them. Don't let any Pepe's fly past you, or you will lose valuable time and you will blow up once time runs out. Keep jumping and throwing long bombs at the Pepe's and you will win! 007 This mission requires you to reach the flag in only 1 minute and 30 seconds and there are alot of Bomb Blocks blocking your way. The trick here is to place bombs at the right spots very early to get enough time on your hand. To begin, run close to the bomb blocks infront of you and drop a bomb very close to them, then when the 2 blocks at the bottom-left blows, press forward and attack to throw a long-distance bomb between the rest of the blocks. They'll go down easily. Run over to the next bunch of bomb blocks and throw a long-distance bomb through the narrow space inbetween and it'll blow up all of them. Next, run a bit to the right until you see the next 8 bomb blocks and a narrow space right in the middle. Throw a high-distance bomb so it lands between the blocks and they'll all blow up. Run to the right and you will see a lonely bomb block at the top next to a ledge. Throw a high-distance bomb up there and blow up the block. It opens a narrow path there, so throw a long-distance bomb through that path so it lands ontop of the 2 bomb blocks infront of you. You can then cont- inue the mission once the blocks are gone. You will now see a long spikebed, 2 Guts Blocks and a few bomb blocks between them. Throw a long-distance bomb at the lonely bomb block that is between the Guts Blocks and then stand on the 2 bomb blocks infront of you and drop a bomb on them so they blow up and the Guts Blocks falls down. Stand on the right side of the Guts Blocks, jump and throw a regular-distance bomb towards the 2 Guts Blocks you see a bit further ahead. Your bomb needs to fall between them and break the bomb blocks that makes them levitate in the air. When they're gone, you can now walk on the Guts Blocks in front of you. Drop down from the right side of these 2 Guts Blocks and face right. Throw a long-distance bomb so your bomb will land under the 2 bomb blocks that are a bit further ahead and that holds up a single Guts Block. It will fall down and you can go to the next area. Now you will see another Guts Block being held by 2 bomb blocks. Get close to the Guts Block and drop a bomb on its left side, then jump and throw a regular-distance bomb through the narrow path on the Guts Block's right side. With quick precisions, the bomb blocks will break and you can proceed with the mission. Now you see another spikebed and a Guts Block being held by 2 bomb blocks. Stand on the edge of the ground you're standing on, but not too far so you'll fall on the spikes. First, throw a high-distance bomb so the bomb lands next to the first bomb block, then back away a few steps and throw a regular-distance bomb so this bomb lands close to the second bomb block. Both of them will blow up and the Guts Block falls down. Run on it and jump over to the next Guts Block and the final obst- acle comes now. You will see 2 conveyor belts, one under you and one above and a bit further ahead, 2 Guts Blocks are blocking your way. There's also a small pillar shaped like a wall stuck on the roof. The trick here is to throw a long- distance bomb (press left and attack at the same time while jumping), so the bomb will bounce on the wall and then fly through the narrow path seen next to the top conveyor belt, and this bomb will in turn fall between the Guts Blocks and blow up the bomb blocks that holds them up. Just keep trying this until you see your bomb falling between the Guts Blocks, then you may relax and run staright to the flag at the end of this course! 008 You have very low health and you need to kill 8 Kamadomas placed around this spike-course to beat the mission! Begin by jumping on the Time Bomb infront of you and stand on the left edge. 2 Kamadomas are infront of you and when one jumps close, press down and drop a bomb (to act as a shield) and you will kill it. Do the same thing with the second Kamadoma. Before the Time Bomb blows up, jump to the next one and let it take you to the right, while you keep an eye out for the 2 Kamadomas above you. Jump to the third Time Bomb, make a small jump and throw a high-distance bomb at the Kamadomas in the top-left corner. The explosion effect will hopefully deal with them, otherwise, throw another bomb when either of them falls down to you. Jump to the next Time Bomb and then right away, jump to the next Time Bomb that is very high up on some spikes. A Kamadoma is jumping around right under you. Stand on the right edge of the Time Bomb you're standing on, and then turn to the left and throw a Hyper Bomb before the Kamadoma gets to you. You should have 3 Kamadomas left to kill. To the right, there will be a Kamadoma stuck inside a box-shaped platform. Stand on the Time Bomb close to it and let it walk one step or two, then throw a long -distance bomb through the narrow path inside where the Kamadoma is and the bomb will blow the Kamadoma up. Quickly jump up the platform and ride the Time Bomb over to the next Time Bomb. Once this particular Time Bomb falls to the ground and before it starts walking, throw a long distance bomb inside the narrow path between some bomb blocks and you will destroy yet another Kamadoma, and your Time Bomb will now be able to walk to the right. Use it to reach 2 Time Bombs that doesn't have feet and jump up to 2 long pillars with a Kamadoma between them. Drop a Hyper Bomb on him and the mission is complete! 009 You versus a Screw Driver. You stand on 2 blue blocks and The Screw Driver is stuck between 4 Blue Switches. You just need to throw high bombs and make sure it falls down on him and you win! If the bomb doesn't fall on him, the bomb will trigger the switches and you'll fall. 010 You have very low health and you need to kill 20 Suzys to beat this mission! The majority of the course is covered with spikes and white blocks that breaks if you accidently place a bomb close to them. To beat this mission, you need to throw bombs at the Suzys from a distance, or drop it at them when you need to jump to another block than the one you're standing on. Some of the blocks can be sacrificed, since you don't really need to run back to the start of the course again unless you missed some Suzys on your trip, so stand on a block over a Suzy, drop a bomb on it, and when it blows up the Suzy and the block you're standing on, jump to the next one and repeat this process slowly and steadily. The first area has 4 Suzys inside a narrow corridor and all you need to do is throw bombs at them all without any problems. Now run to the white block platforms to the right and you will see the area filled with spikes. Look for a Suzy above you that flies from the right side to the left. Throw a bomb at him and run to the right, up on a block. Stand on the right edge of it and wait for a Suzy infront of you to fly close to the block, then drop a bomb on it and jump to the next block to the right, turn around and hit the next Suzy that's on the bottom-left corner. Climb up the block structure to the right and on the other side, wait for a Suzy to fly to the left, drop a bomb on it and jump to the next block on the right side of the screen. Now you will see 2 Suzys next to each other between 2 blocks. Wait until both of them are on the right side, then drop a bomb down to the spike area under them. The bomb will hit the bottom Suzy. Now when you're ready, drop a bomb on the top Suzy and then jump to the next block. Stand on the edge of this block too, drop a bomb on the Suzy and jump to the block a bit higher up. Wait until the next Suzy is close to you, blow it up and jump down safely to the block under you. Now jump to the right and down again to another block, where a Suzy flies up and down between a block and a spike. When it flies upwards, blow it up, then jump all the way to the right side of the screen and you will see a few blocks blocking the road. What you need to do here is to let a Suzy in the upper areas to fly close to the blocks, then you aim a bomb at it so the bomb blows up the Suzy and the blocks so you can proceed. If you fail, you have to redo everythi- ng, but if you succeed, turn around and drop a bomb at the Suzy on the bottom- left side of the screen, then jump to the right and wait on the block up there now until a Suzy flies to the right, then drop down to the block under you and throw a regular distance bomb at the Suzy to blow it up, including a block that is blocking the road. Now stand on the edge of the current block and jump to the next block. You should now have 4 Suzys left to blow up. There is one on the right side, so lure it so it flies to the left, jump over it and when it's on the left side of the screen, throw a bomb at it. Then run to the right and jump on the 2 white blocks sticking up high in the sky, turn around and drop a bomb on the Suzy under you and then quickly jump to the right side of the screen, otherwise the blocks under you will blow up along with the Suzy. Now you will appear on a area with 5 white blocks stacked on each other. Run to the middle one, stand there and place a bomb on either one of the blocks on your left or right side (don't place the bomb next to them, but place it right on top of the blocks). The block will blow up and you can now wait for the Suzy under you to start flying up, so make sure that you throw or drop a bomb on it while your jumping and it'll blow up and no other blocks will be blown up in the process. Do the same thing with the Suzy behind you and you're done! ~~~~~ Fireman Challenge Mode ~~~~~ 001: Keep the Home Fires Burning 002: Gauntlet Runner 003: Don't Melt the Snow 004: Going is easy, returning is scary 005: Defeat Picket Men with fire 006: First one wins! 007: Cornered! 008: Walking on Air 009: Defeat Shield Cannons with fire 010: Methodical Gauntlet 001 Melt the snow blocks infront of you, climb up on the Water Tower and then let the Fire Tower on the right side of the screen give you your fire power back. Walk on the snow blocks next to you and get the flag! 002 Melt the snow blocks infront of you and keep walking to the right. You will reach a pit with a long row of snow blocks are placed. Run on them and don't stop. Keep running and jumping and you will reach the flag at the end of the road! 003 Wait until the Flip Platform is close to you and then ride it to a snow block. Don't stand on the block. Keep jumping so it won't melt down and wait for the next Flip Platform to arrive. Ride it and jump on the snow block plat- form a bit further ahead and keep jumping so they won't melt, follow the Flip Platform to the right and when it's in stationary position again, jump on it and then jump to the ledge to the right and the flag is within reach! 