Vehicles in this game are pretty much what you might think, with all the usual suspects like Suzuki and Ducati there. And in addition to having cars available for racing, you're also able to choose from an assortment of motorcycles. And you won't be limited to motorcycle or vehicle-only races; in fact you can use either vehicle whenever you want. I personally liked using the motorcycle in racing challenges because you can exert more precise control when leaning into turns.

One thing that the Project Gotham Racing series has been famous for is its music. And while Project Gotham Racing 4 has a whole bunch of genres, each of these genres lacks any sufficient amount of content. There are about 10 different genres with everything from smooth jazz to classical and rock. However, each of these genres only had three or four songs in its catalogue, and unless you had them all turned on, there's not a whole bunch of song variation. I was happy that Flight of the Valkyries was a song in the classical catalog. As far as automotive noises go, those are pretty standard here. There's enough variation that they don't get annoying, but they don't really stand out either.
PGR4 also has a plethora of options when it comes to online modes. There are ranked matches, unranked matches, custom matches, and pretty much any event that you can play in the game is playable online. And all the tracks, vehicles, and weather conditions that you've garnered in career mode are all here too. So even after you play through all the various career modes and arcade modes, this game keeps giving you new ways to play!

Project Gotham Racing 4 does not really fit the bill when it comes to a generic-type arcade game. If you're looking for the same-old automotive arcade experience, then you may have to look elsewhere. But if your looking for hours of fun with an extremely challenging but rewarding title, I strongly recommend this one!
