Activision Anthology was released on November 21, 2002, for the PlayStation 2. The game arrived at great reviews because it didn’t try to be something it wasn’t. The game was and is mainly praised on the internet because of how faithful it is to the era of games it’s compiling. Unfortunately, this title is very different across its other ports but the PS2 is the only home console option, and while it isn’t as complete as the PC and Mac releases its preferable to the mobile versions.

Activision Anthology is as the name suggests a compilation of Activision titles, specifically from Activision’s Ataro 2600 lineup. It is a nostalgia-bait title that might not appeal to everyone but it’s perfect for a very specific type of gamer — one who has many memories playing Pitfall Keystone Kapers.