004 You will fall down to the next floor and the Water Towers you saw at the start of the mission will turn off your fire powers. Walk to the right and keep jumping and running on snow blocks and Water Towers until you reach a Fire Tower. Let it give you fire and then walk to the left again. Make sure that you keep jumping when you're crossing the snow blocks and don't let the Water Towers touch you. Wait until the Water Towers don't spray water and then walk past them. Walk past all 3 Water Towers, then melt the snow blocks that guards the flag and it's yours! 005 You versus 2 Picketman's. You also have very low health. You will fall down on Water Towers that takes away your fire power (except the Fire Ring Ability that surrounds you everytime you press the attack button) and you will land on a Flip Platform. What you need to do is to avoid both the Picketman's axes and then you must jump next to them (either on the left and right side of them) and use the Fire Ring ability on them at least 4 times each. Keep running around the Flip Platform to avoid the axes and when you see an opening, jump and burn them enough times and you'll end up victorious! 006 You begin the mission with very low health. You must run through the Water Tower infront of you and land on the Flip Platform. Stand on the front edge of the platform and wait until you're close to 3 Screw Drivers stuck on pillars above you and use your Fire Ring ability at them before they shoot you (you must be brave enough to jump to them and attack them, or else you'll die). Keep doing this to all 3 Screw Drivers above you and then stand still on the Flip Platform. 3 Screw Drivers on ground level will approach you too, so when the Flip Platform has taken you close to them, just press the attack button to kill them and then jump over their block to be able to stay put on the Flip Platf- orm. Keep doing this to the rest of the Screw Drivers and you will later spot another Screw Driver stuck to a pillar above you. Do the same thing you did before and you will eventually reach a Water Tower. Jump on it, so the Flip Platform won't flip you down the pit and wait for it to return to stationary position, then jump on it again. Now you will spot 3 more Screw Drivers stuck on pillars above you, so deal with them the same way you did before. You will also see 3 more Screw Drivers on ground level, so use the Fire Ring ability on them too, just like before. You will now reach a Fire Tower that gives you your fire powers back. So what do you need this for, you ask? Well, you need them against the Pepe's that keeps flying directly at you from the right direction. Keep button-mashing that attack button to deal with all of them, and make sure you jump a bit while you shoot so you hit Pepe's that are flying a bit above you. You will soon reach some snow blocks that acts like staircases, so you need to jump up on them (and don't stop jumping or they'll melt), while you chase the Flip Platform. Keep taking the upper path and wait until the Flip Platform is in stationary position again, then jump on it again. You will now see some Blasters, but you can ignore the top one if you want. Focus on the bottom one or jump up to the ledge above it. Walk to the right and melt the snow blocks infront of you so you will land on the Flip Platform again and saf- ely approach 2 Water Towers. When the Water Towers are spraying water high enough, jump to the next one. Keep jumping on the Water Towers and you will reach the flag at the end of the road! 007 You have very low health and there will be some snow blocks blocking the road to the flag. On top of things, a Killer Bomb will fly from a small hole in the walls of each room and make your life a misery. Begin by walking to the right and wait until the Killer Bomb rams to the snow block to the right and dissapears, then jump down on the snow block to melt it and wait where you are. When another Killer Bomb pops up, jump over it, then slowly follow its trail to the left and you will melt the second snow block in the process. When the Kil- ler Bomb is not infront of you anymore, hurry to the ladder under you. On the next screen, do the same thing you did before, walk to the right, wait until the Killer Bomb blows himself and then jump down on the snow block. Jump over the new Killer Bomb that shows up and follow it carefully so you don't die in the process, and melt some snow blocks while you're at it. Now hurry and climb down the ladder. In this next area, wait until the Killer Bomb flies by and then melt at least 3 snow blocks and stand where they were. Let another Killer Bomb show up and jump over it and when it's gone, melt some more snow blocks, then return to a open spot again and wait for another Killer Bomb to show up, then jump over it and then take care of the last snow blocks and go down the ladder. A safe spot for you in the next area is the Fire Tower on the right side of the screen, so whenever a Killer Bomb flies by, stand where the Fire Tower is and jump over the Killer Bomb. To melt the snow blocks behind the Water Tower on the left side, wait until the Water Tower doesn't spray water anymore, then melt one snow block and return safely to the Fire Tower to gain fire powers again. Then repeat this process to melt the second snow block and then go down the ladder before the Killer Bomb gets to you. Go down the ladder gently and wait until a Killer Bomb has flewn by you, then run (and jump) on the conveyor belts and stay at the spot where the Fire Tower is above you, then when a Killer Bomb comes close, jump over it, then run (and jump) to the snow block infront of you to melt it, then run back to the Fire Tower area again and wait for a Killer Bomb to show up. Jump over it and then hurry up and run (and jump) to the ladder and you will see the flag behind some snow blocks, so melt those and you're done! 008 You need to collect 10 Score Balls on this mission to beat it! The Score Balls are spread out on the course and there are spikes everywhere. The only type of platforms you have are snow blocks and you need to walk on them fast and pick up the Score Balls or you will fall on the spikes. You begin the mis- sion by falling down. On the second screen, jump to the left and pick up Score Ball #1, fall down to the third screen and jump to the right to get Score Ball #2, then run to the right to fall down to the fourth screen. Jump to the left, melt the first 2 snow blocks in the middle of the screen and then jump to the left to pick up Score Ball #3. Fall down to the next screen and when you land on snow blocks, jump to the right and keep jumping in that direction until you reach Score Ball #4, then fall down to the next screen. Melt the snow blocks under you and then run on the narrow path to your left and at the end of it, jump to pick up the fifth Score Ball #5. Fall down once again and then jump to the right to pick up Score Ball #6 and then keep running and jumping to the right. Jump up the snow blocks that are shaped like a staircase and jump very high and long to reach Score Ball #7 at the end of this screen and then fall down to the next screen. When you fall down, run to the right to pick up Score Ball #8, then jump up to the Water Tower and then pick up Score Ball #9 that is right next to the Fire Tower and keep running to the right, over the last bit of snow blocks and the last Score Ball is yours. 009 You versus 2 Houdains. You also have very low health and when you fall down to the battlearena, the Water Towers on the first screen takes your fire power away, so you have to depend on the Fire Ring ability to hurt them. The Houdains are placed on Ice Blocks, which in turn is placed on Flip Platforms. You are standing on a lonely flat pillar and you need to avoid both the Houdains canno- nball attacks. Walk around to the left and right and when you see an opening, jump to them and use the Fire Ring while their hatches are still open. With lots of patience and not getting hit by their cannonballs, you'll make it! 010 You have very low health and the enemies you face are Killer Bombs and Su- zys. The only platforms you depend on here are snow blocks hovering over a very huge endless pit. You need to keep running without stopping too much and jump over enemies that you see infront of you if you want to survive! It's important that when you jump, you should do that at the very edge of the snow blocks, and not earlier. That way, you will gain a bit more distance! First, you'll have to jump over 2 Killer Bombs, then 2 more Killer Bombs. Run a bit more and get ready to jump over 2 Suzys. After them, you jump on single snow blocks, while jumping over 2 Killer Bombs, one after the other, and then you have to climb up a staircase-shaped snow block structure. When at the top of it, jump down to the right to avoid the Killer Bomb that just flew past you, then you need to make a small jump to jump between the Suzys infront of you, one being above you and one that's at your ground level. Jump over that Suzy to make it, but not too high and not too low either. Keep running and jump over another Killer Bomb and run past the second one flying above you. Now you should jump between the second set of Suzys aligned above and at the same ground level as you, just like before. Not jump too high or too low. The snow block road will go slightly up, and when you jump on the single block that's a bit higher up, jump very high and long to jump over the 2 Suzys that flies right at you and they will miss you. Keep running forward and jump over the Killer Bomb infront of you and run past the one above you. Then you jump over the 2 Suzys that are a bit furt- her ahead and you will see yet another staircase-shaped snow block structure. Climb up on it all the way up, while avoiding Killer Bomb infront of you, and at the very top of this staircase, jump over the Killer Bomb at the very top (if you're fast enough, that is). Land on the snow blocks on the right side of the screen, keep running and jump over 2 Suzys flying to you, one after the other, then climb up a small staircase and jump over 2 more Suzys, fall down to some snow blocks at the bottom and jump over the third Suzy there. Keep jumping on the snow blocks infront of you and make sure you spot the space between the Killer Bombs flying towards you, and jump through that space. Land on a safe snow block spot, then climb up a small staircase, jump over the last 2 Suzys of this mission and jump carefully to reach the flag! ~~~~~ Elecman Challenge Mode ~~~~~ 001: Fun With Elec Blocks 002: More Fun With Elec Blocks 003: Even More Fun with Elec Blocks 004: Tiptoe on Elec Blocks 005: Killer Bullet Assault 006: Clever Elec Block Crosser 007: Cool Elec Block Climber 008: Watch out for Elec Blocks 009: Brave the Elec Block Gauntlet 010: Don't Lose Elec Blocks 001 Use the Thunder Beam on the Elec Block infront you when you're close to it and then jump on it and then jump to the flag to beat this mission! 