This is my first walkthrough, so please take it easy on me. I chose to write a walkthrough for this game because, when I got this game I wanted to see if it had a walkthrough, but no one wrote one, so I decided to write one. You can also see your percentage, how many Goblin Teeth, Fire Salamanders, Cockroaches and Birdhouse Items you currently have. Quests: Quests are in capital letters. Sub-quests are in normal writting. You can see the Quests and Sub-quests you've completed and the ones you currently have. Character: Attacks: You can see the attacks you currently have and the ones that are unlocked. Sprite Powers: You can see the Sprite Powers you have, you can hold to a maximum of 3. Power-Ups: You can see your Power-ups: Goblin Teeth: Collect to unlock new attacks. Faerie Fruit: Simon can lure Sprites with this. Ball Bearings: Jared can use this for the Slingshot. Gobstones: They explode when you throw them. Field Guide: Has pages and information about various things: Unfriendly Creatures: Goblins and Boggarts. Friendly Creatures: Brownies and Hobgoblins. Sprites. Rare and Common Creatures: Cockatrices and Elves. Objects: Net and Monocle. Note: The names I've given in the Field Guide are just examples, there are more. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Enemies and Bosses ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Enemies: Goblins: They are small, green creatures, that drop 1 Tooth. Orange Goblins: They are really like the Goblins, only stronger... and orange. They drop 2 Teeth. Armoured Orange Goblins: Same as Orange Goblins, but with armour. They take the same hits as the Orange Goblin, plus one, for every piece of armor they're wearing. Bull Goblin: Now this is an enemy, big, purple and really strong. They drop 3 Teeth. Bosses: Redcap(Quest 16): Disarm him when he's preparing to attack. While disarmed attack him. After a while he'll get his weapon. Do this 4 times. Redcap(Quest 23): Disarm him when he's preparing to attack. While disarmed attack him. After a while he'll get his weapon. Fencing Sword: A normal fencing sword. Found: Automatically, on Quest 16. Tomato Bombs: Plastic bags with lethal potion. Basically, there's nothing to do here. Here you can find the photo of Dad(O to interact), a Cracker, a Fish Tank and occasionally Mr. Tibbs . You can't do anything with this, yet... So let's go on, first you need to go to the tower, but first a map of the first floor of the mansion. Note: While I'm writing the Quests I also write the Sub-quests. If you want you can go to other rooms. The bathroom has an Old Pipe. Mallory's room has a Fencing Medal and a Doily(whatever that is). Mom's Room is locked so you can't go in, don't worry it'll unlock soon. Between Mom and Mallory's Room you can find Salt. Let's go to the Room To The Attic, well it isn't exactly a room, more of a passageway, but let's continue. Go up the stairs and into the Attic. Attic: ___________________ | SS | | | | L | | | | BP | | | | | | | | |Entrance|________| BP: Bicycle Pump L: Ladder SS: Strange Shelves Here we have a Bicycle Pump and Strange Shelves, remember this last one, it's going to be really important. Let's go, climb the ladder, to climb simply get next to it and the character will grab onto it. Climb until you get to the Tower. You can't do nothing with the Chest nor the Telescope Lens, but you can take the broom. Get there and then press O to get the Broom Stick. Press X to swing it, you can do up to a combo of 2. You can also press and hold X once, then release it or release it but continue tapping, but if you tap for too long you get dizzy. This is a Charge Attack. Let's go back to the First Floor. Get down the ladder, then the stairs, until you're in the First Floor. In here go down the stairs and to the Ground Floor. In the Study Room there are Books, in the Kitchen Annexe, Plastic Bags and in the Kitchen there are Tomato Sauce, Honey, Oatmeal, Oven, Soda Bottle and Plaster Wall. In the Hall there's Mr. Tibbs. When you get here you'll see a cutscene, go to the Kitchen, there will take place another one. After the cutscene you get a tutorial about the notebook. Break open the Plaster Wall with the Broom Stick, it'll take 4 hits. Cutscene. Use the dumbwaiter, to lift use the Right and Left Analog Sticks up and down to lift it. You'll get off automatically. Get back to the Kitchen, then run up the Stairs and up to the Attic, there climb the ladder and open the Chest to get the Field Guide. You're back in your room and you get a tutorial for the Field Guide. Take Cracker. Head to