Unlock the following cheats by winning Platinum medals in Challenge mode. To win a Platinum medal, you must complete all three primary objectives in any one Challenge mode match before the end of the match. This will then allow you to play that same match again with the chance to win a Platinum medal by completing the Platinum objective. The Platinum objective will be listed under the primary objectives. Note: You can quit the game once you have achieved the Platinum objective; you do not have to play out the entire match. You can only use the cheats in Play Now mode.

- Ball Trace mode: 15 Platinum medals
- Brake Tackle mode: 20 Platinum medals
- Offload mode: 25 Platinum medals
- Gravity mode: 30 Platinum medals
- Unknown: 38 Platinum medals
- Ball Trace mode: 15 Platinum medals
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding movie in the "EA Sports Extras" menu:
- 1987 World Cup Highlights: Get a gold medal in the 1987 Final in Challenge mode.
- 1991 World Cup Highlights: Get a gold medal in the 1991 Final in Challenge mode.
- 1995 World Cup Highlights: Get a gold medal in the 1995 Final in Challenge mode.
- 1999 World Cup Highlights: Get a gold medal in the 1999 Final in Challenge mode.
- 2003 World Cup Highlights: Get a gold medal in the 2003 Final in Challenge mode.