002 Shoot the Elec Block infront of you, so you can jump past it, then walk to the right and shoot the next Elec Block to lower it down, so you can jump and climb up to the next area. You will see a pit and a Elec Block on the other side. Shoot it so it flies to you, then ride it to the other side when it flies back to the right side. Now you will see 3 Elec Blocks next to each other on the roof. Shoot all of them together with one Thunder Beam and they will go down, so you have to run on them to cross to the other side and climb up the ladder. In the next screen, run to the middle of the room where there's an ope- ning above you. Shoot the Elec Block infront of you and jump over it when it gets close to you and then climb up the ladder that was behind it. Climb all the way up the ladder and stand on the Elec Block next to it. Face the right direction and use the Thunder Beam to make it move forward, and you should also keep shooting the Elec Blocks infront of you to be able to proceed further with the Elec Block you stand on. If your Elec Block stops somewhere, keep beaming the Elec Blocks infront of you and they'll go down, plus that your attack beams will hit your Elec Block as well, so you will keep going forward if you keep using the Thunder Beam all the time. You will eventually reach the flag at the end of this screen, so jump to touch it! 003 Climb up the ladder to the right all the way up, then shoot a Thunder Beam at the Elec Block on the left side, jump on it and ride it to the other side and climb up the ladder seen on the left side. On the next screen, to cross this obstacle, begin by shooting the bottom Elec Block first, quickly climb up the ladder and when the Block is on the left side of the small pit infront of you, shoot the the top Elec Block and start falling on the bottom Elec Block. The top one will fly past you fast and you can then jump past it and go up the ladders. Climb up all the way up the ladder and walk close to the Elec Blocks on your left side. Shoot both of them and make sure you fall down on the Elec Block that goes down. If the top one suddenly stops, shoot it again to make it fly to the right again, and then you can jump to the ladder to the left. On the next screen, stand on the Elec Block closest to you and face the left direction then shoot both of them and jump down to the left ladder again and wait there. When both the blocks returns, make sure you jump infront of the top block all the time, so it keeps staying where it is, while the bottom one goes all the way back again. When you're ready, stand on the bottom block and shoot it, so it takes you to the other side. If you did this right, the top one won't follow you, and you can easily climb up the ladder now. On the next screen, stand on the edge of the ladder without falling down the spikes, then shoot the Elec Block on the other side. When it gets blocked by the spikeball that sticks up, jump to the Elec Block and you can get to the ladder now. Climb up the ladder to reach the last obstacle. Stand on the last Elec Block here and use a Thunder Beam on it. Ride it all the way to the ladder without touching the spikes on the right wall, and you will reach the flag! 004 Jump up on the Elec Block infront of you and shoot it to get to the other side. Don't stand to close to the spikes there. Let the Elec Block fly back, so you can stand on the 2 other Elec Blocks under you. Face the left direction, jump straight up in the air and shoot both the Elec Blocks. The top one will fly to the left and the bottom one that you (hopefully) land on will take you in the right direction. When it stops, jump to the next Elec Block, but don't shoot it at all. Stand on the right edge of it and shoot the Elec Block in front of you. It will fly towards you, but don't ride it yet. Let it fly to the left first, and make sure that you also stand on the left side of the Elec Block you're still standing on, so you won't lose track of the Elec Block you just shot. When that block returns, then you're allowed to ride it to the right. While standing on this block, jump on the next block infront of you and shoot it to travel to the right, then when you see another Block under you, jump down to it and shoot it so you can fly even further to the right. You will see 3 Blocks infront of you aligned ontop of each other. Shoot the middle one and jump on the bottom one. Shoot the top and bottom one now so they will fly to the right, and make sure the middle block is still on the right side of the screen, otherwise stand on the right edge of the bottom Block you're standing on and when all 3 blocks returns to the spot they came from, the middle one will not go all the way in, because you're blocking its way. This way, you can relax a bit first and then shoot all 3 again until all of them are properly flying to the other side. When all the blocks are stuck where they are, they will form a staircase. Climb this staircase and get up on 3 more Elec Blocks seen right next to some spikes. Stand on the top one and use the Thunder Beam so you hit all 3 of them. The top one will stop infront of spikes, but before that happens, make sure you land on the bottom Elec Block, or else you'll fall. Once you manage to land on the bottom Block, keep riding it to the right, and then run to the next one and stand on the right edge of it, so the block that is stuck to some spikes won't fly to the left again. This is yet another good resting point. Whenever you're ready, shoot the block you're standing on, jump on the one infront of you, jump over the spikes and land on the bottom Block safely. Ride it to the right and use the Thunder Beam to shoot down 3 Elec Blocks infront of you to lift them up to spikes on the roof and you will safely get past them. The last obstacle has a Elec Block that flies to the left if you shoot it. Quickly shoot it and jump on it, then before it flies too much to the left, jump up to the ledge where the flag is! 005 You stand on conveyor belts pushing you to the middle of the screen at all costs and there are Killer Bombs flying above you. Also, some Yoku Blocks are blocking your attacks, so you won't be able to easily kill them. You need to blow up 8 Killer Bombs to beat this mission amd you have 30 seconds to live. The trick here is to remember the pattern the Yoku Blocks dissapear, and then shoot early at the Killer Bombs when the Yoku Blocks are gone. It's all about luck and a well-planned pattern to win this one! 006 You will see 3 ElecBlocks in front of you and one in the bottom corner. Run to the middle block of the 3 blocks, face the left direction and shoot the block under you and the one to your left. Run under the left one when it flies up and wait until all the blocks are put back to their places again. Face the right direction and shoot both the block above you and one to the right. When the top one flies up and the one on the right comes close to you, jump over it and run past it to get to the next area. On the 3 Block segment here, jump close and shoot all 3 of them. The bottom and top one will fly left and the middle one will stay still, but if you keep shooting it and the top one, the middle one will go down and you can now climb it up like a staircase. On the next block setup, stand between the 2 first blocks and shoot them. The middle one will go slightly up, because you're in the way, but stand on the first block and keep shooting it and middle one and the middle one will fly all the way up and left block will fly to the right, leaving an opening for you to fall down in. Now shoot the right block so it flies up and run past this segment. On the next area, stay close to the 3 Blocks here and keep shooting all of them. The middle one will fly to the left, top one flies to the right and if you keep shooting after all this is happening, the bottom one will fly up to the top block and creates a road for you to cross. The next block setup has 5 blocks. Shoot the 2 first ones in front of you and fall down to the bottom area, shoot the block in front of you, then run back just a bit, jump and shoot the blocks in the middle and top areas, so the middle block flies to the left and while the block flies to the left, keep shooting all the other blocks so they keep staying where they are and then run through the new road you just created. Now there are 3 blocks. Shoot the middle block so it flies up, run forward and shoot the next one in front of you so it goes down, then stand on it and wait for a while until all blocks are flying back to their previous locations, then shoot the one above you so it flies to the left and you will create yet another road. Now you see a long row of 4 ElecBlocks in front of you. Shoot all of them and keep shooting, so the first 3 blocks are going up and down, and the last one comes flying at you. Don't worry if any of the 3 blocks that flew up or down goes back again and they block the fourth block. Just keep shooting the blocks and the blocks that are in the way will go down or up again and the fourth block will keep coming closer to you. When it's very close to you with nothing blocking its way, jump over it, make sure to keep shooting the 3 blocks so they don't go anywhere and run past them to reach the flag! 007 This mission requires you to destroy 45 Kusudamas spread all across this course. Begin by jumping on the Elec Block behind you, stand at the right edge of it and shoot it to fly to the right. Now, everytime