Hex Mark mount
Successfully complete Story mode for Liu Bei and Pang Tong to unlock the Hex Mark horse.
Red Hare mount
Successfully complete Story mode for Dong Zhuo, Guan Yu, and Lu Bu to unlock the Red Hare mount for purchase at the stable vendors for 100,000 gold. This horse is extremely fast and has high stamina.
Shadow Runner mount
Successfully complete Story mode for Cao Cao to unlock the Shadow Runner horse. It has very high stamina once at max level.
Easy money
After capturing Luoyang in Chapter 2, the merchant with the fishing quest will give you four ultimate baits. Instead of using them in the guided fishing spot, use them in the moat immediately outside Luoyang moat. You have a chance to get beautiful saddles that sell for 7,500 gold each, strange artifacts that sell for 2,000 gold each, and other moderate sale items. Around Chapter 3 you can purchase ultimate baits and repeat this process as many times as desired. You can get approximately 250,000 gold per 10 ultimate baits.
Search for bandits, especially bandit chiefs and leaders (worth more). Kill bandits to get XP and items. Gather their items and sell them to vendors to get approximately 6,000 gold for each group of defeated bandits.
Easy bonding
Acquire two hideaways. Then, send a letter to an officer from one hideaway, and travel to the second hideaway. Once you open the door to the hideaway, the officer will spawn next to the building outside. Simply talk with the officer to raise their bond level. Next, send a letter to an officer from the second hideaway, and return to the first hideaway. Repeat this process as many times as desired.
Travel to major cities after each chapter so you avoid missing opportunities to speak with certain officers whom may be killed later in the game. This also helps with getting “The Ties That Bind Us” achievement.
Achievements
Accomplish the indicated achievement to get the corresponding number of Gamerscore points:
- True Warrior of the 3 Kingdoms (90 points): Obtain all of the achievements in the game.
- Flowers Amidst the Chaos (80 points): Unlock all of the officers.
- The Pinnacle of Might (80 points): Earn a total of 100,000 K.O.s.
- Veteran Master (30 points): Raise an officer to the highest level.
- Winged Equine (30 points): Raise a horse to the highest level.
- Golden Palace (30 points): Earn a total of 90,000 gold.
- Legend of Wei (30 points): Complete the story of Wei.
- Legend of Wu (30 points): Complete the story of Wu.
- Legend of Shu (30 points): Complete the story of Shu.
- Legend of Jin (30 points): Complete the story of Jin.
- Storyteller (30 points): Complete the stories of the kingdoms other than Wei, Wu, Shu, and Jin.
- Master of the Hunt (30 points): Earn a total of 5,000 Hunting Points.
- A Gathering of Heroes (30 points): Unlock 45 officers.
- Extensive Knowledge (30 points): Unlock all battle entries in the Encyclopedia.
- Wanderlust (30 points): Discover 75% of the locations in the game.
- One Warrior vs. a Thousand (10 points): Defeat 1,000 enemies in a single battle.
- Equestrian (10 points): Defeat 1,000 enemies while mounted on a horse.
- Sun Piercer (30 points): Defeat 1,000 enemies with bow attacks.
- Sure Shot (10 points): Defeat 100 enemies with bow attacks.
- Sword Brandisher (10 points): Defeat 100 enemies with assault attacks.
- Storm and Stress (10 points): Achieve a 1,000 hit combo.
- Smasher (10 points): Defeat a powerful enemy.
- Traveler (10 points): Discover 35% of the locations in the game.
- Interior Decorator (10 points): Obtain 10 pieces of furniture.
- Collector (10 points): Obtain 20 gems.
- A Brush with Expertise (10 points): Obtain a High-class weapon.
- Master of the Martial Arts (10 points): Obtain 30 weapons.
- Nimble Fingers (10 points): Perform synthesis 100 times.
- Sworn Friends (10 points): Form a bond at the maximum level with another officer.
- Hideaway (10 points): Obtain a hideaway.
- Epicure (10 points): Eat 100 meals.
- Fisher (10 points): Catch 30 items while fishing.
- Steady Worker (10 points): Obtain 30 items by using box traps.
- Sightseer (10 points): Discover a scenic area.
- Traces of a Hero (10 points): Complete a story.
- End of an Era (10 points): Complete a key mission.
- New Allies (10 points): Unlock an officer.
- Graduation Day (10 points): Complete the tutorial for one of the kingdoms.
Additionally, there are six secret achievements:
- Unrivaled Warrior (30 points): Raise an officer’s Attack to 900.
- The Ties that Bind Us (30 points): Form a bond at the maximum level with 20 officers.
- Thronged with Visitors (30 points): Obtain 10 hideaways.
- Helter-Skelter (10 points): Complete a mission within 1 minute.
- Vandal (30 points): Destroy 100 structures.
- Like a Bird (10 points): Juggle an enemy in the air for 5 seconds.
