  • Play as Azai Nagamasa

    Successfully complete Musou mode with Oichi to unlock Azai Nagamasa.

  • Play as Date Masamune

    Successfully complete Musou mode with Saiga Magoichi to unlock Date Masamune.

  • Play as Hattori Hanzou

    Have a saved game file from the original Samurai Warriors on your memory card to unlock Hattori Hanzou. Alternately, successfully complete Musou mode with Fuuma Kotarou.

  • Play as Honda Tadakatsu

    Have a saved game file from Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends on your memory card to unlock Honda Tadakatsu. Alternately, successfully complete Musou mode with Tokugawa Ieyasu.

  • Play as Inahime

  • Play as Maeda Keiji

    Successfully complete Musou mode with Naoe Kanetsugu to unlock Maeda Keiji.

    Have a saved game file from the original Samurai Warriors on your memory card to unlock Uesugi Kenshin. Alternately successfully complete Musou mode with Naoe Kanetsugu.

  • Ina's fourth weapon

    Kill all generals yourself on Ina's first stage.

  • Keiji's fourth weapon

    Get 1,000 kills on Keiji's fourth stage, the Battle Of Hasedou, to get his weapon.

  • Free items

    Start any stage in Story mode, then create an "Interim Save" and choose "Quit". Select the "Continue" option, then exit the map (Triangle) to go back to the previous screen. Select "Free mode" to cancel your Interim Save, then select a different character then you are using in Story mode. Next, buy any items you want from the shop, then exit the shop and hold Start + Select at the stage selection screen to do a soft reset. You should now have all your gold back and still have the items you bought.