you see a purple colored helicopter-ball flying on the screen, that's a Kusudama and those are your targets. The first 6 is right in front of you, so shoot them with the Thunder Beam. Fly a bit further in this course and you will spot Kusudamas above and below you. Use the Thunder Beam's upward and downward attack to hit both of them with precision. Keep shooting them right when they're above and under you and shoot them at that precise moment and you will never miss. When you have about 22 Kusudamas left to hit, you will reach a white corridor and at specified points, there will be Kusudamas both above and under you, so do like you did before and shoot both of them with your Thunder Beam attack. Make sure you do that quite early, or the effect of your Thunder Beam may hit the roof and ground of the white corridor instead, so you will miss te Kusudamas. If that does happen, you have to redo this mission again. On the good side though, when you reach these Kusudamas, the game will slow down just slightly because of too many objects on screen, so that will give you plenty of time to hit all the Kusudamas in this corridor. When you leave the corridor, you'll have 14 Kusudamas left. Shoot some in front of you and wait until you see a platform with a conveyor belt on it. Run on it and it'll give you a head boost away from the Elec Block, because you will need to run ahead of it and shoot some Kusudamas that are in the way for it, or else it'll stop and you'll have to retry this mission. Keep running (shooting 4 Kusudamas that are in front of you in the process) and when you see a Kusudama flying under a pit, keep running and jump, and then shoot with the Thunder Beam so the downward attack hits it. Do the same thing with the 2 other Kusudamas and the Elec Block will keep following you. At the end part of this platform, jump on the Elec Block safely and then shoot the last 4 Kusudamas to beat this mission! 008 You have low health and need to kill 15 Telly's to beat this mission. You begin by falling either on the left or right side of the current screen and then you will land on a battlefield with 5 Elec Blocks at the bottom, and 2 Telly's keeps flying towards you. The best way to deal with them is to stand on the far left or far right side of the screen, wait for the Telly's to align themselves in a long row, jump and shoot them, while you run to the other side and the Elec Block you stood on won't push you onto the spikes. Keep doing this, running back and forth, killing these Telly's with this method and you'll easily beat this mission! 009 You have very low health and you need to run on a whole row of Elec Blocks while attacking Shield Attackers when they turn their back at you, but if you try to use Thunder Beam, it will shoot the Elec Blocks under you and you will be pushed at the spikes above you. There are some safespots placed on the course that lets you use the Thunder Beam without activating the Elec Blocks under you. These safespots are gray pillars/platforms that are usually seen only at some spots, usually between 2 Elec Blocks or close to a Shield Attacker To begin, when you teleport, wait until the Shield Attacker comes to you and then turns to the right, then follow it and stand on the first safespot and shoot 2 Thunder Beams at him then run back, or he'll hit you if you stand still too much. Repeat this until he's down (but if you're fast enough, you could actually kill this Shield Attacker with 3 Thunder Beams on the first chase if you got close to him early). Now wait on the safespot and when the second Shield Attacker turns his back at you, stab him with the Thunder Beam, and to that 3 times in total and he'll go down easily. You should now walk a bit to the right and wait for the third Shield Attacker to turn around and fly to the right, then follow him and run to the second safespot, use one Thunder Beam attack on his back then run to the left so he won't hit you when he flies back. When he stops, wait til he turns around and repeat this process until he's killed. To the right of the safespot, there's another Shield Attacker and a bit of open space above you where there's no spike. Wait until the Shield Attacker flies to the right and then run to this open space area and shoot a Thunder Beam at the Shield Attacker. The beams will hit the Elec Blocks under you, but you will not hit the spikes if you standed on them correctly. When the Elec Blocks lowers themselves and the Shield Attacker gets close to you, jump over him and then shoot him in the back when he's on the left side. With him killed, proceed carefully to the right, close to a Elec Block that has its gray cone faced upwards. Shoot it so it flies up, then run to the new safespot on the right side of it. Stand there and shoot a Thunder Beam on the next Elec Block facing upwards (do not hit the Blocks on the ground), then run to the gray platform it stood on, jump and shoot the next Elec Block that's facing upwards and that's standing on a gray platform and run to it and stay there. From this spot, you should wait for a Shield Attacker that comes to you and when it turns around, shoot it in the back 3 times to kill it (one shot at a time everytime he returns to you). Make sure that the Elec Block above you stays up there by jumping, since it will stay there if you do and it will not be able to squash you. You can also stand on the left edge of the ground Elec Block in front of you, while having the ElecBlock above you stuck on your head. That way, everytime you use the Thunder Beam, you won't get hit by the spikes and the Shield Attacker won't touch you. When the Shield Attacker is killed, run to the right and run to the gray/yellow safespot and shoot a Thunder Beam right at the Block in front of you, and when it goes up, hurry and jump over to the other side and keep walking right without jumping once you crossed that put. You will stand in front of 2 Elec Blocks that are one tile higher up than you and a Shield Attacker is right above you. Before using a Thunder Beam, make sure that you're so close to the Blocks in front of you that you won't get hit by the spikes above you, then keep button-mash that attack button at the Shield Attacker until he's dead and when he's gone, make sure that all blocks falls down slowly to their old positions again, then walk to the right, next to a pit and make a semi-low jump (not hitting the spikes above) and land on the Elec Block road to the right, otherwise you'll fall and have to redo the mission again. When you succeed, run to the right until you reach a spikewall and a couple of Elec Blocks above you. Face the left direction and shoot the Block under you to fly up and land on the Elec Block to your right, then use the attack again while jumping to lower the Block under you and when you land on the Block again, shoot yet another one at the Block right in front of you under the spikes on the roof without hitting the block on ground level next to you, because you're gonna jump to that one now. The Blocks on the upper area will go down and you will have plenty of space to hit the third Block that's stuck to the spikes on the roof. Stand on the right edge of the Block you're currently on, jump and hit the Block at the upper area and then run past it when it's down. Now you will see a long row of Blocks infront of you pointing to the left and there's an open space above you. Stay on the Block that is on the left side of this open space (close to the spikewall up on the left side, but do not touch the spikes), then turn right and shoot a Thunder Beam. The block under you won't fly all the way up, but one next to it will, and the blocks infront of you will go to the left just a bit, then fly back again. Now stand on the right edge of the block you're standing on and shoot the 3 Blocks infront of you again. As long as there are no blocks in the way (like the one under you), the 3 blocks to the right will now fly all the way to the left, so jump over all 3 of them and you can now run through the new path to the right. Keep running to the right and you will now only see Elec Blocks on ground level. Pick any one of them and shoot them to reach the flag! 010 You have very low health and need to destroy 20 Bunby Heli's that are fly- ing from the right side of the screen. Make sure that you don't walk too much to the right, because you need to attract the Bunby Heli's close to you, then jump very high and shoot them. You should go slow on this course and focus on one Bunby Heli at a time, jump and strike them. If any of the Elec Blocks to the right flies away from you, just run back a screen or two, then run back to the same spot and the Elec Blocks will return, so shoot a Bunby Heli, then run back a few steps if you hit some Elec Blocks too, then run back again where the Bunby Heli was and you can now continue safely. Repeat this process and you will definately get them all! ~~~~~ Timeman Challenge Mode ~~~~~ 001: Master Time Slow 002: Master Time Slow 2 003: Move the Pendelum 004: Watch Your Step 005: Time Limit Panic 006: Container Crossing 007: Watch out for Explosions 008: No time to Lose 009: Don't lose track of Octo Battery (Suzy) 010: Countdown 001 Charge up your Time Slow and wait until the generator drops a Time Block to you, then use your attack. The Time Block will fall down slowly and when it's above your ground level, run on it and touch the flag on the other side! 002 You need to pick up 6 Score Balls on this mission. Charge up your Time Slow and run on the conveyor belt. When it's completely charged, use your attack and the conveyor belt will slow down, so run (don't jump) to Score Ball #1 and climb the ladder up. Charge up another Time Slow and then use it on the Fire Towers. When the Fire Towers has lowered their fire, run to the left to pick up Score Ball #2 and climb up the ladder. Run to the right while charging a Time Slow and wait for the Killer Bomb to fly past you. Use the Time Slow, climb up and run to the left and shoot the Killer Bomb that comes at you with your spear attack. Pick up Score Ball #3 and climb up the ladder. On the next screen, wait until the Time Slow effect has worn off, then charge another one up and use it. Quickly jump on each Time Bomb and pick up Score Ball #4, then quickly cross the Time Bombs again without them blowing up and climb the ladder up to the next area. On this screen, stand close to the