Batman Court of Owls Game Teases Intensify

Batman Court of Owls Game Teases Intensify

It seems more and more like the new Batman game will be announced any day. We’ve seen teases about The Court of Owls storyline possibly being the next game since back in January 2019 . Now, two new hints suggest something more is coming. Both the Court of Owls creator and Warner Bros have unofficially and officially teased it.

The latest round of Batman Court of Owls game teasing began on Batman’s 80th anniversary. On September 22, 2019, WB Games Montreal shared a brief video on Twitter with clips of iconic moments, and a Court of Owls hint was there. (That developer made Batman: Arkham Origins .) That’s when Scott Snyder, the author behind that storyline, commented saying, “Wait for it…” with the hashtag #bewarethecourtofowls. That tweet was deleted, but the internet remembers.

After that, there was another, even more obvious tease from WB Games Montreal. The studio posted a video of a number of cryptic images, accompanied by the phrase, “Capture the Knight / Cape sur la nuit.” While these aren’t explained, it could be that this is also a Court of Owls reference. There are multiple members, like R. H. Orchard and Maria Powers. Maybe each icon refers to a member in the new game? Also, the group sends its Talon assassins out to attack targets. They could have some plans for Batman or his allies.

In the meantime, while people wait for the next WB Batman game, people can grab some free ones. The Epic Games Store is giving away free Batman: Arkham Collection and Lego Batman Trilogy copies on PCs until September 26, 2019.
