Assassin’s Creed Script Set To Receive Rewrite from Wolverine Screenwriter

Scott Frank, who most recently is known for his work on The Wolverine , is rewriting the script for Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie. “I’m rewriting Assassin’s Creed right now, and what I love about it is that I’ve never adapted a video game before and it has its own set of challenges,” Frank said. “Especially in the world of rewrites, I love trying to do something completely different if I can.”

We still don’t know much about the Assassin’s Creed film. We do know that Ubisoft will be working closely with the director and producer to make the movie fit the Assassin’s Creed video game world. We also know that Michael Fassbender will be playing the leading role, though we don’t know what that role will be.

Ubisoft has been busy in the movie world lately with over six movies in development. In addition to Assassin’s Creed , Ubisoft will also be making movies for Far Cry , Raving Rabbids , Watch_Dogs , Splinter Cell , and Ghost Recon.