Time Blocks being gene- rated and charge up a Time Slow and use it. Shoot the 2 bottom blocks in front of you and then run to the right, climb the small ladder and wait until more Time Blocks are generated. Shoot the top blocks with at least one shot and then run to the left to pick up Score Ball #5. Climb up the ladder and pick up Score Ball #6 and you're done! 003 You will fall down on a Hammer Pendulum and you need to keep jumping to each one to the right to eventually reach the flag. Once you stand on this first pendulum, shoot a spear on it and it will start swing to the left and right. When it's on the right side, jump to the next pendulum and stand on the third pendulum. Shoot it so it swings around and jump to the fourth pendulum in front of you and shoot it so it swings, then jump to the fifth pendulum in the bottom-right corner. Shoot it and then jump to the next pendulum in front of you, and then jump to the next one that's probably swinging because you shot it from a long distance. If it doesn't swing, you should still jump on it and shoot it so it does swing around. Now jump to the Time Bombs infront of you and run to the next pendulum. If you know how to jump very far from the edge of a platform, you don't need to make this pendulum swing around, but if you're unsecure, shoot it anyways and then jump on the last Time Bombs on the right side of the screen. Once there, quickly make a small jump and shoot the last pendulum seen on the right side of the screen so it starts to swing, run to the right edge of the Time Bombs and when you see the pendulum swinging to the right, but is about to head in your direction (not earlier or later), jump to it and you will hopefully land on it, otherwise you'll fall. Once you stand on this pendulum (preferably right on the middle of it), shoot it alot until it swings really, really hard to the left and right, and when it's on the right side, jump with all your might to the flag seen right next to you, or else you will fall! 004 You have very low health and you need to shoot down 10 Manbu's to beat this mission! You fall down to the battlearena which consists with a huge bed of spikes and one Time Block as platform, and the Manbu's are flying from the right. The best way to take them out is to stand on the right edge of the Time Block and when the Manbu's are seen right under your time marker on the top- right corner, make a small jump and shoot. The 2 spears you throw will hit both the Manbu's when they open their shell up. So if you're following this strat- egy, you need to time these attacks, or the timing will go a bit off and you have to keep the Manbu's at bay when they get closer to you. 005 You have low health and 30 seconds to reach the flag! This course is filled with Elec Waves on almost every spot possible, mostly next to each other, but they always shoot electricity in a set pattern, so you can still run past all of them if you use the Time Slow correctly. Everytime you get the chance (at the moment the Time Slow gets fully charged up), use the Time Slow right away and never stop using it, and make good use of the conveyor belts you spot during the road, and you will have alot of time left to beat this mission. Begin by charging up a Time Slow and stand close to the first bunch of Elec Waves. Use the Time Slow and when the first Elec Wave stops beaming, walk on it and run onto the other ones in succession, since they will unbeam themselves as well. Now don't stop running just because you got past the first obstacle. Keep running down to a area filled with Elec Waves and a ladder on the other side. They won't beam up for a long time, so make sure that you run to the ladder while having a Time Slow ready. Once you're all the way up the ladder, the slow effect may wear off, so use the Time Slow again and keep another one charged up. A staircase of Elec Waves are right under you, so use the Time Slow, and wait until the first one stops beaming, then go down this staircase safely while the rest of the Elec Waves are not beaming anything. Keep running and you will see a staircase filled with Elec Waves going up this time. Don't stop running and keep jumping over each of the Elec Waves to survive their slow approaching beams. The slow effect may wear off again now, so use a new Time Slow and keep running. When you run on the conveyor belt infront of you you may spot some Elec Waves right under them. Wait until they stop beaming and then run past them, with the help of Time Slow to slow down their attack. Keep yet another Time Slow ready and jump over some pits when you run forward. After a couple of pits, you will spot a row of Elec Waves placed on pillars. Wait until they stop beaming, use a Time Slow and run past all of them. While everything is slow, keep running over the 2 other pillars filled with Elec Waves without stopping and you will (hopefully) make it. Now go get that flag! 006 Alot of block generators are placed all over this course and you need to use Time Slow next to each of them and then run on the blocks when they slowly fall to be able to cross to the other side. First, use a Time Slow and wait until the first generator drops a Time Block and it has fallen down a bit, then run on it and run to the next generator. Do the same thing here, use a Time Slow and wait until the Time Block has fallen down long enough, then jump on it and run to the right. Now use another Time Slow on the third generator and wait for the block then jump to the ledge on the top-right side of the screen. 2 generators are now standing next to each other. Use a Time Slow and when the first blow shows an opening, run on it and then run on the next block when you see an opening and then jump to solid ground to your right. The next generator spits out Guts Blocks instead and in slow mode, it even falls faster than the Time Blocks. This one requires precise timing on your jumps. Use Time Slow, then wait for it to be created and get ready to make a small leap on it and run to the other side. Now run to the next Guts Block generator and use a Time Slow. When the block is generated, do a small jump so you land on the block, keep running and jump from the edge to reach the ledge on the right side. The next area has 4 generators that spits out Time Blocks. Walk to the left a bit, away from them and use a Time Slow where you are now before you proceed. While the slow effect is still intact, run to the right now and you will see that every block infront of you will fall down more than the blocks on the right, meaning that they'll shape a staircase. This gives you plenty of time and space to cross to the other side. Now you will see more generators with 3 Time Blocks falling and a Guts Block falling from the third generator. Use a early Time Slow like you did before and then run to the generator, jumping on each Block. When the Time Block on the far right side has enough space for you to cross, make sure that the Guts Block is gone, then run on this Time Block mentioned and you will get across without any big problems. Jump to the right and the flag is yours! 007 You have very low health and 6 seconds to beat this mission. And Killer Bombs will fly from the right side of the screen in your direction. Charge up a Time Slow and keep running to the right. At the precise moment the weapon is charged up, use it then keep running forward (without stopping) right to the Killer Bombs. When you're very close to the Killer Bombs infront of you, shoot them with your spear attack (while running), keep running past them without stopping and their suicide explosion effect will miss you completely. Keep running forward to shoot 2 Killer Bombs one after another that flies at you. When you're near the flag, another row of Killer Bombs will fly at you, so shoot the 2 at the bottom when you're close to them and you will destroy them and reach the flag! Remember, do not stop running on this mission, otherwise you will definately fail! 008 You have low health and 30 seconds to pick up 3 Score Balls. There will be conveyor belts, Suzys and a Changkey Maker blocking your way too. Fall down to the left while charging up a Time Slow, then get on the conveyor belt on the next screen and keep jumping to the right so you won't be pushed away. Once the Time Slow is fully charged up, use it and keep jumping forward. You will see a ladder during your trip. Don't go up on it yet. Run on the conveyor belt that will push you to the right fast and use a Time Slow incase the slow effect has worn off, and at the end of this trip, pick up Score Ball #1. Jump back to the ladder you saw before and use yet another Time Slow to slow down the time mar- ker on the top corner of your screen. Go up the ladder and at the top, go to the right and wait next to the Suzys until you have a TIme Slow ready. Use it right when the slow effect wears off again and you should now run to the right and quickly shoot all the Suzys that are in your way (also, make sure that you keep jumping when you walk to the right, so the conveyor belt won't push you to the left). Before the Time Slow effect wears off, you should get to the Chang- key Maker on the other side of the road and mash him full with spears. Now keep walking to the right while using another Time Slow, take the bottom road under you and walk left to pick up Score Ball #2. Keep walking left and jump down to the ladder you climbed up from, and use it to climb up once more. Use another Time Slow in case you need to slow down time again, and at the top of the lad- der, jump on the conveyor belt to your left and it will push you to another conveyor belt (you must jump up to this second conveyor belt yourself) and that will take you to the last Score Ball! 009 You have low health and there's a Suzy on a narrow path under you. You need to keep following it all the way to the other side of this course, or else you have to redo the mission again. Time Slow is very crucial to avoid the obstac- les that you'll get through and to keep the Suzy visiable on your screen. Cha- rge up a Time Slow and run to the right, and the Suzy will now fly to the right so keep following it. When you jump over the first spikebed, use Time Slow and jump over the rest of the spikes. Wait until a Water Tower sprays water and then jump on it to cross the spikes under it. Jump on a pendulum to your right and ride it to the other side. The slow effect should've worn off by now, so use another Time Slow close to the second pendulum infront of you, then jump on it so you will easily cross the spikes. Keep running to the right while having a Time Slow ready and when you reach some conveyor belts, keep jumping to the right and you will be able to cross this area. Check and see if the Suzy is still on the screen. Keep walking to the right and on the next set of conveyor belts, you should not jump too high when you run to the right. Make small jumps and you won't hit the spikes. Use another Time Slow if the slow effect has worn off and keep walking to the right while checking for the Suzy. You will have to jump over some more spikes and after the third pillar, you will see a Fire Tower. Run to the edge of the pillar that's next to the Fire Tower and then jump over the Fire Tower and you will safely jump past it. Do the same thing with the next Fire Tower. Keep walking to the right and you will spot some Time Block generators. Shoot spears at the Blocks to get rid of them, and run past the generators. Keep track of the Suzy now. Run to the right and jump on the Flip Platform that can be seen over some spikes and then go to the right. Shoot the Time Blocks that are blocking the road and keep walking to the right. Use another Time Slow if you need to. The last obstacle consists of 2 pendulums swinging over a spikebed. Make sure the Time Slow effect is still intact and then ride them all the way to the end part of the screen and you will hopefully reach the Suzy and hit him with your spears! 