Advanced Warfare will Ship with 14 Maps, More Info Detailed

During last week, it was revealed via Twitter that the upcoming addition to the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare , will ship with 14 maps, with the 14th map being available via the game’s Collector’s Edition or its Season Pass at launch.

The co-founder of Sledgehammer Games (the developer behind Advanced Warfare ), Michael Condrey, took to Twitter to answer a few questions regarding the game, where he confirmed the amount of maps Advanced Warfare would ship with when he was asked how many would be available with the base version of the game.

@AW_FanPage 13 maps plus Atlas Gorge via the collectors edition or season pass at launch.

The map “Atlas Gorge”, for those who don’t know, is a remake of the “Pipeline” map from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare .

Advanced Warfare will also feature a gamemode similar to Black Ops II’s “League Play”, which include monthly seasons of competitive play, with “ a special piece of loot ” rewarded at the end of a given season, depending on how well you perform during such. Condrey also confirmed this via Twitter.

@DutchmanTV1 the good news is now you’ll get a special piece of loot gear to wear for the next month based on your season performance

Lastly, Condrey also confirmed that any gear that you acquire from Supply Drops will still be usable even after you initiate your Prestige levels, as they will be carried over. However, the catch is that you’ll still have to unlock the base weapons and attachments through regular progression.

@BlugMax @Cullacita and unlock your base weapons again before you can use your weapon loot after prestiging.