Mom's Room and take Wooden Bat. Go to the Attic and break the Strange Shelves with the Wooden Bat, it'll take 3 hits. Now you can access the Study Room without needing to use the Dumbwaiter. Move on to the Ground Floor. Go to the Kitchen, get the Honey. Go outside. You can catch some power-ups that are scattered here, you should find at least, 7 Faerie Fruits, 17 Ball Bearings and 5 Gobstones. Once you catch a Gobstone, you will unlock a Sub-quest, but you can only finish it with Simon. The Cellar Door, is locked, so don't bother. Go to the Shed and take the Bird House. Now go back to the House. Go to the Study Room, there place the Birdhouse on the Desk. Cutscene. _______________________________________________________________________ End of Quest 3 _______________________________________________________________________ Quest 4: Lure The Boggart Tasks: Find Cracker Add Honey To Cracker Place Treat At Birdhouse _______________________________________________________________________ New Quest= New Stuff 2 more Sub-quests are unlocked, Baseball Bat(Jared) and Decorate Birdhouse, but I'll get to them later. You're in the Study Room, if you've done what I said earlier, you should have the Honey and the Cracker, so place the Honey Cracker on the Desk. Cutscene. _______________________________________________________________________ End of Quest 4 _______________________________________________________________________ Quest 5: The Seeing Stone Tasks: Stone In A Fuse Box Stone On A Pipe The Seeing Stone Return To Jared _______________________________________________________________________ New Quest= New Stuff You get to play with Thimbletack and also unlock a new page for the Field Guide. You're playing as Thimbletack and you're on the Study Desk. Walk against the stack of books right in front of you to climb. Now go inside the wall. The way opposite to the arrow has a Faerie Fruit, that restores Thimbletack's health, but you can't go that way, for now. So go to the way the arrow is pointing. Jump twice and press R1, you'll enter Ranged Mode, press X to throw a needle to the Cockroach. New Sub-quest unlocked. Climb that wall and kill the Cockroach, go forward and kill the other one,and the other. Turn right if you're hurt, to find 2 Faerie Fruits. Go back and jump to the platform that has a wire. Climb the wire and you'll find another Faerie Fruit. Jump to the platform ahead. Jump to the pipe. Get to the last platform and go left. Drop down to the floor and you'll find 2 Faerie Fruits and 4 Cockroaches. Scurry to get back up. Jump to the platform ahead and kill the Cockroach. Do the same. Jump again, kill the Cockroach. Now you must be careful, you need to time your jumps or you'll get electrocuted. Jump quickly through 3 platforms.Cutscene. Hit the Stone with a needle. Cutscene, look left and you'll see a Cockroach, kill it. The Stone's on the pipe, climb down the wire. 2 Faerie Fruits. Climb the pipe. Jump some platforms and go to the pipe. If you go back there will be a Cockroach down the piece of wood. After the pipe, you'll see a cutscene and the Stone stuck. Throw a needle to free it. Cutscene. Go down the hole, kill the Cockroach and Scurry to get up, kill another. If you drop down you'll see another one. Scurry, kill another and then jump to the platform. In that grey thing will be another one. Jump to the left and kill another one. Drop down the pipe and go to that pipe. There should be a Cockroach right in front of you, and one crawling on the bucket. On the wall behind you there'll be another one. You should find 6 more Cockroaches. Climb the wire, then jump twice, and down the wire, jump to the blue paint can, then to the brown one and now to the green one. Now take the Seeing Stone. Scurry on the card to get to the pipe, Scurry on this card too, jump to the left, Scurry again, jump down, then go to the pipe, get back to the beginning of this room(Scurry), go back and into the room before this one. Head back to the beginning of the tunnel but go the to the room next to it, that has a Swing Hook. There should be 2 Cockroaches, one on the wall and another one that is really far, but you can still kill it. Now you should have at least 30 Cockroaches. Go back to the study, and press O. Cutscene. _______________________________________________________________________ End of Quest 5 _______________________________________________________________________ Quest 6: Help From Simon Tasks: Find Simon Mr. Tibbs _______________________________________________________________________ New Quest= New Stuff