010 You have very low health and you need to pick up 5 Score Balls placed all around this course to beat the mission! The trick to get the balls is to know when to use Time Slow and when to start jumping on the Time Bombs to reach them. Begin by running to the right and climb up on a ladder, face the left direction where you can see some Time Bombs over a spikebed. Jump to the left and before you land on the first Time Bomb, quickly use a Time Slow, then jump on each Time Bomb and you will reach Score Ball #1, then you must jump on the Time Bombs back again before their timer reaches zero. With the slow effect still intact, you'll make it and you can now keep walking to the right and down a ladder to the next area. Now you need to jump on 2 Time Bombs to the right, then climb up to another one a bit higher up and turn left and jump to Score Ball #2. Do this once you used a Time Slow and then jump on each of the Time Bombs mentioned and you will make it to the ball. Now climb up the ladder to the left again and then climb down to this screen again. The Time Bombs will return and you can now use the bottom Time Bombs to cross the pit and over to the next area. The ladder is short this time, so you can't use it as a Time Bomb revival tool anymore, but there's another ladder that handles half that problem on the other side of this area. Use Time Slow and jump on the Time Bombs while you avoid being pushed away by the pendulum above you, then run to the right to reach the ladder mentioned before, go down to the next screen, but then climb up again to bring the Time Bombs under the pendulum back again. On the platform you're standing on, stand on the left edge of it as much as possi- ble, charge up a Time Slow, jump to the Time Bomb on the top-left corner of the screen and use Time Slow once you land on the bomb. Now jump onto the pendulum that swings around and jump off it when it has swung itself to the left side and you will get Score Ball #3, then you must hurry and run on each Time Bomb again and run to the right before they all blow up. Once that horror is over, climb down the ladder on the right side of the screen to reach the final obsta- cle! This time there's 5 Time Bombs, and the one at the bottom-left corner has feets. Jump on it and use Time Slow, then jump on the bomb to your right and onto the next one above you, turn around and jump on the 2 Time Bombs seen floating on air adn pick up Score Ball #4, then quickly jump to the right to chase the walking Time Bomb and land on it. When the time runs out on the bomb, jump to the right to pick up Score Ball #5! ~~~~~ Oilman Challenge Mode ~~~~~ 001: Slide to Victory 002: Slider Jump 003: Oil Floats 004: Watch out for Burning Surfaces 005: Hit enemies with the slider 006: Conveyor Belt madness 007: Run on Water 008: Don't Slow Down 009: No Breaks 010: Keep your speed up 001 You have 10 seconds to get to the flag on the other side of the screen. Shoot a oil patch forward, walk on it and you will perform the Oil Slider. To speed up the Oil Slider, hold the forward direction at all costs. Keep dashing forwards and when you see a ledge, jump on it and 2 more ledges and you will beat this course with ease! 002 You have 12 seconds to get to the flag on the other side of the screen. Shoot a oil patch on the ground below you and get on it, then in Oil Slider form, jump up the ledge infront of you. Keep pressing forward and at the edge of each ledge, jump over every spikebed you see. It's important that you jump as high and far as possible so you can reach each ledge and in that way jump safely over every spikebed. The road will eventually go a bit upwards and then you will see 2 more spikebeds. Jump past both to get to the flag! 003 You will now learn the art of creating oil patches underwater. Shoot a oil patch and it will float up to the surface of the water, so jump onto it to get into Oil Slider mode and make sure you cross the spikes infront of you. Don't go too fast here, because there's some more spikes at the top parts of the screen, so you need to get off your Oil Slider by pressing up and jump button, so you land on the ledge below the spikes. Now, climb up the stairs to get the flag! 004 You versus a Changkey Maker. You also have very low health. First, walk to the left to fall down to the battlearena. The Changkey Maker will be on the right side of the screen and some oil blocks can be seen under you. What you need to do is to trick the Changkeys that the Changkey Maker throws at you, so they land on the oil blocks for distractions, while you jump and attack the Changkey Maker with oil. Begin by running to the left side of the screen and wait for a Changkey to fly at you, then run past it and wait on the third oil block and let another Changkey fly close to you, then run to the left again. Now wait next to the left oil block that is now burning with fire and whenever the Changkey Maker throws another Changkey, jump over it and keep doing this until both the fires from the oil blocks has subsided. Now you can safely run to the Changkey Maker, shoot a bit of oil at him and then run back to the left to avoid some Changkeys, and then run to the Changkey Maker yet again when a Changkey is flying to the left. If a Changkey lands on the second oil block, jump over it whenever you run away from any more Changkeys that may land upon you. Keep repeating this process until the Changkey Maker is killed! 005 You have 9 seconds to get to the flag on the other side of the screen. There will also be Killer Bombs spread on specific spots of the course. Shoot a oil patch on the ground and get into Oil Slider mode. Slide to the right and jump high and far onto each ledge and dash on the Killer Bombs. When you get to a area a bit higher up and the ledges are shorter, you should make small jumps on each one (and not too high) and you will be able to get on all of them. Keep sliding and when you get to ground level again, you can make high jumps again. When it's about 2-3 seconds left, you will reach the flag! 006 You will teleport on a block, there are spikes behind you and conveyor belts right under and infront of you. There's a narrow opening infront of you that you can shoot oil through, so shoot an oil patch at the conveyor belt in front of you, then jump down to the left to catch the oil patch falling to the left, and you will be able to get into Oil Slider mode and slide to the right. Don't slide too fast though, since you need to jump up to the conveyor belt at the upper levels to proceed. Once there, jump over a pit to the next conveyor belt and you will reach the flag! 007 You have 18 seconds to get to the flag on the other side of the screen. You need to slide past a couple of spikes, Water Towers and some enemies to beat this course. Begin to shoot an oil patch so it floats and get up on it so you will slide forward and hit Screw Drivers placed on 2 ledges. Water Towers will push you a bit higher up than usuall, and that'll help you jump over some spikes in front of you. Then another set of Water Towers will appear, so get on them and at the edge, jump over the spikes, then you should jump over the next 2 spikebeds that shows up and do another jump to slide on a ledge. When you get close to a spikewall, press up and jump to get off the Oil Slider, run under the spike wall, and infront of 4 Blasters, shoot another patch of oil and ride it and then jump over the ledge infront of you, and then finally, ride all the way to the right while killing Telly's and you will reach the flag in no time! 008 You have 18 seconds to get to the flag on the other side of the screen. The course will be filled with large Oil Blocks, so to destroy them, you need to ram them with your Oil Slider. Begin by shooting an oil patch on the ground and walk on it. Now you need to keep dashing and jump over 3 ledges that sticks out from the ground and then ram through a long row of Oil Blocks. At the end of this row, you will now have to jump high to hit 2 Oil Blocks that are placed on high pillars. If you accidently get stuck somewhere during the road, keep walk- ing right, shoot an oil patch and quickly ride it. Keep going forward and jump at the Oil Blocks that are a bit higher up on the screen. Near the end, you will see a long row of Oil Blocks stacks next to each other, so ram through all of them and at the last Oil Block, jump high to reach the flag! 009 You have 20 seconds to get to the flag on the other side of the screen. You have very low health too. The course is filled with Suzys and you need to either jump over or ram a couple of them to reach the flag! Whenever you see a Suzy at the most ground level, just ram it, but if there's a Suzy a bit higher up, jump at or over it so you either kill it or jump past it. Come up with a solution to get through this course and then go kick some Suzy behind and get that flag! Here's a small solution. You must keep sliding at the fastest speed and each time you see a Suzy above or infront of you, do the following things: Jump, Slide, Jump, Jump (low), Slide, Jump, Slide, Jump, Slide, Jump, Slide, Jump (high), Slide x2, Jump, Slide x3, Jump, Slide, Jump x2, Slide x5, Jump! 010 You have 20 seconds to get to the flag on the other side of the screen. You have very low health too. The starting part of the course will consist of a few Metalls and a Suzy and the rest of the course is packed with Manbu's. Unlike the last mission, everytime you see an enemy on ground level, you must jump over it or else you'll die, because you can't kill an enemy completely while it's guarded, because it will only flip over and you'll die instead. There is no real strategy to use here, besides jumping everytime you see even the sligh- test pixel of enemy onscreen. This is definately the hardest speed mission for OilMan. ~~~~~ Boss Survival ~~~~~ 001 Beat the Robot Masters from Old Style mode (6 bosses). They'll have Old Style mode weaknesses and you have access to all weapons. You play as Rockman, and you can't select the Robot Master you want to face either, since you'll run into them one after another while going through doors. Behind each Robot Master there's a bit of life energy to pick up as well (but not so much), so you need to effectively avoid their attacks, or you won't have enough energy to beat them all. Boss Order: GutsMan, CutMan, ElecMan, IceMan, FireMan, BombMan. 