Capcom announced today in its fourth quarter projections that most of its games are getting bumped into the company’s fiscal year 2010 (April 2010 – March 2011) due to pressure from other companies’ game releases. Games including Lost Planet 2, Super Street Fighter IV, Dead Rising 2, and Monster Hunter Tri will all be delayed, stating the necessity to “avoid competing with the major titles that other companies plan to introduce in the fourth quarter.” Games such as God of War III, BioShock 2, Final Fantasy XIII, and many more will all be vying for market-share. |
