When it comes to major franchises, it’s a given that there’s always a new entry in development. Still, it’s always appreciated when we get some sort of confirmation that a game is in the works. That happened very recently with the Battlefield series, thanks to DICE Developing Director Dan Vaderlind.
Vaderlind posted on Twitter that he’s currently working on a new Battlefield , having been moved from a previous Battlefield project. Given that these games come out just about every year, hearing about a new one isn’t too surprising.
The most recent Battlefield was the Battlefield: Hardline spin-off released back in March. It was preceded by Battlefield 4 in 2013, Battlefield 3 in 2011, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 in 2010. Given the progression, maybe Battlefield 5 will be next?