002 Beat the Robot Masters from New Style mode (8 bosses) on Easy Difficulty. They will have New Style mode weaknesses and you have access to all weapons. Also, you can play as any of the characters you've unlocked. And as the last mission, you face all the bosses in a set order, so you can't choose which one to face first. It's recommended that you bring Rockman C into this mission. For recovery, you'll get a small life energy capsule each battle. Boss Order: CutMan, BombMan, IceMan, FireMan, OilMan, ElecMan, TimeMan, GutsMan. 003 Beat the Robot Masters from New Style mode (8 bosses) on Normal Difficulty. You can see where some of these were used for the Challenge Modes if you played those yet. Cut Starter - Contains a Floor Block, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the back- ground. The background music for this is Cutman's New Style theme. The backg- round image is mountains with a few trees mixed about. Guts Starter - Contains a Floor Block, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the back- ground. It also contains the signature Drop Lift as well. The background music is Gutsman's New Style song. The background shows a mining machine dumping rocks admist a mountain with construction girders here and there. Ice Starter - Contains a Floor Block, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the back- ground. It also has the Water Block that sprouts out water and puts out Fire- man's attacks, on top of acting as a lift, available in it's Trap section. Another unique thing to this level is that half of it's map is placed under water, which makes it perfect if you wish to utilize that feature. Also let it be noted that the floors is this level are slippery. The music is Iceman's New Style, and in the background for the top part of the level is icy moutains with some clouds strung about, while under the water is mountains with the Northern Lights effect going about. Bomb Starter - Contains a Floor Block, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the back- ground. Also special for this level is it's conveyor belts in the Trap Section. The background music is Bombman's New Style. The background is rather bland in this, as it's a large machinery looking thing that appears to be enlarged far too much, with some oversized bombs tossed into the mix here and there. Fire Starter - Contains a Floor Block, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the back- ground. Also has the signature Fire Block that Iceman and Rockman can freeze to make quick platforms, and are used to bring back Fireman's flame if it goes out. The background music is Fireman's New Style. The background contains walls of blackish brown hexagons with the occasional heat flare effect in the backg- round. Elec Starter - Contains a Floor Block, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the backg- round. Also hosts the infamous Vanish Block, a stable to the Classic game series. The background music is Elec Man's New Style theme. The background in this one is a nice montage of green diamonds with the occasional power going through their outlines, as well as something that looks like part of a mother- board chip in it as well. Time Starter - Contains a Floor Block, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the back- ground. Also home to the Pendulum, which changes it's speed as it's attacked. The background music is Timeman's theme from New Style Mode. The background here is his signature green brick wall from his stage. Oil Starter - Contains a Floor Block, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the backg- round. Also has the signature Oil Slick blocks for use here in the Trap Sec- tion. The background music is Oilman's theme from New Style Mode. The backgrou- nd this time contains wind mills and dunes with the occasional burning Oil field tossed into the mix for good measure. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% Extra Packs %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% These are buffed up versions of the character's packs. Alot of the added things aren't even from their home level once you get into it all and take a peak about... Cut Extra - Contains two Floor Block designs, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the background. This one pulls out a slew of new goodies that are nowhere seen in Cutman's stage in the main game of any mode. You get the pendelum that was described above, as well as the Lava Shooter and Lava Rail from Fireman's stage, on top of a conveyor belt, and a Breaking Block Generator all in one package. Awesome. The music stays the same in this pack, as well as the back- ground. Guts Extra - Contains two Floor Block designs, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the background. For the Trap Section, this one sports Snow Floor, which Fireman melts away if he's ablaze and standing on, Guts Break Block, which Gutsman can break by jumping on or into depending on the situation, the Lava Shooter and Lava Rail duo, and of course the Drop Lift from his stage. The music still is the same, while the background has a few more of the things from the starter pack mixed into it all to make it look more busy. Ice Extra - Contains two Floor Block designs, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the background. It also contains the Water Block, Vanish Block, Snow Floor, and Generator in the Trap Section. Also, this pack has it so around.. 60ish percent of the map is engulfed in water, as opposed to the 40/50ish of the Ice Starter. The music still is the same, while the background has a few more of the things from the starter pack mixed into it all to make it look more busy, and it appears now this time there's even some underwater buildings in the background to boot. Bomb Extra - Contains two Floor Block designs, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the background. Also contains the Water Block, Pendelum, the Switch Ball and Switch Block from Bombman's Challenge Mode, and lastly the Conveyor Belt. The music still is the same, while the background has a few more of the things from the starter pack mixed into it all to make it look more busy. Fire Extra - Contains two Floor Block designs, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the background. This Pack hosts the Fire Block, Vanish Block, Lava Shooter and Lava Rail, and the Drop Lift for you to utilize, which makes me think of Heat- man styled levels...The music still is the same, while the background has a few more things added to it, like now a lava machine. Elec Extra - Contains two Floor Block designs, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the background. This Pack holds the Elec Block, Vanish Block, Guts Break Block, and Conveyor Belt to be utilized, making it so this is Gutsman's worse night- mare almost. The music still is the same, while the background has a few more of the things from the starter pack mixed into it all to make it look more busy. Time Extra - Contains two Floor Block designs, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the background. Here you shall find the Fire Block,Pendelum, Switch Ball and Switch Block, and Conveyor Belt. The music still is the same, while the back- ground has a few more of the things from the starter pack mixed into it all to make it look more busy. Oil Extra - Contains two Floor Block designs, Ladder, Spike, and a Wall for the background. This Pack will net the Elec Block, Lava Shooter, Lava Rail, Oil Slick, and Generator in your Trap Section. The music still is the same, while the background has a few more of the things from the starter pack mixed into it all to make it look more busy, as well as some sort of green storage unit too. Special Packs Each of these packs have a Theme in mind, and take it to the limit in terms of the amount of goodies in the Trap Section they allow you. I would imagine that for general purposes, alot of people shall use these packs. Elemantal Special - For starters, about half of this level is underwater. You get the same standard blocks that the Extra Packs contained, ala the two build- ing blocks and what have you, but the Trap Section this time is HUGE! Let's see... You get Fire Block, Water Block, Elec Block, Snow Floor, Lava Shooter, Lava Rail, and Oil Slick all at your disposal. The music and background are from Iceman New Style. Trans Special - Same as above about the building blocks and overly insanely large Trap Section. You'll be utilzing Fire Block, Water Block, Snow Floor, Pendelum, Conveyor, Drop Lift, and Generator. The music and background this time hail from Gutsman's New Style home. Ground Special - More of the same from the standard blocks, blah blah blah about overkill on the Trap Section. You'll be unleashing the wrath of Vanish Block, Snow Floor, Guts Break Block, Switch Block and Switch Floor, Oil Slick, and Conveyor Belt here. Your background music and scenery hail from Timeman's New Style. Action Special - The last of the Specilized packs, and it doesn't let down at all. We already know we have the same standard blocks to use, and the Trap Section this time is filled with goodies such as Elec Block, Vanish Block, Pendelum, Lava Shooter, Lava Rail, Drop Lift, and last but not least, Gener- ator. This round you'll be enjoying the awesome tunes and semi relaxing back- ground of Elecman New Style. