Battlefield V Firestorm Leak Offers Sizzling Battle Royale Facts

Battlefield V is among the many games jumping onboard the battle royale train, even though its mode hasn’t left the station yet. People have been waiting on Firestorm since the shooter’s November 2018 launch. Firestorm is supposed to be out in March 2019, and now a leaked video offers all sorts of details on what people may be able to expect from it.

Firestorm, the Criterion team-developed battle royale, will bring in a few hallmarks from other, similar games. People will be dropped onto a map with 64 other people. You will be working alone, in a Duo with another person, or in a Squad with multiple people. Once you land on the ground, you need to find weapons, which are available in common, rare, and epic varieties. You also need to collect ammo. (If you are playing with other people cooperatively, you can share your inventory.)

It will have some unique elements to it. You can destroy the environmental elements around you with your attacks. Also, if you are downed and dying, you still have the ability to fight and fire back at enemies in your final moments. That could give you a chance to get revenge or help your allies.

In case you missed it, here is the supposedly leaked Battlefield V Firestorm video. It is designed to teach people how to play through the battle royale mode.

We’ll see how accurate this leak is hopefully this month. While it doesn’t have a release date yet, EA, DICE, and Criterion are supposed to have this additional mode included in the game before the month ends. It will be a free update for everyone who owns a copy of the game. EA did release a tweet referencing the Reddit post and suggesting the mode is coming soon!
