The King Of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match Bonus characters
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character:
- C.Zero: Defeat him in Endless mode Battle #63 or in Story mode.
- EX Kensou: Successfully complete Normal Challenges 11 through 20 in Challenge mode.
- EX Robert: Defeat him in Endless mode Battle #10 or in Story mode.
- EX Takuma: Successfully complete Normal Challenges 21 through 30 in Challenge mode.
- Geese: Defeat him in Endless mode Battle #59.
- Goenitz: Defeat him in Endless mode Battle #60.
- Igniz: Defeat him in Endless mode Battle #65 or in Story mode.
- Krizalid: Defeat him in Endless mode Battle #62 or in Story mode.
- Nightmare Geese: Defeat Nightmare Geese in Expert Challenge 20.
- Rugal: Defeat him in Endless mode Battle #66 or in Story mode.
- Zero: Defeat him in Endless mode Battle #64 or in Story mode.
Fight against Bosses
Select Team Play or Single Play mode. Reach the indicated level of desperation special move on the last remaining team opponent player K.O. finish before facing the Boss:
- C-Zero: Defeat the last remaining team opponent character before the Boss with a regular desperation special move. Note: Requires one stocks.
- Igniz: Defeat the last remaining team opponent character before the Boss with a MAX2 desperation special move. Note: Requires two stocks when health is 80%.
- Krizalid: Defeat the last remaining team opponent character before the Boss with a normal punch/kick or regular character move.
- Rugal: Defeat the boss with only one character. If unsuccessful, use a regular desperation special to finish the Boss with your last two characters.
- Zero: Defeat the last remaining team opponent character before the Boss with a double stock desperation special move. Note: Requires two stocks.
Failure bonuses
Intentionally fail the indicated task to unlock the corresponding bonus:
- All other bonuses: Fail Expert Challenges 300 times.
- Demo movie and Expert Challenges: Fail Normal Challenges 100 times.
- EX Kensou and Challenges 21-30: Fail Normal Challenges 50 times.
- EX Robert and Challenges 11-20: Fail Normal Challenges 25 times.
- EX Takuma: Fail Normal Challenges 75 times.