Now you can see with the Seeing Stone, press R1, plus you get the Slingshot. New pages for the Field Guide too. You start in the Study Room. Let's get some Decorate Birdhouse Sub-quest items, you need to find 13 things to decorate it. You can't complete this now, but you can find the ones that are available. You start off with one(Birdhouse). Go to the garage. Take Christmas Lights. Go to the Shed, look right, there'll be a Toy Soldier, take it. Go back to the house and into Mallory's Room, take the Doily. That's it for now. You should have 5, still 8 to go. Go outside. Simon should be next to the garage. Talk to him. Simon says that Mr. Tibbs is on the Roof and he wants you to get him. Press R1 to get into Ranged Mode, use L1 to change ammo and X to shoot. Hold X for maximum impact. Hit that thing next to Mr.Tibbs. You start next to the Garage. You need a Lens and Spectacles to build a monocle. Go to the Tower. Take Telescope Lens. Now go to the Study Room and take Broken Spectacles. Head to the Workbench on the other side of the room. Cutscene. Take Monocle. Cutscene. _______________________________________________________________________ End of Quest 8 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 3: The Goblin Army ----------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________________________________ Quest 9: The Health Sprite Tasks: Find A Net Capture Health Sprite _______________________________________________________________________ New Quest= New Stuff You get new pages for the Field Guide, you get to use the Sprite Net, find a Fire Salamander and fight two Goblins and get new Sub-quests You start in the Study Room, go get the Sprite Net. Use L1 to toggle between your weapon and the Sprite Net. Go outside. There's a Fire Salamander next to the Garage, but you need to extinguish it to pick it up, so forget about it, for now. Near the Back Gate will be two Goblins, use the Wooden Bat to kill them. New Sub-quest, Goblin Teeth, you need to get at least 50 Goblin Teeth with each character to get all the core moves. Head to the Front Gate, there you'll see something green that's flying, that's the Health Sprite, use the Net to catch it, now you have to record it by painting the sprite, and you have time. After you record it it'll go with you, and everytime you record 2 Leatherwing Sprites your maximum health will increase. Use Triangle whenever you need to use the Sprite. _______________________________________________________________________ End of Quest 9 _______________________________________________________________________ Quest 10: Through The Woods Tasks: Hunt For Simon _______________________________________________________________________ New Quest= New Stuff You get to record new Sprites, new Sub-quests, and new pages in the Field Guide(Before the Woods) and you get to go to the Woods. You can only find one Flower Head Sprite(Whirlwind Power) here, but you need to find 2 to complete the first task of the Sub-quest and there are 7 in total. You can find one Royal Orchid Sprite(Temporary Toadstool Ring), but you need to find 2 to complete the first task of the Sub-quest and there are 5 in total. You can find one Bellflower Sprite(Damage Boost), but you need to find 2 to complete the first task of the Sub-quest and there are 5 in total. You can find two Sprout Sprites(Will give you Faerie Fruit),but you need to find 10 to complete the Sub-quest and there are 10 in total. You can find one Will-O'-The-Wisp(Distraction), but you need to find 10 to complete the Sub-quest and there are 10 in total. Near the Front Door, should be an ISL Letter, take it. It will unlock a Multiplayer Sprite Capture Game. Let's continue, but before you go after Simon, I suggest you get the Health, Damage Boost and Whirlwind Sprite Powers. After you get them go to the Back Gate, then go to Forest Road. Cutscene. This place is full of Sprites. But first, there are 3 Goblins, kill them and you will unlock a new attack. You should find one Will-O'-The-Wisp(Beginning). You should find one Flower Winged Sprite(Dash Power)(Beginning), 2 for the first task of the Sub-quest and 7 in total. You should find one Flower Head Sprite(Beginning). Go past the log bridge and kill 2 more Goblins. Here you have a choice of going right or keep going, before you do anything go next to that big rock, you'll find 2 Gobstones. Keep going, although it's blocked you can find a Pond Skater Sprite(Invulnerablility),3 for Sub-quest and 3 in total. Go right. The path here will divide, you can keep going or turn right, I say