Augmented Reality arena
This mode allows a fight to occur in an arena with a real world background as captured from the rear camera. It also features birds from Mortal Kombat 2 flying across in the background. At the main menu, select the “Practice Mode” option in the “Training” section. At the character selection screen, press Triangle to display the arena selection screen. Press L + R to enable Augmented Reality mode. If you entered the code correctly, Shao Kahn will laugh. Then, select your characters, and start Practice mode.

Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding bonus:

Easy koins
Set the difficulty to the “Beginner” level, and set the number of rounds to win a match to “3”. Keep starting Arcade mode until “The Pit 2” (Night) comes up as the first stage. You must first unlock the hidden fight with Classic Reptile; thus, if there are no silhouettes flying in front of the moon, pause the game, and select the option to choose another character. Select any desired fighter (even the same fighter you were using), and the fight will again start at “The Pit 2” (Night). Once you get a match where you see shadowy figures flying across the moon, get a double flawless victory and perform a stage fatality. You will then unlock the hidden fight against Classic Reptile. Battle Classic Reptile until the end of the match. When the announcer says “Finish Him/Her!”, pause the game, and choose to select a new character. When you begin the new fight, it will introduce the original character you fought to get to Classic Reptile as if they are the secret battle that you have unlocked. Each round you win against them will get you 5,000 koins, while each round lost still gets you 1,000 koins. When the announcer says “Finish Him/Her!”, pause the game, and choose to select a new character again. Repeat this as many times as desired. This glitch will allow you to continue to fight the same character, each time earning 1,000 or 5,000 koins per round as if you are fighting Classic Reptile. If the rounds to win a match are set at 3, you could earn 12,000 koins each match (two won and two lost rounds). This will make it very easy to collect the 299,880 koins needed to unlock everything in the Krypt. You will only need 25 matches with two won and lost rounds each to get the necessary amount of koins.
Easy “Brotherhood Of Shadow” trophy
When you see Noob Saibot standing in the background during a fight in the “Temple” (Cathedral) stage in Ladder mode, win all rounds without blocking. Then, Classic Noob Saibot will challenge you, and you will get the “Brotherhood Of Shadow” trophy. You will get 1,000 koins for defeating him. Note: To get Classic Noob Saibot to appear easily, when he does not appear in the Temple (Cathedral) stage, simply pause the game, and go back to the player selection screen. Start the match again, and repeat this process until he appears.
Easy “Hide And Seek” trophy
When fighting in “The Living Forest” stage in Ladder mode, when you see Smoke pop out from behind one of the trees, press Down + Select repeatedly. Then, Classic Smoke will challenge you, and you will get the “Hide And Seek” trophy. You will get 2,000 koins for defeating him. Note: To fight Classic Smoke easily, if you fail to get Smoke to challenge you, simply pause the game, and go back to the player selection screen. Start the match again, and repeat this process until you are successful.
Easy “Pit Master” trophy
When fighting on “The Pit 2” (Night) stage in Ladder mode, wait until a shadowy figure flies across the moon, then get a double flawless victory and perform a stage fatality. Then, Classic Reptile will challenge you, and you will get the “Pit Master” trophy. You will get 5,000 koins for defeating him. Note: To fight Classic Reptile easily, if you fail to get a double flawless victory and perform a stage fatality, simply pause the game, and go back to the player selection screen. Start the match again, and repeat this process until you are successful.
Easy “You Found Me!” trophy
Defeat all opponents in Ladder mode without losing a round. Once you fight Shang Tsung, get a double flawless victory and perform a fatality. Then, Classic Jade will challenge you in Goro’s Lair, and you will get the “You Found Me!” trophy. You will get 5,000 koins for defeating her. Note: To fight Classic Jade easily, if you fail to get a double flawless victory against Shang Tsung, you must at least defeat Shang Tsung. Then, when it says “FINISH HIM!”, pause the game, and go back to the player selection screen. Start the match again, and repeat this process until you are successful. -From: Terry

- Block This! (Bronze): Perform a 10-hit combo with any fighter.
- The Grappler (Bronze): Perform every fighter’s forward and backwards throws.
- Where’s The Arcade? (Bronze): Complete Arcade Ladder with Any Fighter.
- Arcade Champion (Silver): Complete Arcade Ladder with All Fighters.
- Finish What You Start! (Bronze): Perform a Fatality with all playable fighters.
- Touch and Go (Bronze): Perform 1 “-ality” using the PlayStationVita system touchscreen.
- Ladder Master (Bronze): Complete Arcade Ladder on max difficulty without using a continue.
