Play as Galactus in Arcade mode
Earn 30,000 points on your player card. Then at the main menu, highlight the “Arcade Mode” option, and press Select + L + X to unlock Galactus in Arcade mode.
Switch starting character
At the loading screen before a fight, hold L or R to swap the character that starts the fight.
Trophies
Successfully complete one of the following tasks to get a trophy:
- The Ultimate (Platinum): Obtain all Trophies.
- Waiting for the Trade (Gold): View all endings in Arcade mode.
- The Best There Is (Bronze): Beat Arcade mode on the hardest difficulty.
- Saving My Quarters (Bronze): Beat Arcade mode without using any continues.
- The Points Do Matter (Bronze): Earn 400,000 points in Arcade mode.
- High-Score Hero (Silver): Earn 500,000 points in Arcade mode.
- Missions? Possible. (Bronze): Clear 120 missions in Mission mode.
- Up To The Challenge (Silver): Clear 240 missions in Mission mode.
- Master of Tasks (Silver): Clear 480 missions in Mission mode.
- Above Average Joe (Bronze): Land a Viewtiful Combo. (Arcade/online only)
- Mutant Master (Bronze): Land an Uncanny Combo. (Arcade/online only)
- Mega Buster (Bronze): Use 1,000 Hyper Combo Gauge bars. (Arcade/online only)
- Defender (Bronze): Block 100 times. (Arcade/Online only)
- Advancing Guardian (Bronze): Perform 100 Advancing Guards. (Arcade/Online only)
- A Friend in Need (Bronze): Perform 100 Crossover Assists. (Arcade/Online only)
- First Strike (Bronze): Land 50 First Attacks. (Arcade/Online only)

- Comic Collector (Gold): Unlock all items in the Gallery.
- Passport to Beatdown Country (Bronze): Fight in all of the stages.