turn right. Here you can find one Sprout Sprite, one Leatherwing Sprite(Log) and another Sprout Sprite(Past the log). You can't get through the Fire Salamander Lava, so go back, once you get on the other way that you didn't go, you'll come to a grassy area, there'll be a Goblin, kill it, then a second one will appear, kill it, near the Stray Sod will appear two more, then four more to the right and three to the front. Here you can find two Sprout Sprites, a Royal Orchid Sprite, a Stray Sod(Run around it first)(Gives you Gobstones),8 for Sub-quest and 8 in total, a Bellflower Sprite, a Flower Head Sprite, a Flower-Winged Sprite, a Stray Sod, between two rocks, and another to the upper right corner. Go next to the Stray Sod and take the Old Coin, go to the Stray Sod between the rocks, be careful, there's a Bull Goblin there. Kill it. Now go to the other Stray Sod, kill the Goblin and take the Cockatrice Feather, that will unlock a Sub-quest and a new page. Take the upper left path. Keep going until 2 Goblins appear, kill them. Here the path will divide in three, go left near the pond to get some Faerie Fruits, Gobstones and Ball Bearings. Go forward and get more Faerie Fruits, Gobstones and Ball Bearings, get the Sprout Sprite. Go near the hole and go to Deep Woods. In front of you are more Ball Bearings and Gobstones. You need to be quick, put your Sprite Net on and quickly get the Royal Orchid Sprite, it'll talk to you and unlock a new Sub-quest. Keep going. Take the Ball Bearings and the Elven Basket, you unlocked a new Sub-quest and a new page. Now you're in a pond, catch a Pond Skater Sprite and a Will-O'-The-Wisp. Next to a rock in the pond is a Stone Frog, take it. Now go back in a place where you have the pond right in front of you and a way to the left and another to the right, go right. When you get near the log, don't climb to the platform at the right. It's for later, instead climb the log and take the Old Coin, don't go back yet, you can catch a Bellflower Sprite. Now get back to the place I mentioned before. Go left this time. Collect all of the stuff. Now go back and jump from rock to rock. Be careful here, there's a Bull Goblin here. Here will be a Cypress Tree. Now go all the way back and crawl the hole to Forest Road. Go on but, be careful, there's a Fire Salamander ahead. Keep moving. An Orange Goblin will appear, kill him. Now instead of keep going, go the way next to you. Take the Phoenix Egg Shell, new Sub-quest unlocked. Keep going and enter Deep Woods. Catch the Flower Winged Sprite. When you get here you have three paths to choose, first go the right one, collecting and killing stuff as you go. Take the Phoenix Feather. Catch the Stray Sod and kill the Goblins. Go on. Kill the Bull Goblin. There's an Oak Tree and a Stone Bird, take it. Get back and go the middle path. Get the Stray Sod. Get back again and go the left path. Get the Stray Sod, enter this new area, but be careful the Beetle Mimic Sprite will create a Changeling to defeat you, kill it. Catch the Beetle Mimic Sprite(Summon Changeling), unlocks Sub-quest, but you don't need to find more. Take the Old Coin. Continue your way until you find a path to the left and one to the right with a Stray Sod, go to the right, catch the Stray Sod. Go back and into the left path. Continue and get the Leatherwing Sprite, continue. Here will be a Bull Goblin on top of a rock throwing rocks at you, take him out with the Slingshot. The path will divide again, go right. Get the Stray Sod and go back. Take the left path. Go on and kill all the Goblins that appear in front of you. Keep going you can't go right because of the Fire Salamanders' Lava. Take Elfshot. Now you're in the pond. Backtrack to the place where the Quarry Sign is. Follow that path. Be careful, there will be 3 Goblins. Kill them. Here the path will divide, go right. Go to the pit, you can't get past, so get back and go left. Keep going until you get to a pond with big rocks. Catch the Will-O'- The-Wisp. Go the left path and kill the Bull Goblin and the other one, get the stuff. Now go the right path. Push the Log. Cutscene. Now you can get across that pit. Get the Stone Mouse. Go back. Go past the log, now you're in another pond. Get the Flower Winged Sprite. Go past the pond. Cutscene. Get the Will-O'-The-Wisp. Enter Quarry. _______________________________________________________________________ End of Quest 10 _______________________________________________________________________ Quest 11: Quarry Walls Tasks: Enter The Quarry Find A Fuse Place The Fuse Extend