Now glide onto the steps ahed of you, and from here you can glide to the carasel, and go up the swirly that will take you to Cloud 9. HOW DO I GET IT?: You must set of the cannon like machines as in Crop Circle Country. The locations of the machines are- From the start go forward at the (crossroads?) and go up the swirly. When you are off the swirly, behind you is a platform. Glide to this platform and then to the next one, which has a machine. Go up the swirly and there is the machine. From the start, head along the right hand path at the crossroads. Keep following this rather long path until you reach a pool. Go up the steps next to the pool. You should come out in a new area. Go and speak to Thimble and he will tell you that a thief has stolen his wand. Charge down this thief and when you hit him he will drop his wand. Return this to Thimble and he will activate the swirly behind him. From here float down to the hard-to-miss platform. Keep following the platforms around and eventually you will reach a rainbow road. Follow the road and you will find another machine. In the area in which you found Thimble, go to the top right hand corner. You will notice a passage, go through this passage and on the other side is a cloud platform. Jump on this and follow the buildings/platforms around. You should come to a swirly. At the top jump on the cloud platform. HOW DO I GET IT?: Inside this portal you are in the spitfire again. This time you need to destroy 4/4 battleships, which take rather a lot of damage. Again you will have 5 hit points and if you lose these you will have to restart the challenge. My advice for taking out the battleships would be to fire at one, and then the next, and then the next. Do this going in a clockwise/anti- clockwise direction. Please don't just concentrate on one and then when that is destroyed, concentrate on the next, as this is harder. Don't shoot down the flying Riptocs, as you can just avoid them. When all 4 battleships are destroyed you will receive Tweedle. ALTENATIVE EXPLIANATON: You don't have to take a little bit of life off of each when you go round. Now to your left will be the first star, jumping up and down on a cloud. 9 more will follow this one. To make the stars count you need to flame each of them. When you have done the final star, there will be a rainbow road to your right. Super charge along it and smash the go-karts along the way. Make sure that you are charging in the opposite direction to the go- karts, as this saves time. When you have smashed all 10 go karts, take flight and fly in the opposite direction to the Riptocs, flaming them along the way. HOW DO I GET IT?: If you go to the left of the exit portal, there is a path behind the honey-fall. Go along this path and through the tunnel and there should be a ledge to your left. Jump on this ledge and turn around. To your left you should see a portal inside a cave. Inside this portal is the Honey Slide. Two-Eyed Willy (a strange name even if his willy does have two eyes…) tells you that a bee has a dragonfly and that you must chase it to the bottom of the slide. In this slide you have a whole manner of obstacles to contend with including- logs, flowers, gaps in the ground and narrow paths. You must keep within sight of the bee to be 'following him'. If he loses you or you fall down a hole you will have to restart the pursuit. But you should finish a good way ahead of him anyway. When you get to the bottom, Two Eyed Willy will tell you that he got the dragonfly from the bee and that he will give it to you. After you go up the 2nd swirly there will be a row of blue lit lanterns behind you. Go up the steps behind you and go to the end of the platform. Now glide across to the bigger brown lanterns, inside the 2nd of these is Charlotte. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (72) NAME: Jordan COLOUR: Yellow ATLAS DESCRIPTION: Chopping Block HOW DO I GET IT?: From where you found Charlotte go through the obvious passage and you will come to some swinging axes, in between some platforms. On the first platform is Jordan (no this dragonfly doesn't have a huge bust-unlike the original Jordan who does). _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (73+74) NAMES: Coppertop + Neo COLOURS: Both Blue ATLAS DESCRIPTIONS: Oasis time trial + Oasis Race HOW DO I GET THEM?: On the next platform after you caught Jordan, look to left and you will see a portal- go inside it. This portal is the Oasis Speedway. There are again, 2 modes here- Time attack and Race the thieves. You will recieve two dragonflies if you complete both. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Time Attack _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Again you should have no trouble with the 10 rings. After you have done the rings, there is a lighthouse on your right, which the flying thieves are flying round. Note that they are not in a line- they are just randomly spaced about, so you'll have to flame quickly. When you have burned all 10 thieves, to the left of the lighthouse are the cobras. You must flame these also but thankfully they are all in a line. When you have flamed the final cobra, to your left is a track, on which the camels are running. Make sure that you run in the opposite direction to the camels, as to save time. When you have charged down all of the camels, time attack mode is complete and Sparx will give you Coppertop, which the thieves gifted you for your 'impressive flying'. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Race The Thieves _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I will now take you through one lap of the course. If you follow this same lap three times, you should win the race. Don't forget, if you miss a ring or fall in the water then you will have to restart the race. So with that START YOUR ENGINES! take the first 2 rings and then to your left should be a rocket (for use against the thieves), now take the next the next ring and get the speed boost star. In quick succssion there is another star- but you have to go through a ring before you get it. Now take the next 3 rings and hang a sharp right and go nto a tunnel. In this tunnel there is a star, and as you exit tunnel there is another. Take the next 3 rings and go round the back of the lighthouse, here is the final speed-boost star. Now take then final 2 rings with speed. To do this dive under the water and charge the big yellow buttons inside the caves, in the sides of the lake. There are 4 buttons in total. When you have pushed every button, make your way up to the door. Just after you defeat the first wizard on your right should be a a tunnel held up by wooden beams. To the left of ths tunel is a huge abyss. Yet again you will have 8 fires to put out. The first 6 are in front of you, on a platform with holes in it. Be careful not to fall down here or you'll not do the challenge. The final 2 are behind the Ice Challenge Portal, on platforms- get these quickly and you will release Marta. You will be on a platform, on your right you will see 2 other platforms. The nearest is the very start of the level. The far one will lead you to a chest containing Racket. The whereabouts of the key are mentioned between Neo and Martin. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ *When you go up the 2nd swirly, behind you,you will see some cracks in the wall. Electric breath all of the ariels and you will be taken towrards more platforms. DON'T try and glide to the wizard now as he is too far away. Instead wait until the platform stops moving forward and stats to go back. If you try to glide before then you won't be able to glide properly and you will likely as not die. When you are on the other platforms, electric-breath all of the airals on these platforms, don't forget the one's up the steps. This isn't easy so keep at it. When you have eletric-breathed all of the arials, go up the steps to the upper level and you will see the wizard has been lowered to your level. Unlike the other wizards, you can just use one of your breaths against this one. In the next room there are 5 statues around the sides of the room. Each statue has a coloured gem in it. Flame-breath each statue in this order- red,green,blue,purple and then yellow. When you have done this Scarlett will appear in the centre of the room. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (82) NAME: Doompa COLOUR: Green ATLAS DESCRIPTION: Inside the temple HOW DO I GET IT?: When you have earned Scarlett, climb the ladder to the left of the blue-gemmed statue. A little way along the top, is Doompa. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ *When you got Doompa, follow the platform around and you will come to a T-1000. Look down the ledge to your left and you will see that you can jump on top of the statues. The locations of the of the arials are listen below- *The first one is not far away from the normal portal. *Now turn around and you should see another 4 on the other side of the Challenge Portal. *Now you should have 3 remaining. Climb up the slanting ladders on the side of the temple, when you get to the top, there are are 2 on your right. * Still on top of the temple to your left is the final arial. You will now be awarded Karen. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ *Now go into the portal on the left-hand side of the bridge. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (85) NAME: Saji COLOUR: Blue ATLAS DESCRIPTION: Lava Slide HOW DO I GET IT?: Inside the portal Proffesor Squeek tells you that the volcano is about to blow! Slide down the slide and when you reach the bottom Prof Squeek will give you Saji. On this slide you will encounter such hazards as- Lava rivers, narrow paths, gaps in the ground, jumping lava and huge, massive rolling balls. Oh yeah, did I forget? There is lava chasing you down the slide. But don't worry, unless you are extremley slow, it'll never catch you. If you die, like on all the other slides, you won't lose a life, you will just have to restart the slide. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (86) NAME: Jason COLOUR: Blue ATLAS DESCRIPTION: On the lava. HOW DO I GET IT?: Inside the first (sort of) temple, you will meet Dr. Kogan. He wants you to recover his equipment from the R-1000's. Anyway, pass through the shield power-up and you will be able to walk on the lava. To defeat the the R-1000's, all you have to do is Ice-breath them and then charge into them. Then pick up the pieces which they drop. Note: You don't have to get all of the parts in one go, you can go back as many times as you want to renew your power-up. When you have killed all of the R-1000's, and collected all of the pieces of equipment which they drop, return to Kogan and he will give you Jason. If you are having trouble finding the last R-1000, then it is probably this one- From the shield power-up go straight forward and you will come to a cave with red rays of light in it. Inside the cave is the final R-1000 and a portal... *Note on this platform is another shield power-up. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (87) NAME: Warren COLOUR: Blue ATLAS DESCRIPTION: Tower HOW DO I GET IT?: Inside the afore mentioned portal is a tower. You must climb to the top of this tower. Sound simple enough, but you will soon see... Now I am going to tell you one route- the route that I use, but as I understand it, there are numerous routes. You will have 5 hit points, and if you lose these hit points, you will have to restart the challenge. Ok, let me at it... Climb the ladder on your left hand side, watch out for the falling rocks of they hit you, you will lose one hit point and fall down to the bottom. When you have got past the first lot of falling rocks, you will be met by some terantulas, just avoid these as they will not attack you. When you are past the terantulas, head to your right (avoiding the doublle set of falling rocks) and you should come to more terantulas. When you get past these (being careful of the one patroling the final part of the ladder) you will reach the top. There will be 5 aspects of the game and I will give a score out of 10 for each. Sound 4/10 The sound is much the same as all the other Spyro's. Nothing new really. The main thing that lets the sound down is that there are constant glitches in it. Examples of these glitches are when such noises like the sound of a collected game or the collected dragonfly get stuck. Gameplay 5/10 The gameplay of 'Enter The Dragonfly' compares to that of the first Spyro. The gameplay of 'Gateway To Glimmer' and 'Year Of The Dragon' were brilliant. When I purchased 'Enter The Dragonfly' I was expecting a large improvement in the gameplay (aound 9 or 10 out of 10), but I was sadly disappointed. The only real reason that I did an FAQ and with that the only reason I completed the game was because I'd wasted my good money on it. Graphics 8/10 The graphics are what really keep this game alive. By far the best we have seen by a Spyro game. Though there are a few glitches which I have noticed including- Charging into objects when you are a good way from them, when you fall down a gap Spyro does the falling movements but doesn't acutally fall. Having said this on the whole the the graphics are very good.8/10 Storyline 7/10 Not much of a storyline really, carries on from the 'Year of The Dragon'. I don't really like the idea of the catching of the dragonflies or the fact the Ripto returns when you already dealt with him in Avalar. On the whole not bad. Lastability 6/10 The real question is will you be playing this is a few months? The real answer is- don't count on it. Where is the portal, in which I find Ripto? A. In the south of Dragon Realms, next to the river, near the gap in the landscape which leads to the 'Electric Gate'. The portal is in the ground not stood upright. Q. Why are there so many glitches in the game? A. Now follow the tunnel until you come out into the open. Go up the platform and unfreeze the 2nd dragon. From this platform glide on to the platform on your right. Follow the platforms round until you reach a portal… go in. You are now in a Speedway. Here there are two options- Time Attack and Race The Riptocs. You will collect a dragonfly for completing each. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Time Attack _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ You should fly though the 10 rings easily. At the end of these rings should be the first lantern on the right-hand side. As you fly through each lantern make sure you flame it as you go through- this will light it. Once you have done all 10 of these, drop down to the ground and charge and break all of the rickshaws. Make sure that you charge in the opposite direction to save time. Once you have done all rickshaws, take flight and the Riptocs should be flying around a rock. Again fly in the opposite direction to them to save time. Now quickly rise and head towards the next ring. After you take this ring hang a sharp left. Under this canopy is a star. Now rise and take the next few rings. This is the end of the lap. Follow path and destroy tank in front of the targets. Then shoot both targets and the shutter will open. In this area there are 4 tanks, destroy them and move to the next area.( behind 3 rock piles in a line) Now there will be a tank behind a covering. By now you should have destroyed 7/21. Now follow path and destroy 2 tanks. Now behind the 2 covers are 2 targets, hit them to lift the shutter. By the end of this section you should have 15/21 destroyed tanks. Head into the final area and finish off the rest of them.