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% Old Packs %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% You obtain these by logging on to Rockman Web with your PSP and grabbing them from the Updates. These beauties go off and make it so the 8-bit textures from the true original game are in use, and does them in a fashion similar to how the Mario levels were done in the Smash Bros. games. Old Guts - Basicly everything from the NES game, even the graphics, is conta- ined in this pack. You DO get some extras in the Trap Section this time though, such as Fire Block, Guts Break Block, and of course the infamous Drop Lift. Even the music is the same as Classic Mode, or rather the 8-Bit song older fans such as myself have come to love or loathe over the ages. Old Fire - You get all the flamey industrial looks on this pack that graced the NES all those years ago... You'll get Fire Block, Pendelum, and Conveyor Belt for your Trap Section this time. Of course the song is his Classic Mode one from the NES days, just for those of you in doubt. Old Elec - This one has the futuristic industry feel going for it like in the past. You'll love the sheer amount of traps in this pack though, as it makes quite alot of fun. You'll most greedily enjoy the standard Elec Block, as well as new additions in the form of Pendelum, Switch Ball, Switch Block, and Drop Lift. The scenery and music is straight from the NES days, so enjoy to your heart's content. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% Enemy Packs %%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% These are where you'll get the bulk of the danger for your stages that the Trap Section can't do. There's a whopping 32 Enemy Packs to pick from at the moment, for it's unknown if Capcom will have any additional ones online or not in fut- ure updates, but that's still more than enough for the general purposes of them. First though, allow me to familiarize you all with the foes you can unleash on the unsuspecting players of your stages... Enemy Packs - Stationary Foes Beak - It fires off 3 shots in a up, middle, down way. Whenever it's closed, nothing can penetrate it's mighty defenses, save for a charged shot from Rock- man or Blues. Cost - 3 Screw Bomber - It shoots upward or downward based on it's placement with a spread effect. Three shots will spread up/downward, while one from each side on a horizontal scale. It's rather hard to hit at times due to level placement, so feel free to utilize this factor. Cost - 3 Crazy Cannon - This guy was seen original in Flashman's stage from Rockman 2, and he's back for more action! He'll stand still in his spot and fire off shots at you, then stop for a second or so to adjust his aim to get a better hit in. His shots arch, so take that into account when designing your levels. Cost - 8 Hothead - He tosses out an endless supply of Tackle Fires from his head, yet he cannot move at all. Beware, for his Tackle Fires can ignite Oil Slicks, and cause a nice amount of damage that way. Cost - 12 Shield Cannon - This enemy was seen first in Rockman 4 in Skullman's stage. The only real difference is this time it's shots don't bounce about after being fired. You have to wait for it to open it's shield on it's own, then nail it with everything you've got before it's cannon ball arches over and hits you. Of course, a charged shot can take it out easily even with a shield. Cost - 8 Sniper Joe - This guy is known by all old fans. He WILL jump though at points, but only in his same general area. He'll occasionally use his buster, and that's when you can attack. A well placed Hyper Bomb or Charged Shot will fix that shield though. Cost - 8 Picket Man - Think of a Sniper Joe with the ability to throw sickles in a curved arch, and you have Picket Man. Same strategies and rules apply too, only oddly he takes more on the costs... Cost - 12 Met - The famous Met of all things Rockman save for the Legends game. It uses a spread shot whenever you get too close to it. You all know how it works by now, with the deflection of all attacks unless you're close enough to lure it out of hiding. Cost - 6 Enemy Packs - Flying Enemies Blader - The green helicopter guy throughout the game. He homes in on your location, so keep that in mind. Cost - 5 Octo Battery - Formally known as Suzy for those of us that fought the night- marish Rockman 3 for GB boss battle, this enemy moves either left and right, or up and down, until hitting something. Nothing more, nothing less. Cost - 3 Bubble Bat - It hides in a shield casing when you first meet it, then as you approach, it'll come out and make a HORRIBLE screeching sound until you kill it. Also homes in on your location, though slowly. Cost - 6 Killer Bullet - This guy is like a Bullet Bill on steroids! It flys in a str- aight line, an makes for good platform fodder if you're Iceman, just watch out for when you destroy it, for it leaves a bomb blast that damages you. Cost - 3 Flying Shell - It's encased in an armor that can only be damaged with a precise jump or else a charge shot, unless of course it opens up it's shell to attack you with a spread attack that goes out in all directions. Cost - 6 Tackle Fire - These are created by Hotheads, and will semi home in on your area, while also igniting any oil slicks. When you place them in the level on their own, they'll constantly respawn as long as the player is on their screen. Cost - 5 Bobble - These were seen quite a bit in Rockman 2 and following games. They constantly respawn endlessly as you kill them and slowly home in on your loc- ation. Cost - 5 Shield Guard - First introduced in Rockman 4, these foes fly back and forth, with invincible to attacks on it's front side. Be warned, even charge shots aren't overly effective on this foe, for it shall knock off the shield, but the enemy will still come speeding even faster head on at you for a quick hit. Cost - 6 Foot Holder - This foe can be used as transportation, and has two set paths for you to utilize. Cost - 6 Watcher - This enemy is encased in a shield and will stop periodically to shoot out two beams at you. It also moves either straight up or down depending on the placement. Cost - 6 Peng - This enemy flies in a zig zag pattern to the left or right. Cost - 3 Enemy Packs - Unique Foes Cactuspy - This is a new variation on the classic Met. It attacks with a spread shot similar to the Screw Bomber, then it hops up and moves about on it's own. Cost - 6 Bombomb - These pop up from the ground and explode into a spead attack of four mini exploding bombs, with two on each side of it. Cost - 12 Spine - This enemy moves back and forth on a platform, and will speed up if you're on the same platform as it. Cost - 5 Count Bomb - This enemy is very unique. It comes in two variations, one of which stays in place, and the other drops down to the ground and sprouts legs and begin walking in a pre-determined direction. Great when used with spikes or air traps! Cost - 3 Flea - Yet another classic, this foe will jump about in order to hit you for Crash Damage. Cost - 5 Crazy Razy - If the lower part of this foe is taken out, or you get too close to it, the top will come off and it'll attack like a giant Blader while sweep- ing with it's arms to boot! Quite a tricky foe. Cost - 6 Big Eye - About as close to a boss as far as minor enemies are concerned. Actually, it WAS a boss on the first level, though this one is far smaller and without the energy attacks, nor the overly weak design. This foe's main attack is just jumping. That's it. Just jumping. Though it'll randomly do a long jump, or a high jump, and is only weak to attack when it's eye is open, which happens only when it's jumping. Placing one of these before a boss battle or before a check point is a devilishy evil thing to do, probably more reason for Wily and Capcom to do so. I opted not to include the exact locat- ion since for one, that would be next to impossible for most of them, and also since they're in plain sight, just hard to obtain. Besides, a little element of suprise and effort keeps the fun in the game, no? It's true! And here's how ya do it! Bonus Characters How to get? Blues Beat Challenge Mode (All 100 Challenges). Blues jumps two times higher than any other character, and his buster constantly shoots Charge Shots called "Blues Strike". Also, when he stands still, he takes out his shield to guard himself from projectiles. He takes double damage upon impact with an enemy though. Rock (No Armor or Rock Buster) Beat New Style mode on Hard difficulty as Rockman. Rock uses a close-range attack called Rock Kick. And that's pretty much it. Roll Go into Infrastructure Mode and download the Roll Present from the SP Section of Capcom's File Server. You do this simply by entering the game's Infrastructure mode from the title screen. Roll uses her cleaning tools, such as a broom, in close-range combat. Robot Masters: CutMan, GutsMan, IceMan, BombMan, FireMan, ElecMan, OilMan, TimeMan Play New Style mode and defeat each of these robot masters with the Rock Buster. They will not blow up and can be taken back to Dr. Right's Lab for re-programming them for good deeds, and thus, they will now be playable. Rockman C Unlike in the original Rockman game, Rockman Rockman allows you to unlock two abilities not normally available until Rockman 3 (sliding) n' Rockman 4 (charge shot). To unlock these abilities for Rockman, beat New Style mode on Normal difficulty all the way (do not switch difficulties inbetween). You'll get a message at the ending that confirms that you've gotten them. Go to the Chara- cter Select screen of your game and select Rockman. You will now be prompted to select "Rockman" or "Rockman C". Choose "Rockman C" to be able to use Charge Shot and Sliding. The Charge Shot is the same one from Rockman 5 though. Anyt- hing that you've done with the regular Rockman applies for "Rockman C" as well, so there's no need to start all over again with him.