The Bridge Free Hogsqueal _______________________________________________________________________ New Quest= New Stuff New Location: Quarry. You start in the Woods, but you're really close to the Quarry. Catch the Leatherwing Sprite, the Sprout Sprite and the Will-O'-The-Wisp. Next take the Fuse, it's on the cabin. Now go up this slope. Keep going until a Goblin appears, kill it, continue. Get the Leatherwing Sprite. Continue until you get to a small cabin with a ladder, drop down. Break the entrance, it'll take 3 hits. Look to the right and get the Aluminum Bat. Get out and drop down. Go to the right, place Fuse in Fuse Box. Get back to the cabin and activate Control Panel. Get down again and jump to the bridge. Drop down the ladder. Cutscene. Now you need to free Hogsqueal and to do that you need to shoot the fan blades, so go forward, catch the Pond Skater Sprite and the Sprout Sprite. Keep going and turn left until you find a turn that is blocked, break it, it'll take 2 hits, take Pocket Watch, get back and crawl into hole, get the stuff and go back to the pond. Go to the highest rock and look up, above the Fan Blades there will be a lamp, shoot to release a Will-O'-The- Wisp, catch it. Shoot the Fan Blades. I'm going to show you my strategy for the next Quest, get the Health, the Invulnerability and another Sprite Power with you, you're going to need them, and make sure you have full health. Go back to Hogsqueal and open his cage. Cutscene. _______________________________________________________________________ End of Quest 11 _______________________________________________________________________ Quest 12: Escape The Goblin Camp Task: Find Jared _______________________________________________________________________ New Quest= New Stuff New Sub-quest and new pages for the Field Guide. You start as Simon, in the Goblin Camp, go back and get the Flower Head Sprite, a Gobstone, a Faerie Fruit, there's another Gobstone next to the tunnel blocked with rocks. Let's see the situation, you're in a Goblin Camp, you can't see them and you have no weapons, I would say you're screwed, but you aren't, the only bad thing is that you're in their camp, because you get the Monocle from Hogsqueal, and weapons, you have the Sprite Net(Low damage, but can hold them off), the Sprite Powers(the ones I told you before, should work, plus you also have the Whirlwind from the Flower Head Sprite) and you have Gobstones. Go back to where you started and take the Metal Leaf(New Sub-quest) and the Goblin Spit Wheel, kill the nearby Goblins and get the Ball Bearing next to the car, and the Faerie Fruit between the trees. Keep going while killing all the Goblins that show up. Quickly get the Bellflower Sprite. If you're injured get the Leatherwing Sprite. You're back to where you started Quest 11. Go up the slope and next to the cabin, drop down and you'll find a Flower Head Sprite. Jump to the bridge and put the Goblin Spit Wheel on the Crank, the drawbridge will fall, catch the Flower-Winged Sprite and go forward to get the Playing Cards and the Ball Bearing. Go back to the Quarry entrance, this time go forward and enter Forest Road. Go past the pond. You can't get too near the River Troll, or he'll grab you and try to eat you(If he tries, mash the Left Analog Stick left and right). My strategy is to let yourself get caught by the River Troll and escape, the River Troll will throw you to the front, and if you succed the Goblins will be right in front of you, and the only thing left to do is to throw them to the River Troll. Now 2 Goblins and 1 Orange Goblin will appear, defeat them. Keep going, when you get near the place with the first Quarry Sign, one Goblin and an Orange Goblin will appear, again kill them. Continue. You'll get to the grassy area. Here will only be 2 Goblins. Keep going. You're almost in the mansion, there'll be 5 Goblins, quickly kill them. Continue. You made it, but you still need to get inside the Toadstool Ring. Malllory's on the porch, on the right side of the mansion. Go next to Mallory. Redcap blocks your every blow, and to defeat him, you need to wait until he's preparing to attack, and then press X to Disarm him, while he's disarmed hit him. After a while he'll get his weapon. Do this at least 4 times. You start as Simon, next to a tree that Hogsqueal's on. Go near the Front Door, take ISL Letter #2. Go to the back of the Garage, extinguish the Fire Salamander, go to your room, place it in the Terrarium. Go outside and talk to Hogsqueal. He'll ask you to do him a favor. He says that some