While playing the game, hold Start and press A + X + Y to display a "Cheat" menu with options including unlocking Ryo, no damage, no hit stop; a virtual DIP switch bank; and a memory monitor.
Successfully complete Arcade mode without losing any rounds to unlock Ryo Sakazaki.
Defeat all opponents in Single Player mode without losing any rounds. Ryo will be your opponent after Krauser is defeated.
Accomplish the indicated achievement to get the corresponding number of Gamerscore points:
- Perfect Victory (5 points): Defeat your opponent without sustaining any damage, in Arcade Game.
- Complete the Game (15 points): Complete the game, in Arcade Game. (OK to continue.).
- Survival (30 points): Complete the game mode without losing and continues, in Arcade Game.
- Perfect Victory (5 points): Defeat your opponent without sustaining any damage, in Arcade Game.
- High Score (10 points): Acquire more than 400,000 points, in Arcade Game.
- 5 Straight Wins (20 points): Achieve 5 straight wins on Xbox Live.
- 10 Straight Wins (35 points): Achieve 10 straight wins on Xbox Live.
- 10 Wins (10 points): Achieve 10 wins on Xbox Live.
- 50 Wins (20 points): Achieve 50 wins on Xbox Live.
- The King Of Fighters (35 points): Achieve 100 wins on Xbox Live.
- Flying Kim Bonus (5 points): This is a secret mission. You need to unlock it first.
- Mai's Folding Fans (5 points): This is a secret mission. You need to unlock it first.
- Complete the Game (15 points): Complete the game, in Arcade Game. (OK to continue.).