Bull Goblins hang out in the pond on Deep Woods. Let's do this Sub-quest. Go to the Forest Road. Keep going. Go through the same route you took on Quest 10, stop next to the first Quarry Sign. Go to the front path, and crawl the hole to Deep Woods. Continue. Go to the pond, there'll be the Bull Goblins, two on the left path, one on a rock in front of you, and then two on top of a slope. Kill them. Before you you go back, catch the Flower Head Sprite(Talk to it in the garden). Crawl the hole, instead of going back, go to the front, until you get to a Fire Salamander, extinguish it and the lava. Enter Deep Woods. Look out for the Goblins, some will come attack you, dispatch them. The path divides, right takes you to the pond. Left takes you to the maze part of Deep Woods. Go back, now keep going and extinguish the other Fire Salamander and the lava, drop down the log. Go to the mansion and return to Hogsqueal. Talk to him, he'll give you the Vision, now you don't need the Monocle. Another thing, go to the Garage, look under the Basket. A Sprite will come out, go outside again, catch it. New Sub- quest, go next to the Sprite and talk with it for a race. This is a bit hard, my strategy is to learn some shortcuts and using them, once you win, you'll receive lots of Faerie Fruits, Gobstones and Ball Bearings. Let's continue with the Quest. Go to the Shed and get the Garden Spade. Go to Jared and talk to him, he's on the right side of the house. Now you need to protect him while he looks for the key. This is a bit tricky, as Goblins will start to appear. The key is near the cellar. You're still in the same Quest, but now you're playing as Jared. Open Cellar Door. You start as Jared in the beginning of a tunnel. It's better if you go back and get some Sprite Powers. Get back and follow a trail of Ball Bearings. You'll find yourself in a bridge, catch the Will-O'-The-Wisp. The path divides, go right. Get the Bellflower Sprite, go back and to the other path, jump and kill the Goblin, jump again. Keep going and a Bull Goblin and 2 Goblins will appear. Go on and catch the Leatherwing Sprite and the Will-O'-The-Wisp. Kill the Bull Goblin that's throwing rocks at you. Keep going until you get to a, seemingly dead end, look left and jump there, follow the trail of Gobstones and Ball Bearings, to get back almost where you started. Go to the middle path where the 2 Goblins and Bull Goblin were. Keep jumping platforms until you get a cutscene. Now you need to escape from a Land Troll. Now, go the left path, take the Stone Lizard and the Faerie Fruit, go back and now go the front path, the floor will collapse. Cutscene. Now you're in the sewers, still running from the Land Troll, I'm not going to do a map of this, you just need to run forward. Avoid the pipes. You start as Thimbletack, on the Study Desk. Enter the wall, this time instead of going left go right. With the Jack, you now can swing yourself, to get to other places. Simply press R1 and aim to the Swing Hook and press X. Don't climb the wire, you can only open the safe later. Continue, drop down and go forward and kill the Cockroach. Drop down, if you're hurt, there'll be 3 Faerie Fruit. Scurry up the wall, on the left wall there'll be a Cockroach, kill it. Move on and jump between the circle. Kill the Cockroach. Now you need to jump and move Thimbletack to the left to get to the next platform. Kill the Cockroach. Keep moving. You'll enter a fireplace. Kill the Cockroach, and use the Jack to swing to the other platform. Drop down to the ground and kill the Cockroach, climb the wire and jump to the platform. Be careful not to get shocked, wait for the right moment. Kill the Cockroach. Go on and drop down from the book ahead. Climb down the wire and go front, kill the 2 Cockroaches. Take Postage Stamp. Go to the platform and jump to the shelf in front of you. Continue and kill the Cockroach on the right wall. Climb down the wire. Kill the 2 Cockroaches. Go by this ramp and kill the Cockroach. Wait and kill the next one. Go to the pipe, and then kill the Cockroach on your left. On the yellow pipe, kill another one. Jump up the pipe and kill the Cockroach. Swing with your Jack. Go on and time your movements, so you won't get shocked. Climb the wire. Take the Wall Safe Combination. Go back to where you first used your Jack. Climb the wire. Go through the pipe and kill the Cockroach. Use your Jack here. Cutscene. Climb the smaller pile of money, and then get the Amber Acorn. Go back to the Study Desk and press O. You start as Mallory in the Study Room.Talk to Thimbletack, follow the left path, go to the place where you first hit the stone, you'll notice a platform with a Faerie Fruit on it, this is difficult, so listen, you need to jump and shift your weight in the air, so you can get there. Once you're there keep going, again you need to shift your weight. Do it and then kill the Cockroach on the left wall. Use the Jack here. Cutscene, the sword is unlocked, look down this hole and you'll see a Cockroach, kill it, and that makes 50. Get back and go to the Study, take the Antique Saber. Go to Mallory's Room and get the Fencing Medal. Go outside. Take ISL Letter # 3. Talk to Hogsqueal, he'll ask you for Birdseed, go to the Cellar. Take Birdseed. Go back to Hogsqueal. Talk to him and he'll give you the Vision. Let's go to the Woods. Go to the Quarry sign and then go to the pond on Deep Woods. Go to the Cypress Tree and use it. You'll be teleported to another Cypress Tree, located on the Quarry. Catch the Royal Orchid Sprite, and then go back to the Cypress Tree on the pond. Take Cypress Leaf. Go to Forest Road. Now go to the Deep Woods, the part that looks a maze. Use the Oak Tree to teleport. Kill the Goblins and crawl into the hole. Kill the ones here and go. Continue to a place where you see a Flower Winged Sprite in the distance. You can't go there yet. Catch the Will-O'-The-Wisp and the Flower Head Sprite. Go back using the Oak Tree. Take the Oak Leaf. Go back to the first Quarry Sign. Take the path to the Quarry. Feed the River Troll 5 Goblins. Continue and enter the Quarry Sign. You need to kill 20 Goblins, go through the main entrance of the Quarry. Get down the ramp and start killing Goblins. Once you kill 20 Goblins, Redcap will appear. Use the same strategy you used in Quest 16. This time it'll only take 3 times. Go to the place where you ran from the Land Troll. Jump to the second platform, then at the end of that platform, will be a crystal. Hit it with a Gobstone. Go through this new platform and get the Metal Cricket. Get the Faerie Fruit and the Flower Winged Sprite. Continue this path and crawl into the hole. Kill the Goblins and hit the crystal with a Gobstone, go up and talk to the Knocker. He'll give you 60 Gobstones. Teleport with the Oak Tree. Go to the pond in Deep Woods. Use the Cypress Tree. Up ahead is the Griffin, you need to feed him 5 Fire Salamanders. Go to the pond with the River Troll, get next to him and do a Charge Attack at him, do this for 4-5 seconds and he'll turn to stone. It's better if you have the Unlimited Charge Attack. Go to the Quarry, go next to the cabin that had the Aluminum Bat, drop down and look at the tree. There are 3 jars, break them, there should be a jar that will release a Leatherwing Sprite. Jump to the bridge and then climb down the ladder, go to the pond. Catch the Leatherwing Sprite and take the Griffin Feather. Get back to the first Quarry Sign. Use Fire Salamander shortcut, the one at the end that will take you next to the log. Get to the mansion. Cutscene. You're playing as Mallory. Backtrack to the first Quarry Sign again. Now go to Deep Woods, the maze part. Use the Oak Tree. Kill the Goblins and crawl into the hole. Keep killing them and make your way to the Riddle Room. Go to the Cellar and then outside. This is the only Quest where you can switch freely the character you want to play with. To switch, simply get next to that character and press O. You need to hold the Goblins for 3, 3 and a half minutes. You can use the Leatherwing and the Bellflower Sprite. After the 3 minutes you'll see a cutscene. _______________________________________________________________________ End of Quest 26 _______________________________________________________________________ Quest 27: Mulgarath Chase Tasks: Mulgarath Dumbwaiter Window Tower _______________________________________________________________________ Now you start as Jared and Mulgarath is coming right at you. I say RUN. This is a bit like the Land Troll escape, only a bit harder. Run to the Kitchen and then use the Dumbwaiter. You need to be quick or Mulgarath will grab you. If you're successful, you'll see a cutscene and Mulgarath will transform. Mash the buttons to get to the Study Room. Once you get there you'll see a cutscene. You need to get to Thimbletack. Ignore the Goblins. Go left and climb the shelves. Continue going and another cutscene will take place. Now you're on the roof. Jump to the left. Cutscene. Now you need to climb to the roof, same way as the Dumbwaiter. When you get there go to the other side and climb the ladder.
